Avery grinned, not taking offence at all. He assumed none of the scientists here would wear the type of clothes he does - and he thought it was an amusing image as well, even though he doesn't know what any of them look like. "It's okay!" he laughed. "I pretty much guessed they weren't, but they're the only ones I have left... man, if you can, you should get a picture and show me later... I'd love to see what he looks like - and in these clothes, too!" he said, laughing again. He folded up the clothes (as best he could) and he gave them to Awen. "There's no rush getting these back to me, luckily I was given a decent amount of clothes to last me around here."

Awen nodded a bit and took the clothes. "At least they're pretty decent about getting clothes to us." Waggling a finger at him she added, "You just have to go do the laundry more often you silly pup!"

A wolfish grin crossed the fish's face. "And don't worry I am so going to get a picture of this if I can. Thank you so much for the loan Avery. They'll probably get back to you... once this Aubrey business is resolved."

"Silly pup!?" Avery chuckled, but he didn't seem to mind the nickname as his tail wagged. "I usually do! I just got kinda... lazy," he laughed. "And hey, anything for a friend! I can't wait to see - and you should come visit more often - if you're not preoccupied with other things, I mean," Avery winked at her. "Tell Sabin I said hi."

A crimson colour once more wafted up to Awen's cheeks. "Of course not too busy Avery! Never for you!" She gave him a playful nudge. "But I don't know,m I've been hanging out in my room or the lake an aweful lot. I don't seem to actively seek too many people these days... Be it the ray or just situations... I don't know I suppose I don't get out too too often. I'll try to visit though..."

Avery just couldn't help himself - some people were just fun to make blush, especially when it was so easy to do. "No problem! I'll just try to visit you more often too, then - I'll drag you outside with me, we can hang out by the lake or wherever you like!" he put an arm around her shoulders and ruffled her hair playfully.

"Hey hey hey!" Awen said holding an arm up to 'block' the ruffling though it was obviously too late. "This mop has enough knots in it already ya know." Which was true, all of her time in the water Awen hardly bothered brushing it much at all anymore.

She wrapped the other arm around his waist and gave the man a soft squeeze. "Well you know, I'd love to hang out more too."

"Then it will be done! Life's more fun when you spend it with more people, after all! Besides," he smirked, "I think I still need to beat you in a game of Soul Calibur, yeah? We should hit up all the new games they got in sometime."

"You could always get pwned on my new xbox 360 you know." She grinned softly and started out. "But Sabin's probably long since cleaned up, so I should.. try to get back to him." She nodded to the clothes in her hand and snickered. "And give Sabin his temporary new clothes."

Avery laughed. "We'll see about that! But alright then, I wouldn't want you to keep Sabin waiting," he said with a slightly suggestive tone to his voice. "I'll see you later, Awen. I hope he likes the clothes," he said with a chuckle. "Bye!"

Awen just rolled her eyes this time. "Yeah, sure thing Avery." She shook her head slowly as she walked out. "See you later pup!" She was grinning when she walked out the door.

Attempted murder? What attempted murder? Sabin was staying in her duplex!

Avery Calder
Staying in his duplex was not working. Avery couldn't stop worrying about things, what was going to happen to him, what was going to happen to his friends, if the attacker was not caught. He wished he knew what to do, how to solve this whole damn stupid mess so nobody would get punished except for the guilty party. But he didn't know how.

So he decided to look for a distraction. He'd already been to most of the places around the Village, it seemed, but he explored anyway - maybe there was something he missed? - and indeed there was. He entered the workout room, looking at the different workout equipment. "Well, I guess I could use some exercise..." he shrugged a bit, sliding his fingers over his furred stomach that his short shirt showed off.

His eyes fell to the stereo system in the corner of the room - that caught Avery's attention, his ears perking up with interest. He grinned and walked over to the stereo and began to rummage through the CDs, looking for something that he might enjoy.

Vasile DiRossi
Vasile had suffered most of the morning, and well into the afternoon working off his hangover from his drinking binge from the night before. He was finally starting to feel better and figured getting out of his duplex would keep him from moping around his room all day.

He wanted to talk to Cass, but he knew it was too soon. He thought about the beach, but it was still more humid from the storm that would make it very pleasurable, so he deicided against that as well.

