Kaze Taco lizbot Kaze Taco Alwine wasn't quite sure when it happened, but she had neckplanted in the snow. Again. Only this time there was a LOT more snow, and it was a LOT more cold. She struggled up to her feet and looked around. It looked like none of the other Candycane Lane morons had arrived yet, though Alwine wasn't sure how that happened. Maybe Jingleberry had smiled upon her card and flung her in front of the others to meet her certain death faster. Oh, Joy. Alwine was awfully sick of it by then. "YOU HERE FOR TOUR?!" A grumbling voice asks excitedly behind her, "IT GREAT! YOU COME WITH!" Two huge furry arms wrap around Alwine to pick her up. HP: 7 "aaaaAAAAAIIIIIIEEEEEEE!!!" Alwine shrieked and flailed about. "I don't want a tour, I'm sorry!! I'm just trying to get through as quickly as possible! I'm sorry, please put me down!!" ((Rolling...)) ((Could help if I remembered to roll)) HP: 25 Damage: 0

Gabrian was so very obviously not okay.
As Alessa approached and crouched down beside him, he coiled up and hid his head under his coils, looking as embarrassed as a large snake ever could. He even concidered telling her she was fine, that he'd live, but his own advice came to mind, and he sulked in the relative safety of his coils before finally allowing his head to emerge, "It hurts," he said simply, his voice coming out in a mix between a grunt and a whine; moving actually really hurt, but it had a lot less to do with injury (the snowman had barely actually touched him) and a lot more to do with what he hoped was not frostbite.
He was feeling way too hurt and way too weak to make any sort of comment about her tail or the fact he could have probably seen up her skirt if he'd set his mind to it. It was obvious though, that his mind was not on that task, because his eyes lidded and his gaze lowered to glare half heartedly and miserably at the ground.
Full of Fail. That's what he was.
His gaze lifted as Faint (whom he recognized from his car even if he WAS in tiger form) approached them, "That would be-" he never got to finish his phrase, for the tiger was suddenly attacked by a wayward snowball, which Gabrian only just barely managed to duck away from. Offering the new snowman a threatening hissssss, he moved just barely to press the side of his body against Alessa's bare legs. From there, he watched the tiger's rather swift battle, but before he could answer the large feline once he was back, he felt that familiar tug in his stomach, signalling a shift.
He was soon enough sitting on the ground, looking rather pale, "I thank you for the offer," a pause, "Faint, I believe? I don't think I know any other tiger-fellow..." he let out a sigh and tried to push himself off the snow, failing miserably, at which point he looked up at Alessa, "I think I'm going to need a bit of help. If you don't mind anyhow..." then he turned back to the tiger once more, "I would have taken your offer, but short of forcing you to sit on a rock, cuddling with me right now... there's nothing you can do."
As much as he'd have loved to sit and curl up under the tiger, even in human form, he didn't think it wise to stay here and... get separated from the main group, "We should probably move on; here, alone and separated from the rest, we're but sitting ducks," and that said, he lifted his hand up to Alessa, looking for all the world like he was sorry and miserable as all hell.

And here he was again, Johan thought, bemused, as he watched the snake-boil, Gabrian by name, struggle to his feet. It was Christof all over again, except the snake-boil hadn't any limbs to lose. Johan had been somewhat reluctant to do any talking, and in truth he hadn't had much chance to do so with Yeti and Snow Men attacking left and right.
Gabrian had an absolutely brutal battle, and the shift to human form made his injuries all the more apparent. As Quarria was still occupied, Johan felt it was his duty to heal the injured boil. He drew closer to the now mostly human group.
"I vill heal you, ja?" he said, pulling the Bell out of his bandages. "Please hold still."
He lifted the bell above Gabrian and gave it a ring.

Welp, he had promised in his own way. Miraculously, West didn't even glare at the sloth demon, he just jutted a thumb over his shoulder.
"Back? Or shouldai carry ya in myarms like a lil' pumpkin? Or throwya over m'shoulder like a kidnappin'?"
Who knew what he was talking about really.
West punched his fist into the palm of the opposite hand and began rearranging his pack and EXTREME SNOWBALL LAUNCHER 5000 to accommodate his future passenger.

In as dignified a tone as possible, Barth said, "The first."
He just had the bell, so there was nothing to rearrange except himself, which he was extremely grateful to do. He could nap in all three positions, but the first option would leave West's arms free.
For all the climbing Barth would most certainly not be doing.
And also for punching things, which was important. Finally, finally he could get some rest without deducting travel time. Barth waited patiently for West to juggle his inventory.

((Oops, forgot yeti did 4 damage from the first attack. Rolling, then will do math.
EDIT: THANKS FOR DOING THE MATH!!))
Alwine shrieked, doing her best to dig her fingers into the yeti's furry hug of fury.
"Please let me go! Please!!"
Alwine was so busy flailing that she accidentally slammed her elbow into the yeti's gut. (Did he have a gut?) Well, she slammed it into SOMETHING.
"I'm so sorry!!! Really, here, let me look at that--" In trying to twist out of his grip to look at the damage she had done, somehow she managed to fling the yeti over her shoulders and onto the snowy ground in front of her.
"Oops... um... maybe I can look at the damage now? I'm so sorry!! Really, really sorry!!"
Lord only knows how she managed to do that.

