Takera began to rise from the slump he found himself in. He had been hunched over, but not quite down in the midst of the genjutsu, but when he came to, he dropped to his knees and began recollecting himself. " What.. happened?" Takera muttered to himself. Just then he heard the sound of ice crunching loudly in wide area behind him. He immediately struggled to turn around. His eyes widened seeing Zeru passed out laying in the snow. His mind began to scatter and he began to lose it. " This isn't happening!" Takera said as he scrambled over to Zeru. He turned Zeru over and layed his head across Zeru's chest. He waited for a bit tuning out everything else. Takera could hear a feint heartbeat, but it was there. Takera lifted himself up to his knees and removed his coat and placing it over Zeru. He proceeded to lift Zeru up and lifted him slowly off the ground over his shoulder as he rose to his feet. He looked around trying to see what was going on, but he was unable to make anything out, so he proceeded to run off into the clearest direction he could see attempting to flee the battle. Despite the cold, Takera felt nothing as his mind was scrambling for a way out of the battle and somewhere he could help Zeru. He didn't care about the battle anymore. Their lives were worth more than the village's impossible mission. They'd have to find a new village and re-locate as the Mist wouldn't accept the fact that they fled the battle. Takera put everything he had into the force of his legs and took off at an amazing speed despite the weather and weight of Zeru. The snow kicked up in a flurry behind him as he took off. Before soon he saw the edge of a forest. Takera wasn't about to stop for anything. He had hoped the enemy was caught up with the others still in the fight. Not knowing what had happened, he looked over his shoulder for a split second. " The others should be fine. They're strong.." Sai's eyes watched the damage ensue all across the playing field by his brother, a grim expression stretching across his face as he did. It was so... devastatingly obvious the difference in power between them and his side. Sai and Sorain had practically demolished their entire side while suffering little to no actual casualties themselves. In fact, the only injuries they had received was the opposing team captain managing to drain his summon's energy and barely scratching Sorain with snow. A sigh pushed past Sai's lips as he surveyed the scene; three were dead, two were paralyzed and... Sai's eyes widened in surprise as he realized the third shinobi that had been stunned earlier and the one he was fond of were both missing. With frantic motions, the boy swung himself this way and that to relocate the two, fearful that they might have escaped to summon reinforcements and the likes. But the fear was for naught as with the dispersal of the blizzard, the boy caring his unconscious team mate was an easy spot in the distance. Shaking his head softly, the boy made a few short hand seals, a crystal marble forming beside him before blasting out to follow the fleeing foe into the distance. With weary eyes Sai returned his sights to the two that were before him, his wings spread out powerfully beside him. [Do bear with my RP.. I'm loosing my mojo and I'm in a rush D: Assuming no one can or will interpose as no else exists in this fight to be capable of it and no one else can RPically get here in time as none are in the thread.] A ripple ran through all of Sai's muscles as he flung his head in one direction and then the next before resting his sights on the snow alone, a single hand seal raised to him in a sense of concentration. Far in the distance a lone frozen marble soared low against the surface of the snow that covered the land, it's glassy frame nigh invisible against the white blanket. For a while the little orb wavered against the powerful winds that battered the terrain, it's form hidden even more as a cloud of powdery snow was brushed into the air... but without delay, the marble dropped straight into the snow and disappeared completely from sight as it's form continued to drill it's way under the snow to Takera and Zeru. With a deadly silence, the marble rose up from the snow from what would have been Takera's direction if he had not stopped to turn back and see if he was pursued. With an air of ill intent, the clone silently slipped out of the cold surface of the marble, his body almost appearing disturbingly distorted as it came out in what could only be compared to as a liquid blob that stretched and skewed in the needed directions to form an actual person. Crimson eyes directed at Takera, the clone stood there silently on the snow waiting for Takera to be reassured in his escape before turning around only to see Sai himself standing right there, his eyes locked on the boy's own. With a soft sigh, the real Sai raised his head up and stared off into the distance that showed nothing but more plain white hills. In a deliberately slow motion, the boy raised both his arms up from his sides to be held out stretched with his palms facing to the snow below, each of his fingers drooping down but spread apart from each other. Snapping each of his digits straight, a marble for each finger plopped out of the icy structure below his feet and hung at the tips of his fingers, each of the icy orbs spinning with a deadly force that held an impending sense of danger in the way all spun in a uniformed pattern. Taking a step foreword, Sai's fingers snapped together and his palms spun to face the same direction as Sai before simply swinging back down to his sides as the boy simply began to walk foreword. Each hand of marbles reacted to the directions in it's own way, the hand nearest the team leader Kyu would send it's marbles catapulting into the ice yet again, save two marbles. Two lone marbles from that group would continue to hang in the air and follow Sai as would the same happen with the hand that was nearest Hibiki, however it would be one marble that stayed and four marbles that soared in the direction of the Inuzuka, rather then going into the ice. Timed perfectly, the marbles would make it to their individual targets at the same time and in unionism would strike at their frozen bodies. The explosion of ice rocketing their bodies up into the air and towards the area in front of Sai, the explosion of ice following their bodies like an outstretched wave of ice that would wrap around their bodies and encase all but their heads. As their bodies flew, Sai's eyes flickered to one and then the next before carelessly flicking the index and middle fingers of his left hand, two of the three remaining marbles reacting instantly. To each body, flew one marble and to each marble a pole of ice would reach out from it's body to the body of the freshly encased ice that covered Sai's victims. And like a cart attached to a string, the carcasses were brought to hover just in front of Sai as he stood still once again and looked into the eyes of the two boys. "... A pity."As each of the three boys would meet Sai's gaze the same events would unfold... Bit by bit, Sai's face would crack and shatter, the fragments eroding away into chips of ice and snow that would begin to fly away as a powerful gust of wind ripped through the frozen wasteland. And with each passing second the wind would pick up, continuing to rapidly destroy Sai's body into nothing but snow, snow that would continue to rip through the land as it's powdery form magnified into a powerful blizzard. And locked in the center of the blizzard