One thing had been weight very heavily on his mind since that night with Tim..that was for sure. He felt like his old self again in some ways. Though, with the obvious differences. ^^;

Vasile wandered to the village, thinking about the new workroom he remembered Ambrose mentioning. That wasn't a bad idea. God knows his figure would need some work. His chiseled abs had faded slightly, especially under his bellyfur. And from what -little- he knew about his new community, they were more picky and judemental than the most beautiful girls.

Plus god knows how many calories he had sucked in from the night before.

As he walked in, he noticed a figure going through the CDs. Immediately Vasile felt a smile come to his lips as he let himself look the guy over carefully, liking the fact that he didn't have to second-guess why he was looking. Trying to be non-chalant, Vasile peeled his shirt off his back as he approached a weight machine within eyeshot of blonde haired guy.

Avery Calder
Avery hadn't noticed the other man walk in right away, until he saw someone moving out of the corner of his eye. He looked up from the CDs at the fox man, eyebrows raising when he saw him. Well now, wasn't he an attractive one?

"Hey there! Hope you don't mind if I put on some music, do you?" he asked, letting his eyes quickly travel up and down the other man's body. He wondered when it was he had become used to seeing fur and not having it bother him. "I don't think we've met before... I'm Avery."

Vasile DiRossi
"I don't mind at all," Vasile said with a smile. Wait, was he checking him out? Or just looking? How the hell was he susposed to know? He's never, well, try to notice how guys look at him before. Or was he over analyzing. Dear lord, he felt like he was going through puberty all over again!

"Nice to meet you, Avery," Vasile said, heading over to shake the boy's hand, realizing the name sounded familiar. "My friend Tim mentioned you, I think," he said with a nod. "I'm Vasile DiRossi." He watched his expression closely, wondering if his celebrity status would register any recognition anymore.

Avery Calder
"Nice to meet you, too!" Avery grinned back, shaking the other man's hand. He didn't appear to recognize the name, he wasn't much of a movie person - sitting still for two hours never sat well with Avery. "So you know Tim too, huh?" his tail started to wag at the mention of the skunk boy's name.

"I guess that makes sense, you both seem to be more, uh, changed than other people here, so you've been around longer. Er - I mean. Sorry. Nevermind. I talk too much," he laughed nervously. Avery hoped Vasile wasn't the type to get all angry at the mention of his changes. "Anyway... have a preference of what I put in?" he gestured at the stereo.

Vasile DiRossi
Vasile chuckled. "We're roommates, kind of. I mean, we share the same building. He lives under me."

Vasile was abit dissapointed that he didn't know the name, but didn't stress it. Less to explain he supposed. "Its okay, I don't mind the conversation. Might as well be friends."

Vasile went over to the wait machine and started to adjust. Something impressive... but still doable. He didn't want to embarass himself by killing himself.

"Something upbeat, helps the workout go by," he said.

Avery Calder
Avery nodded. "I don't think I even know who lives under me. I can never remember where anyone I've met lives, I'm always having to go look at the housing chart." He looked back at the CDs again, but he didn't recognize any of them as songs he knew. Going to clubs and dancing to the music? No problem. Paying attention as to what music was actually playing? Different story there.

"Let's just try this one," he said, picking out a CD at random and sticking it into the stereo. He made sure the music wasn't too loud so they could continue talking to each other, then turned around to look at the machines again. Best to start out with something simple.

"So, how long have you been here on the island?" Avery asked as he walked over to one of the bikes, eyeing it wearily before climbing on.

Vasile DiRossi
"oh wow, I lose track sometimes. Many months. Since September, I believe. Around then."

He got up on the weight machine and started doing reps. It had been way to long since he had done weight training, but the burn that appeared in his arms felt kind of good.

"You seem pretty new. But it looks like you've had the worst of it broken to you." He looked over him again, not hiding it this time. "But its working well for you, I see." He flashed him a fanged grin.

Avery Calder
"Ahh, that long..? Hell, I don't even know what month it is anymore. But," Avery shrugged as he relaxed on the bike, starting a slow, lazy cycle of pedaling. "Guess it doesn't matter much. No job or appointments to miss!" That was a good thing, right? Even so, there was still plenty to stress about on the island.

