LW frowned but didn't say anything towards the gryphon. He was still upset, wasn't he? Of course she continued to feel bad about it. Though it was hard to remember why the longer she stood in Gabrian's embrace. And the head scratching. It was amazing what that small contact could do to a person!
She did happen to hear a familiar name called up to the stage for this round of auctioning. The she-wolf glanced that way and saw Natalia. A grin closer to her usual ones appeared as she watched the werelemur. Oh had someone just bid on her? Good for Natalia! LW hoped she liked the person that had bid on her.
Her violet gaze flicked up as Gabe spoke to Ren. The she-wolf's lips twitched at mention of 'being on the menu'. The nix was probably never letting Ren live this down. Then again, she and her best friend would probably return the favor. He was still speaking and LW was a little surprised that he asked Ren if he could lend him some seeds. Now, she had no problem with him wanting seeds to bid on someone if he so chose. Nope. What surprised her was that he asked. Apparently there was hope for the boys yet!
LW returned the smile directed at her with a very warm one of her own. "A promise, is it? Well I look forward to that evening then." Smile softening, the she-wolf rose up on her toes to place a quick but sweet kiss on the nix's cheek. "Thank you." She said softly, referring to him helping her to relax.
Stepping slightly to the side, so she could see both boils easily, the she-wolf caught the grin sent her way from Ren and quirked an eyebrow before he spoke. LW busted out in laughter at their little joke and playfully swatted at her best friend. "REN! Don't boost his ego~" She whispered loudly, shooting her boilfriend an amused wink. LW also wished she could snap a picture of the two of them right now. Something for her and Alessa to hold against them.
Her gaze traveled back towards the stage area again, where those currently 'on the menu' were standing. A chill raced down her spine and the she-wolf frowned a little to herself. It almost felt like someone was watching her. However, this was something she was starting to realize she'd need to get used to. Especially while dating the magical nix.

She's been outbidded! The ghoul looked worried as she started another text for Amrita, wondering why she hadn't replied her yet; perhaps she was upset at her for doing such a thing as 'getting Tess a date'? However, between getting Amrita a Skelephone, buying 3 DIY Minipet bed kits and getting materials used for sewing herself a dress, she didn't have much seeds left to her name...
In fact, she was betting everything on that last bid.
'AMRITA, HELP. Need seeds - how many can you spare for Tess' date? ):' She fired off the text, hoping and praying that the ghoul would reply before the auction ends; after all, she knew that Sepheran was a nice boil! Besides, his snake was also very charming... Perfect date material for a nice ghoul like Tess!

It was pretty childish to be clinging to the two ghouls as if they were about to vanish of the face of Halloween.. But Mei did NOT want to be left with this gnome and his creepy leering! Making a face as she eyed the small gnome, she glanced back towards Natalia as she spoke to her. Relief swept over her like a warm blanket, and her grip lightened a bit on the two.
"Eh?" She bid on her? She only meant for them to stay with her, and not walk away---but a bid was good as well! At least if saved her from having to hang with the pointy hatted creep. Tension easing, she pulled the two forward for a small hug before releasing them again. "Thank you!" It was probably the kindest gesture shown to the doll thus far, but she was a little concerned about Whisper's fate in the auction now.. If Natalia bid on her---how was she to bid on Whisp? No doubt the ghouls would be able to guess what was on her mind as she shifted her gaze back and forth between the two, with a look of worry. They could annul the bid on her right? That would fix it! Yes? Mei wouldn't be upset if they did; she would probably encourage it.
(( If its allowed, Natalia can cancel the bid on Mei to bid on Whisper later! ))

Brilliant. Just brilliant. At least she'd gotten Calder to stop ranting and making a fool of himself. Riley folded her arms in front of her, watching him leave. She was starting to doubt whether all the trouble of the evening was worth it anymore. She weighed the options, and moodily conceded that yes. Yes it was.
A low grumble bubbled forth from her, sounding something like 'kill' and 'Israfel', before she turned back to Christof.
I'm not sure why you're friends with that time bomb. One day I'm going to find you in pieces, floating in a lake, and I'm going to tell your head that I told you so.

Barth noticed Sin striding purposefully towards him, and gave her a single wave.
Oh, good, Christof was with her too. Sort of good. Christof's preoccupation with demonesses worried him, although new marks had yet to appear. He had thought Yaya, at least, would have wormed one out of Christof by now, but he was glad Christof was using discretion. Maybe Riley was filling any...needs that he wasn't able to provide, and Christof's eagerness to get marks (now that so many options were available to him) had faded.
Maybe.
Conveniently, they were about where the chairs were. He made his slow way towards them, too.

