Omega Cafeteria Cafeteria...AKA Grand Central Station. Megan was hip deep, so to speak, in her pizza so when Lorelle came over and introduced herself to the group the best she could get out of Megan was a muffled grunt and a nod as the clawed mutant quickly swallowed what she had in her mouth and set her slice of pizza down. ”Hello.” She said finally snagging one of her napkins and wiping some of the grease off the tips of her claws before snagging a fry or two from her pile of them and munching those down her mouth still burning from the hot sauce she had dumped on her pizza. She glanced at Christian when he mentioned his abilities and his use of guns. ”As long as you have a license for that weapon sir and you’re not legally blind.” A career as a DJ? Megan didn’t get it for about a second. Then she got it and laughed. ”Scratching records has a whole new meaning when I’m doing the scratching.” She said and fished up her pizza to start finishing it. Did Megan bite? No but she could scratch like nothing else and she would have said that but she felt the jokes may be wearing a touch thin so she took another bite of her pizza to keep that to herself. When Jacen came over Megan waved her free hand before taking the final bite of her pizza and quietly mourning it’s loss. Pizza was the magical food group. ”Ello!” She said after swallowing. Well she had her fries left and with that she dumped the remainder of her hot sauce on them and snagged a few. When Kerrigan asked what they were going to be doing later on she shrugged. ”not much really. I have to file my nails is about all.” Besides filing down her nails since they had a training session in the planning. The last thing she wanted to happen during that training mission was to have a nail snap off. First off it was painful and secondly it was kind of embarrassing after all she was expected to keep herself ready to move in case of an emergency of a surprise training session. ”Why did you want to do something?” She asked.

━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━ Team ↠ AlphaxxLocation ↠ Test Thread Eli listened to Roland as he explained his abilities. It was quite interesting, and an ability that increased metabolism. This guy must eat a lot of carbs and enough for a whole village in Africa. What caught Eli's interest was when he was asked about his abilities.
"Well, I haven't really aimed to use them defensively... or, even thought about it. I haven't gone into heavy combat. I've really just have done training in the danger room. But, I would like to hear what you've got as per ideas with my power. I always like experiments." Eli said, remembering the countless experiments he's done since he was able to move freely after his coma.
Eli's eyebrow raised slightly at the mention of Roland's hypothesis. "Now, I'm my science focus isn't in the biological section, mainly just physics, both regular and quantum. Do explain please." Eli said, reaching for a seat and sitting down, his ears listening intently to Roland. ━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━ Can you take me higher, to a place where blind men see Can you take me higher, to a place with golden streets OOC ↠ Higher - Creed

ALPHA:Outside near the lake. : Gideon voice of reason? what? Gideon just listened to the stream of words coming out of her mouth. Years of being together had given him a good grasp on the Spanish language. Sure before they met he had a passable understanding enough to get by if needed. Nope now he knew all the words she was spouting out. He just let her rant say anything she needed he could respond when she seemed more inclined to actually listen. She could hit him all she wanted he didn't mind it better her get some frustration out on him then the possible alternative. Then Narcissa's comment came over his comm and he just rolled his eyes and ignored it. He didn't stop her for fear of Bella getting hurt nor Cissa. No it was to prevent harm to those near by never mind the destruction of the library and probably all rooms connecting to it. He knew when her questioning went from Spanish back to English her temper was slowly ever so slowly edging away. Well at least enough to probably listen to what he had to say. "I didn't prevent you from going in there to defend her." He said flat out. "Yes I heard what she said. That's how I knew to stop you outside the library." He said as they got closer to the lake. He ignored the bit about her not getting into trouble thing. He knew very well that she had Summers wrapped all around her little finger. "I know you can. And honestly you could beat her in a fight when your head is on straight." He was so glad she didn't run off when he put her down and let her go. He couldn't stop her at that point if she did. Then she of course threw them both being killers as a reason for their understanding. And it really wasn't the honestly he was sure the only reason she didn't out right hate him like others was thanks to what happened in Avalon. He could feel his own temper rising while no matter how mad he got he would never harm her. She was the only one who could make him blow his top and not get harmed in any way. "The fact that we both have taken life are lethal or any of that doesn't even have an effect on this right here right now. I tried to help her back in Catalina to maybe let go of some of that hate. It obviously