Avery paused in his peddling at the compliment, raising an eyebrow at the fox man. "Oh, you think so?" he asked with a grin. "I've only changed once so far... I think I'm turning into a dog. But it seems to be working out pretty well for you, too, huh? Nice tail." A little friendly flirting never hurt anyone.

Vasile DiRossi
"I miss working sometimes," Vasile mused. "Though most people would argue if what I did was really work or not." He grinned to himself.

"Yay for canines, I suppose. I think I'm turning into one, too. A dog, or fox, or a wolf. Its a bit under debate." Vasile waved his tail for illustration. "I've gotten a bit attatched to it, no pun intended."

"But thank you," he said again, flashing his teeth again. "If you can mind the premature white hair. I used to be a blonde, like you."

Avery Calder
"I never got a chance to start working or go to college, I had only just graduated from high school a year before. So what kind of work did you do?" Avery asked, curiosity getting the better of himself.

"Hmm, I can't really tell, either. Maybe you could ask one of the scientists here - once the crap that's going on now has blown over, anyway." Probably would be a bad idea to ask them for anything at this point in time.

"And I think the white hair works for you! I wouldn't worry about it. Although, I kinda hope that doesn't happen to me too," Avery laughed. "My fur seems to be yellow, at least, so maybe I'll luck out. White hair with blonde fur... ugh."

Vasile DiRossi
Yay, he took the bait. "I was a model and an actor," he said with a grin. "A pretty up and coming one, too. Until I landed myself here." Vasile looked over the guy. "I never went to college either. Hell, I never really went to school - I was homeschooled and tutored my whole life."

Vasile shrugged. "The one time I went to ask the scientists I took my friend Cass with me, and she got worse news. She's turning into a snake, the poor girl."

Vasile let a sorrowful look cross his features. He kept going back to her.

"Yeah, its a mess. I was fairly certain who did it, but all this new stuff keeps coming to light."

Vasile looked at Avery's yellow fur. "Yeah, at least if we're going to be animals we might as well match, eh?"

Avery Calder
Avery looked pretty impressed. "A model and an actor? Really?" Well, he looked the model part alright - despite the fur. And the tail. And... well, he was just attractive. "Isn't anyone looking for you then, like... I don't know, your agent, or someone?"

Avery tried not to look too horrified. "s**t, a snake? How does that work? I can't even imagine... that's terrible." I guess I am lucky, he thought. "Can she... does she still have legs, I mean? Can she walk?"

Vasile DiRossi
Vasile snorted at the mention of his agent. "I have a sneaking suspicion my agent might have something to do with me being here. The b*****d," he sneered. "But apparantly my death was staged...made a big Hollywood scandal. I'm being called the next River Phoenix. Have you met Joli? She's papparatzi...she got stuck here looking for me, apparantly."

Vasile was starting to break a sweat. "Its horrible, and she doesn't deserve it! She can't walk anymore, she barely has legs. BUt she kind of...slithers. For a while she had to use fake legs. It was really hard for her."

Avery Calder
Avery had already forgotten about exercising. He was leaning forward on the bike, resting his arms on the handle bars while he watched Vasile. "s**t... I'm sorry to hear that..." he frowned. He couldn't imagine how Vasile must feel about that, someone wanting to get rid of him so badly that they would get them stuck here?

"Joli... I think I may have met her once. The name sounds a bit familiar. I didn't know what she used to do for a living, though." But if Joli was able to find this place looking for Vasile... maybe that meant there was still hope at being rescued?

"I don't think anyone here deserves what's happening to them," Avery murmured. "At least she can still get around, though, yanno? It's awful, but it could always be worse." Billy came to mind, with his crutches and tentacles.

Vasile DiRossi
Vasile nodded, finished his set of reps and sitting up on the machine, more interested in talking to Avery. "Yeah, definately. To be honest, I consider myself pretty lucky. In comparison at least." He gave a thoughtful look. "I was doing pretty good here for a while. You know... I kind of got a reality check from being here. I was sent here because I was a d**k, and I didn't even know how many people i was hurting. Now.. now I'm a bit more aware. I think I'm a better person now, how ironic is that?"

Vasile suddenly looked a bit nervous as his tail waved behind him. "Cept things are getting confusing again. Since my last change, that is. Lots...weird things."

