"'Daddy, Daddy,' is that all you can say?" She brandished the shard of glass threateningly, her expression only darkening. "Do you know how many times I've said that in my life? Twice. Just now." Rose eyes flicked from the frightened little girl to the man holding her in his arms. "Because of you." Years of seething hatred boiled in her veins. "You took my life from me. You took it and you gave it to her." Her grip tightened on the glass, cutting small lacerations from which blood began to well. "Give back my life! Give back Mother!" Her attention turned back to the little girl, a murderous intent gleaming across her countenance. "Give back my name!" She lunged forward.

Mau put his hands on the woman's shoulders. It was an instinctive reaction as they all looked up at the shattering glass. Though Nyx's command to Darwin called his attention back to their mission. This was a distraction alright! He ducked aside before calling to Ran. "Wing attack!" This was directed at the dragonair. Keep it occupied. Weaken it.

Everything happened rather quickly. Ethan was introducing his new Oshawott, Claire came back with her Pikachu, the man on the podium began to speak, Aila had her Beldum crash through the window and now she was yelling at the man up there...

This was probably the distraction they've been waiting for and no sense letting it go to waste by hesitation.

"Steve, Grasswhistle!"

The Leafeon, who was just introducing himself to the Oshawott, frowned at his trainer's command. He didn't want to hurt his new friend! But if he didn't obey then he would get hurt and that wouldn't do... Instead of shaking the otter Pokemon's paw, he flipped his tail into his mouth and blew into it, producing a soothing melody that would put the Pokemon to sleep.

"How adorable!" Claire exclaimed, smiling down at the small pokemon. "Apollo, dear," obviously addressing her chubby chu, who only glared at the temporary name. He preferred his real name, thankyouverymuch. "Why don't you go and greet the lovely little Oshawott?"

Brown-tipped ears flicked thoughtfully as he hopped down from her shoulder, and he sat himself down in front of Ace and his trainer, taking the paw that the strange little pokemon had offered and shook it in a polite fashion, but did not have time to let it go before glass suddenly shattered and rained down upon the stage.

Show time.

He knew that there would be a signal and that meant to attack and steal, just like before. That must be his signal. Without hesitation, a devilish smirk crossed his face as he gripped the other pokemon's paw tightly and with a loud, "Chuuu!" he loosed a powerful Thunderbolt attack to everyone around him. Obviously he was aiming for the trainer and his two pokemon, which was why he had strategically placed himself so close to them.

Claire was glad she didn't need to order Zeus to attack, he had already started as she looked up to the podium - was that Aila, and.. Aila? Brows furrowed as the thought crossed her mind that it no longer could be a coincidence. There was no way, especially with the horrific look Aila was giving the younger girl with the same name and her father.

No time to ponder on that, however, as she grabbed Leonard's arm and pulled him over, whispering fiercely at him as she reached into the folds of her skirt to find Odette's pokeball. "Grab both his pokeballs and let's go, Odette can fly us out." Whether the bird liked hated Leonard or not, she would never consider disobeying an order from Claire.