didn't work." He said honestly he truly didn't understand what it was with Cissa hell he didn't even know really what started it all between Bella his love and the blond omega leader. "You know what your right go. Have your confrontation with Cissa. I won't stop you." He said now turning his back to her. He couldn't stop her now even if he wanted to. "You have the ability to beat her. There really isn't a doubt in my mind about that. So go fight. Just be willing to deal with the repercussions of what happens. Never mind that the library contained more then just Cissa in it. But who cares about the collateral damage that would be done. The others that will be hurt or killed thanks to a stray power blast from you or Cissa." He said angrily. He sighed heavily calming himself down after his out burst. "I didn't stop you to protect either you or Cissa from physical harm. I love you mi reina but I know you can hold your own. I just didn't want you to confront her all pissed off. How would you feel if after putting her in her place to learn that other students were hurt or worse thanks to the brawl between you and Cissa?" His hair clung to his face till he bowed his head slightly to look at the ground as water poured all around and dripped from his soaked form. "If you really need to fight her get her to met you down in the danger room. And you two can go at it till one or neither of you can stand. There at least no matter how intense it gets only that room and yourselves will come to harm." Gideon knew taking a life was not an easy thing. He was unfortunately used to it. But what others didn't know was that the ones inadvertently hurt because of your actions hurt worse. And Gideon didn't hurt anyone in the New York nor Genosha attacks years ago. But his last mission for Hydra was the one that sent Magneto over the edge which brought about the New York disaster and the retaliation on Genosha. That fact is only known to those that happened to be there when Hydra showed up years ago in an attempt to reclaim him. Which as far as current team set ups was really only Bella on the Alpha's, along with Cissa, Kerrigan and Lillian on the Omega's. Other then that it wasn't put into record nor was it spoken of really since which he was thankful for. The whole having to calm her down was odd normally it was her calming him down to prevent him from hurting someone not the other way around.

Another gorgeous lady came to Dimitri just when Tara was going over the options that they could play for. She was a bit shorter than his geokinetic partner but was digging her eyes; especially her hair color. She was on the alpha's right? As for the options it would be a lie if Dimitri said he wasn't intrested in playing strip poker. However the Playboy knew that the strip poker idea would get shut down.
Not to mention it was still daylight. A bit of rain, but it was still daytime. That was unless Tara and the newcomer were just kinky like that. Dimitri then had no problem getting into his bedroom clothing of just underwear. If anyone asked, he could say his powers burned them. Or that he had the best time playing strip poker and teasing the ladies with his body.
"Hey there." he told the newcomer, giving her a smile before he went back to Tara.
"We can do the third option next time." he told Tara, confident that they'll hang out again. That, she more than likely would have guessed when he said that. But we'll start off small and play for lunch. whoever wins gets to choose which loser has to buy them lunch. Makes sense?"(not my usual work sad and sry bout wait)

"Well I've only seen it once, and this was a telekinetic so it may be a little different." he started, sharing his idea for Eli's defense "But the guy was able to lift and manipulate a circular shield about the size of a large platter in a highly defensive manner all around his body. I had to break the shield before I could get any closer to him." that was one hell of a fight, Roland would attempt a slash he'd block, a thrust would be met with his arm being smacked down, and a charge would result in being bashed along side the head. Hell of a fight, and Roland ended it the best way he could: smashed the shield and went straight in for the kill.
"I don't exactly know if you have any weight limitations, but if you could start practicing using a piece of metal, or even a metal rod, you can have a piece of armor you yourself wouldn't even have to touch."
When he then asked to hear Roland's theory on acupuncture, he was more than ready to explain, "Well, acupuncture is an ancient art going back thousands of years involving the manipulation of pressure points and nerve endings. On humans it's been shown to help with a variety of ailments, and even induce calm in some depending on which points are accessed." continuing, "My theory is, while these effects happen to humans: who can say the same thing can happen for mutants? Some have completely different chemical or neurological make up that can make the results that much more interesting. A manipulator of electricity is most likely going to use his or her nervous system as a way to generate and harness the power they have. I believe that it may be possible to increase and heighten the strength and level of control one can have over their abilities, possibly unlocking aspects of their powers they didn't even think of before."
