 Tell me that we belong together
Dress it up with the trappings of loveSlowly, Miron curled around her, still asleep... but... The emotions of peace and happiness he was going through transcended the bond he had explained last night, now fully alive and active. Another emotion came through as well... or, rather, a change thereof... He was slowly waking. That was the warning as he slowly began to open his eyes. He hadn't forgotten what had happened last night either, but also thought of it as nothing more than a fleeting dream. Slowly, he looked up at her, groggy... He thought for a second he was still dreaming, but then felt the emotions in his head... felt a slight numbness in his left side from having slept on it discordantly... It was definitely not a dream, since he felt pain. Slowly, he found himself reaching up to kiss her, but heard her humming, and found himself slowly rocking his head in tune, happily. Last night he had been a bit cut-and-dry up until they were alone... avoiding sociality until she had come into his room, and then he was open with her, which was part of the reason why they fell in love so fast... also because it was easy through the steady bonding process to fall in love with a Dracofox... but now... Now he was very much able to stay in sociality with her... far from the nearly military way of acting he had had last night before they had been alone... In fact, now he was almost seeming hedonistic, just loving having fun for the moment. He continued to slowly curl around her, a happy, loving smile spread out on his face as his head slowly came to rest against her. I'll be captivated, I'll hang from your lips

"Oh!" Selene gasped, startled. The humming stopped and she blinked, then smiled happily, and nuzzled Miron's neck, kissing him on the neck too while she was at it. She smiled and giggled a little, then looked deep into his eyes. "If I woke you, I'm sorry... I didn't mean to..." she whispered, not sure if the emotions she was feeling were hers or his, wondering if he even was in love with her. She quickly banished that thought. Of course he was! He hadn't pushed her away, so he had to still be in love with her! She smiled and reached up to kiss him, wanting that so much, still remembering how good it had felt to kiss him the night before.

Dress it up with the trappings of loveMiron returned the kiss passionately, his love for her flaring as he did so, clutching her as he drew her in closer, curling tighter toward her, his tail twirling around her, warming he further from the relatively cold morning. Sighing as he pulled out, he said "I'm glad last night wasn't just a dream..." Love still bounded through the bond... Happiness, too. He had no doubts that she loved him... He had always known how to read emotions, and this had more distinction than the ramshackle emotions that he always felt in the back of his mind from surrounding people... This blocked them out, thankfully. He sighed happily, holding her close, and said, continuing, "... I am so happy I can continue to be with you... My love..." It felt so good to say that, like a weight had been lifted off his shoulders. He slowly nuzzled her, holding her close, and slowly went back for another kiss after a short time. I'll be captivated, I'll hang from your lips

Selene smiled and kissed him back, wishing that this was the fruit of her journey, that he was the one she needed to find. But then... If he was the Warrior of Legend... She shook the thought from her head, knowing that it would sadden her. If he was the warrior of legend, then she would have to suffer his death most possibly, and she knew that she wouldn't be able to survive that if he did die. Not with how they were bonded now. Suddenly, her stomach rumbled and she blushed.
"I guess it's time for breakfast," she said softly.

Selene nodded and led the way to the door of the room, stepping out and going downstairs, looking behind her to see if Miron followed her. She smiled happily when she saw that a meal had been set out already, and followed the matronly woman, who was head of the dining room, to a chair that she had pulled out for Selene. Selene thanked her graciously, and then waited for Miron to join her before she started to eat.

Dress it up with the trappings of loveAs Miron walked in, he got a bad feeling about something... It translated through the bond, but it was obvious that he was shrugging it off... something he normally would not do, but he was in the mood to throw precautions to the wind at the moment. As he sat down to eat, he paused, looking at the food... something seemed off... "Selene..." He slowly said, the suspiscion in his voice, "...Wait for a second... Something really feels... Strange... in here..." Blinking, he slowly took a bite of his own food... It seemed fine... "If it's not the food..." He had his hackles raised... and was looking around cautiously. Once she was dead, he would take the Dracofox's htail to the nearest buyer... there was still people ready to pay a good price for one such a specimen... Silently, he lunged. The scent of burnt flesh wafted through the room. Wrinkling his nose, he sighed. "A hunter... I should've known..." He turned to Selene, and said "I... I'm sorry... I'm putting you in danger... I never explained... Dracofoxes... There are still people who want us dead from the early wars... so they hunt our bonded ones... This is one such case..."I'll be captivated, I'll hang from your lips

