Malcom lead the way into the attic. "watch your step..." Malcom hit the light switch. The attic was freezing cold but it didn't seem to bother Malcom. The attic was a regular torment chamber. Chains and whips hung from the wall,cages from the ceiling, red stains on the floor, a table by a small window held knifes and other sharp toys. A surgon's table was in the middle of the room,leather straps attached to the sides. "welcome to the play room Rio. My last pet named it that since he lived in here almost."

Rio smirked and replied, "I can see why you didn't want me or Kai coming up here... This place would've given Kai a heart attack... Just from seeing the chains." Then he lightly poked one of the sharp knives, "So what's my punishment master?"

"well you are only getting a small dose,so nothing to painful or that will kill you." Malcom went to the table by the window,looking through the million things on the table. Finally he found what he was looking for. "Rio,how long can you hold you breath?"

Rio shrugged and said, "Dunno... depends the circumstances. But for about 20 minutes... half an hour if I really tried hard enough." He smirked and said, "I'm used to having to hold my breath. I had an Inu master who was interested in forcing me and Kai into a gas chamber. Kai would pass out before me, then we would get out."

"well i have no gas chamber..." Malcom walked over and stuck a needle into Rio's arm. "in about 3 minutes you'll get alittle dizzy and your vision might change,but you'll be fine. " Malcom leaned against the wall and waited for drug to take effect

"Ow!" Rio didn't expect to have a needle stuck into his arm. He rubbed his arm and thought, What kinda punishment is this..? Then his vision started blurring. He shook his head, trying to see strait, but lost his balance. His head felt like it was spinning, and his sight was still blurry. He held onto a table to keep himself standing, "Wha-What did you put in me?" He asked, biting his lip, now having to concentrate hard on not falling over.

Malcom smiled. "Just something to relax you. don't worry you won't die from it;it just messes with your body and brain. Right now you are losing your sense of balance and vision." Malcom walked over to the wall and lowered one of the cages. "its been awhile since i done this,Rio. Almost forgot how much fun it was." He picked Rio up and put him in the cage. "you still awake Rio?" He locked the door.

Rio nodded, still dizzy, not able to see straight. "This is it? All your doing so far is screwing with my senses..."

"Messing with your senses is just part one." Malcom pushed a button the wall,a large water filled continer came up out the floor. "You see Rio when your senses are messed up your body easily panicks. But i'll let you see for yourself. try to hold your breath Rio." Malcom pressed another button. Rio's cage lowered into the continer,soon he was submerged under water. "try to hold your breath Rio,if your body will allow u."

At the last second Rio took a breath of air before his hole body was under water. He kept his eyes open and held his breath. He was still dizzy, so he let his body sink to the bottom of the cage and continued to hold his breath. He winced, fighting his body's urges to breath. What? It's usually easy to hold my breath... His hand held onto his throat as he felt water slipping through his mouth, he clamped his mouth down shut, and used his teeth to hold his lips shut. Then he felt water going up his nose. He tried his breath not to breath at all, but he still felt water getting into his body. He shut his eyes in frustration and tried harder not to let water into his body.

Malcom glanced at his watch. "you only been in there for 15 seconds Rio. Lets see if you can live through the next 20." Malcom leaned back and watched.

Rio looked at Malcom and smiled. I'm not giving up that easily Rio's eyes became black as he calmed his body. He held his breath a little easier now. He relaxed, knowing he would be able to hold his breath for longer, but felt himself using alot of energy.

Malcom waited. Rio was up to 25 seconds but he was being stuborrn by staying in. The drug was still coursing through his body. "Rio, ready to get out now?"

Rio opened one eye and looked at Malcom. He closed his eye back stubbornly and held his breath still. He saw small bubbles coming from his mouth as water started coming through his mouth and up his nose. Rio fought hard as he felt his body panicing from the water, and the drug in his body. He held onto his throat as he felt water going down his throat, but he still refused to give up. He gagged and accidently opened his mouth, letting loads of water go down his throat. He kept gagging until he gave up, looking at Malcom, letting him know he wanted out.

Malcom clicked the button and the cage lifted out the water. "you lasted almost a minute Rio. Not bad."