It seemed a little of the mad-science type, but Roland thought this over a million times, "I've been doing the research into the subject, only thing I haven't done is physically do acupuncture on a mutant. Partially because I'm afraid of what might happen. If I overclocked someone's ability with no way to bring in the reins, things wouldn't end to well. I hope to be able to conduct an experiment under Dr. McCoy's watchful eye, with him able to intervene if something goes wrong." Hopefully this was good enough of a theory, after all the guy stated he was more of a physics person, which is interesting in and that of itself.
Hopefully this idea would work, the idea of increasing someone's power levels, and even control over their powers could prove invaluable for inexperienced mutants.

Name: Alexandria Blythe Ability: Aerokinesis Team: Alpha Location: Game Room Current: Gearing up for a card showdown "Hi, Tara," the purple tressed aerokinetic said to the girl after she had introduced herself. "Hi, Dimitri," she offered briefly. She pulled a seat out from the table and sat herself down, legs crossed underneath her. "I'm Alexandria," she said, a smile perched over he lips, "Or Lexi. Whichever you prefer." When Lexi had approached the pair, Tara had mentioned they were going to be immersing themselves in a game of poker. Texas Hold 'Em to be precise. If at all possible, Lexi's smile grew bigger and brighter.
Did Lexi know how to play? Of course she did. How many times did she play late night games with her friends back home? That was how she came about having her now ever-present lip piercing. She'd lost a game of poker, the stipulation being that the loser was to get either a piercing or tattoo in a location of the winner's choice. Thankfully, the winner that day had chosen her lip and nowhere else...
"Do ah know to play? Sweetie, ah'm from Texas mahself," Alexandria said before laughing a bit. Almost immediately, she cleared her throat to regain her composure momentarily. For the most part, Lexi hated letting her natural accent slip out, always taking care to speak clearly and concisely. She was always against people pegging her as a mere South Texas redneck, but in this case... "Sorry about that," Alexandria said rather meekly, her face growing a faint shade of red in embarrassment. Not only was she embarrassed about letting her accent slip, but she could just tell that Dimitri was scoping her out. Not that she didn't do the same, as brief as it was, when she approached the table.
"This may seem like a dumb question," Lexi said, her words trailing off slightly, "But are you two... on the Alphas?" After asking that, she nervously started to twist a lock of hair around her forefinger. Lexi was never one to pay attention to gossip at all, but when she was heading towards the game room, it was hard to ignore some of the comments floating around the halls. Being on the Omegas seemed like it be Hellish, especially having to serve under Narcissa. In the back of her mind, she thanked God that she was going to have Isabella as her leader.
She let the question hang there momentarily until Dimitri set the the game's stipulation. Loser buying lunch was completely agreeable... and a lot less painful and embarrassing. "Sounds good to me," Lexi said, her eyes shifting from Dimitri to Tara, "My only question is... high or low card gets the first deal?"

Omega - Cafeteria - Actually Hanging Out With Omegas? And Enjoying It? Has The World Ended?
Christian scooted over slightly when the newest of the new call-ups, Lorelle, took a seat at the table. She remarked back at his poor attempt at a joke, that she would bite back hard as well. "Aww... that's a shame," he fired off rather quickly with a chuckle soon following. He wasn't a stranger to being bitten, the oddly misshapen and discolored scar on his left hand being a glaring testament to that.
As he was taking a drink from his last juice bottle, he saw Jacen walking towards their table, joining the Omega menagerie. "Hey, what's goin' on? Haven't seen you in a minute," Christian said, referring to Jacen's surprise appearance in the kitchen while the Northwesterner was finishing his breakfast.
All in all, it was good to have this downtime with the teammates both new and old. Kicking back, Christian folded his hands behind his head and just stretched out, taking care to not accidentally kick anyone in the process. "Pleasure to meet ya, Lorelle," he said to the newest of the group after she'd spoken up and introduced herself.
While he was kicked back, he noticed Kerri wink his direction yet again. "What's the matter? Got somethin' in your eye, ma'am?" A grin crept over his face, hoping to show his senior on the team that he was just taking a miniscule jab at her. "Think I got some Visine up in my room... if'n you need it."
Still grinning like a goof, his attentions were diverted towards Megan who'd spoke up briefly in the midst of her pizza scarfing session. "Yessum," Christian replied, "Licensed since thirteen, card-carrying member of the NRA, and I can assure ya, I ain't blind at all." He had a hearty laugh though when she quipped back at his joke. It was a good thing to know that despite what limitations they had with their abilities, the could still have a sense of humor about it.
