I know we're going to have a summer forum and such, but what if we expanded to another guild during the holiday breaks? We could have a whole guild for Diagon Alley that we can shop in and hang out together.
These two could be sister guilds, if we can make it work. During the school term, we can shut down the Diagon Alley guild so this one will get all the attention, and not die. Let me know what you think! I don't want to step on anyone's toes!
The only drawbacks I see are 1.) It might be too expansive, and 2.) Zoona's guild is called Diagon Alley, however, I've been looking at it, and I think given our guild's history we could pull it off sooo much better. We just have to be on the lookout for her rambling posts.

One day if the Guild gets bigger, maybe we can split up the classes by grade...
It's kinda annoying that in some classes, a charcter who is older or younger is learning the same material.

It's kinda annoying that in some classes, a charcter who is older or younger is learning the same material. i agree but it would definitly need to be one day, right now we dont have enough people razz

I own another guild that im not using for anything! I was wondering what I could do with it, and I could make it into a summer/holiday/shopping forum biggrin have diagon alley and the leaky cauldron, all the students homes under a sub forum, platform 9 3/4 and everything! I already have alot of subforums so money isnt a problem for me smile maybe we can even add in a ministry of magic biggrin amoung other potter things, so when people graduate from hogwarts they can still be connected to the guild.

Well you and or I need to edit the schedule to include the words (1st term) (2nd term) for our school year, so people don't get confused and think that when Jan 1 comes around they move up a year in school. Another thing that needs to be done, which you can assign to one of the crew to do is to list out beside the names of the students what year they belong in, that way confusion wont happen in the class room.
I hate to say this but it needs to be said, Sing you control to much, the reason you feel so overworked is b/c you insist on doing everything...you have a crew for a reason we are here to help with the work load.
Better yet, how about you just put out a new announcement and have people PM me what year they are in, and I can do the work required for what I suggested.

I'll edit it right away. and really nerevar, i wish the rest of the crew were a bit more like you. I have gotten pms from many, most are in college and far too busy. They are busy enough with their teaching jobs, they can't deal with the work load. And i would list their years, but some of them haven't even chosen they're years, and a few of them switch without telling me. If it causes confusion for the teachers, then when its needed they can ask what year are you in type of thing, plus the students who know what their year is and dont really change it, already have it listed in their posts.

When I join a crew, I do wish to do the job, not just sit idle by lording over the other members. (I know that's not what the others are doing, I'm just saying.)) I'm in college as well, but I do have the great ability to make time, for both.
Maybe you need to include what year you wish to be in, in the join request application.
I know a lot of the more active members have posted in there post's what year they belong to but not everyone does it, or they don't have it listed all the time. I've also noticed that not everyone follows the rules about posting your house in there post style...that's annoy as well.

Alright, perhaps I'll ask kaydot- to add that into the home page, or when i pm members giving them their schedule, i can ask that to them, until he does ^^
Yes, I know a few people simply write it on the top of the post, but i don't see whats so hard about just adding a crest. I'll try to look for that a bit more now that you've made me more aware to it, maybe just shoot out a quick pm asking them to include it ^^