each boy would stand alone, unhindered or effected anything that they were before. In fact each one would feel as comfortable as if they were in the warmth and comfort of their own home, dressed in their favorite clothing and by far unharmed as they were just a moment ago, the memory of the fight ever existing fading quickly from each mind... being replaced by sudden realization that from where ever their safe haven was, they had just been torn away without warning and hesitation. Their forms now alone in the middle of the blizzard as it raged around them and stole away the warmth and comfort they had just had. The winds buffering at them at them with debris that stung their skin and pelted their clothes... and when they would try to flee the snow around their feet would weigh them down, making each movement difficult and strenuous, and seemingly in vain as the white mass that surrounded each was vast and unending. How each would react to the assault was to their own but as long as the assault lasted, the winds would tear at their bodies. Their skin would be sliced and ripped until muscle was shown and then that too would be pelted at mercilessly and viciously, as the blizzard's rage became intoxication with the victim's body. Each drop of blood split, each piece of skin ripped, or muscle destroyed or any other part of the body decimated, the storm seemed to ripple with joy and ecstasy. It was a high that the storm could not stop getting off on and as such each moment it could only assault their bodies more viciously, edged on with its sick desire to weather away their bodies into nothing more but debris that would join it's body forever... It was a slow progression but eventually each boy's body would be ripped into nothing and their blood would stain the world... The skies would turn black and the snow would be dyed red... Each would awake as a whole, laying against the blood red snow just outside of the igloo that Novvus had created earlier, their eyes on the black sky and red clouds. The aches and pains of the world they had just left would be still etched into their bodies and as they found themselves in the inverted world they would soon find the back of Sai standing just a few paces in front of them. If they could muster the strength to raise and strike, his body would simply break away into snow and the blizzard would begin. However if they did nothing or attempted to run, regardless of where they looked the back of Sai would all they would see, and they would never be able to push past him as his grinning face would simply look over his shoulder at them patronizingly. The genjutsu would repeat and repeat itself until each had died five times and Sai could no longer hold the technique. With a growl of pain, the boy would slump into the snow with his hands clasped around the sides of his head and his body shook with his heavy breathing. The genjutsu had taken a lot out of him and his chakra reserves were slowly but surely dwindling... The continuous javelin bursts and creating the battle field into his own person playground had robbed him of most of his strength.. But surely the fight was over now and he could rest. Wearily, the boy rose back up to his feet and with his crimson eyes he glanced at the two before him. The one that had cried in grief over the death of his fox was visibly weakened by his last assault, and without a further care or notion that the boy was actually defeated, Sai let his frozen body drop to the ground. If he was still conscious then he would deal with him in a moment as his attention was fully on the other, who was clearly fatigued but there was still an abundance of life in him. Growling, Sai gripped the front of the boy's hair and pulled it back so he was glaring right at him, "You're beginning to get on my nerves..." Sai snarled in the face of Kyu, his free hand cocked back as the last marble pelted it's way to it and formed around it a large glove of ice with spiked knuckles. Without further delay, Sai's wings spread wide open to either side of him powerfully and his frozen fist was sent rocketing straight into Kyu's chest, the spikes drilling it's way through and all of the ice that blocked it's way. And in reaction to the strike, the wings began to beat, backing the punch and lifting both Sai and the boy on the other end of his up into the air. The event could best described as an eagle catching it's prey from the ground and snatching it to the sky as Kyu was nothing more then annoying little mouse that jumped and ran this way and that before Sai's fist(talons) finally caught it and lifted it away from safety. And from safety they certainly went as the wings propelled them high into the sky above, stopping only after Sai had flown several miles into the air. With his fist now gripping the boy's chest and holding him high above him, Sai glared at him with crimson eyes as his free hand blared through hand seals. Tossing the boy up slightly into the air, Sai brought his hand into an o shape before his lips and sucked in a tremendous breath... and with it's release came just a tremendous blazing ball of fire that reached up from Sai's lips to Kyu's defenseless body in the air. Lashing out and licking at every part of his physical body, the flames ripped at him in the air with no mercy... and all the while Sai was already preparing his next assault. Flipping in the air so his back and feet were facing Kyu, for the first time the presence of marbles on the soles of Sai's feet would be capable of being noted, that was if the boy could manage to even focus or see with all the pain he was being put through and the flames that licked his body. Regardless, yet again, Sai launched his Javelin Burst technique, the blast of ice instantly forming from where he was as he rocketed back down to the ground, his body preforming loop-d-loops in the air and various other playful maneuvers before soaring backwards to end at the ground, however this time kicking at the direction he had came from almost as if doing a strange dance. The effect of this however was that when Kyu fell, he wouldn't be falling into the back of an avalanche of ice that would explode... but rather, he would find himself sliding down a slide of pure ice that looped and swirled playfully, all the while directed away from where the rest of the bodies were... Until it finally hit the end of the ride, where Sai's kicks had turned the last of the ice into a raised wall of small spikes. The spikes were only an inch long and so it would barely impale the boy, Sai's reserves were simply to small to make anything larger... But the spikes would serve perfectly to hold his body in place against it as the words Shatter echoed through the battle field one... last... time... The ice would shatter directly into the body and face of Kyu and would send him hurdling into the ice that he had just slide on, causing the enter slide to shatter from there up and fall down as shards onto his helpless body... ---Description: A technique unique to Sai Orasakai and the Three Winged Eagle Demon, Washi. By invoking the sadder and darker emotions that dwell within Sai and manipulating them through the powers of Washi to amplify them, the duo can cast a mildly strong and wide genjutsu on the area. Casting out their hysterical feelings of fear, loss, grief, and depression and compressing it into the wind with chakra, the genjutsu is strikes the foe and triggers upon the meeting of Sai's Sharingan gaze, a feeling of ripping cold air instantly being sign for one to know they have been caught.