"Buuhhh..."
Faint just kind of stared. He was saved from acknowledgment by the arrival of someone with a bell... which was promptly jingled over Gabe's head. Saved by the bell. Hm. Faint loved that bell.
His tail swayed behind him softly and he tilted his head with a flick of his ear. "Feeling more fit for travel, now?" He hoped so. He didn't want to get left behind again. He was afraid of being stuck in another shift without someone to watch over him.

Strait Jacket Girl Trira Strait Jacket Girl Trira Strait Jacket Girl Trira Damage from Yeti: 1 point. Damage from Quarria: 4 - 6 = 0. FAIL QUARRIA. (Don't get so distracted!) Quarria felt the arm smack into her body, but it wasn't like the yeti had done much; she was even still attached where she'd bitten. It was a good thing she had such strong scales. Since she didn't have any riders right now, the amphithere decided to do what any serpent could do in such a condition. Constriction time. The thirty-foot-long cord of dragon coiled for a moment, and then tried to constrict around the yeti and suffocate it or something to that extent. While she was doing this, the dragon couldn't help but say, even with her mouth still clamped to the yeti, "I believe you're the one who owes me peppermint points!"
She heard the rabbit announce her name, and Gabrian explaining who Quarria was, along with saying that he would take her up on her offer later, and not to get hurt. Even in the midst of this battle, his words had made her feel happy. Now she just had to kill this thing and be done with it. Apparently, she shouldn't be thinking about such things during battle though, as her constriction failed.
Quarria's health: 21 points. "Ha Ha Ha, Cousin, apparently your size does not mirror your fighting abilities" The Yeti grabs at Quarria to get her off. "I will get my points out of you." HP: 5Damage: 1: 2 - 6 = 0 points. (Quarria! Stop failing, you huge dragon thing!) "Neither do yours!" She snarled as she was pried off of the big fluff-monster. His pull had barely hurt her. "How about this, you beat me, you get your points. I beat you, I'll take the same amount of points from you, 'Cousin'." PSh, she didn't have a peppermint point to her name, but she'd definitely take his instead of another present. (She alread had one of those in her bag, anyway.) She writhed for a second, and then slammed her head upwards, aiming to slash him with her curved horns. Unfortunely, it was too far away for that, it seemed.Quarria's Health: 20 points. "All right cousin. You have a deal." HE wasn't too concerned with her and so he tossed her down. HP: 5Damage:6Damage from Yeti: 6 points. Damage from Quarria: Using her bell, this round. "Deal." She said about the peppermint points. Then, getting thrown shouldn't have really hurt. Unfortunately, she didn't crash into any snow, but into the rocky ground instead. She snarled at the yeti, but feeling a bit hurt, swung her neck a bit, to jiggle the Carol of the Bells. It activated and healed her by six points. There, at least she stood a chance now.Quarria's Health: 20 points, again. "THEN I MAKE YOU PAY UP!" Angered by your failure to pay up, it heaves a large rock...well....okay, lets be honest, it's a freaking boulder, in your direction. HP: 5Damage from Yeti: 0 points. Damage from Quarria: 6 - 6 = 0. QUARRIA FOCUS AND STOP FAILING. When you're thirty-feet of serpent, it's kind of hard to dodge things, Quarria discovered. Luckily, she was beginning to channel her 'SERPENTRAGEFACE' into this battle, and thus somehow managed to evade the huge boulder. Unfortunately, avoiding the boulder had taken most of her time, and she hadn't managed to launch an attack for her turn. Instead she shouted as she dodged (As she really wanted those points instead of another present), "Don't forget our deal, 'Cousin'! When I win, you give me as many peppermint points as you claimed I owed you! Twelve! Got it?"
Out of the corner of her eye, she saw her friend Gabrian defeat the snowman and heaved an inner sigh of relief. And it seemed that their train-car aquaintance, the teal-eyed reaper (Johan, right? She'd met so many people, she was trying to keep track of everyone's names now, and she really hadn't talked to him) was healing Gabrian. Good, now she could focus on her own battle. And then she could serve as the Amphithere Express again!Quarria's Health: 20 points.

(( Exit post ahoy~! ))
Alessa was really uncertain what to make of Gabe looking...so thoroughly miserable. It was odd, because he usually was (infuriatingly) good at just taking things in stride. To see him so beaten down just felt wrong. She could have teased him about it, or made some kind of sticking comment, but she sensed there was just...nothing to be gained by that. Not now. So she took his hand without a second thought, yanking him up to his feet. In the same motion she situated herself under one of his arms with one of hers around his waste.
"Hey, you help me, I help you, but let's just not worry too much. I bet we'll be there soon if we just keep going, right?" She offered optimistically. She felt like the needed some optimism now. She smiled widely at Johan too, remembering what the bell had felt like. It must have helped Gabe quite a bit too. "See? Now lets just get off this mountain so we're a bit warmer."
She took one careful stride off in the direction the others headed, keeping things slow because if they were going to go together, well, he needed to be ready too. But if they got going now they'd be off this mountain in no time.

