Nadia, thinking it might be about time to get moving before they were found, got up and walked out of the room she had been resting in. "Kadra?" She said walking around to the little kitchen and rubbing her eyes, riding them of sleep.
Kadra looked around till she spotted the small girl standing by the entrance of the kitchen. "Yeah Nadia, what's up?" She wondered what could have woke the child up, she always slept so soundly.
"We leaving yet?" She asked looking up.
"No not yet, we could stay here a couple of days. It's fare enough away from town on one can find us." Kadra knew the child must be worried about being caught. It had nearly happened a few times before. "Come here and sit on my lap and go back to sleep."
"I don't trust him." Nadia said looking at Attorra.

Xeema shruged "What ever happened to them, must have been bad. It's damn near impossible to hurt one, let alone kill a dragon." She glanced off in the direction she felt the power rush. They must have been trying to heal the dragon. She did a double take when the man just vanished. "ok any one else see that?"

Leonardo made a quick pit stop and grabbed a jug of water and an apple. He knew Abarden would need it. Then he lead them out to the landing where he saw Telmina being worked on. "Let's go ask the doctor how she's doing."
Abarden was standing now. Walking around trying to figure out how to wrap Telmina. "I hate to ask darling, but do you have enough strength to take human form? It would make this easier. And if you don't I'll just have to give you a little more." He said with a smile.
Telmina snorted at Eversor "I'm fine. And I hate to say it, but this wasn't as bad as last time." She said lowering her head to Abarden. "I can manage." A much more subdued wind blew around her, proof of how weak she was, and soon enough a she sat naked, covered in blood, as a human.
Abarden pulled his cloak off and tossed it around her. "No you were closer to death this time. Last time you flew home, with out help. This time you had to be carried home. Alright lets get her wrapped up." Abarden stepped back to let his crew take over.
Leonardo walked over. "Abarden, how is she?" He held out the apple and water. "And how are you?"
Abarden smiled and took the gifts. "She should be fine as long as she takes it easy. And as for me. Fine thank you." He took a chomp out of the apple, and kept going, hardly stopping to chew.
Leonardo laughed "If your not careful your going to choke on that."
Abarden put the apple core down and guzzled the water down. Finally done he sighed "Healing takes alot of energy, I needed food before my stomach ate it's self, so sorry for my rude manors." He said glancing at Uru. "Sir Monk I wasn't aware we had a man of the Holy faith here."
Paha looked over Telmina and noticed Eversor dragging. "Abarden, can you give our hero a pick-me up?"
Abarden sighed "Yeah not a problem." He turned back to Leo and Uru. "Please excuse me for a few moments."
Abarden walked over to Eversor. "Ok lets see if I can help take the edge off that tiredness. I'm going to draw a circle around you like I did Telmina. It's to keep the energy I release, only on you. Since I can't direct the energy directly on you with my hands, your too big for that." Abarden drew a large circle around Eversor. "This is going to tickle a bit. That's ok right?"

Eversor stood in the center of the circle, unmoving, but his wings still ached and drooped to the ground out of their exhaustion. "It is fine, Abarden. Do your worst.", he said with a sarcastic grin.Nexus strode over to stand next to Uru, glancing at Paha out of the corner of his eye, but nothing too obvious. He was bent on finding where the runaway wench of Kurag's was being held.

Attorra ignored the small girl and focused on the cooking. It was something he could do without having to worry. He finished it and fished around in the cupboards for plates that the three of them could eat off of. "Hungry?"
Before Attorra could get a response from the girls, the door burst open and a man who looked suspiciously well off for someone bursting into a shack out here. His focus was drawn immediately to the small girl in the young woman's lap, "Nadia!" He ran over and lifted her off of the woman's lap and into his arms, "Ah! Nadia! Why did you run away? I'm sorry! Whatever it is, I'm sorry!"
Attorra stared for a moment, unsure of what was going on, but, he could really care less. "You know this guy, Kadra?"

Uru gave the man a small nod for his acknowledgment and glanced over to Nexus to see what he was up to. He did not look like he was doing anything suspicious, but he was, in any case, a rather suspicious looking man.

