Zagula

PostPosted: Wed Jun 01, 2011 12:36 pm

Zagula was about to protest in fear of getting in trouble for abandoning an accepted mission but lost the words as she suddenly felt herself being dragged in the direction they had just come from. Luckily Zagulas height gave her long legs which in turn gave her longer strides which allowed her to keep up with Meitsus pace with little difficulty. The Chunin Exams. So Meitsu was going to compete to become a Chunin. She wished she could watch Meitsu compete but due to her current inability to see that was impossible but at least she could spend the time with Meitsu at the festivites that went on during. Strike that she would be spending time with a clone of Meitsu. not the real one. As much as she appreciated the thought it wouldnt be the same. Not to mention the fact that if something happened to Meitsu during the exams the clone would disappear and Zagula would find herself alone in a festive area unable to see anyone or anything that was happening. The thought terrified her. "J-just pl-lease be ca-areful." She said to Meitsu quietly with a trembling in her soft voice. She knew that people werent supposed to be allowed to die during the Chunin Exams but she also knew it wasnt impossible. And even if she did come out fine if she was to exhaust her chackra and the clone were to disappear abruptly something could happen to Zagula herself. Not to mention suddenly having no comfort in a place she couldnt see would probably throw her into a fit of panic.

Suddenly desiring more than her friends hand for comfort she wrapped both of her own arms around one of Meitsus (Meitsus clones) arms and held onto it tightly. though she knew it still didnt feel the same. This Meitsu being a clone and all but it would have to do for now. For now all she could do was pray that the real Meitsu would come back to her alright.

Drake watched as Takera sealed Samahada in the scroll, then told him to not speak anything about this. Drake had already knew he wasn't going to. Lifting this weight off his shoulders brought him a bit of peace to his mind. But, hye knew what he ahd to do next. As soon as Takera left and closed the door behind him, Drake immediatly got to work. He grabbed together everything he had and put them into his pack. Then, he grabbed his door key and left the room, turning only to lock the door behind him. He went down to the stairs all the way to the front desk, then handed the key back to the Inn-keeper. "Sorry, things have turned up and I'm leaving" He told the man. The man looked a bit surprised, then said "Well, alright. But, can I ask you something?" He said to Drake. Drake pondered for a moment, wether ot not he should stay, then decided to listen to what the man had to ask. "Well, your a leaf ninja, and we don't see many of you around here. Are you here for the chuunin exam?" the man asked him. Drake was surprised the man knew of the exams, but then squashed that surprise. It was completly possible the man had heard of the exams, as did mainly everybody. "I am" Drake awnsered the man. "Well," he sad, "You should know the exams are in the village of Gryu'jiong, located in the north od the country.". "Is there someway I can get there quick? I fear to be late for the exam." Drake asked the man. The man stood there for a few seconds, then said "Yes. There is a carrige that comes to the village from Gryu'jiong, mainly as a trading route. But, you might be able to get passage to the village with their help." Thanking the man for the information, Drake asked him where to find the carrige. "It's not far from here acctually. Just as soon as you leave the Inn, take a right down the road, then immediatly left. Follow the road down till you see an area for carriges to stay till they are ready to leave. Just ask around there, and you should find the one you need.". Again, Drake thanked the man, then left the Inn. Following his directions, it took Drake several minutes before he found the place. There was only three carriges, so hopfully the right one would be here. Drake went up to one of the people who were standing next to a carrige just right of the entrance. "Excuse me," Drake said to the man, "Is there a carrige from Gryu'jiong here? I need to get to the village." The man turned to Drake, who said "Yes. This is the one. What do you need, my young shinobi?". "I need to get to your village for the chuunin exams, and I was hoping you could give me a lift." Drake said to the man. The man rubbed his chin, then said to Drake "Alright. It'll take a few hours, but you'll get there, don't worry." Drake let out a breath, happy that he was going to be able to get to the exams. The man told him to just sit at the passengers seat in front, as it would be a few minutes before they were ready to depart. Drake did as he was told, waiting in the seat for awhile, till the man had linked up the horses from the nearby stable, then got into the seat next to Drake, and, once they were out of the area, taking abit to get to the main gate, they were on their way to Gryu'jiong.