Items rearranged to his satisfaction, West took a few more moments to simply stall and wonder how he had gotten himself into this in the first place. Well, what had to be done had to be done.
"All right. C'mon."
Hoping that no one was watching for the second time that day, West dropped to a knee in the snow and waited for Barth to climb on.
He squinted, looking ahead through the swirl of flakes kicked up by a sudden breeze. Was that Alwine? Fighting a yeti?

Kilometer leapt into the air due to the sudden outbreak in laughter. Oh Jack how that was loud and sudden. Landing back into the snow Kilometer arched his back. It just wasn’t his day, ending up with someone who giggles and laughs this much. She was a loose cannon and could fire at any moment.
Still in his alert yet scared posture he watched as she shifted yet again. Maybe she’s the broken one here... he thought to himself in response to his early concern that he was the broken one. Yup. She was definitely the broken one.
Letting out a mix of a meow and a hiss Kilometer batted back at LWs tail. His gas mask made the sound sound... odd.. to say the least. He made a small hop to get closer to the tail and then he alternated from his skeleton paw to his fleshy paw then to a mixture of both in a rapid fire fashion; Bat... bat... batbatbatbatbat! That tail was in his sights now. No way was he being surprised hit by it again! “I’m not being a baby!” He rose his voice back.
“And you don’t need to worry. I’ll be fine.” He reassured after she mentioned about finding something to keep himself warm. One of the good things about being dead is you can’t really freeze since there’s not fluids inside to get frozen! Kilometer could compare himself to a rock or something else that was solid yet dry if he wanted to.
Trot trot trot trot; Kilometer proceeded to follow behind LW again via the path she was plowing. Sometimes following someone who was larger then you had it’s good points. It’s be even better if she was a lava monster or something. He could follow the trail of heat.
Heat.. warmth.. “I’m more likely to believe that it’s just getting colder,” Kilometer mopped as he tried to listen for other voices in the distance. Frozen ears could faintly hear the rucks that happened up from and from behind. “More students must be being attacked. I guess this path isn’t safe either..” Just what everyone needed, more annoyances..
“I’m fine.” Kilometer replied back to her offer. In all honestly he would have been warmer being carried but he.. yeah.

"Got it."
Barth yawned once, then climbed onto the other demon's back. He arranged his arms around West's neck comfortably, coat dragging in the snow.
Without the lift, he would have preferred to stay at the bottom of the mountain and freeze. Now that he was arranged, he was already starting to doze off. The mountain was quiet, too, in its own way, and with the falling snow and increasing cold all he wanted to do was go into hibernation.
The only thing he was ashamed about was having walked so far in the first place.

((... D'AWWWW Johan. D'aww forever, thaaaanks ;_; <3 And poor Faint. I feel so bad that we're moving on. We shall meet you guys, and Quarria, and the others, in Christmas town!))
The ring of the bell was rather unexpected, but as soon as it was lifted over his head, he felt most of his wounds healing over, the frostbite that had attacked his limbs disipating until only a mildly uncomfortable reminder of the feeling was left. Gabrian let out a heart felt sigh, closing his eyes for just a moment in order to bask in the feeling; his body no longer felt like it was about ready to shut down from the cold, and he felt good. Or rather, as... good as demonly possible when taking into account he was still sitting on the snow.
A fact he correct almost instantly as he felt Alessa tug at his arm. He used the momentum to pull himself to his feet, and had been about ready to brush himself off and thank everyone when the ghoul decided to wrap his arm over her neck. He paused for a moment, clearly caught by surprise, but after a second's thought, relaxed into her grip; he didn't really NEED her to walk right now, but honestly, she was warm, and he was still plenty cold. Whom was he to look a gift horse in the mouth. He murmured a soft thank you under his breath at the rabbit girl and turned to Johan, "Thank you," he said firmly, "So much," he felt horribly stupid, just offering the reaper his gratitude, but it was all he had at the current moment, "When we get back, and I get back my instrument, if you ever need me to, or want me to, I'll gladly play for you," that was the only other thing he could think of to offer. It wasn't much, but it was something.
Last, but not least, he turned towards Faint, offering him a small, honest smile, "Thanks again for your offer," he murmured, "I'll probably take you up on it if I shift later. But for now... I think I should move on. I'm worried about my sister, whom I think trudged up ahead and I want to check on her," looking over his shoulder, he cupped a hand around his mouth and shouted out to the still battle Quarria, "We're moving ahead, my dear! Catch up to us when you're ready!" that done, he moved slightly against Alessa, as if signalling she could start moving, and then, they moved on.
((It's been a lil over 3 days since Gabrian entered - thus Exit post! Onto Christmas Town!))
