Turning from the window Sammy was about join the others when something suddenly came prancing down the street. Tilting her head a green light flashed sending her stumbling backwards, a green nosed deer! Two thoughts crossed her mind. One, she could kick its butt, two, maybe she could ride it? Use it as a guide through the town. Slowly she approached hands up before making a grab and missing the nimble and JOY filled creature. "Two choices deer! I probably creep you out and you freak me out, we can work together and you can give me a ride or I can pummel you and feed you to Nuk for a snack! Your choice!"

Okay! So making threats with Nuk having a deer time snack wasn't the best idea! It seemed it only spurred the deer on to ram her hard in the gut with its antlers sending her stumbling back, "Okay okay! I won't feed you to Nuk! But your gona pay for hitting me like that!" Jumping in towards the deer again her hands worked quick, a punch, a chop a poke, and another light jab at the deer, four hits to put the deer in its place. "Your choice JOYfull monster! I let you live and you help or we see which of us walks away from this!"

"Bad choice!" Antlers once more rammed her guts sending her stumbling back, but she would have no more of that! Grabbing onto the horns pushing back, once far enough she tugged the deers head up just enoough to bring her own head down hard on its skull with a solid thump.

Sammy used Headbutt, it was super effective, the question now, would the deer obey or simply choose to die a noble death at the hands of Sammy Slayer Of Joy? "Your choice JOY beast, obey or perish!"

Sammy had gone a little over kill it seemed. Literally. The deers neck snapped from the head butt. BUT THATS OKAY Because it turned into Jerky and a gift box. YAY!

Sin smiled at Quarria as she saw her and waved, ugh if she kept smiling and moving someone was gonna mistake her for a tall sexy elf. She put her arm down as Quarria came closer.

"Glad to see your alright Quarria, and thanks for the offer but this new outfit is surprisingly warm, no wonder these elves don't mind the freezing cold." She glanced at Alcie worried. "Maybe my friends could use a little warm up time though..."

She didn't think it would be a good idea to arrive at Sandy Claws Workshop only to drop frozen at the door. They had to get there in peak condition if they wanted to stand any chance of beating whatever they would come across. She still thought Malodore was right, these elves and deer were probably just fodder compared to whatever was inside. Something had to be protecting Sandy Claws Workspace...from them.

As Iolanthe spoke, Gabrian had the decency to look mildly sheepish, which was probably mildly amusing to look at, given the fact he easily towered over his sister, "You speak as if I ran around looking for a fight!" the nix had to fight hard not to pout, instead turning his head upward in an attempt to retain some sort of dignity (which was in tatters taking into account he was still clinging onto Alessa for dear warmth), "That horrible snowman was the first to attack! Cam out of nowhere, and I was stuck in serpent form, which was extremely counterproductive for battle, may I assure you," he left out the details, not wishing to point out how wibbling his fins menacingly had been horribly stupid on his part, not to mention the fact it'd had little to no effect on his adversary.

"Either way, I tried my best," something about the way he said that made it clear that his best had, clearly, not been quite enough, "I thought you'd moved ahead... I feel horrible knowing that it was I who'd done that," he eyed her arm and frowned, "I'm sorry... I wish I'd taken a god forsaken bell instead of this dumb sake. For all the good it's done me," granted, it'd saved him from his first attacker, but still, "I wouldn't know. I just got here myself, and so far haven't been attacked, but... I'd figure this place must be worse. Albeit a little bit warmer, thank Jack!"

His gaze lowered down to Alessa and he found himself arching a brow at her, "My dear, you should lighten up," it didn't sound mocking so much as... mildly amused, "One of these days you're going to die of high blood pressure. I was merely jesting; don't take everything I say seriously," a pause as he backtracked, "Unless the situation calls for it anyhow. Relax. Remember what I said about the music? I think that works here too. If you're wound up you're wasting energy which you're probably going to need to focus on the enemy, which is, by the way, not me," he offered her a light smile at that point. He, unlike her, seemed to be having no trouble with the current position; he saw no harm in the innocent need for warm. None whatsoever.

"I'm likewise glad you're doing well, sin," Gabrian then paused to look the succubus up... and down and then back up, tilting his head slightly before deciding against asking about her current outfit of choice. It was a better outfight, as far as he was concerned (well, no color-wise... or design-wise or... anything-wise, really, but at least now she wouldn't be flashing half the school rooster when she battled).

His gaze finally settled on Quarria and he the larger serpent a smile, "I'm glad to see you managed to settle that score with your... cousin," a pause "Hopefully with minimal damage?" her form was a touch too big to let him look over it all in one glance, but she didn't look as bad off as he had after his battle, "I'd actually love a ride," he looked down at Alessa, and then at Io, "Would you join me?" he didn't really need to address the other girls, at least not in his mind; he figured his sister and the rabbit girl would need the most convincing and... he a) wanted his sister to rest up before her next battle, b) was unwilling to give up the warmth Alessa was providing, "Please?" it'd worked once, so why not again? "I'm certain Quarria needs the warmth as much as I do."

Nuk had been pacing around Sammy and the reindeer as they had battled, crouched low in a stalking-pose as he circled, looking far too smug at how the reindeer had been offered to him as lunch. He was more than happy to play the part intimidating the JOYful creature -- he hadn't eaten the entire trip, not even the dead frogs he had turned his nose up in the train, and the predator in him had his eyes on that deer. In fact, there was drool dripping from between his teeth as he bore them at the creature, and once during the fight he had slipped his tongue out to lick over his muzzle, growling low under his breath. But more than that, beyond the intimidation which was so much fun for him, (such a great stress reliever, terrorizing these JOYous creatures,) he was keeping an eye on the situation and acting as Sammy's backup.

The fight had ended rather quickly in a victory, something both pleasing and disappointing to the skinwalker, who felt both an extreme satisfaction as Sammy had killed it so fast and yet also felt the itch to watch a good fight. In the end, he figured there would be more fights, straightening and eying the jerky hungrily, his belly growling loudly enough to probably disturb both Shehk and Sammy both. As such, he first leaned a little into Sammy in thanks, nearly toppling her over (he was sure) with his weight and extended his tongue at the offer of jerky, so he wouldn't have to have the Pricolici's fingers too close to his teeth. He wouldn't bite her, but it still might have made her uncomfortable.

Draven picked up Alerick's pack and tossed over his shoulder with his own. The motion the wolf made with his head was clear. "Yep. We should get going," Draven agreed. He eyed the town, with it's little lanes and houses everywhere. "Umm, feel free to lead the way," he didn't see any clear path, and he had a feeling none of the students knew which way to go. It seemed like a mad dash to the Workshop, where ever it was.