Nova retry

PostPosted: Sat Jul 02, 2011 11:49 pm

Nova walked out of the ninja academy tying the forehead protector around his neck. The headband was soft and made of cloth similar to cotton and was died a nice blue color and had a steel plate that normally would be worn to cover one's forehead but he wanted to make his own look with it by placing it around his neck covering his face and nose. He stood as the wind began to blow making his white and black jacket blow back and forth with it. His spiky black hair following the clothing with the wind. Nova walked down the streets as the wind became strong and began to whip at his face, he pushed through to the spot he had always gone to get away form all the stress of school and life in general. He came to a cliff where he could sit and let his legs hang off and flow with the breeze. It over viewed a lake where he use to go and train for tests at the academy and also just be a kid and play in the water and build sand castles and mess them up. Now all the kid stuff is over and he had to become the shinobi Nova had always wanted to become. "Oh how someday i will be a ninja that everyone fears when they hear the name Nova." He said to the open air imagining of the time and the look he would have. He let out a small sigh waiting to think of what to do.

After taking some time he stood and took up the offer his teachers proposed to him. He was going to be leaving for Gryu'jiong to watch the chunin exams. Nova wasn't entirely what to expect except a large crowd full of people who loved to see the competition of youth being breed to kill. "Who knows maybe it'll be fun and i'll get to meet some cool new people." He said with a laugh at the idea. He began to think about how much the world of shinobi is screwed up but it was the way life was run even if he wanted to be the one to end all pain. The only thing was he wasn't sure how to stop it all. "One day i'll find the key to world peace, even if it's not the right way to do it." Nova said with a mixed tone knowing that he would become a very famous ninja. He soon reached the gates to his village leaving his childhood behind knowing when he would return form Gryu'jiong he would be a different person.

Ishinon smiled as he had finally graduated from the academy and recieved his forehead protector. His eyes would be stuck on it for a while, as it felt unbelievable for Ishinon that someone like him could become someone so amazing. Ishinon would head to the place he was staying while staring at his forehead protector before putting it around his arm when he was inside his place. Ishinon would grab something to eat quickly and get ready to leave for the exit of the village, smiling, proudly now. Atleast it was something he did when he was on his own. That Joona is quite amazing to, wonder what rank of ninja he is, I should have asked him before. Was in Ishinon's mind as he was heading for the exit of the village where he was told to meet up, having his new things with him that he had gotten on graduation, and soon was standing at the exit wondering if he was on time or not.

It was some time after Joona had left Ishinon to do his packing. The young man had done exceptionally well and had finally been recognized as a Kumogakure genin. The chuunin smiled to himself as he packed his small knapsack. His trip was going to be a short one since he was needed back in the village as soon as possible. Joona was to get to Gryu'jiong in two days and find Ishinon's next teacher before having to return by the next day.
General Rai Oh, i have no doubt that your pupil will make a fine teacher for this boy. thought Joona as he recalled the conversation he had had with the commander of the country's eastern militia. The genin in question, Notwen Uchiha, had made quite the impression at the exams. Not only was he able to get past the second test with an injury, he was also able to advance to the second round of the tournament. "Well, if i'm to get to him in time before the tournament ends, i'm going to have to leave now." With that said, Joona shouldered his knapsack and left his home.

Minutes later he had arrived at the gate leading to the north, and as he looked around Ishinon was just coming down the path.
"Congratulations on graduating, Ishinon. Beyond this gate lies the northernmost area of the land of lightning, where the chuunin exams are being held. On your way there you will be starting part one of your training; refining your ninjutsu, taijutsu, and genjutsu abilities at the same time. While walking at first, you will first transform into me, then create clones of yourself in your transformed state." Joona took the opportunity to show Ishinon the correct progression of seals starting with the Ram seal, continuing with the Snake seal, and ending with the Tiger seal. An illusory clone appeared with no deformations before dissolving into thin air. "It may sound easy, but now you will have to concentrate on weaving your hand seals while moving as well as keeping the transformation intact. We will begin this at a slow pace and pick up speed while we progress. You're only allowed four breaks so better use them wisely. Any questions?" Joona waited for Ishinon to inquire about his next challenge. After about two minutes he began to walk. "Alright, you may begin when ready."