The illusion crafted is one of a barren land, filled with nothing but snow and ice as far as one can see. A blizzard strikes through the area and pelts everything in sight in white, the snow and ice chips slicing away any form of protection one may carry before shredding their skin and muscle from their bones, leaving them nothing but a skeletal presence. As the more the target's body is ripped apart, the more the world around them is turned into a hellish sight of red and black. The igloo before them becoming transparent and the only visually safe place, a feeling of happiness and safety only being omitted from their... But as the more the body is destroyed the farther the igloo goes, until it is completely out of sight and the target is left desolate in a world of despair and grief. It is only after their bones are turned to frozen dust and carried away in the wind, that the target released from the genjutsu.

---Description: Using the condensed ice in it's primary form of marbles, Sai pumps large amounts of chakra into the ice marbles causing them to spin violently. As the marbles spin, the rapid speeds cause a screeching sound to erupt from the movement that if used correctly can cause an intimedating feeling. Upon contact with the marble, the ice explodes and stretches out to incase whatever it touches. The ice spills over the target's form and seals itself to the ground and any other physical objects nearby.

---Description: A wide spread, devastating move that has quickly become Sai's signature technique. Creating multiple marbles of ice that he positions carefully beneath the soles of his feet, Sai can raise himself to hover in the air easily. From his hovering position, Sai can use the ice marbles beneath his feet to propel himself foreword at extreme speeds, everything in his wake being blasted back and frozen as a jet stream of ice flairs up at least twenty feet high and several yards wide from behind him. Takera dashed as fast as he could trying to escape. As he turned back to face the forest's edge he saw the clone of Sai form, to which he immediately hit the breaks and slid up to the clone through the snow causing snow to kick up and splash against the clone. " FFF-" Takera was struck with another Genjutsu and as he dropped, he could feel himself fading. Slowly he let down Zeru beside him and dropped to both knees. His head hung low as if caught in the Genjutsu that had struck him, but as it stood, he was now unconscious. The damage finally wracked up and overtook him. As though to fight back his hands curled up into fists beside him, but rested down in the snow as he was incapable of fighting back any longer. Hibiki lay nearly frozen in the snow as a blanket of ice began to cover his body, due to Sorain's summon. As it creeped upwards, all he could think about was his last few days and how long ago it seemed. In reality, he had just graduated two days ago, and was put on a team just yesterday, but now here he was fighting with a bunch of strangers against missing nin that were more powerful than the whole squad sent after them. Even Kyu, the so called leader of the squad, is now in danger just like the rest of them, so now what are they going to do? Just then, Hibiki felt more pain as he was thrown up into the air and ice surrounded him like a makeshift sarcophagus, along with two other teammates. Trying to get a good look at who else became a victim, all he saw was a little blue from the side of his peripheral vision, meaning Kyu was probably not going to be in good shape as well. However, his thought concentration broke as Sai's head turned towards him and locked eyes. Brown eyes met blood-red eyes as the Mizu began to disintegrate into snowy flakes. The cold wind began to eat away at Hibiki's features, numbing his body down considerably. Suddenly, the scene changed. The Inuzuka was alone in the middle of the blizzard that was brewing earlier. His body still felt no pain as he slowly took a few steps in several directions, trying to locate the others. Failing, he howled loudly, hoping someone would hear him. Pure silence responded as the igloo Novvus made earlier reconstructed itself before the boy's eyes. So far, the imagery and loneliness the attack had produced wasn't startling to the unsuspecting victim of this genjutsu, but when red spots, and chunks, began to seep into the snow in the area, Hibiki began to panic. Where am I? Is that...is that blood? It smells like blood...so those chunks of meat are... He felt nauseous, the world around him began to spin and flash while the wind began to beat against his body. At first, the wind was chilly, but now it began to bite down hard on the Mist Genin's body as the tough outer layer of skin began to crack. Hibiki whined loudly as he tried to keep his skin intact. It was of no use, howeve,r as it began to peel away and disintegrate into the harsh winter weather. He began to convulse and felt his stomach drop as he could clearly see his own muscle tissue, which began to show his own bones beneath. Hearing a small 'hmph', he looked up from his inspection and saw his attacker, Sai. The long-haired Missing-nin just stood, his back turned towards Hibiki, with the faintest of smug looks on his face as he peered over his own shoulder. "You b*****d!" The Inuzuka shouted with the last of his strength as a horrible pain rippled through his body once more. The scene died instantly as he felt his body hit the hard ice that was molded into whatever the twin's had wished. The snow that had covered the landing barely caught his fall as it swished into the air and covered Hibiki's body again. This is it. He thought as he stared up into the swirling mass of weather above him, Two days as a Shinobi and I'm already on the verge of death. Maybe...maybe I was never good enough to be one? No, that's wrong. I am one of THE greatest Tracker-nin of my generation, so many people have praised me for it, it cannot be false! I need, no, I