"Patilla, are you sticking around for a while?" Afsana folded her arms and gave him a sideways glance, "Or what's going on this time?"
Patilla shrugged, "You never know where work will take you."
"Where wealthy people live or gather."
"Touché." Patilla nodded.
"That reminds me, Paha said something about knowing where Attorra is."
"Our Attorra?" Patilla seemed a bit skeptical.
"No doubts." Afsana smiled, "We should probably see him. It's about time we paid Ptokin a visit."
Patilla just nodded, and started toward the direction where everyone else had gathered, "Yo Paha. How about telling us where we can find Attorra of where or whatever he wants to be called now?"

Nadia screamed "Ah! Let me go! Who are you!? Let go!" Tears brimmed at her eyes as she started to struggle to get lose. "Kadra help! This man killed my parents!" She screamed and bit the man's arm.
Kadra jumped from the counter to stand and try and take Nadia back "No I don't know you, and I don't think Nadia likes you. So let her go." She drew a small knife she carried from the inside of her shirt. She had never had to use it, this wasn't going to end well.

Abarden rubbed his hands together closing his eyes. A small spark of blue fire jumped from between his clasped hands then spread up to his arms. This was a minor healing, so he wouldn't need to call on the holy mother again. Laying his hands down onto the circle the fire followed the edges of it and met then jumped up and onto the dragon. They burned for a few moments, and stopped soon as Abarden with drew his hands from the circle.
He smiled and stood. "That should be enough." Abarden felt even more drained then he had been a few moments ago. He noticed Leonardo's worried look and went to stand next to him and the monk. "Sir Monk. What, if I can ask, brings you here?"
Telmina was finally bandaged up enough to be free to walk around. She approached Eversor and gave him a stiff bow. "Thank you."
Paha looked over at the other two. "I can't tell you. And I can't bring you there till tomorrow. The home is enchanted to be hidden from sight at night. Even if I did walk you there the enchantment would turn us around so we were walking back to the palace."
He walked over to Abarden "I think that's all you'll be needed for. You can go rest now if you like."
Abarden nodded "Yes thank you. I will in a few moments."
Paha headed for Eversor, "Telmina, why don't you go rest as well? I don't want you hurting yourself with your foolish pride." He turned to Eversor "You should probably fill your belly then rest to."

Eversor felt energy return to him as his aching muscles eased from the blue flames that enveloped him. He felt totally refreshed after the flames subsided and he nodded to Abarden in thanks before looking to Telmina. "It was nothing, Telmina. But next time, try not to take another blow for me in the future. It was thoughtful of you, yes and I think, but you are more important than I am as you were raised by our Lord himself.", he said, then bowed in return. "That is all I ask, but you are very welcome.", the black dragon said, then rose to look to Paha. "If I may protest, my Lord. It accured to me that the humans have only been able to reach here in Karmae by sea. I was wondering if I may gather a small force and attack the human coasts so as to disable their boats and ships, and destroy any buildings that build their navy crafts. I know of a couple more dragons around Karmae that will help, and I would like to take advantage of the energy that I have now."
Classic Eversor. Always eager to get back to the fight and cripple the enemy. He could rest when he died.Nexus raised a brow to Paha's response to Patilla's request to see this "Attora", but remained quiet and withdrawn from speaking out.
He tapped his foot once, and the couple zombie dogs that were at his sides darted off to continue the search that they had been originally summoned to do.
A nocturnal redirection spell? Pretty complex. I'll just tell my hounds to search for the source of that instead of the girl. That'll make it significantly easier for them., Nexus thought to himself, then sent a mental order off to his servants. All of his summonings automatically had a private mental link to Nexus. The necromancer felt that a couple of his hounds were in a whirling state of confusion. He saw through the eyes of the dogs that they were going toward a specific area, then as they continued they found themselves turned back toward the palace.
Well, that was easier than I thought possible., he thought to himself as he told his dogs to surround the area, but not enter it.
Through this whole comingling with his servants, Nexus's face remained unchanging and emotionless. Semi-oblivious to what was going on around him.

"Nadia!"the man pulled her close to him, holding her tightly against his chest and leaning in to her ear to speak, "You can't be so angry forever. Didn't you miss me at all? I missed you." He kissed the side of her face despite all of her fighting, "I don't like when you're not home, Nadia. Come lay with me at the very least. I love you."
Attorra just glanced over, making a face at the commotion in his kitchen. Did Kadra have a knife? Oh well, better that guy than him.