As the day wore on, sounds of what seemed like that of steel smashing into steel could be heard echoing from the backyard of a descent sized house. Inside of this yard, two people were sparring weaponless. These two people were Yoshima and Takeshi Kaguya, father and son (respectively). The two were going back and forth between offensive and defensive positions. There was a grin on both of their faces as the sparring continued, which had been going on for over three hours. As Yoshima went for a strong side kick, Takeshi jumped up and planted both of his feet on the one foot and pushed off, making him backflip away from his father. The face of Yoshima canged from a grin to a slightly sour expression as he watched his son land a desant distance away from him. "If you are that confidant... maybe we should go full contact." Yoshima stated bluntly as he stepped back a half step and got into a lower stance with a more closed guard. "If you insist..." Takeshi responded with a sigh as he stayed in the same stance and guard. In a flash, they both charged at the same time towards each other. Once in striking distance, Yoshima did a feint front kick, and then quickly followed it with a turning kick aimed for his head. Takeshi knew what his father was doing, so he didn't even flinch when the front-kick came. He instead bent down very slightly, then as the turning kick came, he pushed up and caught the kick on his neck but nothing happened. He locked the foot with his neck and head as he continued to go up and ended up planting his father on his back and punched at his neck, only just stopping so that a piece of paper couldn't even pass threw the gap. "I believe you're dead...." He stated as he got off of his father and extended his hand to help him up. He father sighed and nodded as he took Takeshis hand and helped himself up. "Still haven't lost... don't let that get to your head though...." Yoshima stated as he dusted his kimono off and started to walk to the house. Takeshi stayed where he was and nodded. "Yes father, over confidence clouds the mind and defeats us before we even begin." He replied like he was reciting it from a book. "Good, you have learned much... much more then I can teach you. I believe it's time to get you a new teacher... maybe someone who can help your..... abstract style...." Yoshima stated as he stood outside of the building. "Come.... we shall find you a new teacher...." He added to his comment as he entered the house and then exited on the other side and walked down the street of cloud. Takeshi nodded as he then jumped the fence and caught up with his father in order to go and fine a new trainer.
For some reason, as Takeshi and Yoshima walked through the streets of the village was abnormally quiet. Nether of them could figure out why this was. The general stores were closed but the resturants and bars were still open. They desided that it would be a good idea to enter one of these stores to find some information on what was happening. They desided that it would be safest to enter a family dining establishment instead of a bar, where there might be some intoxicated people. Inside, the building was packed as there were televisions everywhere, all on the same channel and turned up. It took a long while for one of the servers to even notice the two enter the building. She walked over to the two Kaguya men and bowed slightly. "I'm sorry, but we are over our allowed seatings so I'm going to have to ask you to come back some time later." "I'm sorry ma'am but we are not here for the food services, I was actually wondering what these people were watching that seems so important." Yoshima replied as they continued to stand in the crowded doorway. "You don't know what's going on?... I'm sorry sir, these are the Chuunin exams. The best of each countries best young talent go to compete against one another in various tasks and combat in order to go from the rank of Genin to Chuunin. Only the best of the competitors will gain the rank." She stated as she looked back and noticed that there was a re-play of Netwon Uchiha's fight against Ichimaru Uchiha. "That dark skinned boy is from this village, He won this fight against Hatari Uchiha." She stated as she quickly bowed stating that she was leaving and went back to serving out some more food. Yoshima and Takeshi looked at each other for a moment and left the building. As they wandered down the streets, Takeshi was thinking heavily and it was something that Yoshima could notice. "What's on your mind Takeshi?" He asked as he looked over to him. "I'm going to go to these exams... Upon noticing the images, this... Netwon Uchiha person... was able to win his fight even when having only one arm... That kind of fighting determination is something that would be useful... Plus he might be able to teach me a few things." Takeshi explained while still slowly walking. "True, but did you notice where these exams are taking place?""All I know is that it's in the country... I couldn't read the village on the bottom on the screen.""It's in Gryu'jiong, north of us on the main route. You may want to hurry that way you can still learn from those still competing." Takeshi nodded and the bowed to his father. There was no need to speak anymore, so Takeshi took off on a full run, leaving the countries hidden village, heading to the village of Gryu'jiong to learn from those who were ahead of him in skill.

