"And technically, I am not doing anything. But if I were to do something, it only be to try and find something real to hold on to. Something tangible that could hold me back and make all the bad things in my life go away. But...such a thing doesn't exist." She released a sigh and rolled off of him, landing on her back.

She's...the complete opposite of me." he replied back to her. "Arete used to say that time heals all wounds, but music makes time move faster. But I know thats a lie. There are wounds that will stay with you forever if the world allows it, with or without music. So you have to make your own remedy." Fenrir raised his claw up as far as his arm would reach, and then clutched it into a fist. "Fighting is my remedy. So tell me, how can a woman like her love such a violent man? I don't understand."

"There must be something inside you that she see's. Someone really special. I've heard people talking about it before. Even the dirty old bastards that headed to my Master's place for some 'fun' talked about their women. As much as I hated them all, they still had feelings for their wives. To this day, I cannot figure out why they would get their kicks from me and the other slaves. But I figure it's sex for the sake of sex or something else.
It could be that she see's a strength in you she doesn't have within herself. Maybe she's attracted to power. Or perhaps you're her hero. Who really knows? But if you have love, should you really question it? If you question it, you'll start looking for faults until you find one. Then you'll probably use that as your way out because deep down, you're afraid. But, that's all just a guess. I don't know what love is. I've never experianced it. And I'm finding out I have horrible luck with men...All the men I'm attracted too have someone already. It makes things depressing. She stared up at the ceiling as well as she thought of this remedy. "Arete's an idiot anyway. I'll be glad once he's gone. I really don't want to deal with him." Taking in a deep breath, Luna began to wonder what her remedy was. Did she really have one? It didn't feel like it.
Sighing softly, she turned to look at Fenrir. "Don't question love. If love was easy, it wouldn't be worth anything. If you could choose who you were in love with, there would be no fighting for it. If there was no fighting, there would be no happy moments, and nothing memorable about it. It would be like everything else in this world." "Come a little bit closer

Meanwhile, Arete carefully crawled across the ledge to the next room. He could hear talking, and was thinking that maybe there was an entrance somewhere around where he could enter without the guards noticing. Arete suddenly stopped though at the mention of his name, and pulled himself up just enough to see Luna and Fenrir inside. They seemed to be talking about him for some reason. He decided to stick around and eavesdrop on what they were doing.

"You obviously haven't seen him and Lilianna together then. They are happy when they are together, and they make eachother laugh and feel good. That is what love is isn't it?" She looked over to Fenrir and sat up on the bed.
She didn't think this was really a funny subject. So she didn't much care for his laughter. "Hmn...I don't understand how that is funny anyway. But whatever, I really could care less." Pushing herself off the bed, she looked at Fenrir.
"Are you going to make me an Expert now? I need to leave and see if I can find a Tamer and a vacation from this place might not be a bad idea. I'm sure that Arete can just go in there and get the money now. So I'm really not needed anymore." "Come a little bit closer

 Liliana never stopped listening into Fenrir's thoughts, even as Aura came back to her from scratching on the door to the room and sending Arete the combination. She kind of knew Arete probably had no real feelings for her but hearing it in Fenrir's mind seemed to sting just a little worse. She always set her hopes up to have them ripped away. It was just like when she was a slave. She'd be with a nice family and one person had to destroy things for her. She'd either be resold or sent off. Tearing off her blindfold, she tossed it aside. She had tried. By the Divine, she had tried for these people. Luna's snide little remarks she could write off. She knew that was a by-product of slavery in some people. But being written off by everyone else, except Cain, was really trying. "I've done my service here," she said finally in a stern tone. "I'm just going to get drunk now."

"Love is a strong word." Arete's voice suddenly echoed into the room as he shouted from outside glass. He was now standing on the small ledge outside the room, with his face pressed against the glass. "I've only been on like, what, one date with her? Possibly two if you count the hotspring."

"......somebody kill this guy already." stressed Fenrir got off the bed and stormed out of the room before he could do the job himself. "You're not Expert. Not yet. Meet me in Hellgrind for more training and I'll explain there." he added as he passed Luna and quickly left the casino.

Luna's ears twitched as she turned and looked to the window. Her ears immediately went flat, and her tail even fluffed up slightly. "You know...I'm really getting tired of you popping in all the time."
Walking up to the window, she smirked at him before pulling her arm back. The woman sent a punch through the window, cutting open her hand on the broken glass. It stung, but as the blood ran, her thoughts cleared. She grabbed hold of Arete's collar and pulled him up against the window with enough force to bring him through it. "Come a little bit closer

Arete spun around as he pulled back in and quickly regained his balance. Glancing back at Luna though, he sighed. "You're bleeding again." He grabbed the enlarged colar of his shirt and ripped it off, going around his neck so as to make an even bandage. "Come on, hold your arm out."
