Alpha - Let me take that off your hands. Eli had been sitting there, not really enjoying himself, nor despising the scenario. But, as Wilbur rushed his way up to him a small smirk appeared as someone he knew arrived. Eli laughed at his remarks.
"Here, He said taking Wilbur's drink and giving him his. "This one doesn't have alcohol." He said smirking a bit, it was kinda funny to see Wilbur like this. But at the same time, he didn't wanna worsen it, by having to escort him to the bathroom so he could have his head in a toilet for an hour and then some. Eli sniffed the drink.
"Gross... Rum and coke." He said disdainfully, dumping the drink out and walking off, only to return a moment later with a drink in hand. If olfactory senses weren't present, one would think it was just water, but the strong smell of vodka permeated from the cup. "Drinking, it's a team sport. Remember that one. And no, I haven't seen Hoshi yet." He stated, laughing, then took a swig.
He continued to scan the area, looking for the Omega girls, making sure they wouldn't seek vengeance at a time like this. Thus, why he had his back to grove of palm trees.
His eyes landed on Petra. He recognized her. She was one of the Omega girls he sprayed with sand. He figured since he had somewhat made peace with Kerrigan, he should make his way down the list and apologize to the others. He concentrated a bit, focusing with his powers, he tugged the adamantium cross she wore. Slightly, enough to get her attention. He hoped it'd get her attention. If it did, he'd wave her over. A slight smile on his face, but a kind of softer, friendlier smile.

Omega: Oh, Fun. Finally. She hadn’t planned on following the children through the rat maze, that was the streets of Catalina…But somehow it had happened with, or without her consent. The signs had directed her to the proper beach…But she took a detour, when she felt Carlos energy grow closer and closer. And Evelyn...Together, at that range. She didn't frown... He was allowed to have friends. He could do, whatever the hell he wanted. When he was done playing at…Whatever it was, he was playing at—He knew where she would be. If she allowed him to know. Things were tense and tenuous between them... And she knew that at least half of it was her fault. Yet, all she had left, was her pride—Hanging by a few strings. She wouldn’t give him that. Not again, not yet. He’d failed her—And this was the price he would pay. Just as she paid the price for failing him, and everyone else. An outside observer, she had first been drawn to Christian by the nature of his powers—The country bumpkin that belonged to her. And then her eyes fell to Shandra, and Antonio—Both of whom she expected to see together. Both of which, also belonged to her. However, there was also the factor of the snot nosed little Alpha Reikon had once been so fond of… And the nasty little group of boys that seemed to be stalking them. She let them go, let them make their choices… Let them head towards the alley, as she would have done. Less eyes to see their powers active, in a dark alley. The group of would be thugs had been watching them ever since she’d arrived. She understood why—From a common thief’s perspective. They looked like rich, unsuspecting tourists, with mommies and daddies that would kiss away their booboo’s of getting mugged with more money. Unfortunately for the boys about to attack what was hers, they were stupid. She stood behind them for several moments, her light locked down tightly inside her core—Her small form nigh invisible in the shadowed alcove… Her eyes immediately noticed vulnerable points on the enemy…Kill spots, that she knew were not appropriate here…But her eyes were drawn to anyway. Incapacitate…Not kill. Not yet. Not unless they hurt what was hers. She struck out with the ferocity of a cobra, at one of the men standing nearest to Christian and the Alpha. Shandra and Antonio could more than take care of themselves. Her hand formed a firm line as she chopped one man in the back of the neck with unnecessary force—Glacier eyes unfeeling and cold as he tumbled to the ground in a heap. Narcissa moved again before any more of them could react, using surprise to her advantage, and kicked another man in the back of the knees, grasping his arm as he fell, noting dimly the knife he held. She twisted his arm back as she pushed him down, the unforgiving heel of her boot crushing into his spine as she punched her flat palm against the back of his elbow, pushing it a direction it was never meant to go—Hearing the satisfying breaking of bone. Needless to say he dropped the knife. Unwilling to show the extent of her powers unless necessary, or at all, if she didn’t have to—She dropped the mans arm as if it were a piece of trash, and deliberately kicked him in the temple to stop the screaming, bringing him temporary darkness as she went—evading would be attackers with slight difficulty. They had numbers on their side-- She had pure skill, experience. And memories of being evil, and enjoying breaking bones... It should have disturbed her...But it simply didn't. So far, they weren’t mutants. They were confused—Unorganized. Perhaps attacking these ‘tourists’ wasn’t such a good idea after all… “What the hell are you two to waiting for?”, she snatched Christian’s hand from Sophia’s shoulder and let her energy pump through herself and into him with barely a flicker of light. ”A bloody invitation? Move. Now.” Of course...She might have traumatized Bella's little Alpha and that gave her a small thrill. Bella would have sung the attackers to sleep... But Narcissa was never, and would never be, Isabella. They were scum... They deserved to be punished, for picking on children... And they would be, appropriately.