MUST get up and fight for Kirigakure! He tried his best to sit up from his spread eagle position, but to no avail. The only thing that was achieved was more pain through his entire body. His organs were constantly screaming in pain as they felt extreme amounts of pressure and constriction from the cold. His body was so bruised and slightly bloody, most of the attacks thrown at him didn't make deep wounds, but did hit him internally. He aborted his mission of getting up to fight, now was the time to lie down, and hope his opponent had some mercy. However, a small whine could be heard nearby, and the genin recognized it immediately as his Ninsune who was struck down earlier. The thought of those two bastards having the nerve to let his partner suffer instead of having a quick death angered him even more, almost enough to regain some mental will power to stand up and fight them off some more. Moving his body incredibly slowly, Hibiki did a limped army crawl towards the source of the sound. I must find him. There is no more fight, we are going to die here. The thought earlier about not giving up completely faded from his mind as the reality slowly dawned on him. They had won. Those traitorous curs had won. A small, orange-y mass of fur contrasted against the white in the area as Hibiki used up all of the strength left in his body to make it to his best friend. Several moments, which seemed like hours, had passed until Hibiki and Kuro lay side by side, both in horrible condition. The boy moved his hand over to the Fox's head and placed it right behind his ear as they both stared at each other as their eyes began to droop. "Well Kuro, this is the end. Do you think we did the right thing?" He meekly murmured as he timidly pet his friend. The smallest of whines escaped the Vulpes, as in agreement. "In the afterlife, if it exists, we'll be together again. It won't be like this. It'll be warm and sunny, and we could play all day! And some day, Katsu will be there. Mom, dad, and the others too!" He shuddered as he spoke. He could practically feel his insides shutting down now, but he wasn't finished. "Kuro, we cannot be untethered. This will only be a brief separation, you got that?" Kuro slowly nodded as his body gave one more devilish sigh before going completely limp. Hibiki couldn't hold out much longer. He would have shed a final tear for his comrade, but his body had already become immobile. The last thing Hibiki saw before passing out, was a bright, yellow flash. Kyu stood as still as a statue. He was completely motionless, and yet he was shaking unbearably on the inside. Not only was he frozen, but for the first time, Sai had emerged in full. Kyu finally got a good look at the deadly twin. He hung over the snow like a ghost. He held his hand up, his fingers outstretched, and Kyu could barely see some glassy beads float up to them. The boy walked closer to Kyu and his group. The beads flew wildly around his hand. The shark ninja watched as two marbles zipped away in chaotic motion, then into the ice. Two flickers of white hinted that more flew into theice before Hibiki's. The ice balls then impacted like bullets into Kyuzaku's backside. Ice crystals formed in its wake, and broke Kyu's frozen stance with incredible force. Kyu was launched upwards. The crystals of ice crackled and crunched, encasing Kyu in a new layer of ice, on top of the fractured ice coating just above the fish boy's skin. Kyu tried to struggle out, but the dual layers of ice prevented his movement considerably. He was barely able to move his neck, and some of the fissured ice surrounding Kyu's face fell apart. However, the new ice refroze his neck, but left his face free. Kyu suddenly felt like he was punched in the chest. Given that his entire body was numbed, he could only guess that it was much worse. He was yanked in to Sai's reach like a fish on a fishingpole; a motion that made Kyu's entire body ache. Kyu winced, and grunted. When he opened his eyes, Sai's mouth moved, but no sound came. Sai's eyes locked onto Kyu's. The shark-boy stared back, then noticed that the rest of Sai's face was cracking and shattering before his eyes. This can't be good, it's a ******** genjutsu, Kyu thought, shutting his eyes tight, and trying to ignore the sensations that were bound to follow. He heard howling winds whipping around him, freezing whatever liquid left inside him down to the bone. Kyu felt his body drop, then land in fresh powdered snow. With every bit of strength he had, he pushed himself up, and opened his eyes. No longer was he covered in ice, but instead, it appeared he was set free. "Is it over?" Kyu said to himself, looking around. Everything was gone: ice structures, trees, hills, friends... Everything was replaced with a flat land of fresh snow. The skies were clear, and the sun shined brightly on the cool white field. Kyu brushed out the ice crystals from his hair, and looked to the sky with a smile. He didn't understand why, but the sun was warming and happy, and actually kind of made him feel good. Even though his friends were gone from sight, Kyuzaku felt like a million ryo. Kyu stepped forward, and things began to transform. Suddenly, the world looked turned into Kirigakure. Not the Kirigakure as it is today, nor the Kiri that it was a couple of days ago. It was ideal, an image of Mist-Ninja perfection. He passed by the window of a shop, and saw his reflection. He wore genuine Hunter-nin clothing, with colors suited to match his tastes and profession as the silent fighter. His ivory white hunter mask was on a holder at his back. Kyu looked into the glass reflection with amazement, and gawked at the epic mask. His eyes peeled away from the mask to see his face, and the blackness behind his head. Confused, he turned around. The world had faded to black, and a cold wind blew. Kyu's dream-clothes slipped away in threads, reverting him back to his bloodied battle armor and genin clothes. Kyu