*Bringing his power up to meet hers, Koth focused and hardened the NRGY. A lump formed between them, which rapidly became a small rod, and at the end was a rounded and dangerously sharp blade*
A DRK axe... This should serve you well.

'Thank you, Master.' Sparrow said, taking the axe and turning to give it a test swing. She stumbled a bit, her muscles still adjusting to heavy use, but kept her grip all the same. 'I'll return when I've got the supplies.' She said, shifting the axe into a comfortable position before starting the trek down the hill and toward the perimeter of the meadow.

*Koth nodded in acceptance and returned over to where he had hung up the rabbit. He brought it back over to where the Craw Worm was slain, then went off to fetch wood himself as well. He figured it a might easier to bring wood to the worm than the worm to the wood, so he took to beating on trees until the wood cracked, split, and separated from them.*

Sparrow arrived at the far side of the field, having found one of the bigger oaks. She felt a pang of something, as though the task appeared too daunting, but shook it off. This was no way to think. Shifting her grip on the axe, she hoisted it up and took a hefty swing, the blade chipping into the wood. Staggering a bit from the force, she regained her steadiness and attempted to pull the axe free, finding that to be a more difficult endeavor than anticipated. The clone jammed one of her feet against the trunk, pulling on the handle with all her might. Without warning, the blade loosened, sending her toppling head-over-heels into the soft grass with an 'oof'. The axe having landed a short distance from her, she fumbled around, grasping it again before clambering back to her feet and launching a second swing into the oak.

*Koth butchered the trees and piled up some tinder and kindling, then heading over to where Sparrow was to help fell the trees*
Heh... Need some help?

She had managed to chip away at the one trunk, not getting the full way through. '...Yeah.' Sparrow admitted, not liking to have to get her master's assistance in something but knowing she would require it.

Focus on the blade... Feel that it is a part of you... If you sync with the DRK within you will cut through the tree like butter.
*Koth let a hand glow with DRK, his claws extended, and he effortlessly swiped at an overhanding branch, severing it cleanly. He caught it in his other hand as it fell, and tossed it then to the side*
Give it another try.

Sparrow listened intently, grasping at the hilt of the axe before preparing to swing at another nearby tree. She closed her eyes, becoming mildly aglow with DRKNRGY. It wasn't difficult to connect with that part of her, it was her, at least the only aspect worth paying heed to. The clone heavily thrust the axe into the trunk, sending a sharp wave of DRK arcing through it as well. It creaked before toppling off to one side while the blonde straightened up, seeming pleased with herself.

*The dragon laughed heartily, thoroughly pleased with Sparrow's progress*
Not bad... Not bad at all. We should have plenty now, grab what you can and make it smaller if you need.
*Hefting a log over his shoulder, Koth walked off back to where the worm lay, dividing the wood viciously and setting it up in a pile*

Sparrow did as commanded, slicing the fallen tree trunk up into more manageable portions before hoisting and struggling her way back with the DRK axe and a pile of wood clutched in her arms. When she'd finally staggered over to Koth, she lowered the lumber down and straightened up, rubbing her arms and looking on at the fallen worm.

Plenty of good meat in this one...
*Koth shaped the woodpile into a small teepee and let out his fire breath upon it. The stack set ablaze nicely, and Koth grabbed two sticks roughly three feet in length. Focusing DRK into them, they solidifed and became resistant to fire. Handing one of them off to Sparrow, he sliced chunks of the worm out with his claws, skewered a slab with his stick, and held it over the flame*
This should work. What do you think?

Sparrow adopted a quizzical expression, holding her own skewered worm meat over the fire. '...Yes?' She tried after a moment, not understanding why her opinion would matter under this, or really under most circumstances.

You seem unsure...?
*Staking his stick in the ground to let the meat cook more on its own, he fetched the rabbit Sparrow had caught and held it carefully by its legs over the fire*

'I don't understand why it matters, what I think.' She said, watching her master.

I would not have created you... for the purpose that I did... if your opinions did not matter.
*He held the rabbit by both hands now and rotated it over and over bit by bit*
I wish you to be my equal.
