A massive dark portal opens high above destiny island the sky itself begins to darken as hundreds of heartless surge through the portal there bodies raining down on the island as they rush forward to attack the keybladers, Xleo had ordered the annihilation of everyone on the island even the innocents.
With there masters order in mind they begin to attack any and everything in sight soon the whole island could be seen grow visibly darker by the dark creatures.

  "Fade away...into the darkness.." - Riku -     What a wonderful time to walk into his home. The intense feeling of darkness that filled the island was over-whelming, even to one who still possessed his own form of darkness. Riku's icy blue eyes narrowed instantly as he watched the onslaught of Heartless after Heartless attacking the island. Though there were no key-blade welders here currently, all but him now remained along with the girl, Sakura..Who didn't possess any key-blade. So, exactly why was the island being attacked when there was no one there he knew of? He didn't understand,nor did he care right now. Rushing over to where Sakura was, he noticed that she was sending her own little army after the ones attacking, thank god she had control of them, and they weren't controlling her. "What is going on?! Who is doing this?? You need to leave here, Now.."
Calling Way to Dawn to his hand, he rushed at a pair of shadowy creatures which appeared right behind the girl, attempting to slash at her, but instead -they- were attacked by his own blade. "Get out of here now!"

The heartless collide with the young girls army there bodies smashing together as they fight for survival, the battle was growing intense when riku joined in the heartless suddenly retreat before all grouping up and forming two massive heartless they look down at the keyblade wielder with there bright yellow eyes there master had given the order to kill the keybladers and now stood before them.
Both the giant heartless charge forward only to begin throwing punches with there giant fist they were attacking at different rhythms while trying to close the distance and get closer to riku.

"Fade away...into the darkness.." - Riku -   Riku opened up a portal, and simply pushed Sakura through before letting it close. He also did a little something so she couldn't come back for at least a few hours.He wasn't up for seeing her get hurt by these things. She would then appear within Icicle Inn somewhere.The army of Heartless she had with her just disappeared, now leaving Riku alone with the enemy.
As the Heartless creatures attempted to punch him, she threw up the Dark Shield, which only lasted for the second they were attacking, with that small help, he slashed violently into them, dashing forward as he continued to strike down as many as he could, all the while his dark cloak faded away, for one he didn't much care to wear that unless he -had- to. But also, he had much more freedom to move without it getting in the way.

The heartless begin to fall to the floor from rikus excessive attack he was advancing nicely and soon would see the number of heartless decreasing but still the creatures continued to battle hard each charging at riku from different directions only to throw multiple large punches towards him it was as if they were just throwing there lives away while stalling.
Soon the large heartless stopped moving only to remain motionless with there bright yellow eyes looking up at the sky, they both charge at each other there bodies colliding and exploding outwards in a shower of heartless there now miniature bodies rain down over the island the darkness had spread over the mountains and now surrounded riku but still they waited.
a Dark portal opens in front of riku this was the moment of fate would he traverse through the darkness for the final battle or would he stand alone to battle the darkness that was now covering the island the heartless stood watching waiting for his decision.

"Fade away...into the darkness.." - Riku -  Riku tried to dodge all that he could, but of course he couldn't be that lucky, there was no way he could rush through all of that, all those many Heartless which were attacking him. Continuing to slash at them and throw up a Darkness attack every once and a while during those moments.
He did start noticing the decreasing amounts of the creatures, but didn't let that distract him from the battle."What the hell is this...Why would they be attacking here, again....WHY?!" He yelled into the air, suddenly stopping as he slid a foot back, keeping in battle stance. This was not the end, they didn't just kill there selves, which was proven right once they slammed into one another only to have many more smaller ones surround the island and himself.
Then the dark portal opened up before him, Riku slowly took a small step away, growling softly. He wouldn't take it, not until all of these were dead, he had family and friends at the mainland, no way would he risk something happening to them.

The heartless are begin to move around each other growing agitated by rikus refusal to there masters wish soon the heartless are turned there eyes towards the city and the island itself each one ready to lunge forward and destroy everything the keyblader held dear, in a instant all the heartless stopped as there masters voice echoed through the dark portal his words ringing loud and clear through the creatures minds.'' Riku before you stands but half my army if you do not accept my challenge then i will rain down my creatures over this world and that of your allies in midgar.'' the heartless begin to smack the ground in unison each one with there bright yellow eyes locked on riku.
all the heartless lunge at riku the darkness beneath there bodies was now growing it was just like the first day that the keyblade was found as soon destiny island was once again being consumed by the darkness a voice echoed once more through the portal.'' riku choose now step forward and save your island or fall to my darkness along with everything you hold dear.''

"Fade away...into the darkness.." - Riku - Riku's deep blue eyes watched the creatures with worry. He was no coward, and if this mans words were true and honorable, had he accpeted his challenge, whatever it was, then he would leave everyone alone? "How do I know you speak the truth, if I do accept this, Do you have it in you to keep such a promise that you will not attack anyone, or any other places? " He asked, still remaining in stance to ready for any of the Heartless if they so tried to attack.
"You remove these Heartless from my island, and do not further attack any other worlds, And I will accept you're challenge." As soon as they lunged at him, Riku sent forth a Darkness attack at them, slashing his Keyblade through each and only stumbling back as some managed to strike him, though not hurting him to badly. Nothing he couldn't handle!

Xleo roars loudly as his voice echoes through the portal the heartless stop once more only for there master to answer this keybladers question.'' sorry kid if you accept my challenge only your island shall be spared my wrath look around you riku.'' the heartless begin to smack the floor once more there movements were in unison, The heartless began to close in around riku there dark bodies inching closer with each second.
Xleo could be heard laughing through the portal only to see it slowly beginning to close.'' better hurry riku soon the offer will fade away as my darkness consumes everything.'' the heartless now lunged at riku once more there attacks growing more wild as they pursue the keyblader.

The heartless were suffering greatly by the attacks of the keyblader multiple causalities could be seen as many return to the darkness, the massive army all surge towards riku there bodies lunging at him from every direction each one attacking trying to defeat the keyblader there numbers were decreasing but little by little there damage was growing even the keybladers need to rest or eat.
Xleo smiled calmly as the portal closed to the island the final words of the keyblader seemly stuck in his head.'' risking everything for what you care about.'' he places his hand over his heart only to look at the ground.'' so is that what humans have hearts for.'' he closes his eyes and whispers.'' take what he loves and consume what he is my pets.''
The heartless now given there order grow wild there movements increasing in speed there attacks growing more frequent by the second riku now stood alone against the full rage of the heartless.

However, in order to claim it you must lose something that is dear to you To lose and claim anew, or to claim anew only to lose.. a second nobody had been watching silently the entire time hiding his dark presence in the gaint tree in the center of the island, a smirk appeared under the hood of the hooded nobody "Xleo you waste the purebloods on him" the hooded figure spoke to himself as he removed the hood, blood red Sakura petals flew as he did, the second nobody was marluxia, a nobody riku might remeber from castle oblivion, he stood out of the way to observe but decided to become involved in a way, soon on the island several heartless bearing the emblem of the heartless appeared, these being stronger then purebloods because they have hearts in them wich they stole, they were dispearced on the island and waited for riku's return "now keyblade weilder come and take the bait"Soon the emptiness will shatter your heart-here in this world of nothingness! Imbeciles... You would knowingly shackle your heart with a chain of memories born of lies? You would be one who has a heart yet cast aside your heart's freedom? You turn from the truth because your heart is weak! You will never defeat me!