Avery Calder
"Then some good things can come out of being stuck here, I suppose. I've met some great people here," Avery said, grinning as he thought of Timothy. "People I probably would have never met otherwise. And, I'm grateful for that. I decided, I'm going to do my best to be happy here, and get through all this crap. Although it's been a little hard sometimes... at least we have friends here to turn to, right?" Avery smiled at Vasile.

He noticed the nervous look on the fox man's face, and he tilted his head slightly. "Weird things since your last change - what do you mean? Do you wanna talk about it?"

Vasile DiRossi
Vasile smiled. "I like that attitude. I really, overall, and not that unhappy here. Once I got over myself. I've evened learned to do my own laundry!" He grinned.

His ears flicked back as Avery offered to talk about it. Sure, he had spilled his guts out to Chubbs the night before, but he wasn't druink tonight, and suddenly felt awkward about telling a complete stranger abuot his...recent preference change. Maybe because this guy was giving off way more vibes than CHubbs did.

"I 'unno, its kind of embarassing. And, uh, weird. Most people wouldn't blame the changes, just my denial"

Avery Calder
Avery laughed, "well that's a good thing! I've been kinda lazy about doing my laundry. I keep forgetting, until I only have one set of clean clothes left." Thankfully he had just finished doing his laundry earlier in the day, so he wouldn't have to worry about it again for a little bit.

"Well, that's alright if you don't wanna talk about it," he shrugged, and smiled at him. Denial? Denial of what? "I think weird things are happening to all of us... becoming an animal can really change a person."

Vasile DiRossi
"That's what strange," Vasile admitted. "Its nothing to do with animalness at all. At least, I don't think so."

He signed and shook his head. "Its all just strange and kind of new. I don't want to like..freak you out or anything."

Avery Calder
"Oh, really?" Avery frowned, and he stood up, walking over to sit at the machine next to Vasile. "Trust me, there's little I could think of that could freak me out," he tried to give him a reassuring grin. "I'm an open minded guy! I'm sure I've seen stranger things around here already."

Vasile DiRossi
"Maybe," Vasile mused, watching him as he came over. "Okay. Since my last change, I've discovered a shift in my...ah," his ears turned pink. "Sexual preferences. Like, a major shift. Like... Cass used to be my girlfriend, but she isn't anymore...because I don't find myself, well, liking girls..." He gauged him for a reaction.

Avery Calder
Avery's eyebrows rose in surprise. He hadn't been expecting that. "Is that all?" he smiled, absently thinking the way Vasile's ears turned pink was kind of cute.

"I guess it is confusing if you're just realizing it. I'm bi, but I realized that a few years ago. Maybe it's just a coincidence that you're realizing it since your last change? Unless... the doctors here are doing more than just changing us into animals," Avery frowned at the thought. Could they even do that? A silly question - they probably could, if they can change people into animals... who knows what they could do.

Vasile DiRossi
"Yeah its confusing. But its NEW, I promise you it is.. I mean, I could have sworn I've never felt this way before. I was REKNOWN for my womanzing..." Vasile's pink ears droopped some more. "But I guess there's no way to really know. I mean, you hear abuot people finding out when they were like... forty, ya know?"

Vasile shook his head. "So you're bi, huh?" He let a slightly suggestive tone slip into his voice.
'
Avery Calder
"Yeah, that's true," Avery shrugged. "Everyone realizes it at different times... some people are surprised, and some aren't." He hoped the Cass girl didn't take it too hard. He thought that must be really tough on her... although he's sure Vasile already feels bad about it enough, no need to bring it up right now.

Avery smirked, catching the suggestive tone. "Yes, yes I am. Switch hitter, best of both worlds, etcetera, etcetera."

Vasile DiRossi
Vasile slid a bit closer to him slowly, his tail instinctively (honest!) wrapping around his ankle. "Well, god knows I've had my fair share of the fairer sex. But I'm pretty new to applying that knowledge ...elsewhere." He smiled at him. "Though its kind of fun, you know. Experimenting...learning all these new things and all...." His voice had dropped to a near-purr.

Avery Calder
Oh, the temptation. It was hard to resist, the fox man was really... really sexy. Avery vaguely started to wonder if he had a thing for fluffy tails. He felt guilty - maybe he shouldn't have flirted back.

