Since starting the exploration of Yuran, night had settled over the land and then gone. Of course, Nai slept through the night and prepared her own food for her meals. Her supplies were starting to run low, so the girl augmented them with some animals she shot. When the sun rose, the girl woke up, cleared up her sleeping area, and then set off.
By mid-morning, the deer trail Nai had been following led out of the forest and into a tree-less tundra. {Not as bad as the name The Wastes, imply,} X reported in boredom before sinking back into silence once more. As she had been doing throughout her entire trip, the girl kept her eyes open and her body alert. Once, the girl quickly stepped back at the sound of a rattlesnake and took the warning to mean that changing directions would be good. Thus, she left the deer track and wondered through the lonely countryside of Yuran alone. Well, almost alone. Sloth and X were still with her.

The horse gallop as the wooden wheels hit a few bump of rocks that tip the wagon a few time. It's not a comfortable ride on the wooden ride, but it's hell a better than walking. But at they ride alone in the open plains, things will not be quite so soon. For off a few meters away to the right, 5 charlies pop their head off from the bushes. They sprinted forward, making their way tours the wagon, hoping to still any edible food. But not only the hounds are coming from the right, but also from behind. 5 more ran tours to the second wagon from the back, having the whole pack taking at once to the two cargo. Charlies has been a big pests around the world.

Upon hearing a slight growl in the distance, Cassandra immediately released the ball of holy light in her hand. It expanded almost instantly, revealing to her hidden enemies. In this case, the enemies were charlies. "Guys! From the right and rear!" Upon shouting this to warn the others, she drew a arrow on her longbow and after stringing it back enough, she released the arrow on one of the charlies as soon as they popped their heads out of the bushes, maiming one of the charlies. Though, she didn't end there. She ran to the other side of the carriage, aiming to cut the creatures off before they could reach it. By holding her bow at the non bladed end, she began swinging the bladed end at the charlies, threatening them from going near.

   xxxxxxx"Aureus," the young man spoke as he drew back upon his bow and unleashed a quarry of arrows into three C.H.A.R.L.I.E.'s. Two arrows aimed per target. "Aureus Saevio Exitus," he spoke again. Beyond that he kept his mouth shut and readied himself to draw more arrows if needed.

The first charlie where down from the clerics single arrow. 3 more charlies fell down from Aureus deadly shots. How ever, Joseph's daggers weren't that deadly. He gotten two charlie in the eye, but they only turn around and scurry away. 4 still remand, with the cleric swinging her sword away, the aim over to the horses instead that are frighten to the sights of the hounds coming to them. It started to run away, but in a awkward way as the carriage being drag alone over to dry grass.

Seeing everyone react so quickly to get in a kill shot put a grin on Cassandra's face. The C.H.A.R.L.I.E.S were dropping quickly, save for four of them, which were scaring off the horses with their barks and howls. She would have to do something to gain the advantage since she couldn't just charge into the ranks of the C.H.A.R.L.I.E.S and finish them on her own. "Aureus, Joesph, close your eyes!" Hoping that they'd listen, Cassandra's body suddenly flashed a blinding white light. The beast in front of her would have been blinded almost instantly by the light, allowing Cassandra to easy move froward, using the bladed end of her long bow to slash at the remaining four C.H.A.R.L.I.E.S. Each slash was aimed at their head, in attempt to hit something vital or at least fatally wound them. The few who had their eyes gouged out by Joseph's knives would easily fall after another lethal strike.

xxxxxxxAureus did not necessarily listen. Instead he spun about and readied his bow, three arrows drawn, to let rip if they were attacked from the left. When the woman erupted with a flash of bright light he smiled a concealed smirk. It was a technique of the Nephilim even he himself knew as for it was one of their kin. Now, turned from the blinding flash, he kept his eyes upon the openings in case something else beyond the easily-defeated beast appeared.

The driver pulled the straps on the horses to force them to stop. It kinda worked, but it was already to late with one of the wheels came off making the whole carriage tip to one side. " Damn.... Someone give me a hand. The wheel only pop off, I just need to push it back in." The man jumped off his seat to the solid ground. With no more killing beast around, the horse is able to calmed down and a good time to repair the cargo to travel further.

The threat was gone, and Cassandra could relax. After slipping through the band of the bow, she sloppily 'sheathed' her bow for the moment. When she turned around to check on the carriage, it seemed that it took some damage. Though it definitely wasn't from the charlies. It's wheel had popped out of place, and needed to be fixed before their journey continued. Though to put the wheel back in would require strength that she didn't have. She slowly turned her head to Joseph and Aureus in hopes that one of them would volunteer. "Perhaps one of the strong men would gladly help the man put the wheel back in place?"

xxxxxxxThe golden-eyed boy held fast. He did not move or make any indication he would help the human. In fact, he would not have participated within this mission had it not been required. One could say Aureus was your stereo-typical, "Nephilim is the Aryan race; it is perfect"-type of guy. What he did was fight. A young man without any true reason to fight beyond the three of combat itself and so he kept his arrow steadied as his breath in wait of what was to come next. The little beasts were not a problem for any of the three but he had feared what may have appeared next. His eyes glanced to Cassandra. She, being a Nephilim herself, would be able to see the change within his mood through the slight deviation of his aura. He was cautious and he wished her to be as well. Yet one, looking in on the group, would find it slightly strange he did not say a word to the Reaper as of yet.