Lorelle was the first to speak up when Kerri asked what it was the others had in store for the rest of the day, mentioning she was planning on going to the mall. When he heard that, his mind wandered to what it was he had seen on the television earlier, thinking about all the political pundits stirring up random anti-mutant rhetoric. The fact that there were a gaggle of protestors shown all over the news and the proverbial 'torch-bearing mob' being featured did nothing to ease whatever worries were on his mind.
Christian couldn't help but to feel a tiny bit uneasy about Lorelle wanting to go to the mall, but he hesitated in speaking up. All he could do was shift his eyes over towards Kerri, hoping that that she'd pick up the hint. When the all of the new recruits were gone, he'd definitely have to inform her of what he saw on the television, especially if some of the newest of the 'flock' were wanting to go out by their lonesome. As it stood, he himself was hesitant to leave the school grounds and only would if he absolutely had to. Right now, he had no reason to leave.
"I've got nothin' on the docket today," Christian said, answering Kerri's question, "Unless y'all don't mind me gettin' a bit of target practice done in the Danger Room." His gaze didn't wander too far from Kerri's and even with his hands behind his head, he managed a very small shrug. The past couple of weeks had been relatively quiet for him, mostly cause he hadn't seen hide nor hair of Sophia around the grounds at all. Christian knew why though, the poor girl was completely shaken to her core after the excursion in the Nightmare world and wanted to go home for a bit. He couldn't blame her in the slightest for that; some days he wanted to go home himself to reconnect with his family, to recharge his batteries. In the back of his mind though, he knew he couldn't for some reason. He felt somewhat obligated to stick around the institute. He'd no doubt kick himself rather hard in the a** if a situation had arisen and he was stuck on the Left Coast with his family.
"Or, if any of y'all need help movin' stuff, I'm a decent excuse for a pack mule." Christian's gaze darted away from Kerri's and around the group of new recruits and even Daylia and Jacen. If they needed it, he'd help. If not, he'd catch an oh so glorious nap.

Daylia Astralloxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx
Team Omegaxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx
Location: Mess Hall, daw, my cupcake is gone. xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx Daylia listened to the idle chit chat, not really feeling up to adding much of her own to the conversation. Two more people joined them, another new person and Jacen. The group was growing ever larger. "Hey." She managed to say to both new arrivals. And she now managed to catch each name of the new new ones as Kerrigan introduced everyone. She worried slightly about the newest addition to their table. She seemed shy and awkward. Idly she wondered if she would cut it under Narcissa. Hopefully the girl didn't cry easily. That would not be a pleasant sight for anyone to see.
Again Daylia went back to listening. Everyone seemed to be giving Kerrigan an answer as to what they were doing later that evening. Lorelle said she wanted to go to the mall. Daylia contemplated that for a moment as she dropped her half eaten burger back to her tray and opted for the lemon jello. It had been quite some time since she had been to the mall herself, but today didn't feel like a good day to go. "Hey, if you do go to the mall, try not to go at it alone. I've been hearing some odd things." She had gotten a phone call from her exroom mate early this morning. Daylia had been half a sleep at the time, but it was a warning about something. She gave a slight shrug as she took a spoon full of jello.
Others at the table offered up their plans. Megan said something about filing her nails, Christian said something about offering his help in moving the new kids in. Personally, Daylia felt a nap was in order. "Meh, I feel like bumming it today, so I'll probably go back to bed myself. I have nothing better planned." She said with a slight yawn. She impossible wouldn't sleep, but just laying in bed sounded wonderful.
