"Aw, Holly lost!" Jillian said, disappointed. She did have a good view of her aunt too, who looked heartbroken. "No surprise. Really, does anyone give a crap about Holly?" Katie asked her sister, who put a hand on her chin and thought. "..No, not really." "Probably why everyone on the island doesn't own sports cars." Same reason Gaston hasn't bought everyone their own jetpacks; no one gave enough of a crap. "Want to go consult her? She looks like she's crying." "Do we honestly care enough?" Katie crossed her arms, staring at her sister bored. "..Nope! I gotta go check on my weed then, see ya." With that Jillian walked away, leaving Katie to stand there awkwardly.. before walking off to Adell's to watch his TV and eat his food. /Exit Jill and Katie

Of course Holly was crying! She not only lost, but killed so many little bunnies and squirrels. Next time, she would sacrifice something bigger.. like that panda bear that's said to live in the forest. Since killing a lot of small animals that she catches with little treats during a demonic ritual didn't work well enough. When Yoakim Jr said he wanted to practice satanism with her, her eyes shined with joy; someone who she can finally form some type of bond with! And maybe when he's ten years older.. too bad Theresa dragged him away before she could accept him into her circle of one. So Holly pouted, and looked down, sniffling quietly to herself. Maybe Satan didn't know she loved him enough? Yes, had to be it! If not, she might have to turn to another religion.. like being an athiest! To worship whatever god the athiest worship! With that last thought, she left. /Exit Holly

Maxwell nodded, job successful. It appears that now the hands of the island, nay, all humanity lies in the hands of Celeste; who he assumes is a wizard, and Frederick; the rogue. An odd mix, but it could be worse. It could have been two barbarians who don't even use Rage. The young man began to walk home, a bit behind the monk and the paladin, making the three look like a very odd group of LARPers /Exit Maxwell, Cid and Suzy

Frederick did a small happy dance, that really just involved flailing his arms up and down in front of him. His parrot, who until now has been hiding in a tree, even flew down, and landed on his shoulders. The parrot flailed his wings in front of him in the same fashion too, making the two look completely ridiculous. Today was a glorious day! He's not only king, but he can date Celeste.. for a day. Which is better than never, like he thought would happen. The young man scurried over to Celeste, and poked his fingers together, waiting for her to finish with Freja~

Celeste relief at Freja's obvious understanding quickly dissolved into panic at that bit of a sparkle in the gril's eye that said she was probably twisting the goddess thing into something even worse. But Freja didn't mention it again and Celeste didn't need to hyperventilate about it just now.
Celeste smiled happily as Freja agreed to go to the theater with her on Monday. She nodded enthusiastically. "Sounds great!" But her good mood was short lived as Freja congratulated Freddy. Her eyes widened and her mouth actually dropped open as she watched Freja walk away.
Turning to Freddy she smiled weakly. Well, that had made Celeste feel really awkward. Taking a breath she tried again giving him a real smile this time. "Looks like we got ourselves a date." She held out a hand to him, because really, if they were going to go an a voted date, they could at least make it feel like it was real... "You ready to swim with... uh... sharks I guess?" She asked, reapeating Gladice and wondering if that was really the date. Maybe her and Freddy could skip that part and do something else?

Captain Big Daddy let out a soft chuckle of his own when she giggled against his chest. It made him feel that much better with this character to know that she found it humorous. He thought for a second about where he should take his damsel and gave her a big smile. "Captain Big Daddy is on the case!" Wait... that sounded like he was a lawyer. "I mean... erm... Captain Big Daddy needs to work on a catch phrase!" He let out a laugh and cradled her carefully as he took off running towards the exit.

"Not really, sharks scare the crap out of me." Who isn't scared of sharks? (well besides whale sharks, pussies) Anyone who says they aren't has never been in the water with a bloodthirsty great white! "Wouldn't you rather come home with me to watch the stars, and look for aliens, with my telescope?" He offered. Really he does that every couple of nights, you never know when aliens might fly above Nirvani to crown him king of all humanity for being the first person to talk to them! "I live in the forest, so while no one can hear your screams for help, there's also no lights out so the stars and clear, which means aliens are clear too!" Nothing wrong with what he just said at all.

Relasing a grateful sigh of relief Celeste nodded. She was super glad he wasn;t crazy enough to swim with sharks. After the last couple of hours she was pretty sure more than half this town was crazy, but atleast Freddy wasn't spouting some nonsense about faeries and spirits and magical potential. She liked the people of Nirvani, but they were too much like her Aunt for her comfort.
And, even though his last statement was a bit frightening, she just couldn't see Freddy meaning it in the scary serial rapist killer way. Especially not after the way he had rushed to help Freja. "That sounds like a much better date idea." She said, genuinely excited about taking their date to the woods to look for aliens while they watch the stars.
She motioned for Freddy to lead the way to his "home" in the forest. "So, have you actually found any aliens yet?" She wondered curiously as they walked out of town square.

