~Time Skip~ Sky's had turn red at first, but as the motion of the ocean continued she calmed down. She would never in a million years think that Adney would have done such a thing. The woman cuddled her boyfriend. She was really worried that he didn't see her as a girlfriend anymore. The woman smiled and let out a chuckle. "So now Cedric and Cam can't tease you anymore." She pointed out and laughed at her boyfriend. "Nor can I."

 Show Me How To Lie....
Laying on his back, he wrapped one arm around Sky as she snuggled into his side. He chuckled in responses to her statements, turning on his side to face her and draping his other arm over her. "Oh, I'm sure my brother will find some way to continue teasing me." he twirled a strand of her hair around one of his fingers, letting it fall after a few moments. "Though I would prefer not being teased. It tends to come across as a challenge. And I'm not very good at turning down a challenge." he admitted, flashing a grin.

Sky got up from her bed. They had spent the night before lighting up each others world. Now it was time get to work. "I wont tease you at least." She said with a wink as she walked over to her dresser. She pulled out a pair of slacks and a dress shirt. It would be a miracle if Adney were to ever see her in a dress. "You can rest as much as you'd like, but I'm going to work." She told him as she pulled on the clothes. She was a little late and knew that she would have to chew gum to make sure her breath was fresh. "See you." She said before walking out of the room.

Show Me How To Lie....
Allowing Sky to get up, he watched her as she moved about. He was pleased that his wishes against being teased would be followed, he wasn't a fan of it, but he chose not to comment further on the subject. He wasn't surprised when she mentioned going to work, he figured that had to be it, and he smiled faintly as she turned to leave. "Bye." he called after her, choosing to stay in bed until he heard the front door closed. Picking his way out of bed, he collected the clothes strewn on the floor. Folding Sky's clothes from yesterday, he set them on her bed before leaving her room and pulling the door closed behind him. He crossed the apartment, entering the room just long enough to toss his clothes from yesterday into his laundry hamper and select clothes for the day. He showered quickly, exiting the bathroom fully clothed and using a towel to rub his hair dry. Things to do, places to go, people to see; it would be an interesting day. Tossing the towel in his hamper, he slipped on his shoes, grabbed his keys, and pulled on his coat before slipping out the door.

Show Me How To Lie....
Unlocking the door carefully, the was glad then that shopping bags had handles so he could hold it on his wrist long enough to unlock the door. Entering his empty apartment with a shopping bag in one hand and his fiancée's hand in the other, he seemed to remain in a rather good mood despite everything. Slipping off his shoes by the door, he released Sky's hand to take off his coat and hang it up; he was a bit meticulous about it, but he didn't plan on changing it. "Strawberries now or later?" he asked, wanting to know if he should put them in the fridge or not.

Sky joined Adney in dressing down into bare feet and coat less. She looked up at Adney and again poked her belly. She still wasn't totally used to the idea that she was pregnant and it was like she was trying to feel something and it was in vain. "Strawberries later. The fruit cup is good for now." She answered him with a smile. She then walked over to the coach and sat down.

Show Me How To Lie....
Putting the strawberries away for now, the man moved towards the couch as well. He was about to sit when his phone went off, causing him to rifle about in his pockets a moment before eventually finding it. "Hello?" he waited patiently, already knowing who it was. "Okay. I'll see what I can do." he paused again, waiting for a response on the other end. "I'll stop by tomorrow at the latest.... Okay. Bye." he hung up, tucking the phone back in his pocket. He turned his eyes on Sky, a look of amusement crossing his face. "So I know we just got back, but it seems my niece decided today was the day." he already knew it was a girl, even though his adopted brother hadn't mentioned it on the phone. "They're at the beach now, but if you'd rather rest, we can go see them tomorrow." he didn't want to push Sky into something, though he was quite eager to welcome the little girl into the world.

Before Adney could even finish the woman was up and putting her shoes back on and her coat. "We are going." She stated firmly. She was excited and nothing was going to stop her. "Should we bring them anything?" The woman asked as she thought about ways to not be rude. She was still the new comer to the group and it was important to her to do everything right the first time.