shook his head violently, "What the hell is going on?" Ice balls smashed him in the arm and side of the head, and blistering winds combined with water-like snowdrifts knocked Kyu off his feet. The shark-boy landed face first in sub-zero snow. He desperately attempted to get up and run for cover. Even a single glance up told him there was no cover around, but even if there was, he'd never make it anyways. The snow easily reaches his knees, and he could barely walk without tripping. Kyu fell to his knees, and then to all fours. Freezing rain and hail fell on his back like thousands of frigid needles. Kyu felt his pelted back rip apart, and saw the snow below him run bloody crimson. The shark genin shuddered, and attempted to get back on his feet. Ice chunks the size of kunai stabbed into his back, and sliced open his chest. Icicles the size of swords pierced his chest and back without an ounce of acknowledgement for his Kevlar Armor. Kyu's arms went limp at his side, and the ninja doubled over. His knees shaked and shivered, barely able to keep up the weight of the genin's body. Kyuzaku coughed and sputtered. Dark red blood splashed from his mouth, polkadotting the snowy earth with ruddy blots. Kyu felt the wind pick up again, and he flew backwards into the hurricane. His back slammed hard against a solid wall. In the moment that Kyu shut and opened his eyes, the world transformed. The sky was black, and the clouds and snow were all blood red. Kyu looked over his back. He was laid up against the side of an igloo, the very same igloo that Novvus had made earlier that day. To his side was Hibiki. Kyu's head fell limp. His half-lidded eyes watched the impaling icicles begin to melt. With his last spark of life, Kyu looked up, and saw Sai facing away from him. Kyu's vision blurred slightly, but refocused to see the Orasaki Twin look over his shoulder condescendingly, then disappear. The world faded away to black. Kyu felt himself fall, and land in powdered white snow. He pushed himself up, and his jaw dropped. Once more, he was in a world of white snow fields. The sun shined bright over the field warmly. This time however, Kyu stared at the sun with terror, "No.. You've got to be ******** kidding me..." This cycle repeated over and over, each time worse than the last. When the jutsu finally ended, Kyu found himself on the ground, shuddering, and covered in a cold sweat that froze him to the core thanks to the cold. Kyu pushed himself to his feet, surprised that he was no longer held in a cast of ice. Huge chunks still clung to his body, but at least Kyu could move for the time bening. He breathed heavily, in cloud-making labored breaths. He supported his doubled-over body with his hands on his knees. He spat on the ground, and stood up in full, "Well, that wasn't as bad as it seemed, huh guys? Guys?" Kyu looked to his sides, and saw that the remainder of his team lay on the ground unconscious from the mental attack. Kyu felt a gush of wind, then fell forward. Sai yanked his head forward by his head, and glared right into his eyes. All attention's on me now... huh? Sai snarled angrily in Kyu's face, then formed a glacial gauntlet around his arm. Chakra wings flared to either side of the boy's body, making Kyu's eyes open wide in horror, Kyu swore loudly before the massive knuckle smashed through his chest-ice and sent him buckling backward with a resounding echo, "-it... -it... -it... " which was followed by the memorable cracking of shattered ribs. Sai's massive wings folded and beated around the two like a godly eagle. The ice from the gauntlet grabbed Kyu like an osprey grabs a fish from the sea. Together, they rose into the sky. Kyu tried vainly to break the ice fist's grip, but it was impossible. Though the glassy crystal, Kyu saw the features of the land becoming smaller and smaller. He banged the fist harder and harder, trying to get free before they went too high. With sudden speed, Kyu got his wish, and flew upwards. Kyu screamed, "NO! YOU'RE GOING TO LET ME FREEFALL! SCREW YO-" A fireball of enormous size drowned out his words, and set every inch of the fish genin's body in flames. The Hoshigaki bellowed in agony as he reached his maximum height and began to fall. Sai, it seemed followed right above him. If it wasn't for the fact that they were the only people in the sky, Kyu wouldn't know the difference between him and anyone else in the world. It soon became clear that Sai wasn't finished. Sai's mighty ice attack formed around him like waves of water, and directed into a narrow pipe that smashed directly into Kyu's body. The burst of liquid ice continued past Kyu, and formed a slide below him. Kyu slid down head-first, his back being ripped apart by the divots and points along the slide. Kyu hit curves and loops with tremendous speed, crushing him to the outside of the skin-slashing track. At the end of the track was a drop, where he fell on a bed of glass-like shards turned upward. The shards pierced Kyu's skin effortlessly, and effectively slowed him down like a brake. At the end of Kyu's ride, he was bleeding from what seemed to be every pore, and had many ice shards sticking out of his arms, legs and chest armor. Kyu surprised himself, and managed to push himself back to his knees, "How the hell am I still alive?" Kyu said, coughing red splatters on the ground below him. Kyu began to stand up, then heard a single word that made his face flush, his pupils dilate, and his blood run cold(er). That word, that terrible word, he repeated, "Shatter..." The entire structure above him fell apart on command, and ice fell like spears from above. Kyu held his arms above his head, and tried to endure the onslaught. The daggers cut and shredded skin all over his body like he'd walked into a meat shredder. The rain fell for what felt forever, then came to abrupt halt as the last piece fell. Kyu rose from the ice, staggering and red. His entire body was on fire, screaming, and