Year 5 Yayy~ Goddess festival! ...Somehow, the Koyama's were the first ones there. Nanami blamed Yuuto; the man had been at their door early that morning, and had bellyached the entire time about being on time to these things. Apparently the past two years had been filled with tardies, and frankly, Yuuto was getting tired of showing up only to find that the festivities had already begun. And so he was quite content to be one of the first to stroll into the square, even though it was the Goddess festival, one of the stranger ones. The man really couldn't understand why this one was so popular. It was like a beauty pageant, shallow, pointless!
...Speaking of which, Nanami was also in a strikingly similar good mood, but for a different reason. She had not been happy by her brother's enthusiasm to be prompt, so to make her happy, Haruka told her the words every mother -- at least, Nanami -- wants to hear: she was entering the competition. She volunteered! Oh, Nanami was so excited, her daughter, finally showing an interest in this sort of thing! Nanami had once been excited by the prospect of entering and getting her chance, but by the time she was old enough, she had a baby to take care of, so it wasn't important. Now, she was living vicariously through Haruka. And making that quite clear.
Another family wandered into the festival area, the Park's! You'd think that after years of arguing over the competition, they'd stop coming. At least, Alex would. But it had turned into a tradition of sorts. River and Elliot loved all of the festivals, and even Alex had to admit, this one wasn't too bad. Even if he had little interest in the popularity contest or whatever it was, it was still a nice spring day, as it was always a nice spring day, and if the restaurant was going to close, then he might as well tag along. As usually, River and Elliot walked, arms linked, speaking softly between them, while Alex walked shortly behind his sisters. Maybe it was because he had nearly a full staff to help him out at the restaurant, but he was actually in a pretty decent mood. It wasn't so bad, this festival.
And here they were, Rory and Nat's Goddess festival debut! This was their first year, as they had moved in at the end of spring in year two. In year three, they thought it sounded lame and didn't bother going. In year three, they expressed some desire to go, but when they overslept, they didn't challenge it and went about their usual routines. But now, year five! This was the year! Yet again, they were out to crush the competition! But they weren't stupid. Natalia knew that there were lots of cute girls here, so if she wanted to beat any of them, she had to train. She wasn't ready for her turn. But Rory! ...Ehh, he was good enough. And so they agreed -- Rory would defeat them this year, and she'd get them the next. Best to spread it out over two years! Yes, it was brilliant! And so the two stood, off at the edge of the square, busy plotting quietly between the two of them. They hadn't succeeded yet, but they had been here for nearly three years, it was bound to happen eventually!

   Ah a festival~ Festivals were the heart of every town. The thing that breaths life and soul into the people so that the bleak and mundane days seemed just a bit better. Festivals were something great! So how could the Page family miss their first one in the town? Albeit, they were a bit early. But better to come before the party than after it. Besides, one of the main reasons Reed was so excited to have moved to this island was for the festivals. He was a man of celebration, and these were the times to do it. Plus, it was a popularity contest, what better way to get out there and meet people? Though Reed himself was a bit plain to be entering... Teetering along side her father was young Erika, her hand safely snug in his. She really had no idea why her father woke her up so early, let alone dressed her up in a nice dress. This morning, unlike others, he was loud, energetic, and joyous. Were these fes-ti-vels really that great? The girl rubbed her eyes and tried to lean onto her fathers leg as they walked. When she reopened her eyes, she saw people scattered here and there. Of course there would be people. It was outside. But why do they seem to be coming here? She tightened her grip in her dads hand as she thought of more people showing up if this many were already here. The third of the Page family, though not really a Page, was walking behind the other two. He had no clue to why he was even here. This morning Reed had kicked in his door and told him to get dressed in a nice outfit. And before he new it, the three of them were already on their way to the festival. Alastair yawned and stretched every five minutes like clockwork along the walk. Starting to wonder why he was here so early... Really early... And as they arrived at the festival itself and noticed how few other people there were he sighed. Reed got too excited... Alastair looked up and smiled a bit. After all, even if they were early...  The twins arrived together of course, with Hans and Una trailing not far behind. It had been awhile since Vladimir had attended a festival. But for some reason he really wanted to attend this one. Mostly because of his belief in the existence of fairies. Walter, Integra and Una seemed to back him up on this. Hans, Pip and his own brother still seemed skeptical on the issue of magical beings. Walter and Pip accompanied Integra, Ah festivals the one time he did get a break from the Sonata family. And thank bloody hell, thought the Brit as he lit up a cigarette and stopped to meet up with the twins and Germans they knew. __ And wandering like a lost Dog was Aleksey, carrying a bunch of Sunflowers. He wanted to hand them out to everyone at this little.. whatever he had stumbled upon. Honestly he had followed another bunny from his farm, and then a bee, and then a frog that led him here. In fact one of his little leading companions had stayed with him the entire walk from his farm to the Festival grounds. The Frog had been hopping along for some time before Aleksey picked the thing up and put it on his shoulder to carry it along with him. Now it sat croaking on his shoulder and sitting there like a bump on a log. Aleksey immediately started going up to people with a smile on his face and just handed them a sunflower each. He started with the Koyama's, then the Park's, then the Cameron's. When he had given them flowers he headed over to the other three that had come in before him. The younger looking ones. He handed them each a flower before walking up to the group that had just come in and mostly consisted of men. He handed the Twins, and co. flowers too before returning to a spot in the center of the festival to find other people to give flowers to. ___ "Well that was nice of him" Integra said with a smile as she cuddled the sunflower the odd man had given them all. "Yes. Anyways Ma'am i think we should nominate Dante for Queen, what do you think?" Walter laughed. "I am not a Que-" Dante started to protest. "Yes you are." Everyone but Dante said at once. "Fine." Dante gave a little hair flip. " Least im the best queen here." He said before he giggled. "If your Queen then im King. But i also say Integra could pull it off to. She's just as bad as you Dante." Vlad retorted with a smirk. "Vhat about ztat guy?" Una said as she pointed out Aleksey. "If i remember right his name ist Aleksey, from Russia. He ist vierd aber nice. Ve schould nominate him for King." Una said before she spotted River and waved to her. "Oh yes, Integy be a Queen with me!!!" Dante squealed as he ran over to Integra, they took eachothers hands and squealed and laughed like little girls. " We can rule the men with a.. ah.. with a good meal and clean house! Emiko arrived at the festival with the both of her daughters. Usagi had just come home for spring break and had told herself that she would have to go to a festival before going back to school. She noticed a few new people, but overall Nirvani wasn't all that much different than when it was when she came to visit during her winter break.
Though she wasn't exactly sure if she wanted to go to this festival or not Amaya decided to go anyway. She had been working pretty hard lately anyway, and perhaps she could finally make some friends if she did got out more, and if she did then maybe people would stop telling her that. She didn't really mind her lack of friends, but what she did mind was her family always lecturing her about it. [Nominations! Goddess-Usagi Yoshiko]