Omega - So much for playing Backgammon.
In all honesty, the laughing of those goons was straight pissing Christian off. The kids were targeted why? Because they looked like simple tourist kids, out on the town for the evening. Nothing more, nothing less. The simple-mindedness of some people would always infuriate and astound the good ol’ country boy.
He didn’t move a centimeter when Sophia backed into him. If anything, he felt slightly at ease knowing the lass was in that close proximity. It pissed him off even more when they taunted the southern bellflower. One thing he could never tolerate was when someone picked on or tormented anyone he considered a friend or someone he cared about. That was why he took so many lumps growing up. Too many kids picked on his twin sister for his liking, and being the guy he was, he stood up for her. Christian knew that this would be no different.
It didn’t register the first time he saw the glint of light flash from the knife the thug held. It wasn’t until the second flash hit his eye that he knew that one of them was indeed armed. He didn’t care if he got stabbed or sliced up; after having his hand bitten clean through a few weeks prior he knew there was no pain that would top that at the moment. Finally, he stopped relaxing and tensed himself up, knowing he was going to at least try to tackle someone down. That was when SHE showed up.
Christian winced and groaned after watching Cissa take down two of the idiots, one by grotesquely breaking the guy’s arm. “He ain’t gonna be pretty anymore,” Christian said when she kicked the guy in the side of the head rather viciously. But he shut up after that, must have been the goal all along. Without warning, Cissa walked up to him, grabbed the hand resting on Sophie’s shoulder, and charged him up with some energy…
It wasn’t much, the energy she emitted, but it was more than enough for Christian to use. Though it seemed after the ordeal in Limbo, he was developing a slight tolerance for how rich it was… that could only benefit him in the future. Hearing the order to move, Christian was about to do just that… when he saw a few more idiots starting to encircle the trio. Signing their death warrants…, Christian thought as he unleashed a short, yet powerful blast of energy at one of the thugs trying to run up behind Cissa. If Christian were a sinister fellow, he would have smiled when he heard the concussive force of the blast break bones in the thug’s torso. But he wasn’t, and rued the fact that he was forced to take such actions. Quickly, he rationalized that they were the ones that mitigated the use of such force. Equal yet opposite reactions, and all that.
When the idiot with a now shattered sternum and ribs stumbled forwards, he incidentally kicked the knife dropped by another to Christian’s feet. Without a second thought, the Omega rookie knelt down quickly and picked up the knife. If they didn’t have it, they didn’t have to worry too much about getting any serious injury. He winced as he forced his injured left hand into a fist and immediately started to let a deep blue energy swirl around and envelope it. While still on a knee, he unleashed yet again, this time into the leg of an encroaching thug, sending him crashing face first into the pavement. He didn’t have much left, and would have to conserve it for their retreat. “Can’t let ya have all the fun now, eh?,” Christian asked Cissa as he stood up, standing a full foot taller than the Omega’s leader. It was quite a relief having her fight with them rather than against them. If she was that brutal in hand-to-hand, Christian knew he wouldn’t stand a chance against the woman… which is why he was thankful the confrontation they had in Limbo was strictly a lightshow.
She wanted them to retreat, which made a helluva lot of sense, but Christian didn’t like the idea of leaving her by herself to fight these goons. If anything, he quickly assessed that someone should stick around to make sure the gang of thugs were safe from Cissa. But then he realized that Shandra and Antonio were still around the area somewhere.
Christian wasn’t going to say anything to Cissa, it simply wasn’t his place at all. Even though he didn’t necessarily agree with her attitude… or anything about her really, it was somewhat comforting to see her back on her feet. “Good to have ya back, ma’am,” Christian said to Cissa as he started to backpedal and began to leave the scene.
“C’mon, munchkin,” Christian called over Sophia as he folded the knife up and slid it into his pocket. Now was the time to get the Hell out of Dodge.

