Its a very very vital part of your training, trust me." ||Level Two||Devil's Rhapsody||Ki Reserve: 450|| Grab the beer without moving? Aaron looked at the Muse and then at the beer in his hand. He reached his hand out, and realized that it was just outside of his reach. Aaron realized that he would probably need to use his ki in some sort of way to get the can, but all he really knew how to do was to use his ki to affect things he was already touching, or through his music. MUSIC! Aaron considered the can and its distance from him. Just think of it in terms of the sound, Aaron! You can do it! Aaron understood how sound worked: a source generated vibrations which travel between objects and space. If he could somehow treat his ki as though it were sound, it should be simple to have it grab the can, right? Aaron concentrated on his ki, and began to allow it to resonate within his body. He could feel the pulsing strength of the ki bouncing around inside his body. He allowed it to seep through his pores, and he watched as small tendrils of his azure-colored ki drifted toward the can. Aaron held out his hand, palm up, and allowed the ki to travel toward Arete's. As he watched, Aaron encouraged his ki to vibrate between the Muse's hand and the can itself. The can began to lift, and in this manner, he pulled the can across the gap and into his own hand. When the can landed in his hand, Aaron smiled and looked up. He did it! That was awesome! The Muse didn't look terribly amused, though, and instead stared at Aaron with expectation. "Oh, yeah." Aaron began to shotgun the beer, gulping down the frothy goodness in four large swallows.

Arete finished his own beer while the children applauded Aaron's success. "Way to go, kid. Now we can move onto this stage's awesome skills, hold on." Arete disappeared inside his trailer for a moment to grab something. Meanwhile three of the children who were there just stood where they were and stared at Aaron. They still seemed curious as to who he was, but were too shy to ask. After a moment they smiled to diffuse the awkwardness of the moment, and then Arete reappeared from his vehicular home with a book tucked under his arm. "Here you go, just read this and remember the training methods I taught you. You should learn it in no time." He said and handed Aaron the book that contained lengthy instruction on the Flawless Azure techniques.
Then Arete noticed Yue and waved him over. "Nice to see you were able to get some food, but it wasn't really necessary. I'd already grabbed plenty while you were distracting the chef. Still a shame about the man's pet, though. That wasn't very nice of you."

||Level Two||Devil's Rhapsody||Ki Reserve: 450|| Aaron gratefully took the instructions from Arete, and went to go continue his training. He waved to Yue as he passed. Sitting against a tree, Aaron began the arduous task of attempting to read a book.

Arete took the food and immediately passed it off to two of the children as they ran by. They eagerly brought it back to the trailer, though not before grabbing one or two things from the back and stuffing it into their mouths and pockets. "Well, thanks for the stuff. I'm sure the children will appreciate it." Arete smiled and casually gave Yue a thumbs up before turning around and heading back for his home. "See ya later."

||Level Two||Devil's Rhapsody||Ki Reserve: 450|| After plenty of reading and close interactions with the text that Arete gave Aaron, Aaron set to work on learning some of the Flawless Azure techniques. [1/1 Tutoring Bonus] Aaron concentrated on the pool of energy he held within his body. He urged the ki to surge toward his hands, and they began to glow blue with the color of his ki. This new skill, Majinken, was supposed to allow Aaron to increase his attack range. But the book also said it could be used in a different way. Aaron cupped his hands together and the energy formed into a sort of condensed sludge. Aaron slung the ball of ki away from him and it slammed into a tree. [1/1 Tutoring Bonus] Pleased that he was able to learn the skill so quickly, Aaron moved on to the next lesson. Aaron picked up a large stone and tossed it up in the air. Then, without moving, Aaron concentrated on hitting the stone. Then, without moving, He sent a surge of energy out to strike the stone as it fell, stopping it in its tracks. [1/1 Tutoring Bonus] The rock continued to fall after Aaron used the Genryuuken skill, so Aaron went ahead to use the next skill he'd read about. He held out his hand toward the rock and stopped it in midair. Then, with another burst of energy, he whipped the rock with his ki, knocking it back into the air. [1/1 Tutoring Bonus] The success of the Majin Genryuuken skill urged Aaron to continue the juggling of the rock. He swung an uppercut toward the stone as it fell within his range. He then took his free arm and thrust it toward the stone. With an explosive surge of energy, the rock shot forward and sailed away through the jungle. Aaron hoped that it wouldn't hit anyone. . . Arete continued his business as usual, leaving Aaron to his training. He fed the kids and took a nap in shade outside. Meanwhile, one of the children, the cyclops girl, brought Aaron a cup of lemonade once he too had taken a break. It seemed like a nice thing to do.

