"If they're looking for a hunting spot, they can go to the forest." Colette said. "There are alot of monsters there." She glanced over to Oro after he spoke. "We can help you out if you want us to."

"Thank you Sir Cinkel," Lelia smiled and nodded to the man before pondering what Oro and the Chosen had said and lighting up. "Actually that'd be a rather splendid opportunity. I've tested my gauntlets in a laboratory setting and got into a few tight spots on the way here, but I've not really had the opportunity to test them in a real battle, mostly out of fear of getting myself into something I couldn't get out of again. Would you mind if I accompanied you as well? Just for a short time...I...really do need to be getting on my way, with the Chosen One and Sir Lloyd I hope."

"Aye, that's true. A slice o' toast to parties!" Jason raised his own glass and drank from it. Anyone walking by would probably mistake him for some sort of well-groomed hobo, but he didn't particularly care. "'Least we can fight boredom! All this talk is startin' to make me butt itch!"

Cinkel shrugged at Colette when she first spoke to him. Then, he smiled at Lelia when she did. "You could have always found a partner to test those out against. I would have been willing to if you asked. Regardless, I would love to see how they work myself." Cinkel looked down at Jason, leaning over a bit. "Hmm, that is probably because you are currently sitting on an insect bed." He looked down just behind Jason's rump at the many little insects running around in a craze.

"Whatthargenblargentphth!!" Jason leapt from the insect-infested area, then jumped about and flailed around trying to get insects off his posterior. "Why does nobody tell me this stuff?!"

(( Oh, is that a new dance, Jason? The Bug-a-loooooo? rofl He better hope and pray those weren't fire ants. rofl )) Colette smiled when she heard Lelia speak. "Myself and Lloyd were heading for the forest anyways. I don't mind having you all accompany us." She said with a smile. "And please, call me Colette." Her attention then turned to Jason when he yelled. "You alright, Jason?" o.o She asked.

Jason continued his frantic dance. "Aye, just have ants in me pants!" He spun in circles... "Mind yeh, I have ACTUAL ants in me ACTUAL pants!" He hoped and prayed that they weren't fire ants.

Schwarz looked at where his own buttocks was situated on the ground, luckily the bugs seemed to be not in his vicinity, "Wow, that's really unlucky for you." Oro looked at the sight of the dwarf and sighed, "No. I don't want to take you away your task for to long, and we don't know how long we'll be staying out of the village in the first place, but it has been quite enjoyable little chat I must say, hopefully it won't be our last." He turned away from the group and headed towards the village gate, "Come on Schwarz we're-" he cut his sentence short and turned and looked past the nearby mountains, his facial expression twisted into something between anger and fear, "WE'RE LEAVING NOW!" He didn't wait for an answer and ran out of the gate. Schwarz was already up, his almost infinite smile had disappeared "Ye-yeah," he looked at the group, "don't go dying on us okay? I wanna party hardy with y'all again." He ran after his twin, knowing full well what was entering the world. ~~ ((Don't know why, but I hear Kill Bill theme everytime I think of these two now. sweatdrop )) Over Lake Umacy A glowing gateway to the spirit world open up and out dropped two figures into the water below. A small band of mercenaries were spending the night by the waterside and were shocked at the sight. The two figures slowly made there way out of the water, "Gah, a lake. It just had to open up over a freakin' lake!" the man in red seemed angered and steam drying himself off. "Well it could have opened up over the sea or ocean, would you have preferred that?" The man in blue said in a monotone voice as he was flicking of little pellets of ice from his body. "You know I despise any body of water Rox!" he then noticed a familiar trace of energy somewhere else in the world, "Well I'll be damned!" he let out a hearty laugh. "Indeed unexpected. However do you want to 'warm up' so to speak Marv?" The blue man's eyes wandered over to the small group, who seemed to have surrounded the two. "Nah, not a warm up at all..." Marv looked at a single warrior and he burst into a flames and dropped to the ground screaming in agony. A slim sadistic smile appeared across Marv's face, "A BURNOUT IS MORE LIKE IT!!!" twisted The lakeside lit up like a candle and screams could be heard for several miles for a few minutes... no one came. ((*looks at my own writing* ... I've been rather dark lately with all the killing. First Celestial now here. sweatdrop ))

((Now that song's gonna be stuck in my head. When I hear that song, it makes me think some kick-butt character is making a scene. xd All that's missing is a "DING SPARKLE SPARKLE" xd ))
Colette's attention turned from Jason to Oro when she saw him head toward the village gate. She was about to speak until Oro had yelled to Schwarz that they were leaving. His tone of voice had her become not only concerned, but uneasy as well. She would look over to Schwarz as he was following after Oro. "Wait!" She called out. She didn't know what was going on, but curiosity was getting the better of her. She unleashed her wings and attempted to follow after the brothers by air.

Finally getting all the bugs off, Jason looked at the departing Schwarz and Oro. "See ya! Party on! Little grim, weren't they?" He rubbed his beard and closed his eyes in a pondering expression. He then opened them once more. "What's goin' on, anyway? Some sort of beer shortage? Mayhaps old Colette is tryin' to go fetch us some! Good lass! Knew I could count on her!"

Zaul looked over at Cleo again and just smirked. "Whoa there, now. I was not. I just thought someone as stuck-up as you would have refined tastes. Y'know, dishes that don't necessarily have a lot, but are expensive. But that's a relief ta know, eheheh." Then he looked back to the young man and nodded. smile "Right back at'cha, ki---Emil. S'cuse me, force o' habit."
After a pause, another subject came to mind. "So where were y'headed off to? Were ya startin' yer quest already? I'd think it's a little late---"
He was interrupted by the sounds of the screaming from Lake Umacy. And then...an eerie silence followed. The blaze that Marv set was so big that its glow could be seen all the way from Luin, too. Zaul turned his gaze in its direction, his expression turning into concern.
"...Whoa! Whaddya suppose is goin' on there? Sounded like people were gettin' seriously hurt...I think we should check it out!"

Emil scratched the back of his head. "Well...We're not sure where to go actually." ^.^; It was then he had noticed the glow coming from Lake Umacy, his green eyes widening at the sight. He was about to speak, but Zaul had already took the words from his mouth. He would glance over to Zaul and nod to him in agreement. "I agree. I wonder if this might be a clue as to why alot of people have been disappearing." He began to make his way out of town.

The pair took off so fast that Lelia had no chance to return the farewell, but it seemed like she wasn't going to be worrying about that anyway. The Chosen picks one thing to be perceptive about and it's fear...She put her face in her hands and glanced at the dwarf. "No, she's going after those two..." The scientist's eyes widened. "And they started running just before that smoke cloud popped up. The question is, are they running away from it or towards?"
The blonde sighed heavily. "One way or another, I suppose to get the help I need I'll be going after her." And with speed surprising for one who'd spent most of her life indoors, she took off after Colette.

Jason swung his fist nowhere in particular in disappointment. "Agh, no beer fer the wicked, or however the sayin' goes... Eh? What now?" He glanced at the running Lelia, then at the village, then back at Lelia. "Meh, whatever." He ran along after her on his small legs.

Cleo continued to look at Zaul. "I'm a vegetarian. A lot of these 'fancy foods' usually have some sort of meat, so there." She crossed her arms just as the flames light could be seen. At this, she looked at Zaul and Emil then took off running in the direction of the glow without a second glance or a word.

Cinkel rubbed his chin in interest. "Well, I suppose I have nothing better to do. I guess I could come and see what happens. Sir Oro did looked kinda hysteric. Hm." He shrugged and followed behind the others.