Alpha - Just Moseying Along
Jack gave a sideways glance to Bella as She spoke then rolled his eyes. " Seriously? you tell him to loosen up then threaten me for being reasonably googly eyed and throwing a complimentary flirt at a pretty thing like you." His definition of flirt was obviously broader then most peoples, and he was still smirking as he watched Bella then leave the group. He glanced at Eli and the others and started feeling he overstayed his welcome for this little crowded pow wow. He'd take another nap then get ready for the bonfire. He waved to them before he left without another word, just a yawn and a carefree air about him. With so many people able to bring a building down around you it was hard to be so. But it couldn't be helped. Just his way.
----skip ----
Jacky woke up and looked at the clock. He groaned as he sat up and wiped at his face. He was going to be late to the bonfire, if that was even possible. He had gotten himself to the condo, took a shower put some boxers on then found his bed way too comfortable. He dozed off and now here he was looking for something last minute to put together as an outfit. Black denim Jeans, a denim vest, cowboy hat and, and casual boots, didn't get anymore random or Texan then that. He looked himself over resisting the habit to flex, and headed out the door. He took his time to get to the other beach. He saw a flash of gold, and when the person turned another direction he saw it to be the Omega leader, Narcissa, and kept on walking, to mind his own business and steer clear. She could by reputation take care of herself, and he wasn't the slightest inclined to test her, atleast not until she was completely sane. Till then she was on a whole new level of spook. Being as he was he liked playing with fire, and watching explosions, but she was one matchstick he had the sense not to strike.
He gazed around the town as he walked looking to see if anything could catch his fancy. He'd be in tomorrow looking more in depth for things to blow money on. He wasn't one for little trinkets but his mother definitely would want something, even a salt shaker just as proof and like some trophy of where he went. Maybe if he was up to it get a gag or something to throw around, not that a joke shop was entirely obvious from where he was walking. Making it to the beach he approached the bonfire still at his lazy pace. He noticed the redheaded Kerrigan off to the side. He wouldn't satisfy the occasion for the outfit outright. As he approached without her notice he took it in as much as he could then became aloof to her as he entered the group and got close to the fire.
Usually when a girl got all gussied up it was for attention and he really didn't think her the type. He also was pretty sure as much as he bugged her it wasn't him, and if it was it'd bother her plenty that he wasn't paying strict attention. All in good fun. Maybe later mingle with her and whoever but just getting here, he wanted to get comfortable, get a drink something in his stomach. He can indulge fine company after that.

Omega - Warrior Bonding
A false smile broke on Carlos face, with the purpose of thanking Evie for her compliment, just past her speaking of experiences on Muir Island. He couldn't help but remember things from his own past and just bring it up. He wasn't the kind of person to one up another person especially one he respected, but her amusement at age and horid experience seemed rather silly to him. " Thanks. Years of being the son of a biochemist and great cook. I'm only twenty'ish. And I killed people since I was about fourteen. Fired an RPG when I was fifteen at a tank. And since coming to the academy failed to distance myself in the slightest from war. Maybe we should start our own PMC. At least then we'd get paid for it. Tattoos, light drug use. Fun, I'd say I deal with it pretty well. I seem normal enough. The best place for an assassino to hide though is plain sight." He turned the bugs that were roasting and looked at them before sliding one off the skewer.
They looked more appealing without the huge veiny wings and head. He broke it in half to show the now fluffy white innards that he ate and sucked out, then crunched the outer shell. Perfect compared to other times. He offered the stick to Evie while clearing his throat to change the subject. " you should see what I can do with hot water and a few poisons and herbs. Too bad all my tea supplies perished in the attack on the mansion. Bella's family owns the label, but drink their wine and you taste my mother's work. at least since early nineteen seventy. A chemistry major in Columbia has few career options. One wrong move into the wrong crowd and I might have grown up drug running. Not that being a Native American war prodigy is any safer. But the Values are different."
