Upon getting out to the the deep area's of the ocean, she took that moment to shift forms, nothing fancy, just a soft glow of sky blue swirling masses went around her body before a burst of light filled the waters for only a second.Her legs were now gone, replaced by a deep blue in color fin of a mermaid She was now wearing a little blue shell like top. The straps were covered in soft white and blue pearls, her tiara remained on her forehead as she began to swim off to the northern area's of the ocean. She always knew when she was getting close once the water began to get much, much colder.If Leander was still paying attention, and kept that little pearl she had given him he would hear her voice in his head. "Hi there...Not going crazy without me yet right?" She teased playfully. "Just want to make sure you know where everything is..If you get hungry, there's plenty of fruits in the house. And you know where to get the water! "

Shivering at the sudden change of tempature, the more she went on, the colder it got. Normally it didn't have to much of a affect on her as she was always in the water, but the more time she spent on land, naturally her body would get used to the heat.Swimming off into a deep cave she used a bit of her power to give off a hint of light, there was no light in these places, the sea below was nearly pitch black. With the glowing orb in her hand she found her way to the next entrance, a curtain of sea weed blocked the mouth of the cave in which soon would lead her to her Kingdom. As she entered, there was many, if not thousands of strange glowing white orbs that floated inside the palace and outside. This giving it a decent amount of light as she swam on, entering through the 'window's. The palace itself was one gigantic shell, but had that of a castle look to it. As with all the many other times, she breathed a soft sigh of relief, seeing the Mystic Pearl remained safely encased in it's protective magic barrier she had placed around it. Her long blue locks floated about around her form in the barely moving current as she wrapped her arms around the pearls protective barrier, seeming to be hugging it as a gentle warmth filled her heart.She could feel the others, her family, even the King. Everyone was connected by this very pearl, but they were not here. She just knew they were alive through it's most amazing powers. "...Everyone... I miss you..It's so lonely here..I barely even feel alive anymore...not..until recently...In you're honor, I will continue to do what I have for so long...someday I will find a way to see you all again.." She closed her eyes,letting her form float to the ground some as she leaned up against the pearls barrier which seemed solid. "Mother...father...guess what?? I've met someone...I ...really like him but...I don't know what to do..I'm..who I am, he's just a human..Most humans look at us as creatures, monsters...What would he think of me if he knew? I can't bare the thought of losing him like that.." She spoke softly, though just like every other time she never got a response. She updated them, everyday she came here. But nothing...She was purely alone and even she knew it wasn't going to change..

Slowly drifting off to sleep, She was just about half asleep when she suddenly jerked awake, her deep blue eye's narrowing faintly. She could hear it,no, feel it! The pain and suffering, the fear in the most innocent sea angels. Azura quickly swam out of her home, and through the caves as fast that she could.The whalers were back and doing there dirty work attacking a family of orca! She would have teleported herself out, but she couldn't do that in the water, only on land strangely enough. "I'm coming! Fight them! " She said worriedly into the orca's mind. The cry s were heard all over the area now, the family's of orca whales watching in horror as one, the baby...was being hauled up onto the ship! It had...two harpoons stuck into it's body, one at it's tail, and the other near it's stomach would be. Azura was just nearly there, already her eye's filled with tears just at the sight. "STOP IT!!!" She screamed out, and suddenly, the waves would begin to crash around the ship, the mermaid suddenly just jumped out of the water and grabbed a hold of the rope along the ship, shifting into her human form as she climbed up before they could get a chance to stop her.."You....are the real creatures! The monsters on this planet!! " The poor baby orca was slowly losing it's energy, it's vital signs becoming very faint as she rushed over to it and attempted to free it. It was hard to believe she had done this so many times before, but nothing of this bad yet. It didn't even seem like this baby whale would make it with the injuries it had taken, that is..if she was able to get it free...

"Now's our chance! Get that damned Mermaid! We will not go back home empty-handed. We've lost to much because of her!" The cries of the baby whale softend.....sofend...and completely ceased. Blood spilled from it's wounds over the deck of the ship, as distracted and horrified as she was to see this, her distraction lead to her not even hearing the human's words. She just knelt down beside the lifeless baby orca, crying. The cries of the whales still in the water grew much more sorrowful. Soon Azura would fell something wrap around her and tighten as she was caught into a thick netting. "You're love for these pathetic creatures will lead you to you're death. Maybe we should gut you too, and see what a Mermaids insides look like. I've thought about doing that for far to long, though, I won't. The price I can get for you, oh, I can just see it.. Wave good-bye to you're little fishy-friends..! " The captain of the ship said coldly, stepping over to her. He laughed, letting the netting over the ship just a little ways,so she was just danging over it inside the net.

All seemed to be in there favor, for once. But that was soon to be proven wrong as one of the larger fully grown whales leaped out of the water, grabbing the top of the net into it's mouth as it slammed back down into the water, taking Azura with it! As soon as she was in the water, she shifted back to her mermaid form as to not drown, though she was still stuck in that darned net! The other whales began to slam there massive tail fen into the ship, all now acting vicously toward them. "Leave! Go below, now!! You'll be caught!! GO NOW!!" She yelled to the whales, there was no hope for the baby, none at all. She would regret this, but she knew if she tried to get back up there knowing there was no chance to save it, she would only be putting herself at more risk again. "I'm so sorry....!!!" Azura was then pulled off by the very whale that saved her, followed soon by the others that seemed to escort them below to help her out of the netting...