Daylia scraped the rest of the jello into her mouth before starting on the second cup. She wondered if going back to bed was really going to work. It never seemed to work in the past, something had always come up, and then on the days she wanted to just lay around and didn't let herself there was nothing. Oh the cruelty of the world. ""

Alpha - Music Room - Encore, you say? As Raine's song ended, she jumped slightly at the sound of quiet applause. It was almost as if she forgot that there were other people in the room, Raine's cheeks turning a light shade of pink a she saw it was coming from Robert. He asked if she ever thought of playing professionally, a laugh escaping her. She shook her head, brunette hair covering her blush as she rested her head against the neck of her instrument. " Oh, heavens no. I'm nowhere near good enough to play professionally, but thank you. That's the sweetest thing I've heard in a long time," she said with another soft laugh, giving him a bright smile. Considering how the day had turned out in the library, she was glad that she was in good company who didn't think she was the scum of the earth for no apparent reason. At least the new Alphas seemed nice enough - they would all get along very well. Not that getting along was ever a problem for the Alphas. At least since she had been at the Academy, there were hardly any problems involving Alpha-on-Alpha violence. That had to say something about the teams, as if there wasn't enough to indicate that they were drastically different from the Omegas. " So, Rob. Do you play an instrument? Or, I guess what I'm asking is what you do for fun. You know, hobby wise." God, she was coming off as inarticulate. But, she was curious as to what his talents were, since they all had at least one. And considering no one else seemed shy about showing off their musical talent in this setting, but he had not yet taken part, she was willing to venture a guess that music was not one of his hobbies. At least not in the same way.

Omega: Cafeteria - Figuring Out the Next Move Kerrigan grinned at Lorelle's response to Christian, glad to see that the girl had a sense of humor. As the girl introduced herself to the group, Kerrigan committed her name to memory, giving a smile as she confirmed that she was just promoted to the Omegas just a little bit prior. Jacen then joined them, Kerrigan giving him a smile and a wave. " Well, hi Jacen! Sorry, I didn't see you there," she spoke pleasantly, always glad to see one of the veterans on the team out and about. Christian asked if she had something in her eyes, Kerrigan chuckling and tossing her hair over her shoulder as he offered her some Visene. " Oh, ha ha. That's so funny, I forgot to laugh," she quipped, actually chuckling at the end of her speaking as she turned her attention to the rest of the table. The others started to go through their plans for the afternoon, Kerrigan undecided as to where she was going to end up. Some were thinking of going to the mall, that prospect making Kerrigan a little nervous considering the rumors she'd been hearing. Of course, she hadn't had time to verify them with her own trolling of the news stations and web sites, but none of what she had been hearing was surprising. There was a storm on the horizon, no doubt about it. She caught sight of Christian's glance, understanding exactly what he was trying to imply. However, for now she would say nothing, in the hopes that others would want to go with her so that they would be in a group, or that they would all decide to do something else instead. Thankfully, Daylia spoke where the rest of them had chosen to remain silent, Kerrigan giving her fellow redhead a nod to signify her approval. Megan was in for an afternoon of nail care which was to be expected considering the girl's powers. The girl asked if Kerrigan asked because she had plans, Kerrigan giving a quick shake of her crimson locks to show that she was just asking for informational purposes. " Nope, no plans here. I was just wondering if anyone was doing anything interesting. It's catching up on homework unless I get a better offer," she said simply, glancing around the table as if begging them to provide her with an alternative. While her classes were interesting because of their implications for her power and her suit, a girl could only take so much mental strain over Spring Break. Wasn't this the time for them to let their hair down and get a little dirty? Find some rest and relaxation? Of course, Kerri had never been good at the whole relaxation thing, but she'd been trying a lot harder lately to mingle more than spending all her time with Cissa or in the gym. So far, it was working out well. Though she had to admit that she prospect of spending some time in the danger room was the most interesting of the offers so far. " Well, Lorelle, if you can't find anyone to go with you, I'll go. Though, I have to admit that I wouldn't mind some target practice. That is, if someone doesn't mind the company," she said simply, eyes darting between the group. She was enjoying hanging out with everyone, though sitting too long in one place made her antsy.

Aurelie Nissleyxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx [Team: Alpha ]xxxxxxxxxxx | Telekinetic | Mall, with Leo | Lady Gaga's Monsterball sounds appropriate right now. | ▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇xxx▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇xxx▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇ xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx
xxxxxx Aurelie's eyebrows raised a notch when Leo made himself sound self-assured. “Oh really now, I'd venture to guess you're one of those guys that's always right then?” She asked, teasing. Like him, her cerulean eyes followed to the group of jerks, the smile Leo had brought quickly pulling downward, marring any happy expression that would have otherwise been there. “Freakish?” She bit back angrily, though it was still just a rolling thunder... quiet out of necessity.
