Shehk grimaced when she noticed how well Altair had fired at the target, shifting from foot to foot anxiously. Nukpana had better been a better shot than the incubus was, if only for the Pricolici's ego. Not to say she wouldn't still love the boil either way.

It was mostly the 'gotta outshine the somewhat molester' thing she had going on in her mind.

"Will we have access to the paint ball guns before the match with the NAP club?" she inquired suddenly. "Or at least something akin to them for the sake of us who may not be as good of aim as some people are?"

As soon as Riley yelled at them, Aksaja had dropped his gun and turned toward her, but luckily someone else (several someones actually) got the mindflayer's attention before she could focus on him. And West ended up as the target. HA! This was priceless!

In the ensuing "firefight", Jericho wasn't the only dragon in the air, as the lightning dragon took off too, though he was flying almost at right angles to the rage-demon. It seemed to work well enough, though the gun was more difficult to aim when both he and his target were in motion. Still, he felt a pang of disappointment when Riley announced there would be no flying in the actual game.

And once it was over (apparently), Aksaja landed neatly and looked toward the targets. Which were not moving. And also almost completely clean and uncovered with paint. That was pretty boring. Still, he took aim at one of them almost lazily and fired off a shot. Sure sure, target practice, whatever. Could they play the REAL game soon now??

It was hard to tell where Nuk had disappeared off to in the entire time the unofficial paintball scrimmage had been going down. As soon as Riley had let him slink off from the front where she had been talking, he'd purposefully slipped away to avoid being shot at, his theory confirmed as he watched Christof take the paintball. Poor guy... but then again, better Chris than him. He'd wavered near the back after that, watching as everyone was ushered out, following but not really participating, basically just laying low for a while. Of course, that was until Riley disappeared, and suddenly things erupted into complete chaos.

The 'Trainer' part of him sitting on his right tried to tell him to make the effort to control everyone. But the devil part of him was screaming 'FOOD PAINT FIGHT.'

And, of course, he'd slunk off again as Riley had come back, not keen on invoking her wrath again. And because he'd seen Altair looking for him, as well as that dead-on shot he'd made. Truth be told, he wasn't... exactly the best shooter. If you gave him a PAINT BAZOOKA, sure! If you gave him PAINTBALL MACHINE GUN, he could rock it! But aiming at an itty bitty target? Not so much. He was more of a close-combat type of guy.

Riley had made sure to pay special attention this time around, as her team began practicing targets. Seeing as they'd skipped to the moving target practice before aim practice, she wasn't going to bother with it anymore.

She stopped her pacing at Shehk's question, reaching to adjust Shehk's hold on the gun and widen her stance a bit. The paintball guns are only available for practice under Christof's supervision, sadly. But I'm sure he'd be happy to come down here with you one day, if you schedule it with him.

Her pacing continued, stopping at each student, and adjusting their stance. She helped Astra stand up straighter, and find a better hold so the gun wouldn't send her flying back. She commplimented Altair on his impeccable aim. She stopped at Mot, watching his perfect stance, and nodded approvingly. Things were really looking up for the game, with a team like this one.

Then she caught a glimpse of Natalia skidding in to sign in, and sighed. Someone would have to catch her up on all she'd missed.

Bul and Dante were back on track at practicing their aim, and they needed little adjustment. She knew they would do fine, when the time came. Aksaja, however, was looking less than impressive.

Head up. She was beside him suddenly, tilting her chin in example. Back straight. Eyes on the target, stop looking around. I won't tolerate weak links. Quieter, she leaned in and gave him a curious, almost regretful glance. You really don't seem to want to be here, Aksaja. Have I made a mistake in making this agreement with you?

Aksaja glanced over at Riley when she came over to him and imitated her stance, though it was perhaps a touch slow. "Hey, I hit Jericho earlier, didn't I?" he pointed out with the barest hint of a pout. It was just that a stationary target was less fun than a moving one, though even he could tell that his aim needed quite a bit of work. Oh, and not to mention it was still too Jacking early in the morning.

But now, he almost felt guilty for slacking off. Dammit, why did true friendship have to be so hard sometimes? "No," he murmured softly in answer to her second, private, comment. "S'just really early in the morning and I'm usually still asleep right now." He fought back a yawn, then offered her a little smile. "Just wait til we get to shoot each other again. Might even give you a run for your money."

Aksaja's response looked like it pleased her, and she patted him on the shoulder. I look forward to it. Though, we're on the same team when the real game comes. Don't be so excited to get a shot in on me, now.

Speaking of which, she thought the group had been making some progress, but their time was almost to a close. She felt they'd done enough shooting of each other for one day, but Aksaja's comment had reminded her that they were enjoying that particular aspect more than target practice. She would have preferred to keep them at this until the meeting was over, but..

All right, everyone, gather around. We don't have much time left, so pick a partner and one of you head off to the target zones you've been shooting at. Let's play a little paint tag.

"Oh, are we? Well then I'll back sure to work on my aim some more so our team can be awesome," he shot back with a grin.

At her next announcement to the group, the lightning dragon tilted his head a bit. Partners, huh? Weeeeelll now, this sounded interesting. Glancing around, Aksaja moved over toward Jericho with a grin. "Sorry 'bout before. Wanna partner up now?" he asked the other dragon, holding a hand out. He didn't really think the other could be too mad at him, considering everyone had been shooting everyone else back then.

Even with Riley's help to fix her stance, Shehk's ability to shoot something and not miss horribly was still rather...off. She barely even hit the edge of the target, ears drooping wimpily at her own failure. That hadn't been all that fantastic.