It took many, many tries to get out of the netting, she had to get the whales to bring her to the bottom of the ocean in order for her to grab an empty, rather sharp shell to cut herself free. It look at least 10 minutes of cutting until she managed to get out. She didn't quite let go of the net, though. Letting it float in the ocean like that would pose a threat to any other sea animals. As soon as she was free, Azura just sighed softly. "I'm so sorry.....I....I couldn't save her...."

Leander had shrugged a bit to her first question I'll try to make it... he sighed softly, shaking his head Why can't you just take me? Do you not trust me? he shook his head a bit more, going to just sit under a tree, looking up a bit, to the sun and sighing a bit, soon resting his head against the tree and shutting his eyes, soon just falling into a sleep, not like there was anything on this island that could hurt him anyway, he was a rather light sleeper!

Leander's eyes suddenly shot open the moment Azura got within seven feet of him, him suddenly springing to his feet and drawing the Revolver, then blinking a bit as he saw it was just her, looking away a bit, he sighed, shaking his head and dismissing the Gunblade "Did you have fun with your fish friends?" he asked, having no idea how ironic it was that he said that! He only meant since she loved them so much, but he had no idea she was an actual mermaid! "Why didn't you want me to come anyhow?"

Leander shrugged a bit, his head going down to the side slightly and him shutting his eyes "You'll meet a quick end if you're not always read-" Then he suddenly felt his head being patted... His eyes opened to her, looking at her and... A long moment of silence came over the two as he just stared her down sorta! "..."

He soon just shrugged "We usually play with our pray before that..." he said, suddenly findng his feet moving to follow her to where she was going "Interesting... They'll get whats coming to them, don't worry" he said, he'd do it himself if he found those jackasses! "Trust you? You don't trust me with telling me where you're going..." with that he soon redirected to another way of stones and finding one near the waterfall to go and sit on, bringing his knees up and looking around where he was, perhaps going over here to... Seem all mad for the distrust!

Leander didn't respond to her first comment, he didn't find that to be all that funny really! Then at her next question, he nodded "Yeah, plaay, the fun way..." he said with a slight grin! Meaning for that to sound just wrong, he was just joking of course. "Whatever..." he said shaking his head to what she said next "I can't think of anything..." he said, then, at what she said next, he blinked a bit, that was surprising to hear! "You gonna blackmail me with this? If I have to answer, no one can know..." he didn't want anyone knowing about such things about him! "Well... Ah... Don't laugh, but uh..." his face was suddenly started to get a little colored with red just at that thought! "M-Mermaid... How pathetic is that? I'm in love with a non-existant fish-person... B-but I have a reason!" he then stood, walking to the edge of the platform he was on and facing the other way as he spoke, he seemed a bit hesitant to tell her, he found it rather embarrassing! "I-I... Well... I keep having this reoccuring dream, it first happened the night I came back to the past... I'm in water, able to breath somehow, then, this beautiful blue-haired mermaid shows up from behind me, swimming around me once in a playful mannor, giggling a bit as I couldn't really move, I was getting a bit scared about all the water... Then suddenly, as if she sensed my fear, she swam straight up to me and grabbed me into a gentle embrace... And then suddenly kissed me... It was then that I woke up... I wanted to see so much more... I haven't gotten a good look at her face until just now when I was asleep, and... Wait... Now that I think about it she looks a lot like..." he then suddenly turned his head to her, just staring at her for a long moment! As if to finish his sentance by that, saying her!

Leander blinked a bit at her nervousness, that was rather unexpected! "Mermaids don't even exist... I'm wasting my time... Just normal girls are soo boring..." he said, sighing softly, that was mean to all the 'normal' girls in the world! But it was what he thought... At her continued nervousness, he just shrugged a bit "It's more stupid... It's not like she exists..." Why was he telling her about his romantic dream? He had been trying to ask her out just earlier! Then, at what she said last, his eyes went to the ground for a moment, then went back to her "You're the one from my dreams... That's why I fell for you so quickly, the long blue hair, the azure eyes, there's no mistaking it, it has to be you... Plus... You can breath underwater you said, and those sailors called you a 'creature!' How do you explain all that? Will you still find excuses?" he was almost sure she was one suddenly! But that could've been just part of his own hopes... Hoping she would be, he'd believe her if she said she wasn't, after all, that'd be pretty strange...

Leander raised an eyebrow slightly at what she said first "Why does it sound so much like you're trying to hide something when you say that?" he asked, then his eyes went away slighty "I don't think so... There are plenty of things that're unordainary that we don't attack... Something so beautiful should be classified as that..." he said, then shook his head "There'd be nothing wrong with it..." then at her next nervous attack, he was sure he had her now! But, she still didn't say she was... Then again, he could just be mad! Maybe he should lighten up on the poor girl, he might seem rather wierd right now, but at what she said last... That wasn't right, that wasn't true, so, he could think of but one thing to say... "...Good thing I'm a Lion then..."