Sometimes he couldn't help himself, though - flirting was fun. The bad part was leading people on when you had no intention of following through... and he usually didn't catch himself until it was too late; until the flirting went a little too far. And Vasile was really hot...

"While I'd really love to be able to... teach you... new things... I'm afraid I can't. I'm seeing someone here on the island... I don't want to screw it up," he smiled apologetically.

Vasile DiRossi
Vasile coulnd't help but look dissapointed, but he gave an understanding smile. "Ah, I see." He sat up, pulling his tail back to him. "Good for you. I'm sorry.. I guess I came on alittle strong, didn't I?"

Avery Calder
"No, no - it's alright," Avery said, lifting his hand to rub the back of his neck. "I'm really flattered. I mean, you're... really attractive... I just..." he shrugged. "Sorry, I shouldn't have flirted." He was blushing now, trying not to think about what would have happened if he went along with it... he wondered if Timothy was busy with anything right now.

Vasile DiRossi
"You're pretty attractive yourself," Vasile admitted, getting up and going over to a leg trainer machine and beginning to adjust the weights. "And really, its okay. YOu don't have to apologize. I think its respectable. I wouldn't have hit on your had I known, promise." Well, at least not so directly.

Anyway, Vasile could always swing by Tim's later to relieve some tension, he was sure.

Avery Calder
"Thanks," Avery grinned at the fox man. He leaned back in the machine he was sitting in, but he didn't really feel like trying it out. "So, you say you've been, ahh, experimenting, huh? Liked what you tried so far better than what you've done with women?" he asked curiously, and wondered who he's been experimenting with.

Vasile DiRossi
Vasile's ears turning a bit brighter pink as he got himself into position on the machine. "Yes," he said confidently, because he knew it was true. "I had to try it before I could convince myself of it. But it would be silly to deny it after that. It feels more right."

Vasile shook his head. "That's what's so.. weird. You know, its like I would think that if I was always gay, and just didn't know it, than in retrospect I would realize how weird it felt with woman and its just like I'm discovering what sex can really be like now that I've discovered I actually like men. But its not like that. The thought of woman, know, doesn't do much for me. But remembering on some experiences I've had in the past ..." Vasile shrugged. "I still remember having just as much fun."

Avery Calder
"Hmm... I dunno, I guess I'm not the most helpful person to talk about this. I never stopped liking girls, or doing things with them - I just realized that I liked guys too, so..." Avery shrugged. "But I'm sure it's different for everyone, maybe realizing it like this isn't as unusual as you think it is. Some people just have a feeling they're different all along, and some people just like... have sudden revelations."

Avery leaned forward in his seat again with a grin. "So... care to share any details?" he leered.

Vasile DiRossi
"Perhaps, though I really, really would probably rather blame the damn doctor than have to admit I was just...wrong all along. Or that I hurt Cassidy for no good reason."

He sat up for a break, grabbing a bottle of water from the fridge in the room that provided them. He gave Avery a wry smile. "I don't know if I should kiss and tell," he admitted. One thing he learned about sleeping with a lot of women was that discresion was the best route. News, especially about sex, travels fast. "I'm unsure how...er, open, he is about himself, and I don't want to go blabbling something I oughtn't."

But he smiled and grabbed a towel, trying to dry off some of his sweaty fur. "Buuu ~ uut, you know. It was nice. I haven't felt so curious, or at a complete loss about what I was doing, since I was fourteen. Which is frustrating in some ways...but exciting in others, I guess."

Avery Calder
Avery smiled and winked. "Alright, understood. Wouldn't want to out someone who didn't want to be outed." He was still curious, but he decided not to push for an answer.

"Trying new things can be very exciting. Even if you don't know what you're doing - it's kind of nice to let someone else take charge and teach you new things sometimes," he said with a grin. Avery liked doing things that were out of the norm.

Vasile DiRossi
Vasile leaned forward and grinned. "Indeed." He looked over the man again and really had to hold himself off from really turn up the charms and seeing if he could bed him - S.O. or not.

Perhaps in another time - but Vasile had grown sense then. And, well, he was an island. The less enemies he made the better. But in the meantime, he flashed his signature smile and tossed his hair, making sure he got a good eyeful about what he was missing. "I've got an insatiable appetite and a high learning curve," he boasted, waving his tail.

Okay, time to cool it. "You know, we should get together sometime - just as friend. At the bar or something, get to know each other." He meant it innocently enough. Mostly.

