Aphra woke up in the middle of the night and sat up. Her back cracked starting from her spine down. She wouldn't sleep the rest of the night.

Sosuke heard her awake, but just decided to lay there...why, he wasn't sure...maybe he was shy? Feh. Not likely. Then what?...he didn't know...

Aphra made the bed knowing she wouldn't fall back asleep. She picked up her cell phone and read off the text messages from Kyoya. He warned her about her sister arriving at the school and Aphra smiled lightly. "Such a pain," she hissed softly. She peeked over at Sosuke on the couch and thought he was asleep. Her feet her took her to the windows to look out of them and let her nails touch the glass.

Sosuke huffed, turning back to the moonlight rays streaking through the window. "What're you thinking of?" he asked from the couch, his eyes piercing through the low light...

Aphra flinched not knowing he was awake. She avoided his question. "What are you doing up," she asked insted. Avoiding his question was better since she couldn't lie to him.

"I'm not invading your thoughts right now, so I don't know. And incubi don't sleep. Another horrid trait, I guess..." Sosuke muttered, leaning up against the neo themed couch, his wings unfolding again...

Her eyes directed to the wings and then back at his eyes. She headed over and sat next to him on the couch. Her phone was placed gently on the table in front of them and she leaned back against the couch. "My sister is attenign school here," she began.

"That a bad thing?" Sosuke asked, his gaze returning to her. It was a bit tempting to let a part of his wing hold her, but he ignored it...

Aphra looked at the ceiling a bit. "My sister never knew why i ran away. I left three years ago and rumor has it she's hear to get revenge for leaving her behind." Aphra lowered her head and laid it on his shoulder. "My father is a cruel man, he can't stop making experiments out of his children."

Sosuke listened, his wing letting itself fall around her shoulders. 'For mortal life to be this cruel...' he thought, shaking his head. "What will you do?..."

Her eyes closed when she felt his wing around her. "I'll just let her do what she wants. My sister doesn't have the guts to kill anyone. That's the only thing about her that's good." Aphra could picture herself now all beaten up from what her father had done to her sister to make her stronger.

Sosuke closed his eyes as well, thinking to himself for a moment..."In my opinion..." he muttered, letting out a sigh, "your dad's kind of a screw up." Then again, what did he know? No family whatsoever...

"I already knew that," she chuckled. She raised her hand a bit and some of the bones slid out of her fingers half way. "He was the one who made me a monster," she said never forgetting it.

Even if Sosuke said she wasnt she still felt it inside, but it made her a bit happy to hear him say it. Her eyes stared into his as he told her. His lack of words made her smile.