He watched the fire as he chewed on a piece of fish and tried some of the eel. He never had or prepared eel in his life but he wasn't going to tell Evie that. He just treated it like any other snake and hoped it came out similar enough. To his surprise and relief it did, with just abit more seafood taste to it. Not the slightest clue how to classify it. It distracted him though from the slight discomfort he created for himself by talking too much. He didn't want to sound ungrateful for his life previous but no way around getting how hard it was, how easy it sounded in comparison to the experience. He didn't look at Evie to make some point out of it. He was just talking and thats where his mind went as they went back and forth. In some way though he was more grateful. She more out of anybody probably understood, compared to other people who hear him talk and either dismiss it or outright disbelieve what he's said. Hard to be in a school and see someone as having that brutal a life. Gideon seemed obvious, and Carlos could empathize. But the guy wasn't exactly as buddy buddy with him as Evie.

Omega: Interesting
Gideon was right.
She knew what metal she was sensing. Part of her powers allowed her high familiarity with the metal content around her. And metals so rare weren't something you came across everyday. She just wanted him to say it. Sometimes it was best not to assume things. But this made things interesting.
The one thing she knew about her parent's demise was that somebody with adamantium claws or weapons killed them. The Morozov family weren't exactly on the straight and narrow. Her father worked for one of the major crime bosses in their corner of Russia. His metal manipulation ability was similar to her own.... and he became a master thief. His last task was to steal adamantium from HYDRA. The only reason she wasn't dead herself was because her mother shipped her off to model in Paris years prior to keep Petra out of the family business.
Petra came home for a visit and her parents were dead on the floor. Her father wore an omnium shield... only one substance she knew of on the planet could slice through it. Three long streaks through it and through her father. Adamantium. The collar around her neck was made of part of the onmium shield her father used. As much as she thought karma caught up to the man, she wanted answers. When she fumbled through his belongings later, she found the evidence of his last task along with a small chunk of the metal. It wasn't enough to do anything with so she took it and wears it on her person.
Flash forward to meeting Wolverine for the first time. She got the same feeling she did around this Gideon fellow. The claws, of course, made her confront and ask her teacher if it was him that was responsible. He wasn't. And her questions remained. She didn't know who specifically killed her parents and why. Did she have an inkling? Yes. But nothing was truth until it came from somebody's mouth.
Adamantium.
"Ms. Frost... tricky woman. You want me to find out myself and not put in files," Petra muttered to herself and took a sip of the vodka. There would be questions for this Gideon. But not tonight. She didn't really know how she felt on the matter at the moment. It was more 'matter of fact' than anything.
Some people wouldn't notice the unnatural pull on their necklace. Being that her will was keeping the back side of it drawn to her skin, she noticed when somebody else's manipulation was trying to pull it away from her.
"Wind boy," She muttered and looked at Eli curiously. Despite his antics prior she, of course, noticed that he was quite handsome in looks. The vodka was enough to calm her annoyance from earlier. Well, a friendly smile also helped her annoyance disappear.
"Are we done with kid games?" She called to him with a smile while walking over to him with her purse tossed over her shoulder and drink in hand, "I'm Petra. And you are?"

Relaxing at the bonfireAfter Narcissa left them at the beach Forellen passed a weary hand across her face since it didn’t look like anything else was going to happen she politely excused herself and padded back to the condo. She spent a minute or two wiping some of the sand off her persons so she didn’t trail it through the halls. As soon as she had some of the sand off she hurried to the shower. Narcissa must have been done in there because it was empty so Forellen showered off the remaining sand and got dressed before retiring to her room. She felt really drained right now and a nap would get her through the bonfire without her falling asleep half way through it. She nudged her bag out from in front of her bed and crawled into the bed. As soon as her head hit the pillow she was out cold. Forellen nearly slept straight passed the bonfire’s starting time. Glaring at the clock with a bleary eyed expression Forellen dragged herself out of bed and dragged a hand through her hair rubbing her face with the other. With a yawn she began to make herself presentable for the occasion, namely combing her hair, putting a touch of makeup on and pulling on some fresh, unwrinkled cloths. Once she was dressed she padded outside still waking up. Pulling herself back together she paused at the punch bowl and sighed knowing the smell of alcohol. Forellen wasn’t much of a drinker to be honest about it. She would have a glass of wine on occasion with her dinner and occasionally to help relax but other than that she really didn’t do any drinking. As she moved to find a seat to sit and relax she spied a few bottles sitting in ice buckets at the end of the table and narrowed her eyes slightly as she moved to investigate them. Now don’t get Forellen wrong, most wines were pleasant but others...not so much and if you had someone who didn’t have a clue about wine making the selections then you more than likely got a very cheap brand named wine instead of a slightly more quality wine. There were only four bottles put out for them and three of them were of a higher than average quality and the other Forellen was almost afraid to open as it was one a very high quality wine of a good age. Temptation gave in and Forellen popped the cork on a bottle and helped herself to a small glass of it before padding over to a chair and looking around for anyone else.