Patilla scoffed, "Why would you be harboring a nameless no-account like Attorra?" He stopped for a moment to think before expressing his revelation aloud, "Unless, he's harboring th-"
Afsana slapped a hand over Patilla's mouth and finished his sentence, "the secrets of the other homeless weirdos on the island. Ha ha. Ew." She let go of Patilla and began ushering him out of the room, "Tomorrow then? Well. Tomorrow sounds dandy. Patilla, be a darling, go sit in the corner with your mouth closed, thank you."
Patilla got it, what Afsana was hiding and why. He glanced over at the hooded man and made a face, "I want to see Attorra now!"
"Patilla, you're sixteen years old. Act like it." Afsana grumbled, "better yet, go play with the kitty cats over there." She pointed him in the direction of Leo, specifically, and turned back to Paha, "Tomorrow is fine. Thank you."

Nadia screamed again. "Eww bad touch!" She struggled and finally managed to get semi-free of the man's hold.
Kadra did what her reactions told her to do. She launched and stabbed the man in the chest. A safe distance away from Nadia no to hurt her. Kadra stepped back as Nadia squirmed her way out of his hold and fell to the floor. Kadra could hardly believe she had just stabbed him.
Nadia jumped up and ran to Kadra's side and clung to her leg crying softly.

Telmina shook her head in protest. "I can not willing let you get hurt. If you had been wounded as I was I don't think I would have been able to fly you back." She pulled Abarden's cloak around her more. "You might have died if you were injured, better me then you." She hesitated at the edge of the circle still around him, then finally crossed over it to rest a hand on a arm of his. "I would take any hurt for a fellow dragon."
Paha's head shot to the two who were talking about who he was hiding. "Yes rest tonight and we will go to visit tomorrow." Paha looked at the hooded man. "I would suggest you don't try too hard to find them." He said resting a hand on Telmin's back as he spoke "It would be unfortunate if you fell into on the traps that are set up for the night."
Telmina looked at her lord. She could feel his unease. "My lord?"
He turned his attention back to the two dragons. "I would hate for any of you to end up hurt again. Abarden can't do much more healing today with out endangering his own life. I really don't want to risk losing any one tonight"
Upon hearing his name he looked up. "I'm fine my lord. I will feel better once I get some more food in me."
Leonardo stepped in. "No Lord Paha is right. You're done for the day. You can't take much more then you already did."
Abarden being the adult he was, crossed his hands over his chest and stuck his lower lip out, pouting.
Leonardo sighed "You're worse then my god damned kids, Abarden be nice and show the guests to their rooms."
"Yeah fine what ever." Abarden turned a bowed to the said guests. "If you'll follow me. I will lead the way."

Eversor shook his large head. "Better me than you, Telmina. You are a higher priority than I, as you were raised by our Lord. I was trained by him for such dangers.", he said matter-of-factly, leaving things unsaid as they were aroiund other. He did, however, put his snout to the dragoness's forehead for a brief moment before looking to Paha.
"I must protest, my Lord. The night will hide my dark scales and those whos who I have in mind to join me. Allow me to cripple the humans' mode of transportation to our island so we may be that much safer in our sleep.", the black dragon said stubbornly. Nexus rolled his eyes at the dragon's lust to cripple the human navy. He felt the mental links between him and his hounds being severed.
Traps. Alright, something more powerfull next time., he shrugged to himself, then nodded to Abarden. "Lead away."

Without so much as a yelp, the man yanked the knife from his chest and threw it at the wall with as much force as he could. It stuck like a throwing knife ringing out as it did. Of course it could not be heard over Attorra's protestant "Hey!"
"You b***h," The man's eyes narrowed at Nadia as he once again ignored everyone else. He ran to her, dropped to his knees in front of her to find her at eye level. He glanced down at his bleeding chest and gave a small "ha. Lookit that. My heart bleeds for you, darling." He grabbed one of Nadia's tiny hands with one of his, and, with his free hand, slowly reached into his knife wound. There isn't a euphemism to accurately describe how bloody the scene was, however, it ended with the man pulling out his own heart and placing it in the small girl's palm. "Look I have done the human gesture, and given you my heart." He smiled a sheepish, childlike smile and finished, knowing, this time, how to make it better, "We could go home and make children."
Attorra watched as the man pulled out his heart and handed it over without even a twitch in the face. He was odd. He was very odd. Attorra wondered if he should do something, but, at the same time, what did he care about any of them.