Takera followed the path back from Gryu'Jiong on foot. He was offered some mode of transportation equivalent to what he'd seen Drake arrive in, but he needed more time to think and it wouldn't be beneficial to get lazy now after everything that's happened. He recalled the moment when the prizes were to be handed out.

---------------------------------------
Flashback Start
---------------------------------------

After having the medics look over him, Takera began moving down the hallway towards the staircase that went up to the next floor. He made it a few steps up when he heard footsteps in the hall below him. A moment later someone had turned the corner. "Oh. There you are, Takera." The man said in a modest degree of surprise. "Your match with Saikoro has started. They're waiting on you." he added on. Takera turned back to look at the shinobi talking to him. There was a moment of silence between them as Takera considered everything. With a deep sigh Takera scratched his head. "I really don't feel like fighting anymore right now. I have more important things to focus on that I've been neglecting." Takera remarked before turning back towards the stairs and resuming his slow climb to the top. "A-Are you sure?" The man asked. "Quite sure." Takera responded with a wave of his hand as he kept climbing the stairs.

He made it a few floors up before he found himself on the same floor that the VIP room was on. The whole time he'd slowly risen to this floor, he'd been considering where he'd go from here once it was all over. As he stepped off the staircase and up onto the solid floor a girl with dark skin and black hair moved passed him towards the room. He tilted his head in curiousity and slowly followed. She entered the room, but Takera chose instead to simply lean against the wall next to the door and listen in. After he announcement that things were over and the prizes were to be handed out, Takera removed himself from the wall and returned to a standing position. He waited for her to come out before recieving his reward and then descended back down the stairs of the building till he reached the bottom floor. Takera raised his hand at the common remarks by some of the shinobi and workers around the building he'd passed by and simply nodded his head or gave short replies such as 'bye' or 'thanks' depending on what was said. After leaving the building he made his way through the village and to the main exit.

Flashback End
---------------------------------------

Takera raised his head to look around at the area around him. He noticed things were a tad chilly and the ground was a bit rocky, but there were fields of grass in the distance and the land looked undisturbed. "Hm. Rather peaceful." He noted as the breeze blew over the path and his hair swayed some. "With this new turn in my life, I think it's time I stopped letting myself fall prey to my emotions and make something of myself, but I'm gonna need someone else I can trust that I can work with. I'm not suited to fight alone." Takera remarked as he rubbed his chin considering everyone he might possibly be able to team with. Notwen crossed his mind and he began to wonder how well a combination of himself and Notwen alongside their summons/puppets would go. The potential was limitless, but at the same time, it seemed to good to be true. Takera's mind wandered to the subject of Sorain, but immediately, as powerful as Sorain was, he always drew way too much attention and bad things to himself anyone around him. Not being sure he really wanted to continue down that path, Takera wondered if any of the people he'd faced in the exam or seen there might be capable as well. Being sure most of them resented him, his mind came back around to a null point. He still wasn't entirely too sure who to pair with, but he also felt like there was someone he overlooked among the possible shinobi. He took a deep breath and his walking came to a dead stop on the path. He was roughly 1/3 of the way back to the Village Hidden in the Clouds before he stopped completely.

Oasis nodded her head gently and smiled "Nice to meet you Kyu." Oasis states to the shinobi with the interesting skin-tone. The rest of the interactions in the group were of no importance to her so she made a quiet and really mostly unnoticed retreat. She however was stopped when a woman entered the room and told them that the exams were over. Oasis was glad to hear that, she was tired of being shown how inferior she was. She quietly got in line and received her 'thanks for participating' reward seeing as she was certain she had failed just about every event, and she knew she failed the combat portion. "Hatsuma... I think I'm going to go back home for awhile." she states quietly as she slipped the little prize away and walked away from the group. She was feeling wore out, and homesick. She gave a light motion of a handwave to the group before trotting away from that area. She was going to go home, but it wasn't to rest. She was going to go home to get stronger. She wouldn't be made a fool again.

