"Okay, sounds like fun." Chi-chi said looking at the birds. Kana looked out the window then at Kaito. "So...What were you thinking about?" Kana said acting like she was trying to start a conversation, when she really just wanted to enjoy the view and go back into deep thought. She felt so awkward asking Kaito questions.

"Do you want me to press for more detail..Since you know about his past." Kana thought. "Cool, Was it like this one? I went to my first one when I was 5, as well but I don't remember much about it." Kana said thinking about her past. "No, I'm fine..I've just been day dreaming and thinking a lot since no one is talking much nor am I talkative at this time of day.

Kana thought. "I know what you mean the first carnival I went to people were really rude and especially in my town. Wait what?" Kana said confused of what Kaito said.

Kaito nodded slightly before their booth finally stopped at the bottom, the door opening for them to exit. He smiled lightly at Chi-Chi although his gaze still seemed distant. "To the carousel?" *****

"Hmmm..I'll ask later, He says he won't say no more." Kana said. "Sure." Chi-chi said. She hugged Kaito. "But if you want to talk more about it you can." Chi-chi said with a reassuring smile. Kana nodded in agreement with her sister. Kana and Chi-chi got off the Ferris wheel and waited for everyone else.

***** "Fine," Nana and Mimi sighed stepping ot of their booth and beginning to head towards the carousel.
Kaito nodded slightly in response as his gaze returned to normal. "Then let's head on over there," he murmured lightly grabbing Chi-Chi's hand in one of his. He began walking towards the carousel before stopping at a stand nearby. He handed the four girls some cotton candy in both pink and blue. *****

"Okay!" Chi-chi said happily, walking next to Kaito. "Thank you!" Chi-chi and Kana said with a smile. Kana walked next to Mimi, wondering what happen to Kaito's mother.

***** "How d'you do it? How d'you get him to talk?" Mimi asked softly as she glanced at Kana, Nana already choosing the carousel horse that she wanted.
Kaito gently picked Chi-Chi up so she could see the many horses to choose from easier. "Which one d'you want?" he asked softly as his eyes stopped on a black stallion. The images of that day at the carnival began flipping through his mind as every sound and everything else around him seemed to vanish. He shook his head slightly while swallowing the lump in his throat. *****