❀ ❀ ❀ || It was her first fesitval, and it caught her by surprise at how much beauty a town square could be dressed up in. She'd yet to make herself known on this Island, being only recently she'd actually moved there. She's spent most of her time indoors, being antisocial. She wondered deeply if people spread rumors like those in small towns usually did, though.... Nirvani didn't seem that small really. Dare she nominate herself to be the Goddess in this fesival? There were certainly other woman more qualified then herself. She felt out of place already, being alone wasn't the smartest thing to do, she wished her Grandmother was there.... But the elderly woman stated she should go alone, being an old woman would only get in the way. She traveled over to the outskirts of the Town square, sitting on a bench, watching everyone around her. "Maybe I should go mingle..." What was it with situations like this that made newcommers feel so out of place? So shy? Avikna would never admit she was shy, but in this kind if situation, she wished someone would approach her...

 Aleksey spotted new people, all girls too. Cute~ He smiled and came up to them holding his sunflowers in his arms and the Frog that followed him here still on his shoulder. He smiled as he came up to Emiko first. He handed her a flower before offering one to each of her daughters. "Pryvet. Im Aleksey. You having flower, da?" He said with a smile. He left the family be before he went after Amaya. He smiled and offered her a sunflower too. "Pryvet. You having flower. Im Aleksey." Aleksey said, he wanted to introduce himself to everyone and give everyone a flower. It made him happy to do so, and he wanted to share his happiness... this was the only way he knew how. When he spotted another pretty lady, Aleksey left Ayama once she had her flower and walked up to Avikna and offered her a flower. "Pryvet. Im Aleksey. Here flower for you." He said with a smile, the frog on his shoulder croaked loudly.

Her gaze rested upon it, remembering seeing other's with the same type of flower. "Thank you." She stated, hugging the flower gently. Wouldn't her grandmother be happy to see a sunflower, and it appeared to have seeds in it aswell. They could grow thier own sunflowers maybe... Her eyes traveled to the frog who spoke his own words, she loved animals... Frog's weren't the best looking animals in the kingdom, but this one had a certain charm to it. With chuckle, her eyes returned to Aleksey's. "I'm Avikna, Nice to meet you."

"Pozhalovat" Aleksey said with a smile. "It nice be meeting you to." Aleksey said with a smile before he half turned away from her and looked for more people who needed flowers. Dammit he was going to give everyone a flower if it killed him! but everyone currently had one. So Aleksey looked back to Avikna. "What is festival?" He asked, hell he didnt know what was going on. He just saw a gathering of people.. .after he had been lead away from his farm by wildlife once again, and had taken sunflowers with him. Okay part of that was a lie, he had seen some flyers up advertising for the festival. Still he didnt exactly know what it was about. "Goddess Festival what that be meaning? You know?" Aleksey asked in his Russian accent. His grammar was so horrible at times. which was all the time.
