Yeah, real sax. They actually have them come in different colors and they even have silver or black & silver ones. I wanted to get a colored saxophone (it's just some sort of laquered paint over the brass) but my mom found this gorgeous pastel multi-colored one that I got the Christmas before last. I love it to bittles.
The inspiration for Saxophone Muse was a mix of my player's pride and getting a book of Mucha's works. I just wanted to do a Nouveau piece and I had recently gotten back into playing it.

@Kira, you know you could just try buying some clay, or going to some pottery/arts craft place that has a kiln and making your own, wouldn't be too hard to execute I don't think...
and I know my mom was hesitant about ordering stuff online too but I made fuss becuase there's SO much costume stuff I can only get online...she got used to ordering. Just tell your folks to not worry, Ebay is pretty much totally legit, I've never had a problem. Plus it's for religion!...of course that bit might scare them more....O.o
Yes, you are a genious when it comes to layouts.
And, if you knew me you wouldn't suggest anything to me involving fire. sweatdrop