Junko smiled softly at Yaya's answer. Tired? Poor thing. "If you're tired perhaps we should get you to bed, then? I'm sure Sharra would understand." She suggested to her friend, genuinely concerned for her. It made sense to take a nap if she was tired, right? Normally Junko wasn't one for naps, she had too much to do, but where Yaya was concerned they became almost a necessity. She played with Yaya's hair while She played with her hand, looking up when Sharra arrived. "Oh! Hello, Sharra." She greeted him with a smile, giggling and closing one eye as Yaya kissed her cheek. The Mistress squeezed her wrist and hand as Yaya tried to untangle herself, Her lips scrunching up into a stubborn pout. No, Yaya! You could leave when She felt you could! Junko sighed and reached up to tug and pull Her off Yaya, allowing the hair to wrap itself around her own arm instead. Fine! If She couldn't have Yaya as a puppet she'd just settle for her usual one.
The rest of the auctionees were called up on stage and Junko turned her attention to them, recognizing them all for the most part. Awww, Chuppi! But hadn't she just won Tybalt? How could she be auctioned off for a date herself if she already had one with Tybalt from the previous round? Oops! Maybe she should help her...but then she saw her.
Mei-xiu.
Mei was up for bid. She'd seen her earlier, but now she was up for bid. Ugh. Who in their right mind would bid for her? "That's my ghoul. Keep up those lovely malicious thoughts." She chuckled, grinning now. Junko blinked and then frowned a bit, shaking her head. If She approved then it was definitely a bad thought.
"Hush up, you..." She glanced toward Yaya and Sharra in time to see Yaya pressing against Sharra in a very suggestive way, a hot blush rising to her cheeks as she forced herself to look away and give the contestants on the stage her attention instead. I-in public, Yaya?! She was blushing and fidgeting with the pouch in her hands, looking very embarrassed to have seen her friend do that to her boilfriend even if it was just a small act.
Wait, why was Yaya bidding? She already had a boilfriend...and he was right there! "How come you're bidding, Yaya?" She still didn't know who she was going to bid on if she even bid on anyone today.

"You're...You're welcome!" Amrita was back to beaming proudly, thinking she'd done something absolutely great for him. Not having a choice was terrible, and this way he didn't HAVE to go to the dance! "If you want...you can come with me n' Charlie! It'll be---" She paused with another - albeit quieter - startled yelp, and once more produced the skelephone from it's hiding place on her person.
Once more, she started to blush. Lizzy was...getting it all wrong! All of it!
Frowning, she started to text back; but thanks to her hands, it was slow going. Plus, she kept missing the right buttons and having to go back and fix it. While she was better than she used to be, it wasn't good enough just yet.
Before she could get through her first text, another came through. Ahhhhh Lizzy, stop that! It would be easier to just talk to her! The little Undead tried looking around, but with her height and the amount of people, it wasn't happening. Letting out a low and unhappy whine, she looked up to Jericho.
"C-can you find Lizzy for me? I can't...see her." She didn't know if Jericho remembered her friend, though! "Uhm...S-she has...pink hair n' eyes n'...h-horns" For a moment, her hands went to her head, her pinkies lifting to mimick horns.
While Jericho looked around for her, it donned on Amrita that...a skelephone could call someone, too! It wasn't just for texting! So she hummed, looking down at the phone to try to remember how to accomplish this; by some manner of luck, she managed to hear the phone ring, and for the screen to say Calling: Lizzy.

"Oh! That's interesting," she replied to Myr and nodded. Colette felt better now; it was a different language, not a word she wasn't smart enough to know. And it really was interesting, she hadn't actually experienced other languages yet.
At the suggestion of bidding, Colette blushed and shook her head. "Ah.. N-no, no, I'm alright." She didn't want to take a student from someone else, or bid at all really. "I'm just going to use them on anyone that doesn't happen to get bid on. Charity and all." She remembered there were some ghouls who hadn't been bid on, but.. she didn't want to bid on a ghoul. "Waiting to the end, just in case someone really wants to bid.. yep," she half lied. Colette didn't want to look stingy and picky.
Fidgeting with her bag of seeds, Colette looked around awkwardly for a moment, but failed to notice Barth enter the area. She was more preoccupied with trying to keep up a decent conversation. "Er.. so have you been at this school long?" she asked Myr. Time for the lame basics of conversation.