Emma made it through the familiar path, the eyes in her helmet shining for a moment as she scanned the area around her. Finding nothing abnormal, the mouth of the helmet pulled back to her face, along with the visor shortly after. Emma lowered her hood and shook her head out, looking almost normal aside from always carrying Gunner's new toy on her body. "This is....I remember now." Emma tightened the massive blue scarf around her body, knocking on Arete's door to get his attention. Last time she was here was a bad time...somebody Arete had known passed away unexpectedly, but perhaps now was a better time?

A few moments after Emma knocked, the door opened and Arete came into view. He was shirtless, with the blunt end of a tooth brush sticking out of his mouth and a white wash rag draped around his shoulders. For once, he wasn't wearing his bandanna. "Moh, hey em'mma." He greeted informally, juggling toothpaste inside his mouth as he tried to speak. His eyes slid downwards as he took notice of her new robotic attachment. "You uhhh…m'look deff'rent."

"Arete." Emma greeted in return, her face shifting to one of embarrassed confusion as she rubbed the back of her neck. "Bad time? You're a bit...half naked." Emma frowned, but she noticed that he was taking a look at her new suit and smiled proudly, posing as if she were in a magazine shoot. "Oh, you think I'm pretty, don't you? Don't you just love how all this cold metal hugs my figure?" The suit obviously wasn't meant for fashion display, and obviously didn't flatter whatever figure Emma assumed she had...but hey, it at least made her look like she had one. "Mind if I let myself in? The heat is murder inside of this, even with the auto-cooldown...I need to keep this somewhere while I'm in the jungle." The temperature regulation seemed to have a glitch here and there, but only after prolonged periods of time.
Emma didn't exactly wait for a yes or no, as steam rose from certain parts of the suit when Emma opened it. She stepped out in a completely black bodysuit that still seemed very connected to her. Nanomachines, son. "I didn't come to give you a two ton piece of machinery though...call it informal, but I came to check up on all of you." Emma rolled her shoulders and watched the suit close back up. She pulled the hood of it over the empty helmet and crossed her arms behind the back of her head. Emma's blank stare still never changed...it was kind of creepy, the way she was watching him bursh his teeth. "It seemed like something I was meant to do. After all, I owe you for the training."

Suddenly, Darion would erupt from the trees and launch another sharpened stick at the robotic lady, not looking to do any lethal damage but to distract her from Arete. Like hell would he let anyone get Dimitri. He stole him fair and square, there's no take backs that just rude!"OI! Bucket head! What the ******** do y-" Darion would look more closely and see pink hair. He would sniff the air a couple times and catch the scent of Emma's shampoo. It was the refreshing scent of Pink Lily, he'd know it anywhere. His cautious look suddenly became beaming with joy as he ran forward. "Emma! My darling!" He would say as he threw himself at her and wrapped around her neck. He would chuckle like a stupid fool as he hugged her. "I was ready to kill you because of....this get up you're wearing. I'm so glad I used sticks and not bullets! I had to think of the children and Dimitri. Cause you know...he's kinda....a wimp. " He would say in a more secretive tone. He would cling tighter against his lover with a big smile on his face.

Emma's hair stood on end when she heard the sound of something moving through the air. The sound was smooth, so it was more than likely an object like a spear...something that could go through the air with ease. Emma didn't have to dodge it, the sound was off so it was obviously not coming for any part of her body. Emma turned around with a fierce expression, reading a strike with her hand, but finding Darion rushing in to her arms and holding her tightly enough to make it tough to breathe. Emma looked completely blank, as always, but she was happy to see him.
"It's not just some get-up...Gunner made it for me. Break it and buy it, Love." Emma recited calmly as Darion told her his reasoning. At the same time, she felt his grip around her tighten. "Hug me as tightly as you want, just remember that a human neck isn't really that strong. How can I reach that beautiful face of yours if my head falls on the floor?" Yet she said it with that empty smile of hers on her face. Emma finally looked at Darion after looking as if she'd had her neck broken or something from the unexpected hug. "Oh, you've been here before...?" That wasn't surprising. The probability demanded that him having been wandering this jungle for so long would end with him meeting Arete some time.

I was saving a life from Yajuu. " Darion would then look over Arete's shoulder and look around for Dimitri. "Speaking of which. Where is Dimitri, I wanted to make sure he was okay....Oh right, I forgot..." He would say as he looked at the back of Arete's neck and grin like a wild man. Such a plump piece of meat, he could almost hear the blood pumping through his veins, this almost made him start drooling."I we never met..." He would say as he swallowed the built up saliva in his mouth as he stepped back. He would smile slightly and throw his arm around Emma's waist. "Im Darion, Emma's fiancee. " He would quickly kiss Emma on the cheek,