Avery Calder
Vasile hardly had to do anything to remind Avery of what he was missing out on. And did he have to say such things? It was just making him... harder... for Avery to resist. He hadn't even realized that he was checking Vasile out again, until he had to raise his eyes to look at his face. Whoops.

"Uh." For a moment, he completely forgot what he had been about to say. It probably wasn't that important. "Er. Yes! That would be good." Really good. "Good idea. I haven't made much use of the bar yet! Unfortunately I suck at mixing drinks, though, so I usually just drink whatever's there straight from the bottle," he chuckled and smiled. "But yeah, we should do that sometime soon!"

Vasile DiRossi
Vasile kept grinning. "Lucky for you, I can mix drinks very well. Maybe I'll see you there tonight and we can have some Sex on the Beach." Man, he just couldn't stop himself today. But he kind of left himself wide open for that one.

"You can bring your friend, you know...if you want."

His tail waved back and forth triumphantly.

Avery Calder
Bring my friend..? Oh. Oh! If Avery's mind hadn't been in the gutter already, it certainly was now. Everything Vasile said sounded so... suggestive. Avery wondered if Tim would be up for something like... this. His face was a little flushed now, but not from embarrassment.

"Uh, yes... Sex on the Beach sounds... great. I'll see if he can come... I mean!" Avery quickly corrected himself, "come along. Yes, that's what I meant." Oh god, get out of here now, before you say something else stupid. "So, tonight it is, then! I'll see you there." He grinned at the fox man, looking him over once more before he left the workout room quickly - before he was too tempted not to leave at all.

Vasile DiRossi
Vasile enjoyed the view as Avery left, totally pleased with himself. He backsliding, and backsliding past. It made sense, he supposed. He missed Cass, but the last thing he wanted now was a serious relationship. Maybe that kind of life wasn't what he needed. Wanted. He couldn't stand to see that kind of hurt again. At least not for a while.

Finishing his water, Vasile went back over to the tredmil and continued his workout.

Timothy had been playing his guitar all day. He'd done a lot of thinking... a lot. Of course none of his thinking had brought him any actual conclusion. If anything it almost felt like it'd confused him more. He wanted Vasile worse than anything but he had feelings for Avery too. He'd never been so stressed out or confused. He couldn't hit a single note.

As the door opened Timothy was filled with a bit of dread. Then Timothy heard Avery start to sing and he watched him. As Avery crawled across the floor and sensually presented himself to Timothy most of the thoughts that had been on Timothy's mind was gone.

He eagerly returned the kiss, that had to be one of the single sexiest things he'd ever seen. Timothy ran his hands down Avery's back and under his shirt as he came up to kiss him.

After a few they broke the kiss. "Hey you... what was that about?" Timothy said with a grin and gave a small grope to Avery's tight butt.
PostPosted: Fri May 12, 2006 6:04 pm

"Mmm... I just felt like doing something for you. Even though I can't sing very well," Avery laughed, his tail wagging behind him. He felt good like this, comfortable - like he belonged here with Tim, looking up at him and seeing him happy.

"But I'm willing to make a fool out of myself for you." In truth, Avery didn't care about making a fool out of himself in front of anyone. But he wanted to make it clear he would do things especially and specifically for Timothy. "Hey... you remember how you told me you loved me when we were on that cliff you took me to?" One of Avery's hands was slowly inching it's way underneath Timothy's shirt, sliding his fingers over the soft fur on his stomach.

Timothy's chest almost hurt from the guilt and stress. Right now he wanted to make things better by completely forgetting about Vasile. But he couldn't.

"Yeah... I do remember that." Timothy started getting nervous again. He had said that. Was he some horrible liar who'd only said that to get into Avery's pants. He didn't feel that way at the time. He'd been obsessed with Avery.

Obsessed with him because of him or because he reminded you of Vasile? he thought to himself. He didn't want to answer that right now.

He still cared for Avery, but everytime he stared at him too long he would get a flash of Vasile's face as well. He knew which one he had stronger feelings for... but were the feelings for Vasile just lust? He knew Avery a lot better, he was supposed to be Timothy's everything.

Timothy felt close to Avery, well he had. Right now, with what was going on inside his heart and head he felt very very far.