However, it seemed, soon enough, the game plan was changing and Shehk hadn't even hit the center rings of the target. Man, she really sucked at that. Never the less, it seemed she needed to find her a partner, looking at Nuk, then at Altair, and then at Nuk again, batting her eyelashes at the skinwalker, but not quite initiating the offer to team up.

It was really up to him if he wanted to be trapped with her failure at shooting things.

Altair sneered a little, not that Riley could see through his helmet, but the sentiment was there, shrugging off her compliment though it did make him preen a little, pulling off a few more shots, sucking his teeth as he missed.

The incubus perked up as he heard the mindflayer's voice echo in his head. Paint tag. His eyes flicked instantly towards the skinwalker. The boil was at the monster's side in moments, shouldering into him roughly and jerking his head towards the target zone.

"Let's be partners. Get down there, skinwalker," he nearly purred, delighted at this opportunity.

Sammy had only fired a few shots, in that time something odd occurred to her. This paintball gun felt oddly familiuar, firing at a target, all of it was strangely simple to her and she couldn't place why. So she stayed with Siddie for a bit firing towards the targets enjoying the satisfaction of hitting every time with ease. "Well Siddie your choice if you wana play tag... I was thinking of causing trouble for that demon again though..."

With things having calmed down in the meantime, Jericho had gone back to practicing on the targets. There wasn't a whole lot to that, but after some thought, he had to wonder if this wasn't going to be too different from their actual game anyway. They were up against NAP after all.

Then again he doubted they'd be napping in the middle of a freaking paintball game.

Hearing Riley's voice call out to everyone again, though in a much less angry fashion, he looked over towards her and nodded at the mention of partner work. Before he could really scan the area to see who he might be able to team up with, Aksaja had already approached him for the position.

"Yeah sure thing," he agreed while shaking the other dragon's hand.

So much excitement. And chaos. And rage. And... Partnering time?

While she knew quite a number of the students by name or at least had seen them around school, she wasn't quite sure who to ask. The only ones she felt remotely comfortable approaching are Petro, Astra and... Jericho. The last option doesn't seem viable, however, seeing how someone else had already gotten to him. She couldn't help feeling a little disappointed at that.

Second time Aksaja had gotten in the way. Sort of.

All that's left now are Petro and Astra... Fiddling with her braid, she then slowly slid over to the former, pausing before looking up at him with a sheepish grin, "Petro, want to team up?"

First target practice on West, and now target practice on other teams? Well. Siddie could do that. "We could make him our target," she offered. "Riley did say we were playing tag. Who'd know if we were trying to tag someone in particular?" The smile that spread slowly beneath her helmet was an unusual one for her. The simple, clean act of aiming and firing felt so good. She never picked fights, preferring to follow another's lead; but making a clean shot on a clear target had awoken something in her that she'd never really touched.

She'd been confused and upset and angry, with no target for her feelings. She wanted to hurt something. The demon boil would do.

It took him a few minutes, but Nukpana located Shehk in the crowd of other participants and almost immediately started in her direction, grinning broadly from ear to ear. A game, with his ghoulfriend? Hell yes, why would this not be a good idea? He could let her shoot him up a bit, miss her purposely (psh, who was he kidding) so she'd feel all happy, then smooooothly suggest they go take a shower to wash off the paint. It was brilliant! The look in her eyes, too, seemed to suggest good things were in his future, and he gave her a debonair look as he began crossing the distance towards her, not even noticing Altair closing in towards him. It was only when he felt that shoulder brush roughly against his own that he turned towards the incubus, giving him an incredulous look, puffing up his chest at the order.

"Make me, ho," he replied defiantly, moving closer to shove him a bit, just for shouldering him like that, "I don't want to be your jacking partner, why in hell's name would I want to be partners with you?"

It took a few seconds, but it did hit him eventually. The sweetness of this plan that had so nicely fallen into his lap, courtesy of Riley.

Paintball.

Gun.

A chance to shoot Altair? Hmmmm...

A not-so-inconspicuous grin curled the corners of his mouth, and the skinwalker glanced over at Shehk to give her a wink, hoping she'd understand. He was sure she would. She knew the deep-seeded revenge he felt buried deep in his core. "Ok, incubus, because I'm a good trainer, I'll be your partner. Since you can't get anyone yourself." Hoisting his gun over his shoulder, Nuk snorted at Altair, brushing past him to get into position. "Try not to cry when you get shot."

Junko was still at full ammo with her gun. Why? She couldn't figure out how to shoot it. Even with Sammy's advice she was having a lot of trouble just aiming or trying to fire the gun at all. Did she have a faulty gun? No, probably not. She just wasn't doing a very good job using it. It was totally her. She was about to give up and beg someone for help when she heard Riley's voice request them all to gather, listening to her instructions. "Ah...okay..." Paint tag? As in tag with paint? As in running. Oh dear, Riley knew that was one of her weaknesses!

But first things first. She needed a partner. Seiji? He didn't seem to be paying attention, but he'd probably be better off partnered with Bul anyway, right? Nuk was already claimed, Lizzy had someone, even Aksaja and Jericho and Sammy and Siddie. Oh! Maybe Shehk! She seemed nice enough though Junko hadn't really had the chance to actually get to know her. What better time than in a club? That's part of what these clubs were meant for, right? Making friends and stuff!

Junko hurried over to Shehk, smiling as she approached her. "Hi, Shehk! Do you want to be partners?"