Not long after things had calmed down in the VIP room a woman with caramel complexion and long black hair entered, followed by the guards that had been standing at the door. She proceeded to declare the end of the exams, much to the relief of most of the people in the room. Personally, Notwen thought that the atmosphere in there had become too charged for comfort. The caramel woman then went on to explain to the contestants that even if they had not made chuunin rank this time around it wasn't a reason to give up, and that becoming a chuunin was no reason to slack off either. After that she had them line up in two lines so that the guards could give them their awards: two checks(one from Kumo and the other from the tournament), and a paper with the names of three brand new genin fresh from the academy that were to be under his tutelage.
More?! thought the dark-skinned blonde with a groan. Ishinon and Nova were already a handful and now he had to take care of three more? The woman explained that the new ID would come in the mail after about a week. And with that said, the woman simply left. The room had become a throng of people after everyone had been given their prices. Not liking crowds Notwen decided that it was time to return to the Hidden Cloud. Hoisting up Novvus' carrying case on his back, the crippled Uchiha proceeded to take the stairs, which were a bit crowded as well. There were people congratulating him all the way down for passing, but there were also those who from different countries that gave him a sour face. Ignoring those he finally made it to street level, where he bumped into his grandfathers Pathik and Dharo.
"Well, well, well. Look at what we have here..." said Pathik gazing down at Notwen with a smile. "We were wondering what took you so long to get home." At that moment Notwen's eyes began to tear up. How long had it been since he last saw them. A half year or more probably.
"Grandfather!" he cried and rushed over to hug the bald bearded man, hugging him as tightly as he could with one arm.
"Is that the way a new chuunin should act? Dry your eyes, my child. This should be a day of happiness." said Dharo, joining the two for a group hug. Notwen looked up and saw that tears were rolling down his cheeks.
"Then why do you shed tears, grandpa Dharo?" asked the crippled Uchiha, though he already knew the answer.
"I shed these tears out of happiness, my child." said the blind man. After a few minutes of silently enjoying the embrace of his father figures and sharing what had happened while they had been separated, Notwen pulled away.
"What will you guys do now?" he asked. Pathik answered for himself and Dharo.
"We will be heading back to Wind Country. Don't you worry about us, Notwen. You have your entire future ahead of you. We will send postage every once in a while to let you know how we are doing. Concentrate on your training." The dark-skinned blonde hugged his grandfathers again.
"Thanks for coming all the way here to see me. I promise i will make the best effort to be the best ninja i can be." With that said, Notwen began to walk home to Kumogakure, waving back at his grandfathers, who were also waving goodbye.

* * *

The dark-skinned blonde had been walking for several hours non-stop to make up for the time he had spent with his grandparents. He could see a lone figure standing still on the road. Wondering who it was, Notwen sped up a little, training his sight on the figure until he was about ten yards away. The figure turned out to be Takera, much to the dark-skinned blonde's surprise. Filled with curiosity as to why he hadn't shown up at the final match, Notwen ran up to him.
"Hey! Takera!" once he was at the white-haired boy's side and caught his breath the crippled Uchiha continued. "What happened to you back there?"
PostPosted: Tue Sep 27, 2011 1:45 am