Not bothering to hide his relief at her decision, he slipped his shoes back on as well. At her question, he paused to consider the contents of his fridge. If he had any sort of fish then he would say yes, but since he didn't, he shook his head. "They're probably set. If they need anything I can always run back and grab something." he didn't know what would be open on their way, so he didn't think much of it. He pulled on his coat, one hand in his pocket as he picked his keys off the hook by the door. Glancing at Sky to ensure that she would be up for the trip, he pulled open the door and motioned for her to step through first. Since it was still early in her pregnancy he wouldn't argue, as the journey wasn't one that would be a hard one anyway. Besides, he would save the inevitable arguments for later in the term.

Sky smiled as she nearly danced out of the apartment. She was just as excited as he was to meet the baby. The woman grabbed his hand once doing so. He only needed one hand to close the doors. "I wonder if she had a boy or a girl?" The woman commented with a thought. "I'm sure our kids will be great friends." She added with a thin blush.

Pulling the door closed with his free hand, he allowed himself to be pulled along. "I already know." he flashed a grin, heavily amused. He didn't know the full name, only that Cam would one day be calling her 'Izzy'. "And of course they will." he agreed, choosing to ignore her slight blush. Drawing attention to it would make her mad, and he wasn't totally sure why she was blushing anyway; so why bother? Ah well, nothing to worry about now. They had a baby to greet and good news to share.

Sky had gone to the bathroom for the hundredth time that day. What else did pregnant women do but go pee all the time. She had been a little quiet and secretive the last couple days because she was feeling early contractions and didn't want to bug Adney about something that would still be days away. The woman pushed back her hair as she looked in the mirror. Her face hadn't changed just the rest of her body. She didn't even bother to lock the door knowing that if she went into labor that Adney would bust down and break the door to get to her. She didn't like being fused over. She sighed and turned to exit. She was just waiting for Blair now. She got the door partly open with the feeling of something wet going down her legs became noticeable, like she had no control over her bladder.
the woman moved the door a little so that way she wasn't in Adney's view and l pulled out some toilet paper to clean up her mess. She reached as best she could to her thigh and wiped up a bit. Once it was back up she noticed it was brown like bodily fluids. That was a good sign that she was in labor. "Great now he'll fuss over me again." She mumbled before tossing the paper into the toilet and flushing. She then walked out of the bathroom. She looked at Adney before mumbling out curses under breath. "Stupid red-head knocking me up. Now I'm in labor." She then looked at the door hoping to make an escape. "I'm going for a walk." She told him making a bee-line for the door.

Show Me How To Lie....
Having let her go to the bathroom without further fuss, she'd been in and out of there since she had started to show, he looked away from the television at the sound of her voice. Seated casually on the white couch, his legs were crossed on the edge of the coffee table. Sky was mumbling, and he only caught a few words here and there; 'stupid', 'up', 'in la-something'. In la-something? His mind was speeding through possibilities, but there was really only one possibility. After a moment of being frozen, he leaped up as she passed the couch and headed towards the door. Her reaction sealed the deal, and the man knew. "Oh no you don't. We're going straight to doctor." he moved to the door, coming to stop between her and it. He began slipping on his shoes without moving, pushing his arms through the long sleeves of his coat.
"I am going to grab the bag of things from the closet, and you are going to wait patiently by the door and not run off. Otherwise I will have no point but to fuss over you and the baby for weeks." he threatened, something in his eyes showing that he was dead serious. After a moment he stepped away from the door, moving to the closet a few feet away, pulling open the door just long enough to reach in and yank out the bag hanging on a hook that had been left there specifically for that day. Slinging it across his hand, he took a moment to frown at his hand. the skin on his palm was white, even paler than the rest of his skin, and he had lost most of the feeling in it. He had been lucky that it hadn't needed to be amputated, thanks to Pyry's efforts, but it was still odd to only feel the outline of the strap and not the slightly scratchy material of his bag. He had stopped hiding his scars after Sky had admitted that she didn't let hers bother her, and so a white slash was clear on his neck as well. Most of the other scars were hidden by his clothing, but he pulled the collar of his coat up and around his neck. "Now we can go." he moved back to the door, doing his best to remain calm.

Sky was about to make a bolt for it when he proclaimed that he was going to fuss for weeks over her, she didn't care if he did it to Blair, but not to her. It was every man, woman, and child for themselves in this matter. She thought over if she wanted to make a run for it, but decided against the idea. Just to be on the safe side. "What makes you think he's coming soon." She hoped that he didn't hear what she said when she was making comments about him. She let out a sigh. At least the doctors said that having her walk around would help the baby come faster. She could at least walk around.