She stopped eating entirely as she watched, in horror how the scene would unfold. The rambunctious group of boys seemed hell bent on making the poetic boy miserable, making jibes at his expense, picking on him.. in a way that reminded Aurelie of the stereotypical, schoolyard bully out for your lunch money. As they continued, that thought was only confirmed. Leo stood as they tore the book from the boy's hands, and she was quick to follow, not about to watch someone be so harshly criticized in a public forum.
It was too late by the time they had sauntered over to the group to stop the inevitable. Selfishly, for their own kicks... they'd outted the boy as a mutant. Stirring up trouble for no reason other than their ignorant prejudice. Silently Aurelie cursed the boys, hoping well and good that Karma would come to bite them in the a** – sooner rather than later. She praised the boy for defending himself, when he was so outnumbered, and obviously not made for fighting.
The ringleader swung, no doubt able to deliver a blow that could break the boy's jaw, but Leo's hand grappled at his wrist before the fist collided with Aquaboy's face. He did a solid move, slamming the guy's face against his knee; the crunch of cartilage enough that under any other circumstance, she might have been sick. He took out the next one with the same amount of ease, a note that didn't go unappreciated from the telekinetic's viewpoint.
But the winning ended there, Aurelie's azure eyes falling to the crowd when the two pumped up for a riot. You've... got to be kidding me. As the others in the busy mall started to circle them, Aurelie manifested a telekinetic shield. “Leo... We're going to have issues pretty soon.” Obvious, yes... but she backed up towards the boy, picking up his book and handing it back to him.
“I'll have you know...” Aurelie glared, mouth set with her ire when she looked at the two that were rallying for support. “That most women like a guy sensitive enough to appreciate poetry.” True. Because Mister Machos tended to have skulls filled with rocks. And... guys that had a sense for artistic appreciation were often more compatible for women, including herself – her short list of boyfriends had all been into the arts – students like her at Julliard.
With that, Aurelie turned on her comm, linking herself to Bella. “Sometimes... going in pairs isn't enough. Leo and I are at the mall... and by the looks of things... we are going to need some help.” She'd explain the entire situation when the others got here. If they came.
With a wave of her hand, she pushed the pair of boys further so that they'd reach the end of it with ease. She twisted them upright when they were about to crash, holding a finger to her temple to force her concentration.
People were stirring, their eyes darting back between Leo and Aquaboy, and herself. “They're monsters!” One of the original gang members spoke up, a finger in the air. The word made her cringe visibly... if only for a second before her eyes narrowed to nothing but slits. “We're the monsters?” She repeated disgustedly. “WHen it was you and your neanderthals that caused this mess. Picking on someone because he wasn't on par with your sense of fashion, because you had reason to suspect... that he was what you so affectionately call a 'mutie.'” Her fury only caused her voice to raise a little, the tone of her words crisp, cool.
“He wasn't bothering you.” So who was the monster now? Those just trying to survive... with a mutation none of them asked for, or the belligerent jerks that judged them for that which they couldn't control.
Even as she said that though, someone came from behind her, grasping her squarely at her shoulders, pulling her hands behind her back. “Seems you're causing a scene, missy.” He said, pulling on her, backing her away from what was fast becoming a swarm of angry, prejudiced people.
On one hand, she should have been grateful... the guy was separating her from the mob. On the other hand... she was pretty sure she was getting arrested, and there were several other cops ready to do the same thing to Leo and the poetry kid. She wasn't the bad guy here... those guys were. “They started it. If you're going to arrest me... then they need the same treatment done unto them.” She said flatly, not resisting because it'd just look worse for the mutant world if she did.
“They're just protecting the human race from creeps like you.” He snarled, happy to leave the gang of douchebags alone. “You don't belong amongst society; I hope you rot.” A good cop would have stopped the man who had approached. A good cop would have protected a girl, even if she was in trouble. No scratch that... a good person would have done so. But the world as it was didn't hold too many good people any more.
And so she could only brace herself before a hard fist collided with her jaw – it'd definitely bruise later. “Take that, freak.” The good thing was, with the nature of Aurelie's powers, she didn't need control of her hands... and the guy sailed back into a wall, crashing with a resounding thud before he fell limp on the floor.
“Take that... a*****e.” She countered, her tone just a tad malicious now.