numb all at the same time. He vainly attempted to wipe away the blood on his face, and made a sound that could be interpreted as either a cough or a chuckle. "You know what Sai? Sorain? I'm going to hand it to ya." Kyu said with inhuman calmness, at least for a person who's entire body had been ripped apart, "You're definitely the better ninjas here. I think you've proved that... Enough... Already..." Kyu's words were becoming more strained, it was getting harder and harder to speak. He pushed himself to his feet, and stood tall, even as his body was a complete wreck from Sai's epic combination of Jutsu, "So what do you say... We chalk up a win for you, eh?" Kyu's left foot stumbled back to support his body from falling backwards, "These genin... They're my responsibility... I'm the leader... a shitty one, I'm finding out, but I'm their leader... I beg you not for my life, nor my honor... I beg you to let me return them to where they belong, instead of missing in the drifts..." "Some of them... The ones that are still alive, they've still got things to do. People's lives to impact, and expectations to live up to... the ones who are dead... they need to receive the proper conclusion to their existence... I beg you to let me bring these ninja back, and to spread the word... the word that the Orasaki Twins are free." Quote: Sorain Start: ---Chakra: 3,725 ---Stamina: 4,065 ---Fatigue: 115/320 Sorain listened as the apparent leader of the group addressed him and his brother who had just defeated the entire Kirigakure forces. The Shinobi's passion and nobility was touching to say the least. Sorain listened as he was perfectly willing to sacrifice himself to save his team mates, for that Sorain held a great amount of respect for them. It was true that this attacking group was not organized, it was also true that they very well could have posed a great threat. Sorain knew deep down inside that although the victory came easy to them this time around, this Shinobi might prove to be a great challenge one day in the future, a day when they would meet on equal terms and battle it out as men. A day that Sorain would not see disrupted by hastened actions. But there was one fact that remained ominously overhead. This Shinobi, though he was surrendering, was still concious and had seen there faces, seen there hide out, heard their voices, all things that could be used to track them down again. Allowing him to simply turn around and walk away was simply not an option. Sorain remained silent as he debated what he was going to do, it seemed cruel to take the life of a warrior whom had asked mercy not for himself, but for his team mates. That was the type of loyalty that Sorain held for his own brother. Even if his life had to be taken so Sai's would be spared, he would gladly do so without any form of hesitation. Sorain sighed as he came to the only conclusion that he could think of. He moved himself closer to where the Shinobi leader had just received Sai's last attack. Slowly, he let his crimson red eyes fall over the leader as he further debated what he was about to say. "Some one would say that only cowards ask mercy of his foes. But I say bull s**t. It takes a real man to lay down his pride and ask mercy for his allies. That type of loyalty shows honor. As I would like to believe that I am a man of honor I will grant this mercy request. Not only for your allies, but for you as well. You fought well, and I hope to battle with you again. "Sorains body began to serge with blue misty chakra, as he readied himself for what he was about to do. With the wave of a hand Sorain disabled the Genjutsu hold he had over Kyu causing a sense of warmth to layer over Kyu's body. "Take your team back to Kirigakure with your word that you will relay a message to them for me. Tell them what happened here, tell them that no matter what they throw at us, the Demon Mist Twins will not falter. We do not wish for this conflict, we only wish to be free. Because you have fought with valor I will let you go. See to it that your team mates are taken care of. We will not chase you beyond this point" Sorain said as he took a step back and lifted his hood over his head. As soon as he did Raze dove into his body, reforming itself as a tattoo on his chest. Sorain cracked his knuckles before taking a heavy step forward and throwing his fist into Kyu's chin in an attempt to lift him off the ground and knock him out. It was not an act of violance, nor an act of disrepsect, it simply was there so that Kyu would wake up disorented enough to be unsure of what exactly happened. The lingered effects of the Genjutsu should keep his brain alittle turned around, so with that final blow to the jaw, Kyu would most likely be knocked out and wake up in a few hours to find the Twins long gone, with little to know concrete memory of exactly what had happened or what was said during his final moments of the fight. All he would know is that he was allowed to live, and allowed to see his team back to the safety of their village. Sorain and Sai's mercy would most likely be forgotten, but that was how Sorain wanted it to be. It simply was not in their favor for anyone to think of them as anything but heartless and savage. Closing his eyes Sorain blew a small bit of icy cold wind towards Kyu's face. This minor blast of genjutsu was meant to ensure that his memory of these events only allowed bits and peaces through, at least for now. ((Note: What Sorain did was rprical, and as such you have the right to say that it did not happen/ that Kyu does remember Sorain and Sai granting him mercy. However considering Sorain did show you mercy it would be nice if you rolled with it.)) Each demon has it's own emotional trigger, afterwords it is quiet easily possible to train to release these various states. These cloaks can be boosts to power, protection, or any other ability the container may possess and the boost is most naturally unique to them.