⌠Ω+M+ε+G+α⌡- Alcohol makes the world all spinny After their conversation Leion joined the others as they went to get some food and fun before the bonfire. It ended up to be a rather uneventful trip with some good food. He was starting to like these two new Alphas, he really preferred staying out of the team rivalry but this new friendship could cause some problems in the foreseeable future. ♦♠♦♠♦♠♦♠♦♠♦♠♦ Ah, the bonfire, the event everyone had been waiting for and looking forward to and blah, blah, blah. Leion had arrived rather early, well early to most people, and had just hung around, enjoying a few free beverages before discovering they were spiked, not really speaking to anyone until more of the X-men showed up. And now that they were here Leion's world was starting to spin, to him at least, the alcohol in the spiked drinks had finally begun to sink in and he was slightly drunk now. Not stupid drunk, just drunk enough that his motor skills were affected and his speech was slightly slurred. Now he spotted the Alphas he had been talking to earlier, Wilbur and Eli if his cloudy head remembered correctly, and the new girl that had been with the other Omega girls which by common sense meant that she was most likely a new Omega. He sauntered waveringly over to the small group and slung his right arm over Wilbur's shoulders "Guy's watch out for the drinks" he said as his head lolled slightly to one side "They maa~ke the world all spinny~"

Alpha - Catalina - Catching up to the group Raine waited patiently while Varian purchased whatever he was looking at. There were some things they could chat about, mostly about music, though for the most part it was silence between them. While some people might find it awkward, Raine was at relative ease. Of course she was an expert at conversation, but it was nice to just be quiet for a bit and focus on the figurines and crystals that glistened on the store shelves. She knew time was passing and that their group was probably waiting at the restaurant by now, but the last thing she wanted to do was rush the blonde telepath and make him upset with her. When he was ready to go, the two exited the store, the lightning bug looking over to where the group had been before and seeing that they were gone. Most likely they made their way to a table at the grill, but it wasn’t long before she caught sight of a small music store off to the side, her eyes lighting up. Thoughts of her new cello came to the forefront of her imagination, the brunette not able to resist the urge to go inside. While she knew that the rest of the group would probably be wondering where the two of them were, she had a feeling that some of their group might enjoy a little alone time. The thought made her smile. It was amazing how being surrounded by something you were passionate about could make time fly by. While most of the store’s wares were different musical instruments, they did have a small selection of slightly outdated sheet music. Nevertheless, some of it looked really interesting, the Alpha walking out of the store with her wallet a little lighter than before. It was getting dark, meaning that she had probably spent a little more time talking to the cute store clerk about island music than she intended, though it was worth it. When Bella’s voice rang through the comms, informing them of the bonfire, she had invited the clerk to come when he finished his shift. Hopefully he would come. Tossing her curls over her shoulder as Raine attempted to find the rest of her group, she no longer saw them at the restaurant they were supposed to meet at, indicating to her that they probably already ate and left. She hoped that they wouldn’t be too upset with her, or Varian for that matter, but it was nice to take some time away from everything and focus only on the music. And the cute sales guy. Taking off to the streets, she decided it would be best to head back towards the mansion first, with the hopes of running into the group on the way back. She had her suspicions that they would be having a grand old time, walking, talking and laughing. However, when she heard the sound of a scuffle, culminating in a pained male scream, the brunette’s placid face suddenly turned to one of concern. While others might be thinking that it could be anyone in trouble, Raine had a new sneaking suspicion that it was someone she cared for. Students at the Academy had a real knack for running into trouble. By the time she made it to her friends, Christian had Sophia by the arm, leading her away from a fierce looking Narcissa, standing over a man with a clearly broken arm. Her eyes darted between all the parties, making sure that those important to her were safe. There were more thug-ish looking men around, the brunette smart enough to figure out what had happened without really needing to hear the whole story. Moving quickly over to her friends, she gave them a look of concern, brushing her hand over Sophia’s shoulder as she passed to silently make sure she was alright. Her gaze set to the rest of the men there, seeming to focus on Narcissa as the blonde called for them to get out of the alleyway. It was a fierce gaze that seemed almost unnatural considering her normal temperament, but then men had messed with her friends, and she was never one to take something like that lightly. Her steps were deliberate