Slowly, the blond closed her eyes, focusing now on creating a shield, so that no more attackers could get to her. “You going to take to the holding area, or not... because I'd rather not have a hundred assault charges on my record for defending myself.”
He snorted, but adhered to her words, leading her from the fight for now... jostling her around without care that the angle which her arms were in hurt, and that people just didn't bend that way. “Bella... I hope you get here soon...”
Leo and the poetry boy weren't here yet... which made her hope that they'd at least gotten past the crowd. Here was hoping. ▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇xxx▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇xxx▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇

Team Alpha's Moonlight Name: Tsukino Kazuki Ability: Barrier Creation Location: Music Room Thoughts: So Hungry and ready to for something amazing to happen.. Tsukino watched as Raine passionately played her Cello. The beautiful sounds entered her ear and she smiled as the incredible sounds entered her ears. She looked over at a quite Varis who hadnt said a word for a while now and then looked at Rob who was really into the the girl's playing. She wondered how a person could be so into the sounds of music and dislike singing. To her instruments sounded like voices in a metaphorical sense. She had to admit though, the music from Raine's chello were incredible.
Tsukino clapped and gave a warm smile to Raine as she finished.Tsukino then turned around and began to gather her sheet Music. She felt so out of place here at the Academy. She just never seemed to fit in.For what reason, she didnt know. She was a nice as she could be to everyone, she helped when she could, and was always compassionate.Tsukino was ready to go back and visit her family back in Japan. At least there she would feel safe and loved. As she started putting her music back in the container, she noticed a piece of music for a Duet.It was I've had the Time my Life. Tsukino had wanted to sing this song but it didnt sound all the great unless you had a male partner. She looked at Varis before placing the music in the folder and closing it.
She stood and placed her chair back in it's original place.Tsukino then turned on her heels to face everyone. She smiled as she began to speak but then stopped herself before she released the words. She decided to just speak to Varis since Raine and Rob were currently in a conversation, and she didnt want to give them a reason to think she was rude. She walked over to Varis, her heels clicking as she did,she began to speak.
She thought of how to ask him this before she spoke."Umm...Varis,could you possibly sing a Duet with me?"She asked Him politely.

Omega – Cafeteria – Looking for troubleThe girl with claws for hands said hello, and Jacen waved back. cocking his to one side as he examined the new omega’s mutation. It made him realize how there were pretty much no students on the junior teams with blatantly obvious mutations. Yet another unimportant oddity of this school he noticed. “’Ello’ to you too.” He said, smiling warmly as Megan inhaled her food. Nice to see a Mainlander who would eat more than a salad. “I’m stealthy like that.” He said in response to Kerri, the actual seriousness of the statement made him chuckle. Jacen hopped onto the bench, sitting Indian-style (No offense intended Aren) while Christian and Daylia managed to voice their own greetings before answering Kerrigan’s query into their schedules. “Moving? Sleeping? That doesn’t sound like much fun.” He said, a frown forming at the idea of boring activities. Granted, rest and relaxation never stayed boring here. “Odd things at the mall? That sounds fun.” He said, perking up at Daylia’s comment on strangeness occurring there. He waved to the newnew omega, Lorelle. “Oh yea, I’m Jacen Reilly by the way. Kraken in the field.” He said to all gathered. (I hate my posts)

Alpha - Cafeteria // Game Room - #Winning? Alexandria introduced herself, Tara smiling at her pleasantly as he committed the girl's name to memory. Of course, with hair like that, it shouldn't be too hard to remember. As the girl then said that she knew how to play Texas Hold'em, because she was from Texas, Tara chuckled slightly, raising an eyebrow slightly at the girl's sudden appearance of an accent. It seemed like letter her true accent slip through caused the girl to become embarrassed, something that Tara could understand. Of course, when she apologize, Tara simply waved her hand is if doing so were stupid. Because it was. " Oh come on now, apologizing for having accent is just ridiculous. Besides…Texans can be hot," she said with what she hoped was a reassuring wink, noting how red the girl's cheeks were getting. Hopefully she would get over that pretty quickly, otherwise this game was going to be awkward considering her and Dimitri's personalities. Of course, then the topic of conversation changed, Tara giving a curt nod when she was asked if they were both Alphas. " That would be an affirmative. You lucked out," she said simply, giving a small smile that left the question open as to whether she was joking or not. Personally, she didn't care what team she had been put on - then again, she'd only really been on one "mission" with the Alphas, and that was because they were thrown into a nightmare world and turned into creatures that gave kids nightmares on a regular basis. Shoot, it gave most of them nightmares still, and most if not all of them were considered legal adults. Not to mention, from what she'd heard about the teams before she was promoted they had been in worse spots that Halloween Town and seen some pretty disturbing things. Demons came to mind, but most of what she'd heard about that were rumors. Tara pretended to pout as Dimitri didn't seem interested in betting something actually interesting this time around. Instead, he decided it would be best to wager something simple like lunch, Tara nodding to show her approval, then turning back to Lexi as she asked if high or low card would get first deal. " High," she said simply, not wanting to waste time discussing it really. Upon looking at all the cards, she passed the deck to Lexi to deal out first, the geokinetic clapping her hands together and rubbing them together as she got ready to play some cards. " Alright Texas gal, let's get this party started," she said with a grin towards the girl, tucking a loose strand of hair behind her ears as she leaned forward ever so slightly in her chair, waiting for the deal. Now that it was time to get down to it, she was ready for a free lunch -- bring it on.