Takera looked up as he heard a familiar voice. His hand twitched as a reaction, but Takera stopped himself. There wasn't a need to put his mask back on at this point. Things were going to change from this point on. Turning back, Takera noticed the crippled shinobi hurrying towards him. Oh, it's Notwen. Takera thought to himself as he turned around completely to face the crippled shinobi. Notwen asked what had gone on back during the final round. Takera's eyes looked off down the path for a moment as he thought about his answer before returning to meet Notwen's. "I lost interest in the fights. The last one in particular really kicked my resolve where it counts. I'm sure that guy 'Saikoro' would've probably run my head into the ground given he was able to make the earth itself belt in not only his own stadium, but most of the others too. I have some other things I need to do that I've been shirking, so I figured there was no harm in stepping out peacefully and moving on. If anything, we'll probably be sure to see that man when the chance to move up to Jounin presents itself, so it's not like we won't ever have another chance to fight." Takera explained steadily without pause. Takera scratched his head a little and his eyes turned away from Notwen again. "I've got so much to do right now, my heads spinning. Too many new responsibilities. I'm not looking forward to the new group of Genin. It's not to say I'm bad with kids or can't teach. It's just that I'm too laid back for that kind of responsibility. I still haven't found hide nor hair of my brother or any clues to finding him and I fear my style is incomplete." Takera said, this time catching a brief pause in the middle. He shifted his shoulder up to get the bag on his shoulder to move farther up and rest a bit easier on his shoulder. "Other than the obvious, how have you been holding up?" Takera questioned.

The first thing Notwen noticed upon Takera turning around was that he wasn't wearing the mask. The dark-skinned blonde's hazel eyes widened in surprise, but he didn't comment on it. At least not for a while. When Takera replied he said that he had lost interest in the fights, the last one breaking his resolve. There was a lot of truth in what he said about Saikoro. As much as Notwen wanted to exact his revenge on the man for taking his arm, he knew that it was utterly impossible in his given state. The dark-skinned blonde continued to listen to the other Uchiha, eyes never leaving his face, but only because it was a habit to pay attention to someone when in a conversation. Notwen empathized with Takera's feelings when it came to the new responsibilities that came with the promotion to Chuunin, especially the team of Genin. The white-haired boy went on to state that he still hadn't found any information about his lost brother and that his style was incomplete, and after a brief pause, asked Notwen how he was holding up.
"I'm a little worn out from the excessive fighting." answered the dark-skinned blonde. "But the second fight i had with Ichimaru elsewhere agitated the internal injury Saikoro dealt me at the time he messed up my left arm. The only side-effect i'm aware of when it comes to that injury is the inability to sustain techniques over long periods of time the way i used to." Then a thought occurred to him. "You wouldn't happen to know of a method to treat it would you, Takera?"
PostPosted: Tue Sep 27, 2011 8:52 am

Saikoro belted out a loud yawn, his hand raising up to lazily cover his mouth as he leaned against the gate post of the hosting village. He had been there for quite some time, boredly watching contestants, officials and tourists alike exiting the village in there cumbersome fashion. He wasn't all together sure if it was just the fact that no one was looking in that particular way or that everyone was being extra cautious in avoiding him but for the entire time he found that not a single soul dared to look at him despite the fact that he was the first thing to notice out the gate. It was of no consolation to him in either way though, as it was only Kyu that he was looking to meet with. At the point he had reached it was nigh impossible that Kyu hadn't realized what his true identity was and that meant that it was time for them to talk... one that either ended in more bloodshed or a new ally, either way it was time for him to take the next step in his plans.

Takera listened as Notwen explained his fatigue and how fighting multiple times with Ichimaru had pushed his injury. Takera had thought at this point the wound was healed and he had simply lost his arm, but it seems the wound was still festering. Takera recalled the incidents where he'd managed to heal Drake of different types of ailments through a green glow emitted from chakra around his hands. "I don't see any harm in trying. I've done well to heal pretty bad stuff before, so I guess it wouldn't hurt to give your injury a go. I'm not a medic though, so you'll have to excuse me if this hurts at all." Takera remarked as he held his palm face up and out. His hand glowed lightly with green chakra and then a short moment later it was bursting with green chakra emitted from it. Takera made a quick one handed handseal and a liquid formed gushing from the center of his palm, fusing and reacting with the chakra to given it a more rounded glistening appearance. Reaching over he placed his hand across Notwen's shoulder and the green chakra began to react, seeping into his shoulder in an attempt to slowly remove the dead cells still lingering and regenerate the bone and muscle that was left. Takera moved his hand along the front side and top of Notwen's shoulder, slowly. The shoulder began to fill in just a bit and the slowly, but sure the dead cells were being contained the muscle and bone tissue were regenerating. After a few minutes Takera's hand came to a pause and he slowly began to pull his hand back from Notwen's shoulder. With it the bubble slowly came forth as well holstering a collection of some blood, dead cells, and otherwise. Takera moved over to the side of the path and released the bubble with all it's contents. The bubble descended into the grassy and then a second later split apart from solid to liquid again. "That should do it. So, how do you feel now? That wound seems to have been festering for some time." he stated as he turned back from the side of the path and took a step towards Notwen. The green glow had all but faded from his hand. He took a second to pop his fingers lightly before he sighed. "Doing this stuff always leaves my fingers tense and locked up. Probably cause I'm not a medic, but either way. You should be just fine now. I'd give your shoulder a day of rest to be certain as it's only just now regenerated and you don't want to risk anything, but that doesn't mean you can't do anything at all. Just take it slow and steady for a while. Takera added before stretching his arms.up and then placing his hands behind his head in a relaxed demeanor.