towards them, the girl dropping her bags mid-stride as she felt her own internal stores of static starting to disperse to her limbs, involuntarily sending a small shower of sparks from her fingertips. Unfortunately, she did not seem to have the same grip of her powers as some of the others at the Academy, intense emotions still enough to accidently spark an outburst. The anger festering in the pit of her stomach was enough to bring on one of these outbursts. “ What the hell is the matter with you, picking on kids,” she spat at them, finding herself next to Narcissa as she shoved one approaching man away, a visible shock causing him to let out a cry of surprise. Her exposed skin was glistening now, sporadic sparks glittering her arms and illuminating her face. It might have been pretty, save the absolutely livid expression in her eyes. However, she knew that as Cissa was pushing for the others to leave, she should join them. While she knew little of the Omega leader, it was clear that insubordination would do nothing but get her in trouble. However, at the moment the thought of letting Cissa take over punishing these men for their actions against her friends went against all her better judgment. Ducking under one attacker’s arm, she grabbed his wrist, wrenching it around so that it was pressed at an awkward angle between her front and his back. Her other hand reached around, grabbing his cheeks as electricity crackled from her hand, shocking him just enough to make it hurt. “ Tell them to leave,” she practically hissed, unsure and uncaring of whether or not this man actually had power to call the herd off. Rather than comply with her request, he struggled, Raine releasing another quick burst of low-level electricity into his face, wrenching his arm upwards slightly to keep him from continuing to struggle. His cry did little to affect her as she solidified her grasp on him once more, face still set in a stone cold expression. She yelled at him again, her voice louder now, fingernails pressing dangerously into his cheeks without breaking the skin. It was a Raine rarely, if ever, seen. “ Tell your friends to stop and get the hell out of here!”

Alpha - I better not be a babysitter tonight.. Eli glanced over to Wilbur to ensure that he was doing fine. He wasn't wasted, which was a good thing, if he was after a cup of rum and coke, Eli would have to talk to him later. But, already a bit wobbly, East Coasters must be lightweight.
He took another swig of his Vodka and took a deep breath through his mouth, and it chilled his throat. That was his vodka chaser.
As Petra made her way over he waved with his free hand then offered his drink in cheers in place of a handshake, considering one hand had a drink and her other had a purse. "My name is Elliot. J prefer to go by Eli (E-lie). Sorry about earlier, it was a stupid prank I admit. Peace?" He asked, raising an eyebrow in question.
"If it helps, I'll tell you a little about myself. I have the ability to generate Electromagnetic fields, as well as manipulate existing ones. This also allows me to manipulate metals through magnetism. Kinda like magneto, but I don't have radical intentions." He said, adding a bad joke. As he finished speaking Leion walked up to the three and slung his arm around Wilbur and slurred away a sentence. Eli looked down to his half empty cup and chugged the rest, followed by the usual routine of taking a deep breath. "This may be a long night for me... He said to Petra, chuckling a bit.

Alpha:Beach-hidden bonfire, hidden feelings. Vallon grinned as he was led by Maddy to a smaller more secluded fire pit, there was no one around at all and he could see the ocean line from this spot. He smirked as Madison fiddled with the fire and he looked at the stars they where so clear tonight, it was a brilliant and beautiful sight. Then Vallon felt her grab his arm and tug him to the ground next to her as she sat he grinned and sat cross legged next to her and began to pull out their food supplies. "So it's be a while, I...I'm glad tha it's just me an you, this time." Vallon said fumbling a little on the words he was trying to say, then he remembered the carnival and the words she had said before she asked him to dance. "You need to be confident, girls like that."Vallon took a deep breathe and exhaled as he got out the bag of marshmallow's and he looked over at Maddy sitting next to him she looked beautiful illuminated by the fire's dim light, he smirked and opened the bag getting out a marshmallow and placing it on a stick. "Wha i meant ta say was, I missed ya. I'm sorry i couldn't be in tha fight with ya, I should have been there. I'm sorry I wasn't." Vallon said as he held the end of the stick with the marshmallow over the flame and let it cook. "But I do want ta talk with ya, about a lot o' things, but first I want ta know more about ya, what ya like, what ya don't. What yer favorite books are, an movies. I could go on apologizin all night but then I'd be a wastin this beautiful night an I don't want ta waste it. So Maddy I figure what we could do with tonight is just spend it together talkin or anythin else ya want ta do." He said with a smile and a slight blush as he looked at Maddy the fire light dancing across her face, he couldn't help but stare at her. She was beautiful, and even the night's sky paled in comparison to her.