Omega Ability: Psychic Laceration Location: Library- Danger zoooone. Feigning bewilderment at his best friend, the Slovene angled his face leftward, brows rising a touch…before inevitably, a playfully sardonic lilt took hold of his lips, ”You never asked. Dealers don’t usually give their drugs out for free, you know.” Huh, Dorrito dealer; seemed an appropriate title.
Set phasers to Narcissa again—what the hell was a ponce, anyway? Deductive reasoning managed to supplement the lack of knowledge, and Dom narrowed his eyes at her in jest, ”And it’s that or losing my foot, right?” He forced a sigh, acting for a moment like he was actually weighing the options, before the scarecrow subject came to light again…and in a way that would have had him choking on his coffee, had he had any handy. Eyes widening, the Slovene settled for choked laughter instead…but there it was again anyway; a little tinge of rouge.
Which sobered when she spilled the word ‘eunich’ into the conversation, ”Jezus Krist-Uh…yeah…I’ll pass on that one, thanks.” Another sigh, coupled with man’s olive eyes rolling heavenward for a moment when she moved the hair from his eyes, ”True—although you didn’t manage to rattle the brain that, according to Oz, I wasn’t even supposed to have.”
Being able to joke about it may well have been a sign of improvement at least. Needless to say, the last few weeks had found him in considerably low spirits, likely all too noticeable to those who cared to know him well enough to see past the stoic guises. Gasper had been on his a**—calling doctors he’d not seen in years, refilling multiple prescriptions which he had no real need for. No, his seizure disorder hadn’t sparked into life again. He’d not really expected it to…and he’d told him just that…
-His godfather had delivered a few meds meant to stave it off regardless. Damnit.
A chuckle caught in the Slovene’s throat when Narcissa spoke to Lillian through her comm, the young man’s eyes lightly rolling skyward for a moment, ”I hope you’re planning on excluding me from those activities—last I checked, it’d not be the good sort of threesome.”
”Very damn distracting, thanks.” He’d been going for a deadpan look at the woman, sure he’d keep the look level despite their proximity…but her use of name Sacagawea sort of killed all latter intentions, forcing the blonde’s expression to dissolve into one slightly more mirthful. For Aren, the look became a touch more abashed, ”What? You won’t teach me how to grow my own corn now? Well damn…” A pause, wherein the mutant flashed a toothy smile—kind of a rarity from him, but the scenario merited it, ”See? I at least paid some attention in my U.S. History class…proof that I don’t fail at everything.” ‘Some’ being the key word, of course. Cissa Finally opted to use a real chair, Dom letting out a small sigh of relief when she scooted away—all below his waist safe again. Granted, the algebra book wasn’t a very satisfactory replacement; his countenance spoke as such when he stared down at its cover…thinking with dread about all the neglected pages chalked with formulas which lay beneath its surface. Her final threat was a good push, to boot. Dominik switched his gaze between his two companions and sighed, ”Fine. You win.” Opening the book and grabbing a pencil, the Slovene finally gave way to a look of genuine discontent, ”Happy now?”
Someone should be, at least.
((OOC: Sorry this is so short and crappy D: ))