"Yeah yeah, let's see these rooms." Patilla walked past the lot as if he would find the rooms himself, which, he probably would. He, of course, wandered away, and indeed found a room, but it was already occupied. "Oh look, Paha has daughters."

Afsana ignored Patilla. She liked to let the little devil do whatever he liked anyhow. When walking past him, she glanced up at Leo, scowled, and walked on. She stopped though and turned around, "Oh, Paha. How is our dear Attorra?"

Kadra felt feint. Not only did this man just pull out his heart, he handed it to a little girl and mentioned kids all in one. "You stay away from Nadia." She said her whole body shaking.
Nadia clutched his heart to her chest, her eyes clear of any tears. "You really mean that? We could try to have kids again?"
Kadar looked down in horror. Nadia was no more then ten years old. There was no way she could be talking about trying to have kids. "Nadia!"
She glanced up still holding his heart like a teddy bear. It would have been cute had there not been blood. Nadia looked like some demented child god of war. "I'm older then you think Kadra."
Nervous suddenly Kadra backed up and away from the two. "Attorra?"

At first the girls were all rather startled to have a strange man walk into their shared living room. Many "get outs!" Where yelled along with a few choice words ladies like them were not supposed to say.

Paha looked up. "You can ask him when you see him tomorrow. No be going to bed. We have to be up early if we want to get there before sun down." Paha waved a dismissive hand before turned back to the two dragons. He did notice a bond between them he hadn't seen before. Telmina was rather cold when it came to the opposite sex, other then himself of course.
"I would rather you stay home tonight. But I know you will not settle down till you've done all you can do for one day." He sighed and scratched the back of his head "So I guess I'll have to go agenst my better judgment and let you go. But be back as soon as you can. I need you alive and well to go tomorrow."
Telmina shuffled nervously. If Eversor was going, maybe she should go to. Though she doubted her body would make it. "I will go to." She said looking at Paha and back up at Eversor.
Paha looked at her like she was crazy. "No, no you're not. If I have to I will knock your a** out and tie you to a bed for the rest of the night."
"You wouldn't" Telmina said looking rather cross with him.
The look Paha had said it all. That he would do what he said and that she would have to deal with it.
Abarden caught a scent in the air he hadn't smelled in a long time. Another Saber toothed tiger. He looked around for the source his heart racing. He didn't want to run into some one of his own clan. "Um yeah to your rooms right this way!" Abarden called heading off and down one of the long winding hallways that made up Paha's palace.

Eversor gave a toothy grin at Paha, relishing his small victory over his Lord. "Have I ever failed you, my Lord?"
Then his grin was wiped off of his face as he gave Telmina stern look. "I disagree as well. To be able to help the most you would have to ride on my back and use your ice magic, but even then your current state would hinder that. Stay here and rest. I'll be back before midnight.", the black dragon said, his last two sentences slightly softer than his other spoken words with his eyes fixed on the dragoness's. A few seconds passed, then Eversor turned around and lunged into the air and spread his wings to fly off in search of his beings in mind that would aid him in the raid.Nexus nodded and silently followed Abarden, already calculating how he woulld get to this "Atorra" that interested these people so much. Why else would Paha have him so distant if not to hide him or something of value in Atorra's possesion?

"Talk about ******** weird." Attorra grumbled. He pulled Kadra over, "I know you want me to hurt him, but you have to remember that nothing is ever as it seems."
"Nadia!" The man wanted her full attention and gave her a bit of a pouting face, "Nadia, darling, let me see you." He grabbed her by her tiny waist and picked her up to bring her closer to him, "Please?"

"Oh, I'm sorry." Patilla took a small step back and turned on the charm, "I was looking for hell but it seems I found paradise instead. It can't be healthy to be around so many beautiful women. I'd better go."

Afsana just happened to look over and notice Nexus, possibly deep in thought. She would not know specifically, they were not even acquaintances really. She decided to try anyhow. Maybe he'd be a little less, well, like that lion. "Something troubling you?"
Uru decided to stop Paha, "Paha, if you've a moment, might I have a word?"
