As she inched forward, putting one shaking foot in front of the other, the Vetala looked around. She remembered this; she generally remembered the things that scared her. There had been something lurking around the maze waiting to chase her out. She heard it again, everywhere. There wasn't a turn or step that she didn't hear something. Every crunching leaf, every whisper breeze...it was all that creature, stalking, waiting.

She couldn't even wait to meet the creature, she fled before it even had the chance to come after her.

Julian was back, ready to try again at the maze. He folded his wings carefully at his back and stepped inside.
He met the imp and bent down to help this one, too. Other students might have gotten tired of helping these little guys, but he was too nice to leave it injured like that.

The imp was grateful as they parted ways and Julian continued on, tense. He didn't want to run into anything that could really hurt- Ah, the boulder creature again.
This time he decided maybe a riddle was a better bet this time. He used one he'd heard in one of the books he had read, of a young boil who had to get past a guard to get to the home of a famous witch.

Well, the creature obviously didn't like the riddle, because it didn't budge. And something was suddenly growling off to one side. Rather than risk it being something that wanted to eat or at the least maim him, Julian ran back the way he came, out of the maze.
He'd try again later.

Morton had decided that enough time had passed to warrant this maze of doom another try. He wasn't feeling particularly optimistic after his first horribly failed try, but still, he'd never been one to give up despite the many adversities. No one ever got anywhere without perseverance, right?

That in mind, the skeletal gargoyle slipped uncertainly into the maze.

Roll 1- If you roll a 11-100, you pass and can go on to round two. (RP meeting the below obstacle)

Upon entering the maze you meet a tiny little imp, seemingly injured and whining at you for help. The imp is green in color and maybe only 2 feet tall. It is thin and looks as if they have a splinter in their foot. (If you roll a 11-100 you can do whatever you like, help or not, and you still pass. If you roll a 1-10... well helping it or not it will turn on you and chase you out of the maze.)

He stopped to help the imp. Again. He just couldn't NOT do it. It was something beyond him, in all honesty. And thus, with a sigh, the gargoyle once more dropped to his knees and tended to the creature's needs before getting up and padding onward.

Awwh you made it past the little imp with no troubles! You should feel high on life (even if your hearing weird noises all around you that sound like things that want to eat you.) Walking further along something blocks your pathway. It is large and...reminds you oddly of some huge stoney bolder. Only this one moves. It tells you that in order to get past you need to tell it a story or a riddle.. and if it approves it will let you pass. ( if you roll a 26-100 it will like your story and let you pass. If you roll a 1-25 though... well it will not like your story and your stuck in the first part of the maze, only to be chased out by something else. )

((... A one, Morton? A ONE?

Oh my god. WAY TO FAIL, buddy!))

This maze... it hated him. Morton was sure of it. There was just no other way to explain how and why the damned rock refused to budge! He'd tried to tell it a joke this time, but the thing had remain unmoving, forcing the gargoyle to roll his eyes and stalk out of the damned maze, his hands firmly shoved inside his pockets.

((LOL!!! Well ok then. xD))

Hadiyya had made her way out to the maze for second go at it, rather confident that she'd once again make it through

Of course, once she got in there and spotted the imp with his sliver plagued foot, a murderous glare turned up to her, she as slightly less confident. There had been NO glaring the first time around. Still.. She dropped to her knees to extract the thorny thing from the little beasties foot.

This was a mistake, as he promptly rolled up onto his now uninjured feet and proceeded to slap at her until she turned tail and beat a hasty retreat from the maze. "What in Jack?"

Colette stood at the entrance of the maze, ready for action with her hands on her hips. The prepared ghoul was sporting her lovely pair of shoes reserved for gym. This was just as important as her future gym class though! The maze had pissed her off enough already and these shoes would surly help her.

She strolled it, not even giving the green imp a second glance after pulling out its splinter. This was a routine it seemed, and she wondered if it just ran round on wood every day. She did, however, give it some advice, "You should find a pair of shoes."

Rounding a corner, she found herself in front of the living boulder again. This was good, she was on the right path!

Colette stood and tapped her foot, thinking. Minutes went by until she came up with something, and she looked up at what she assumed to be its face. She presented it with another riddle, "What does a skeleton order at a restaurant?"

The Reaper shifted her weight and waited for a moment until the boulder replied, "Hmm. I don't know," in its deep boulder voice.

She went out on a limb, and told him, "How about I let you think it over while I move on?" If she was lucky, she would never have to come back again.

The boulder thought for a moment and boomed, "Alright, but you better come back. I might just figure it out," before rolling out of the way.

Throwing it a short nod, she said, "Sure thing," before running on.

Colette became silent after passing the boulder just like all the other times before. Each and every time, something came chasing after her here, and it made the Reaper very nervous. She looked around and listened, paranoid.

Thankfully, she wasn't wearing heels this time. Certainly the absence of their clicking would help. She made her way deeper into the maze and clenched her hands. This was further than she's every made it!

As if speaking too soon, the ghoul heard the familiar growling. It wasn't on her path, but it was close! All that came out was a quiet "Crap" as she broke into a run, thankful she decided to change shoes, and chose some other path. A few turns and she would surely lose the thing!

Colette was panting, she hadn't stopped running. Though, it had worked. Whatever chased her out all those other times hadn't caught her now!

Feeling safe, she finally slowed down to a stop to catch her breath. This was some maze, and she had no clue where she was now. At least she was used to the earlier parts, but all that was left was to wander until she found something interesting.

Taking a few more random paths, and backtracking after a dead end or two, the ghoul finally found herself at what seemed to be the end - and something interesting was there! Colette jogged toward the pail of purple balls, welcoming and unguarded. So close still a distance away, she let out a sigh of relief, "Finally."

She completely ignored the horse skull on the ground until it took the need to disappear, causing her to divert her attention. She froze and frowned, realizing, It's a trap!

Turning around to run, she only found a very intimidating and ghostly horse staring at her. Colette's eyes winded and she jumped, startled. It wasn't long before she was chased all the way out of the maze and she stormed back to her dorm to bury her face into one of her many pillows. She was so close!

West had a headache. He squinted at the entrance to the maze, crossed his arms over his chest and strolled in. His relative lack of stomping failed to alert the imp to his presence and he managed to get within a couple of feet of the creature before it reacted. When it did see him, its eyes widened comically and it began to quickly limp away.

"Waittaminnet waittaminnet," West muttered, pointing a lazy finger at the little green man.

"I really wannakno. Can't'chu take tha'out y'self? 't's justa splinter."

The imp crossed its own arms, mimicking West's pose. Scoff, it scoffed.

Lifting its foot while still staring at the wrath demon, it stuck out its tongue and pulled out the splinter.

"See, tha'wasn'tso... HEY!"

The imp chucked the splinter at West and ran off.

He sighed upon encountering the boulder man for the fifth time. Didn't the creatures in this maze have lives? Surely there was a day when the deadbeat rock monster had to go off and visit with his kids?

"Look 'ere. Once uponna time there wazza giant Jackin' rock guy whossat inna mae all day'n stopped people frumdoin' what they need ta do."

His voice rose louder and louder as he spoke and when he stopped, the silence was deafening.

"NONE SHALL PASS," the boulder rumbled.

West thought he saw a tear in its rocky eye.

Well, damn.

Before he even entered the maze, Israfel found himself remembering something. He was late.

For..something..that didn't involve a imp looking at him like it was going to kill him.
