Saykiro moved out of the brown's way as he looked for His and silently congratulated the new pair.
His eyes moved back to the last of the eggs from the Gold, gasping as another bronze emerged. This one seemed more regal then the other. Saykiro imaged himself on the back of a Bronze, but quickly shook the thought away. There was no way he would be with that color. Curious as to who this one would chose, he looked at the candidates still there with him in the sands. Maybe the bronze will chose one of them and not go to the stands like the other did. Either way he was be happy for the Impressions being made.

Distracted from her attempts at getting the attention of T'vek by the sharp crack of eggs colliding with each other, La turned back just in time to see a brown disentangle himself from his shell wreckage and head straight for the boy that was his. She watched quietly, attention quickly drawn back to the bronze that emerged, but again, her focus wavered quickly enough. Bronzes and browns for men, and frankly, she was getting antsy. With Nasuymi gone, there was no one to fault her for putting her sandals back on, and she slipped her uncomfortably hot feet into them, sighing softly as she wriggled her toes and didn't feel hot sand directly beneath them.
Fiddling with her robes, she looked at the egg-cracking tool in Abigail's hand and waited for the bronze to Impress so the second half of the Hatching could happen.

Oh, Good blessings, another bronze? Granted, it'd been a very large clutch, but to have another Bronze was a good thing, right? That made... A queen, Twoo... Bronzes, and three Browns? Four? In all the hectic ways of the impression, Jalarant couldn't really remember. He watched the large, beautiful, wet dragon stalk over to them. Even if he wasn't to Impress, he enjoyed watching them.
..Ah, and that strikingly marked Brown had Impressed as well! Good! Jalarant didn't know the candidate, he didn't know many people well, but hopefully they would both be happy together.

The Withering Leaf egg revealed as a bronze led Akaya to a stifled chuckle--the best for last, the bronze seemed to think. He'd certainly made a bigger entrance than even the queen! And a second bronze in the clutch was very good. Two bronzes and three browns in all for Brakiath, which seemed a very respectable clutch, even by the standards of the Benden riders. She glanced up at the Stands to where they and their dragons were, wondering if they'd leave when the Weyrwoman moved to help the Atypicals hatch...or would they stay out of a morbid curiosity?

Nodding, he watches as the brown picks out His fairly quickly. Only a few eggs left and a bronze felt it was time to show himself. He wished good luck to fellow. Privately S'kor wondered why none of the crimson's clutch had hatched. From what he'd heard they were laid a day later. Did that mean they'd hatch a day late?
Optheli was glad it didn't take long to feed Dynith. Not that she hadn't handled raw meat in preparing dinners for the caravan. She covers her chuckle at not having to do that anymore. No, now she was going to have to make increasing large amount to feed Dynith. At least until the dragon could make her own kills.

When the bronze rose, he walked with his wings still held aloft, walking with a confident, graceful stride that ran the line of arrogance yet somehow did not cross it. He huffed at the boys - they were so picked over... but His was here. He'd felt His when all the searching, probing hands had touched his egg.
It was only a matter of finding him.
Rumbling, he finally folded his impressive wingspan and shook himself, inhaling deeply to fill his chest with air and headed into the boys. He wasn't so gentle as the brown, no. These boys were out of line! And that was not how this went, he could feel it. There was no order here!
He headbutted the first inopportunely placed boy he came across and snapped another that didn't move quickly.
Clearly this bronze thought he was in charge!

The brown was an adorable thing, all beautiful markings and clumsy sweetness -- and when it moved to stand directly before him, Auren found his heart thumping violently. "W-what?" The bewildered Runner apprentice didn't know what to think -- but then those great eyes turned up to him, full of need and patience and quietness, and that voice sounded in his head.
Aurenmine, Your Tytoth is hungry. Feed me?
Feeling his chest suddenly full of warmth and his head full of needful little brown, Auren nodded a little dumbly, reaching out to stroke the pale-marked face, the soft feathering of the lightness around it, and felt Tytoth push his head further into his hand. "O-of course," stammered the young runner, a smile blossoming over his features as he paused a moment, looping long arms around the slender neck for a moment, and then gestured toward the food table. "I'll... I'll feed you..." He felt that hunger as if it were his own. "A-and we'll... perhaps meet some of your clutchmates, too, while we're at it...!"