When her skelephone went off, Lizzy found herself fumbling over the small thing before staring at the screen, wondering who the call might be from. She stared. And stared. And stared.
Amrita was calling.
She smiled despite herself before pushing the button to talk, raising the phone to her ear, "Amritaaaaa~ Hi!" She had completely forgotten the multiple texts she had sent the ghoul in her excitement; after all, it was the first time they were conversing through the phone without her having to initiate it! She would pass the phone over to Tess to say hi too, but she didn't want her to suspect that she was plotting something. Oh wait...
"Oh! Where are you right now?"

Where was she? She didn't want to answer that question, because of the texts. But...she just had to!
"W-with, uh, Jericho?" She stammered out quickly, murmuring a belated 'hi'. "He's looking for you I think--" There was a little pause where she lifted her gaze to look at the dragon boil. "--B-but I wanted to tell you, uhm, I can lend you five hundred seeds!"
That was the important part of the call, really. She didn't want Lizzy to lose! Questions would be asked later.

Christof wobbled, wide-eyed as Sin began to drag him towards Barth, trembling in horror. He twisted, trying to send a pathetic needy whine towards his Mistress, but suddenly he had a face full of enraged Calder and his world was spinning.
Why was this so complicated?? Why was everyone mad?? He just... he just wanted... a little time alone with the lovely Demoness and her lovely Parts and... what was he so mad about anyway? Calder had spoken of nothing but how he should act out, be compulsive, be more mischievous... he supposed that meant towards everyone Kelpies. It seemed Riley had defused him, thankfully, and he would have explained things better right then and there- but Sin still had him tightly by the arm ad was closing in on the bed-headed Demon looking like he had just sleep walked into the common room.
Just... fantastic. And not even a moment to explain things to his Master, Sin was going right in for the kill!

"Ohh, with Jericho!" Lizzy echoed, trying not to giggle as she nodded (not that Amrita could see), raising her head to look around; a tall boil like him should be found easily... Ah! Eyes widening, her smile grew when she spotted the dragon near the makeshift stage, "I see him! And 500? Wow, you saved a lot! I'll be right over... See you!"
She ended the call, excused herself from Tess, and walked quickly over, trying her best not to arouse Tess' suspicious; she probably thought that she was bidding on Sepheran for herself or something like that.
When she was out of Tess' sight, however, she started to run, hugging Amrita from behind but careful not to knock her over. She smiled at Jericho before walking round Amrita to face her, "I plan to keep it from Tess until I'm sure that I've won!" Looking at the gnome (he was uglier up close), she grinned, feeling a little less embarrassed now that she was so close to Amrita.
I'm raising my hands in the air! All the players know that I'm layin' down 700 on this hottie Sepheran!

"Who's Charlie?"
That was the first thing he had to ask, though he soon blinked as she received a call from someone. Tilting his head, Jericho glanced down at the bag of seeds he received from the undead girl to pass off to Lizzy. Well that was fine, though he was exceptionally confused why she had him do it since she was... calling that demon right now.
Shaking his head to himself, he went to find the girl in question. It didn't take him too long to spot her in the room. Once he did, he held the bag of seeds for her to take.
"Ah.. these are from Amrita."

"He's my friend!" Was Amrita's answer to Jericho's question. There were other things she could tell him, but the sudden appearance of and hug from Lizzy made her squeak and forget to elaborate. She pat her friend's hands in lieu of hugging back, but...Amrita's first words to Lizzy?
"You've got it all wrong!"
But then Lizzy let her in on what she was doing, and her protesting stopped in favour of a curious blink. So, she really was bidding on this Sepheran boil for Tess? She'd never met Sepheran before, but if Lizzy liked him enough to choose him for their friend, he must have been a decent enough boil
Luckily for Jericho, Lizzy was right there to receive the seeds; if Amrita knew that the was going to just show up, she wouldn't have asked him to help her out.
"T-thank you anyway." She smiled lightly at the dragon boil, feeling only a little silly for the random and in-the-end useless request. There was a little hum, and she looked between Jericho and Lizzy, finally settling on Lizzy.
"Are you...going to the dance with someone, Lizzy?"

"Hm? What have I gotten all wrong?" She blinked at Amrita, still smiling, glad that she was able to get her bid in before the auction on the current batch of students was over. She gratefully took the seeds, dipping her head at the dragon; hey! He can be dependable too! Perfect; at least she won't have to spend every 5 minutes looking around for Amrita to make sure she wasn't in some kind of trouble during the dance... Well, or being led into some kind of trouble.
"Hm? I'm going with you and Tess!" She nodded, although realizing that now that both ghouls have a date, the Demoness quickly added, "However, I will leave the two of you to be alone with your dates during the dance!"
Never good to be the third wheel!
Holding Amrita's hand, she leaned towards her, smiling as she whispered, "Never knew you had a thing for Jericho though~"
