Ember hugged his baby, creeped out. "What... Are you SURE? He looks blind!" Ember had never seen or read about this. Ember slowly handed Zero over.

Kintaro nodded. He took Xero and soon enough the younger twin was drinking the substance as well. The babies both fed and once they were done the let go and yawned. Then they fell asleep. Kintaro forced himself into a sitting position and held them both. He looked up at Ember. "Master, that wasn't normal was it?" he said. He looked sad and looked down. He had given his master strange children. He had failed Ember.

Ember nodded. "No... It's not normal...are you alright?" He asked. He was puzzled. "They look healthy... What manner of creature are you again?"He asked.

Kintaro looked uncomfortable at the question. "I'm a fire demon. Though I guess you want a more specific answer. I don't really know, but I've heard my trainers talking. I'm a parasitic fire demon," he said.

"....They must be drinking your magic...." He said. He looked shocked. "Are you alright".

Kintaro shrugged. "I guess. It doesn't matter. I'm just weaker than I was before," he said.

Ember sighed. "I'll see if inferno will eat my magic so you have more energy".

Kintaro looked horrified. "No! I will not let you weaken yourself! I'm still your guard. It's too dangerous," he said. He held the babies to him. Inferno opened his eyes and whined at the noise.

Embers eyes narrowed. "I have a heavy surplus of magic, you do not. Inferno will be healthier with purer magic" He said. He was saying this not to be mean, but because he was worried about kintaro. The male did not look healthy. Ember loved kintaro.

Kintaro's eyes became cold at Ember's words. "You wanted me to be a mother to him. This is part of it," he said frankly. This was his duty. He was stubborn and wouldn't give it up with out a fight. Xero rolled over onto his back with a yawn. The kid was a heavy sleeper.

"Yes, but he will succeed me and he needs to be strong." With that he let lose a large site of magic to prove his point. "It uses up my power to keep that power in".

Kintaro narrowed his eyes. Silently he handed both babies to Ember before struggling to get up. He drew his sword and used it to help him stand and walk. Like that he hobbled away. He had better things to do than lie around where he was not needed.

Ember got up. "Kintaro!! Don't!! I need you!" He said, panicking.

Kintaro stopped, but didn't turn around. He leaned heavily on his sword. "Why? You're strong, powerful, and with Inferno and Xero you have your heirs. How could you need me?" he said.