In the case of Sorain Orasakai, the demon cloak ability takes form originally by the trigger of hate. A state of sheer inner conflict that could only be described as a frozen heart. The immediate area is afflicted by the demon's chakra which manifests this emotion and amplifies it to a dangerous level. The cloak itself is formed by collected amounts of liquids, that can range from water to blood before freezing over from and the demon's own chakra. Once formed it takes form of sharp and vicious Wolf Claws, as Biju held by Sorain is the Wolf.

Sorain turned around and tucked his hood further, "I suggest we get out of here while we can. The longer we stick around, the more likely it is that reenforcements will be sent to 'safe' them." Sorain tilted his head up as he sighed in frustration, "I suppose its also wise for us to split up for awhile. Outside of Kirigakure, I would imagine that no one really knows what we look like.. Although" He said as he further considered there next course of action, "Though it might be a good idea to... well.." He said before looking over his shoulder at Kyu who might still be able to hear what he was saying. "You know what needs to be done, I dont think I need to say it. Good luck brother. Be safe." He said before turning to his brother and laying a hand on his shoulder before swallowing his pride and giving his brother a warm family hug. Though he hated showing affection for his brother, they both knew that they were all each other had left in this world. Sai was the only person that Sorain truly loved. They had been side by side since birth and it literally pained him to leave his side, but it needed to be done. Sorain had his own plans that needed action. Sai knew what had to be done and he was sure he and his twin brother would cross paths again one day in the future. But for now, it was simply too suspecious to be wandering around together. Sorain lifted the face mask over his mouth and closed his eyes, deactivating his Sharingan and returning to his world of blindness. For now they would part ways, "Good bye Jiyuu" He said using the nickname that his house hold had on some occasions used for Sai. Jiyuu, freedom, the perfect description of what Sai stood for. With those final words, Sorain walked over to the two fallen twins that had went down earlier in the battle. "I suppose ill take these two off your hands. I make sure I drop them somewhere that they can get some help." He said before lifting them both off the ground and bringing there face closed to his where a quick flash of green and red chakra expelled from his mouth and entered their bodies causing both of them to instantly be brought back into a state in which they could move. Although Sorain was now in full control of their bodies he granted them enough free will to still speak, think, and move, his influence was simply there to ensure that their bodies were strong enough to move themselves and if they weren't, he would mentally do it for them. Sorain returned his direction to the horizon before summoning Raze from his chest once again, this time however Raze took the form of a more realistic looking wolf. In place of its chakra infused skin was simply a deep blue fur. Sorain tossed one leg over Razes back and mounted him plainly before taking off into a brisk gallop leaving the twins no choice but to follow on foot.

Sai returned the embrace of his brother, his mind numbed at what Sorain was telling him. Backing away from his brother, he could feel his chakra ebbing back to him softly as each of his techniques were undone and the mighty wings of ice cracked and shattered into the snow. "Yea... Good bye... Rain..." Sai muttered softly as he stood there watching his brother disappear into the distance. With a sigh, Sai surveyed the scene around him and shook his head sadly. There were one, two, three... A s**t load of bodies... There was no way in hell he was going to bring them all back himself. The two that had managed to run a bit away would have to be on their own, he was damn well not going all the way down to them and he was sure that they would be fine as they suffered more mental damage then anything else. They would eventually recover themselves and do whatever they wished to do or Sorain would possibly recover them.. The three bodies... He wasn't going to carry them back, he'd have Soul carry them. In fact.. "Soul, get your a** down here. I want you to nab these two dead bodies and follow me... We're going on a little trip~" The boy said with a chuckle before preforming a short set of hand seals, a clone quickly forming to gather the bodies of Kyu and Hibiki as the original hefted the injured fox into his own arms and petted the fur gently. "Well here is the plan... With a soft nod, he turned to Soul to speak in whispers as the clone continued on to collect the equipment of the fallen foes. Quote: Exit to Lightning -> Water

Soul watched as the fight came to an end. He felt a bit disappointed in himself for not taking a more active role in the assault, but vowed to make more of an effort in the future. He saw a lot of potential for their little team to do great things. With these two twins together.. nothing could stand in their way. Soul felt as though he should have put a foot in his mouth as he watched the two hug and say their good bye's. Just a few seconds ago he had been thinking about the impossible odds of anyone ever splitting them up, then they went ahead and did it themselves. Everyone knew where Soul would go, he hadn't taken much time to know Sorrain. So the decision wasn't even voiced, but was assumed. Soul would be going with Sai. ' Soul, get your a** down here. I want you to nab these two dead bodies and follow me... We're going on a little trip~'Soul looked over to the two bodies Sai was speaking of and nearly asked if he was crazy. One body alone was larger than himself, let alone carrying both. Soul did as he was asked and thought of it as more training and strengthening. It was just Soul and Sai now.. so he would have plenty opportunity to show his usefulness, starting right now. He followed Sai onward to where ever this 'trip' would take them. Chilling cold winds rolled over the hills, sending wave after wave of frost scattering over the air only to land against the cold ground to be sweept away once again, forming an infinantly refreshing surface of snow. It was truely one of the worlds most beautiful sights in Sorains opinion, an entire ocean of snow that was constantly shifting, constantly changing to forever mimic the landscape. In this small country was an even smaller village of ordinary villagers. Though Sorain knew different, all reports on this area said that the last remaining military units were disbanded years ago and that this was no longer considered a Shinobi Village. A fact that while mostly true, was