Scarlet looked at him. She sighed and sat back down. "Sorry for asking." she muttered. She turned on her computer. She began typing.

Glaring at her, he couldn't wait for the work day to be over... Perhaps she'd learn from this and keep him at the manor to do cleaning or something.

((Take three.))
A man with blonde hair that had a light tint of green to it was being dragged along the road, burdened with chains and wearing rags. Two large men glared at him, as if they suspected him to lash out at them at any moment. These two men were slave traders, the man with blonde hair was Verde, who until now had a wonderful life in a small village far from civilization. Now, however, he was a slave. He had been sold to a person he had never met, and that's where they were going now.

Scarlet sat on the couch as she waited for her new slave to get here. She hoped he was cute. She needed a new toy.

At last they arrived outside the large manor that Verde had been sold to. Forcing him onto the ground, the slavetraders signaled their arrival with a whistle.

Scarlet smiled and jumped up and went to the door and looked down at the boy on the floor. She looked at him and smiled. He was cute. She paid the men.

Looking up at his new master, Verde did not trust the smile on her face. It was not a smile of kindness, it was more a smile of receiving a toy to be played with. He was not going to enjoy being here.
Before he could do anything, the slave traders took off his chains and lifted him to his feet. They put on his neck a thick collar. Then they handed Scarlet a bracelet. "Just turn the knob on that bracelet to shock him. It will automatically beep when he approaches the boundaries of your property." they explained.

Scarlet smiled and put the bracelet on. She put a finger under his chin and got close to his face and smirked. She pulled away and looked at the men and nodded. "Thank you." she said.

The two slave traders gave a short bow to her, then left the property to resume other duties.
Verde lay on the ground, unmoving, he wasn't sure what he was supposed to do. Stand up, or stay on the ground?

Verde slowly crawled to his feet. When he was standing, he stared at her. He was scared of her, but he didn't let his face show it.
