Why is this SoA joining the pride/how long have they been in the pride?: A false seer told her that the spirit of her dead mate was waiting for her here. Quif! This one would be perfect for an RP with Sikitiko, if you're interested~. As a Caplata, she has the ability to summon spirits, so she could show up and irritate old grumpy-pants for awhile if you wanted. Also, Sikitiko is always up for RP with anyone within the pride, though clearly she'll be anything but nice.

I'm gonna try to get my cert symbol concepts up and maybe get that "official" within this upcoming week, guys.
It's been crazy-busy for me. XD Also, if anyone wants to kind of test the waters with some voodoo pride RP,
you guys can try RPing with each other? I'm gonna try and jump back into the RP world, too. > 3>
I am expecting bumps in the road of voodoo pride RP since I feel like a lot of info is rough, but we'll see. XD

Personality: Fon Youn lives for pleasure and love, and no matter how many times he is scolded, threatened, bribed, or otherwise induced to be productive and useful, he will quickly lose interest in those tasks which are not fun and exciting. He enjoys the reverence he is sometimes afforded and will happily take advantage of it to get out of trouble and to impress ladies. Fon Youn is a party boy, and could very easily be the sort to sneak into a medsen fey's stores for some fun substances to share around to make his gatherings of friends really pop. If he gets caught or in trouble, he will squirm and cajole and generally do anything he can to get out of being punished. As for the Loa, he truly believes in them, but he has never been possessed by one, to his knowledge. He is convinced that it's because his own personality is too powerful and thus they just need to summon more awesome Loa for it to work with him.

What's their story?: Born into the pride to a young mother who really had no business being pregnant, Fon Youn was named by someone else who hoped he would grow up to display hidden depths of character that his flighty mother never did. So far he has been quite the disappointment in that respect.

Personality: Ghislaine is fervently religious and her greatest joy is in serving the Loa. She feels the Loa are more of a family to her than most of the other lions in the pride, besides the Mama, of course, and one or two Shrinekeeps. She loves communicating them, teaching others about them, and feeling close to them. She takes her responsibilities incredibly seriously, and her duties as a shrinekeep come before all else. She could talk for hours about the Loa, and always wants to learn what her elders can teach her. While she has an infinite amount of patience for things and time, she has very little patience with people, or more specifically, disrespectful or arrogant people. Therefore, Laine posesses a bit of a short temper, albeit only with those people who annoy her. She can sometimes get into arguements or be provoked, but she knows this is not proper behavior for a shrinekeep, so she is trying her hardest to improve her self-control in the face of trying people.

What's their story?: Ghislaine was born into the pride. Her mother died when she was young and never spoke about her father before that. As such, Laine was taken care of by the rest of the pride. She was incredibly lonely at first, and mourned her mother every day. She’d often go to the Hounfor of her mother and would pray there or simply sit there for the company instead of playing with the other cubs. One day, she left a bone there as an offering, and a feeling of warmth and security passed over her. She felt comforted and watched over, like she was being protected by something she could not see. and she realized that what she felt was a connection to the Loa. Reassured, from then on she worked to be a Shrinekeep in order to honor the Loa and keep her connection to them, and so that she might help others to respect and honor their own dead.

Why is this SoA joining the pride/how long have they been in the pride?: She was running from an abusive family, she was always picked on for being a 'tom-boy' she ran away from her pervious pride at adolesence to escape. She wondered around for weeks before stumbling in the voodoo pride they were able to use her strength and size to protect the other members. Since joining the pride she feel a sense of belonging and feels as if it was a sign of fate that she found the voodoo pride.

Personality: Samedi is a responsible lion who is dedicated to fulfilling his duties and would enjoy looking after those around him. Unfortunately, he does seem to intimidate or make people nervous with his presence, and his creepy job doesn’t seem to help. He tends to keep to himself to do others a favor, but is a bit lonely. If someone is bold enough to approach him, they will find him to be a very kind and generous individual.
Name of Parents: Mbaya x Ziara
What's their story?: He was born to a pair of reputable Houngan and Mambo, and his heritage combined with the reputation of his parents gave him a potential social boost. Of course, his being drawn to the tasks of a Pèseptè caused many others to regard him rather nervously, and his growing to a bit of an intimidating size hasn’t helped. He spent much time with his family, as his parents never seemed bothered by his calling and he did tend to get lonely. Their recent deaths have saddened the lion, and he feels that he needs to be there for his little brother more than ever, only his little brother doesn’t seem to need him around. He is trying to respect the younger lion’s desires, but at the same time wants to make sure Uovu knows that his big brother will always be there for him no matter what. He visits his parent’s Hounfor often, just to talk, in the hopes that their spirits might hear him and know they are still loved.
