"Everyone is doing fine, Elnara has been home schooling Garrick and Hana now these days, and Lore helps when he's not working. Triton, is teaching but he's kind of considering of just focusing on the family dojo...."
Mainly because Triton really didn't like teaching high school kids about the joys of physical education. Rather he didn't like having to pull teeth every single time he wanted them to do something, running the family dojo sounded far more appealing.
"And it would give him time to be home with Iris more often."

"That would be nice for him," Daeron smiled brightly. "It's always good to spend more time with your family."
Even as he said it, he realized the irony of what he'd said, and he laughed. "Well, at least that's how I would feel if I had a family of my own. And I know, I've been avoiding my family. Still."

Lin laughed at that, it seemed poor Daeron kept saying the wrong thing, not that she could blame him.
"You should though visit your family, see your mother and father, or at the very least see your nieces."

"I should," Daeron chuckled. "Really, I should. I don't feel hesitant to do so anymore, either. Earendil assures me that Father has changed, and I'm quite eager to see that for myself."
"It's true," Earendil grinned. "We just had a whole discussion about that with Luk and Halmir and Arthael."

"We did," Lin nodded in agreement, "And I'm sure you'll love talking to Regan and Aranxia."
They were very interesting young women to talk to, and Regan was always fun to be around.
"Well then, you can add that to your to do list."

"And why not?" Daeron quipped. "The list finally finished itself off. You know, all those things I finally had the time to get around to."
"Everything except get married, you mean," Earendil grinned.
Daeron reached out to smack his brother upside the head, but Earendil ducked, laughing, and he missed.
"That's one thing that's never been on my list," the elder brother said dryly. "Stop it. You sound like Mother."

Lin couldn't help but chuckle at Daeron, because really Daeron was going to be the only one in his immediate family not married yet.
"It's never on anyone's list, it just happens," Lin replied, "But you know, there is a slight chance your mother will be wondering."
She trailed off and shrugged at him.

"What do you mean, slight chance?" Daeron groaned. "It's going to be the first thing she asks me when she sees me! The one thing on her mind!"
Earendil laughed heartily. "Probably true!"
It was no secret that Luthien wanted to see all of her children happily married.

"What can I say? Your mother wants to see you all happy and married," Lin replied, "Tinuviel had to go through it, Earendil had to go through it, but you have avoided it, so you might as well face it."
Which was probably why Earendil could laugh about it now, Luthien wasn't going to ask him about his love life anytime soon, at least not about the marriage aspect she hoped, unless Luthien wanted a wedding. She wasn't so sure about that.

"Still going through it," Earendil said meekly, raising his hand slightly. "It'll end eventually, I'm sure. You know how it is."
Daeron chuckled softly. "Yes, I do. And if I have to face it, ah well. I just hope she doesn't go on about it constantly. I can handle it if she just talks about it once and then lets it go."

Lin laughed, there was a twinkle in her eye at the way Earenidl meekly raised his hand. Probably more about the fact he was still hearing from his mother after all this time.

Earendil laughed. "Probably not. It's Mother. Enough said."
Daeron chuckled softly. "So what are the three of you up to for the rest of the day?" he asked. "Any plans?"

"Just visiting people," Lin replied, "It's been a long a while, and Miyuki doesn't remember anyone since she was so little."
"And there's the surprise back in the house," Miyuki reminded her mother.
"I was trying not to think about that one, but yes, there is that too," Lin replied absently with a chuckle.

Earendil laughed. "Yes, there is that too," he grinned. "But Miyuki, you shouldn't be too nosy about it. It's for your mother first."
She could share in the joy of it later.
"But on that note," he added, pushing himself off the bed and stretching a bit, "it still gets dark quite early, we should get a bit more visiting in before then."

"We should," Lin nodded as she scooted Miyuki off her lap.
Miyuki though pouted, because even if it was for her mommy, she liked surprises too. A surprise for her mommy was just as good.
"Where should we head to next?"
