~Ciel Trace~

Deep burly voices from two men approaching alerted Ciel; his heart rose in hope in glee. His highness must have ordered the issue for his immediate release. Ciel smiled faintly, getting up from the cot as he observed the two guards unlock the pad to his cell. "Thank you," Ciel muttered his breath. The two men scoffed at him, grabbing his arms and dragging him out of the cell. Although the young wizard was disgusted with the roughness they showed him, he said nothing as he allowed them to lead him up to the king and queen's chambers. He watched as the chamber door swung open, and he was roughly thrown onto the ground. "You treacherous woman," Ciel raised his head, piercing into Ryana's eyes. "You have some nerve arresting his highness' advisor" the wizard growled, forgetting any manners. A bitter taste rose in his throat.

"WHAT IS YOUR PROBLEM?" The king rushed to the queen and grasp her shoulders with a glare of disgust. He shoved her shoulders to the bed and covered the woman up before calling in her nurses. "She's gone mad! Mad! Daft! The woman is insane!"

The wizard winced and embraced the impact of the vase as it bounced off his skull and fell to the ground shattering into pieces. The once clean floor was now stained with a patch of dirt, a prickly rose strewn amidst the mess. Ciel bit back a yelp of pain, continuing to glare defiantly into Ryana's eyes. He remained where he was, knelt on the ground. "I am the king's personal advisor, it is my duty to be here my fair princess," Ciel spoke without a hint of fear in his voice. His eyes swerved over to Victor; although Ciel had not smiled, his eyes softened.

A frown pressed over the king's lips and the man stepped over to his adviser. "I fear that we may have to send for a midwife. My dear queen seems to be ill; whether in the head or of the body. I need sons. One to carry on the throne, one to go into politics, and one to join the ministry. I do not feel that this stressed and angry woman can bare the children that my status requires." The king's sad tone matched the somber look over his face and he returned to the bed petting his hand over the woman's forehead. "Rest, my queen."

Ciel's lips curved into a smirk upon hearing Victor's words. "My lord," the young wizard lowered his head to the floor in respect, "If it is your wish I may be able to assist you with finding midwives. I am also in agreement that this woman here is unfit and unworthy of being queen. She has absolutely no tolerance and no respect for you, my lord." Turning to Ryana, Ciel's eyes flashed with a hint of malice but his smile remained on his lips. "My dear princess," he said, honey dripping his voice "You must be very aware that a king is entitled to have multiple women to bear him children. I would be honored if you would accompany me in picking out the finest women for him."

"I have not caused any damage," the young wizard whispered under his breath, "But that may change soon enough, my lady." Ciel slowly got to his feet from his kneeled position, and stretched his limbs yawning. Bowing courteously to Ryana, he took two strides towards Victor with a beaming smile on his face. "My lord," he bowed slightly, his eyes twinkling in amusement. Ciel returned to his erect posture and gingerly stepped forward, wrapping his arms around Victor's neck. "You are beautiful, your highness" the wizard leaned closer, breathing in Victor's ear.