not 100% accurate. During his times passing through this area Sorain had caught traces of chakra lingering through the mountains. Of course as in any organized living quarters there was bound to be a few whom had above normal chakra levels for a common villager, but this was much more focused and much more powerful. Sorain had noticed this the first time he stepped foot in this area, the formation of the mountains, the rolling of the snow, it was simply impossible by normal means. Under normal circumstances, for there to be this many hills and small mountains, even if there was a constant source of snow rippling over the land, it was very hard to believe that every single place had an even coat of snow. One would imagine that the higher one scaled from flat ground level that the snow would either thicken or thin out depending on the storm patterns. Mean while here the snow seemed to be purposly trying to make an even coat. As if someone where spacifically controlling the storms that passed through here. Something that Sorain figured was not impossible, he had always suspected that the same acts were at play in the Rain Country. It was simply too much to believe that a single place could have a never ending source of the same weather patterns constantly without some form of human interference. On the outskirts of the village a single slab of ice formulated through the storm from which Sorain took a slow step through. He had stepped into his icy dimension back on the other side of the Fire Country, and stepped out here. He could have easily moved himself directly to lightning, but he did not want to exert that much chakra in the event that he were to be contested for his sword. Sorain was no fool, if he could figure out the location of the sword so easily, what made him think that some other random ninja could not have done the same? He was heading to Lightning with full intentions of battling it out with anyone whom dared contest his right to one of the Seven Mighty Swords and god help that old man if the sword was gone, he was surely be making his way back to Earth and paying him a little visit. Sighing to himself Sorain pulled his clothing in tightly, he had almost forgotten how cold it could get here. Tilting his head up so that he could move his hood to cover more of the skin on his face Sorain pressed on. With each step he could feel himself loosing balance. Usually he was able to use sounds, and the feel of the ground below his feet to be able to 'see' where he was going, but with the constantly shifting land it was almost like walking on an ever changing and shifting path and fighting against your own mind to not go insane or even simply not to get lost. Reluctantly Sorain activated his Sharingan to give himself a temporary relief from his dark world of blindness. "******** freezing out here" he proclaimed to himself, which was odd considering that the majority of his fighting style revolved around low climates, the only diffrence here was when he was battling he specifically diverted some of his Chakra to keeping his body temperature warm enough to function. Chakra that he was in no way intending on waisting at such a time, no he would have to tough it out until he could find a proper place to rest. Now that he thought about it, Sorain had not actually sat down anywhere to rest in days, and it had been even longer since the last time he had eaten something. The thoughts alone caused his body to react negitively, sending ripples of fatigue and starvation crunching throughout his entire body which seemed to scream at him for some sort of relief. Clinching his teeth Sorain came to the difficult conclusion that he was gonna have to delay his advancement for the sword and stop to gather some resources as well as some much needed down time. Turning his attention away from the direct path towards Lightning, Sorain moved slightly to the west sending him directly into the village located in this area. It was a small village, populated mostly by the left over soldiers from the Shinobi wars and their family. Many of them had never seen a stranger in their lives, let alone a stranger whom was obviously a trained Shinobi. With this in mind, Sorain decided to tread lightly and try not to arouse any unwarranted suspicion. As he entered the village he quickly found a nearby store which had a window just recently broken. Wood and ice were used to cover it back up for the time being which lead Sorain to believe that this must have been where Sai had gotten their supplies from the last time they were here. Realizing that entering that store again still wearing some of the merchants merchandise would cause him unneeded hassle he continued marching until he found another similar shop. From the smell radiating away from its walls it was obvious that they sold food of some sort inside. Sorain's belly tightened at the prospect of finally having a decent meal. Entering the shop slowly Sorain made is way up to the front desk. Inside where four tables with four chairs, a few windows, an old fashioned clock resting against the wall, and a fire place that was kept constantly lit. Though not the most fancy of restaurants it was easy to tell that it served the people who lived here quite nicely. "What will you have stranger?" the old man at the desk asked him before he even realized that anyone was speaking to him. The smell of the food had sent his mind into a temporary daze. "Um..How much food can I get for 15 Ryo?" He questioned. The old man at the desk chuckled at him, "Not much, maybe some scraps that you would have to bribe the dog for. Your not from around here so you might not know this but we dont put too much worry into money these days. Everyone in this village contributes in their own way so there is really no need for such things. Tell you what, the chimney from the fire place don got frozen over again. It happens all the time. If you could get up there and get it all straighted out, break the ice off the roof while your at it. Ill see to it that you dont go on hungry." Sorain frowned, he really was in no mood to do chores, he was hoping to be able to get some food, sit down for awhile, and then be on his way. "Fine" He said turning around abruptly and exiting the shop. Once outside Sorain reached up and grabbed hole of a pole that was used to hold up the shops sign. Using it, he pulled himself up onto the roof where he could get a better view of exactly what he was dealing with here. Sharingan still activated, Sorain could now see exactly what his suspicions had hinted. The ice and snow around this area of the roof was filled to bursting with Chakra. As he had figured, there was someone in this village whom was more powerful than he wanted the world to know. Someone who was purposely keeping this area layered in snow twenty four seven. But why?
