 Show Me How To Lie....
Giving a short nod to show that he agreed to her comment, his attention shifted to the food when it arrived. He flashed a smile at the bartender in return, lifting the top bun of his burger to inspect contents. The burger looked to be one of fairly good quality, and the bacon was present which was the most important factor. Cheese, lettuce, tomato, and... were those onions? Oh no, not on his burger. He didn't mind onions, he just didn't want them on his burger. Setting the onions at the edge of his plate, and putting his tomatoes to the side for later, he replaced the top bun back where it belonged. "Certainly looks good." he commented, glancing towards Sky to see how she was enjoying it.

Sky smiled at him. She was fine with her burger. She took note of how Adney liked his. When she learned to cook on a grill she was going to make him one. "It's not too bad. It's not a high end burger." She commented to him. She started to bite down on hers. It probably showed that he had a large mouth. After a few bites she then looked at Adney then swallowed. Behind him she noticed some kids acting like idiots. "We I have kids. I hope they don't act like them." She commented.

Show Me How To Lie....
Selecting one of the tomatoes he had set aside, he ate that before giving his burger another glance. "Compared to what I ate for a good ten years of my life, this is pretty high end for me." he chuckled quietly, lifting the burger to take a large bite. He hadn't realized how hungry he was, but now that he had food in hand, it was far easier to tell. He stopped short of taking a second bite and turned to glance at the kids she indicated. "Eh, they're probably just having fun." it was none of his concern, as while he vaguely recognized them as students of the school, they weren't currently in his classroom. Frankly, he didn't care so long as they weren't bothering Sky or himself.

Sky rolled her eyes. Adney was probably right that they were just having fun. Even if she was a person who wanted to be like one of the guys she didn't think it was that great. Proving to herself that she was still a girl deep down. "So Mr. Adney what do you think of your future now after five years?" She wanted to know what his plans were now. They could have changed in the last few years.

Going back to enjoying his burger, he set about half of it back on his plate. Moving to pick up his drink, he glances at Sky with a light smile at her question. "I have a lovely roommate and girlfriend, so I think it'll turn out pretty well." he told her, a flirtatious tone slipping into his voice. "What about you, Miss Sky?" he turned the question on her, wanting to hear whatever it was that she was thinking about her future at this point. The kids behind them had calmed and moved away, so he paid them no mind. Selecting a fry from the basket between them, he began to eat this as he waited for his answer.

Sky blushed a little. She wasn't that lovely. She could point out a million things wrong with herself. Stubborn, pig-headed, need she go on and on. She finished off her burger and then turned to the fry basket. "Well you see I'm thinking about a job change so I can spent time with this redheaded guy that caught my eye a while back. That way I can work during the day and still pretty much have the same job as I did before." She answered him. She wanted to know if he agreed with that idea.

Finishing his burger, the redhead decides that he rather likes the taste of the food here. It wasn't classy, but it was good and it was simple. He was pleased that she didn't argue with his description of her, selecting another fry from the basket. "I don't know. I hear gingers are a tricky bunch." he waved his fry in her direction, smirking as he spoke. "I'm told they don't have souls." placing the fry in his mouth, he decides that he definitely likes the food here. The fries were crispy, but not hard; he hated soggy french fries.

Sky laughed at her boyfriends words. It was kind of hard to think of Adney as her boyfriend. She grabbed a fry and took a bite. "I thought so too, but I think he has one. I mean he puts up with me." She pointed out. She had to say it. She was a hard one to take care of. Adney was going to have one fun ride with her. The food wasn't too bad. She only could think of one other place that she liked better than the dance club.

Continuing to smirk as his girlfriend spoke, he shook his head in response. Taking another fry from the basket, he paused before moving to place it in his mouth. "He has put up with far worse, I am sure. You aren't so bad." he reassured her, indulging himself in a few more fries. He didn't intend to take more than his fair share, and was careful to keep track of the level of fries in the basket. Taking a drink of his whiskey, he notes that the glass was nearly empty; he wasn't the sort to chug his drink, that just wasn't how you drank whiskey, but he was surprised that he hadn't been paying more attention to it. Glancing back to Sky, his expression righted itself, and he smiled.

Sky smiled. She was done with her jello so she had ordered a beer. It was prefect to wash down the fries with. "I'm sure. A really famous brother. I wonder how many times he has been woken up to a fan girl knocking on his door." She commented. She was now a little drunk. Just enough that once she was done with the beer she may act a little fun and have issues getting home with safety.

A seasoned drinker, Adney had little trouble holding his whiskey. However, Sky seemed to be adamant about her alcoholic drinks, and so he ordered a soda after he emptied his glass. They both couldn't be drunk, after all. "Never, actually. That's part of the reason he stays with me on his days home." there was also the whole 'family is important, I miss living with you' sort of thing. The two brothers were extremely close, and it had been the oddest thing when Cam hadn't come to Reed's with them the first time. However, that hadn't lasted long, but now they were apart far longer. "The crazy fans don't know where the famous one's brother works."

Sky giggled as she continued with her beer. "Take the rest of the fries. I'm getting full." She told him with a smirk. She then picked up the longest fry in the bunch and looked at it. "We'll the famous brother is now going to have to deal with me." She joked then looked from the fry to Adney. "We could always do a Lady and the Tramp thing." She told him as she placed it up against her lips. She was going to let him make a move before thinking about eating it.

Show Me How To Lie....
Choosing to accept her gift of half the fries, he was still fairly hungry, he selected another of the smaller ones. He preferred those the length of his pinky of shorter; any longer than that was slightly ridiculous. "Oh, he'll hardly mind. He's a sucker for pretty girls." which was very true, and since Sky had fairly nice legs, Cam wouldn't mind her at all. He looked at her in surprise at her suggestion, briefly trying to remember what Lady and the Tramp was about. It took him a moment, it had been a very long time since he had seen any animated Disney movies, but he briefly remembered dogs and some sort of love story. "I'm afraid we basically are a lady and a tramp." he chuckled, still not quite sure what sort of thing she meant. "Though I can't say I know what sort of thing you mean. It's been a very long time since I've seen that movie."

Sky decided that this time she was going to down her fry and next time they could do it. Once she was done chewing her fry she answered him about the movie. "Who's the lady and who's the tramp?" She joked. It could be argued both ways. "When we get home we're going to look this up on youtube." She answered him with a smile. She thought it was a good idea to give him a hint at least. "It's the scene with the spaghetti. You know the one were the cook guy was like 'this is the night'." She told him seeing as she could jog his memory.

Amused at her question, he simply shakes his head. "I believe the answer to be fairly obvious. I am not a lady by any means." he points out, continuing to eat his way through the remainder of the fries. Still quite amused, he nods agreeably to her statement about youtube. If it would make her happy, he didn't mind looking it up. He paid close attention to her attempts to jog his memory, but he merely frowns. "I really don't remember. It's been almost twenty years..." that was a long time, the vast majority of his life, and remembering Disney movies had never been the top of his list.