Selene jumped in surprise when Miron launched the fireball at the hunter. She looked at Miron, her eyes shining with tears.
"They would do that to you? But why? You're so kind and loving..." she whispered softly, truly not understanding why. She could care less of the danger. If she was on her gaurd, she would be able to take care of herself just well. She sighed and took a bite of her food, and momentarily forgetting the thing that just happened, bedcause she was hungry, she quickly ate all of her food. She sat back and wiped her face with the napkin and then looked intently at Miron, still waiting for an answer.

Dress it up with the trappings of loveMiron looked at her, a steady sigh escaping his lips... How best to explain it? "For one, money... Vanity... Some people believe that the secret to eternal youth lies in Dracofox tails... Others believe that if you sleep with a Dracofox tail it'll bring good dreams... Others, it's for vengeance... A loved one killed by a Dracofox during the ancient wars... Others in the hope that, if the Dracofoxes all died, the Ancient wars would start again, and the other kingdom would win... And they are coming close to finding that that is impossible..." Straightening his back, as if he were physically bracing himself to say his next words, he spoke them slowly and with great sorrow, tears showing in his eyes. "I am the last of the Dracofoxes, as far as I have found. From the Eastern valleys to the Western shores, and all the domains therein... There are no other Dracofoxes, and if there are, they are probably undead by now. And that truly is a scary thought."I'll be captivated, I'll hang from your lips

Selene blinked, looking at Miron sadly.
"And it was my family... Back then... My ancestors who started these wars... Who killed your kind off..." she whispered. She knew her history, and she kneww that it had been her ancestors who had started it. Tears sparkled in her eyes and saddness echoed through her being, and she didn't realize it. She looked down at her folded hands. "I'm sorry... I didn't mean to make you unhappy..." she added, just as softly as her first sentence.

Riku Itsuki Amakura  All night staring at the ceiling
Counting the minutes I've been feeling this way
So far away and so alone ((Since I'm addicted to Assassin's Creed Brotherhood and don't want to hold up anyone, I'll have him keep sleeping. So if you want to interact with him, you can. Just please don't be annoyed if my reply isnt' fast in coming.)) Eventually, Riku had gone to bed. Before doing so, he had made sure to eat. The food that the innkeeper's wife made was extremely delicious. He smiled warmly in his sleep. Unless something woke him up, Riku was out for the daytime part of the day. Because of his lifestyle, a person could mistake him for a vampire. That was because he slept during the day and stayed up during the night. The Night was the best time to kill people and Riku preferred the night for that reason. Well, other than the fact he liked the moon and stars. There's no way I'm giving up this time

The Dracofoxes chose to side with your ancestors, it was our choice to help your family... And thus the consequences are on us. We believed in your cause, and persuading a Dracofox one way or another is hard if you aren't bonded to them." Smiling, he said "We have the Draconic trait of being bull-headed, and the fox trait of hiding from conflict at the same time. We usually don't want to fight, and are very strong in that belief."   MinaMina lay relaxed on the bed, only stirring when Meiun walked to the chair. When she felt the pain, even though she was asleep, she reached out mentally and healed the wound that was causing Meiun pain. As she healed the injury somehow an almost invisible thread started to connect Mina and Meiun together. It would take a few more of those threads to complete the bond, a bond that she was still not aware of, but when it was completed they would be more connected then even a husband and wife. When she woke the next morning she slowly sat up and looked about the room she was in. Her eyes paused on the form sleeping in the chair not far from her and gasped slightly. "W-What happened? H-How did I not parish from that fall?" She closed her eyes slightly as she thought to herself, a thought that somehow traveled to Meiun using the bond thread that had been forged between them the night before. 'Did he save me? How did he know I was in danger?'

Sheridan  Sheridan slowly nodded giving Athrius a small smile and pressed a soft kiss to his neck as she hugged him. She sat up slowly and looked about the room and then looked to him. She was just about to lay back down with him when her stomach grumbled. She laughed slightly as she scooted off the bed and spoke softly to him. "Well it seems like I have forgotten, again, to eat something. Would you like to join me for a meal?"