This bronze was certainly more demanding! Seemed the candidates had to be just so. Well, S'kor hoped, he'd locate His quick enough. He wondered where Optheli went; she couldn't be seen easily in the press of bodies. Scarath what's her dragon's name? Scarath turns his head and watches his rider from a green eye. 'Her name is Dynith, Mine.'

Akaya didn't envy the boys one bit as the bronze went to bully them into order. Oh, His would have a time of it, she was sure. She hoped he wouldn't go further than snapping in his reorganizing, but if a Candidate proved ornery...then again, who'd be silly enough to provoke a bronze? When it said move into line, you moved into line! Not that it could say it, but still...he was being very clear about what he wanted.

A stirring of pride moved within S'raid's chest as he watched the Bronze strut about very much as though he owned the Weyr. It was as though he were watching a little Galvanth, and for the first time in the Hatching, he was feeling a bit... mushy. He was routing the boys about as neat as you please, and that was something that S'raid approved of in a Bronze. A faint smile curved his lips as he took in the sight of the dragonet moving the boys about as he desired-- this truly was a Bronze he could approve of! It irked him somewhat that it was a Trine Bronze and not a Benden, however... if only because this was once again something that his own Weyr was struggling to do. I knew who I wanted the instant I was hatched, Galvanth reminded S'raid, lest the rider think that this dragonet was too like him.

He watched as the bronze moved roughly through the males. The closer the bronze got, the more Saykiro moved out of the way. There was no way he wanted to be in this guys way.

Ofelia had to chuckle over the actions of the bronze out on the sands, they way he was bossing people around. It certainly was more lively now that he was moving about, not to mention the fact it meant the hatching was getting closer to ending. For as hyped up as Ofelia had been long before this had actually occurred she was now tired, antsy. There were things she needed to get done and the sooner this was over the better, since she figured it would be pretty bad manners to just get up and leave - not to mention her brother would tan her hide.
Literally, were it possible.
Instead she just shifted around in her seat, fanning herself slightly before waving over to those on the sands she could still see.
"Hiiii Laaaaaa----"
She sort of...whispered that, considering her words were cut off by a withering glare.
"Oh com'on! Jus' bein' friendly!"

The bronze continued to push and batter and shove the boys into line, prowling down the length of the options before he circled back around to stare at them. Rumbling loudly, his gaze met and then blatantly dismissed at least six Candidates before he stopped his inspection before one particular boy. The boy's eyes widened and he hesitantly reached out a hand but the bronze snapped and growled at him, pushing past him to stand ever so proudly beside Devlin. He had chosen, and as far as he was concerned, he had chosen well! His voice was a rich and smooth one, the confidence unmistakeable but there was a warmth for His as well. Your Plexith has chosen, Devlinmine. Now Mine must feed me, that is how it is done. Abigail sighed with relief as the bronze impressed. That... had been nerve wracking for her. He might have cleaned up the boys' line but she'd almost begun to think he might have a His among those gathered. She looked up once more and the Gold rumbled, indicating that she thought that was last her eggs to hatch. Only one potential dud from a clutch of ten - that was excellent! And so she stepped forward, shovel in hand, and addressed the Candidates. "Reform your ranks! And step in! Atypical dragons do not have much stamina when they are newborn. Its life is in your hands, do not forget that!" She waited the few moments it took for the Candidates to reform their ranks. He voice was loud and carried well, the backdrop of rumbling from the Queen as she lifted her head to challenge the Benden riders who had chosen to attend a powerful thing indeed.

Jalarant gave a slight 'oof' as he was pushed into place by the Bronze. Just hatched and already acting like you were a wingleader? Jala grimaced and stood straight, lest the Bronze decide to maul him too.
...Ah, then the Bronze made his choice, and the Weyrwoman got to use that shovel of hers. Jala stood beside his two nearby male candidates and did as isntructed. He was always curious come this time in the ceremony. What would hatch? Would anything hatch?

Liyar sighed- she'd be left out this time, she decided. Regardless, when it came time to crack the possible dud, she stepped forward, but kept close to the other candidates. She didn't want to stress the atypical dragonet out by making it walk farther if she was it's lifebonded. Her shoulders sagged a bit- yes, this was disappointing, but- it would be alright, she figured. If she was ment to form one of these bonds, she would.
