Yuki was running full speed down the hallway. It was just as Hisaki described it, littered with senbon, tripped wire, and burn marks everywhere. This means he was close by! Or at least he wishes he was. As he made his way down the path, he heard fighting coming from one of the other hallways. Another thought came to Yuki as he continued forward on his destination.

Alright, Hisaki said something about there being only limited amount of boxes. Obviously they did that so they could cut down our numbers drastically. I wonder if the proctors know that the Shinobi in this maze would literally kill each other to go on? Then again, it's the Hidden Sound Village, they are just as ruthless as anyone else. I remember reading about Orochimaru in one of my history texts. He experimented on people, wanted to learn every jutsu known to man, killed countless people, and not to mention tried to test the law of god by making himself immortal! Then he launched an attack on our village, The Village Hidden in the Leaves. If it weren't for the Hidden Sand Village we probably would be under a different type of ruler right now...

Yuki shook his head, to throw those thoughts away, he needed to concentrate. "...Where am I?" He had been running for quite some time. It was just a simple hallway, but at the end was another fork. "Have I walked too far? Ugh, note to self: Side effects from Mind Release is loss of awareness to your surroundings." He said out loud as he scanned the walls for more burn marks. Yuki knew how bad Hisaki's habit of smoking was, so he figured there would be a burn mark from him somewhere nearby on the wall. He found a small circular burn on the left side of the path, signaling him to go left. With a triumphant smile and fist pump he jogged down the pathway.

It seemed the battling from earlier got quiet, either someone died, or they cannot participate in battle any longer. "I believe that is MINE!" A genin shouted from somewhere in the maze nearby. Yuki slowed down to a jog, he was to not interfere in any battles. I don't have a lot of fighting experience, and some of these Genin are probably tougher than I am. No, not probably, are tougher than me. For example, Chikako, I traced her mind and concluded that she was weak. However, not only did Hisaki and I have a tough time facing her, but she also easily defeated the puppeteer! I doubt its just because she trained... Thats when it hit him, a lesson his father was trying to teach him some time before.

Yuki, he said, there is a time where pure skill is surpassed by one thing, and only one thing. Resolve, if a ninja doesnt have the willpower to live or to overcome an obstacle, the mind will not allow the body to be used to its full potential. You and Hisaki are best friends, only an idiot would disagree with that. He needs you like you need him. Every ninja has something they must protect, and for you, that is Hisaki. Your willpower will come from trying to protect your best friend. Even if your body will not, or cannot cooperate, pure willpower will be able to awaken your sense. But father, Yuki would whimper, what if I cannot find the willpower to defend him? Masaki sighed, then being a ninja out on the battlefield is not your place and you should probably work in the hospital like I do. This is why I chose to become a medical shinobi, so I could protect your mother while we were out on missions. Although, she usually got herself in more trouble than out of it with her hot temper. Just then, almost as if on cue, his mother burst through the doorway, brandishing a kitchen knife. She began to scream insults at her husband as Masaki and Yuki ran out the door, saying something about hands on learning elsewhere.

Yuki giggled to himself, remembering one of his better lessons from his father. Masaki always worked in the hospital, after some time out on the field. He said that he didn't like combat, and he gets enough excitement taking care of the wounded anyways. His mother was one of the fiercest Kunoichi around. Mrs. Yamanaka was quite talented in Taijutsu and Ninjutsu, and no shinobi would ever escape from her furious grasp. You see, Masaki was also a talented Tracking nin, he would track down the shinobi, and Yuki's mother would...finish them off.

The blond genin shook his head again, he needed to concentrate to get the hell out of here. Despite all these fond memories popping up, he was still alone, in trouble, lost, and needs to pass this exam to prove to his father that he doesn't need to be a medical nin to succeed in life! With another triumphant giggle, he flew down the hallway after examining another burn mark, he was feeling quite optimistic about this whole situation now. "Maybe I'll even get to the center!" He whispered excitedly.

While walking, he heard a crumbling and noticed that his floor was falling. He'd stepped on a pit-fall and was falling. He almost paniced for a moment before pushing up on the air beneath himself. He was lucky that he knew how to manipulate the air under his feet or he'd have sever metal spikes through out his body. Since he could though, he was able to give himself enough leverage to just be able to grab the edge of the pit-fall. He paused for a moment, to re-gain his focus and lifted himself up onto solid ground. He knew that it was his fault but now was going to focus even more then ever. After another what seamed like two hours he rounded a corner and came to a sudden stop. He didn't need to round the corner since his cloak was keeping him hidden. This fight was different from all of the other ones though. This involved Notwen, the sand genin that wanted to test his stones cuz he accidentilly interupted a conversation. He was now in a fight against two other genin. Fuyu wasn't about to blow his cover for nothing though. He would stay hidden and enter if he was needed. He was keeping his eyes open though just incase there was a way he could in-advertantly help him.

Aya remained hidden behind the rock, keeping herself down so as not to be seen, as she sat behind the rock, using her Byakugan to watch the fight, she could see that they were all weaken, from fighting, but she wasn't sure how had a kanji and who didn't, she'd need to find out first, she also knew that taken on three people would be mad, but if they weaken each other first not so hard.

She then looked around the field, she could see with her Byakugan, she could see three people, one was the person she had followed, the other she didn't know, but one of them was using a puppet and bugs, another seemed used flame jutsu, and the person she had followed seemed to have had done nothing so far. This fact made Aya a little uneasy, as Aya sat behind the rock she formed a hand seal an used 'Transformation Jutsu' without the puff or smoke to cover her and give away where she was, Aya gained much longer straight blond hair, and gained a few years, making herself look 20-23 years in age, she then moved her headband up over her eyes to hide them, her clothing had changed, her headband no longer had the Leaf symbol, it now had the Rain symbol, she had lost the fur line coat for a Avocado green and white Aburame style coat, and rather then her skirt she now had black cargo pants on.

Sora watched as his team mate snatched the stone away from the Uchiha. He was pleased that this did not get too difficult, although he wanted to test his puppet out, he did not want to do so under these circumstances, one in which they were so pressed for time. Sora remained silent inside the coffeen, it was time for them to get while the getting was good. He turned to Jin and instructed the puppet to nod, signaling to him that it was now time to go.

From this distance, Fuyu couldn't really see anything screaming in the likes of "SOMEONE HELP ME! I'M GETTIN' s**t KICKED!!!!", so he figured that his ally would be just fine on his own. His first point though was to get himself out of here as he was still half thinking about the task at hand and also thinking about what this guardian could add to his next to nothing knowledge about his father. That was his main priority though so he continued to look for the exit. About an hour later he came up to a dead end with a pillar there. He moved over closer to the pillar and looked at it as much as he could. It looked normal, but when he touched it Fuyu realized that there was an indent on the top. He thusly realized that it was the spot for the stone so he took the stone in his hand and placed it there. Just like magic, the stones started to seperate in the wall until there was a path. Fuyu grinned and ran through as he finally left this part of the test.