Drake continued walking, slowly making his way through the path that led back to the village Hidden in the Clouds. He had left soon after the final match of the exams, and had hoped to make it back some time soon. Though he watched the final match, he had decided not to stick around for the those who were awarded with the right to be known as Chunin, since he already knew that he wasn't going to be one anyway. No point to sticking around when there was no reason to, drake decided to head back to Cloud before making his way back to the Leaf village. After walking for abit, Drake thought he could hear someone talking. Taking a moment to stop and listen, Drake followed the voices for a moment, till he got close enough to hear better. From what he cold tell, there was two people. One voice he recognised: Takera. The other he didn't know. Hearing a bit more, the one Drake didn't know explained how the injury a "Saikoro" dealt him had effected his ability to sustain jutsu, then he asked Takera if there was anyway he could help him. After awhile, Drake could almost feel the chakra being used for healing, so he took a look over to where the voices were. From his vantage point, Drake could see Takera holding his hand out to the the brown-skinned person, who wore what looked like a fighters outfit, with ninja sandals, and what looked like some kind of armor piece of their shoulder. From what Drake could tell, the perosn didn't have an arm at all. 'That must be the injury that Saikoro dealt him' Drake said to himself. Drake watched as Takera did a quick hand sign, the released green chakra into his hand, beginning the healing jutsu. Takera placed it on the guys shoulder, forming some kind of bubble over the shoulder. In a bit, Takera pulled his hand back, pulling the bubble with him, as well as some type of red goo inside of it. Takera hovered the bubble away from him, then released the jutsu, dropping the red goo onto the ground. Takera then asked if the brown-skinned boy was fine now, then cracked his fingers, saying how since he wasn't an actual medic ninja, his fingers sort of stiffened from a medic technique. After giving the boy what sounded like doctors advice, Takera stretched his arms out, and held them behind his head. Drake decided it was time to approach, since he had a funny feeling they were gonna find him anyway. Standing up from where he had been crouching, Drake started to walk over to the two, holding one hand up as a gester that he was saying hi to them. "Takera. Been awhile since we last saw each other. Lety me guess. You became a Chunin?" Drake asked Takera, then turning to the guy who was standing there, asked "Whose this guy?".

Hatsuma had been successful in gaining enough recognition to gain a rank fir her village. She grabbed the envelope of money as well as the slip of paper of which named a team of genin she would pick up from wind country when they returned from their current outing. Hatsuma looked over the others and then to Oasis before choosing to speak once again. "I believe we should continue with the task we were given before returning to wind country, new ranks should not impede upon past duties and we had made great progress on our mission before coming here." Hatsuma explained to Oasis as they had left the VIP room to traverse the village streets once more. There really was little need to remain here unless Oasis wished to do something before they left. The people she had met here were certainly diverse and most were skilled or had some sort of raw power, they were certainly different to deal with compared to the beasts of the desert ravine which she had grown accustomed to slaying. She was actually looking forward to returning home. not because of the new shinobi who awaited her command there, rather she missed the feel of the sun and sands, the smells and sights of the area. She was ready to resolve their mission and return home triumphant in their tasks.