Alphas: Call from Home and warnings
after eating dinner with Wilbur and Eli, Hoshi returned to her room to dress in warmer clothes. while she was doing this, her cellphone rang. She picked it up with great hopefulness. The only person she'd given her cell number to was Sorcha. Hoshi sucked in a breath. "Sorcha, is that you?" "..." Hoshi smiled into the phone. "......*sniff*"
Hoshi's smile faded as the sound of her sister's tears reached her. "Sorcha love, whats the matter?" she asked. "you're gonna die!" Sorcha wailed. Hoshi lifted an eyebrow. Morgan was the one given to dramatics, not Sorcha. "What makes you say that love?" Sorcha was crying too hard to answer now. "oi, don't be silly shay!" Morgan's voice came over the phone. "She thinks you're gonna die cause the mansion blew up cause of that gas leak. We saw it on the news the other day and she's still upset." Morgan stated in a bored tone.
"give the phone to her please Morgan." Hoshi said with a new smile. "*SNIFF*" Hoshi spoke in Japanese to doubly reassure her sister. "We were on a field trip when the mansion blew up pet. Right now we're on vacation in California so that it can be repaired. I'm safe, I promise. you know what though? I'm so happy to hear you talking again." "...." Hoshi sighed. She supposed it was too much to ask of her sister. "Well, I have to go meet a friend so I need to go. I Love ya munchkin. tell everyone I said so, okay?" she told Sorcha. "..." the phone clicked off and Hoshi smiled again and went down to the bonfire.
ten minutes later she was back inside rubbing spearmint lip balm on the insides of her nose. She didn't know what it was, but even the smell of alcohol make her tipsy like and mint was the only thing that blocked the smell. God forbid she actually drink.... she shuddered as she remembered the one time she had gotten drunk... it hadn't been fun at all.
Spotting Wilbur, Eli, and Leion, Hoshi joined the group. "Sorry I'm late Wilbur. my sis called." She looked around "okay, this is for you too Eli." she began pointing the Alpha's out. "I don't know much personal stuff about anyone, and nearly nothing about the omagas. That's Bella and her boyfriend Gideon. He's related to Wolverine somehow. You guys havn't met him yet- so I'll warn you now- should you happen to do something bad and Wolverine catches you doing it, DO NOT lie. He can tell when people lie, and he can be kind of a hardass." Hoshi spent the next ten minutes pointing out the various people she recognized.
She spotted Forellen sitting by herself and smiled. "The two Omgas that i do know something about are Forellen and Narcissa-there the girls you got sand on earlier today Eli. Forellen generates viruses, basically. she never gets sick and can make the Ebola virus look like a head cold when she gets through with manipulating it... when we were rescuing Narcissa, she made this virus that had the demons scratching themselves to death quite literally. it was gross." Hoshi scanned the beach for Narcissa. "I don't see Narcissa, but I'm not surprised. she's gone though a bunch of crap in the last couple of months. She was kidnapped by a crazyass guy intent on taking over the world and was brainwashed. The guy wanted to create an perfect army or something and thought she was the mother of said nation. so as you can imagine, she has a few issues at the moment."
Hoshi grabbed an unopened bottle of water and chugged it. "So, any questions?"

Omega: Peace... for a moment
"Eli," She said in her thick accent and nodded, "Good to meet you officially then. Prank stupid, but we okay, yes?" He was nice enough to apologize so she could move on from it. Next time, though, she might have to pull out the stops and go back after him.
His power sounded interesting. It was something that could either hurt or help her own. Too bad they were on opposite teams. A magnetic mutant and a metal manipulating mutant. Now that would be an intense battle. She wondered how her own strength countered his power strength. A battle of wills when it came to hold on a metal. Could be fun.
"Ah, thought you were wind power when felt the pull on my necklace. Make more sense now. I am ah... what did Gideon say... Metal manipulator. Us two will work good together or very bad," She joked and and tipped her cup to him watching as Leion came over slurred. This humored her. It was going to be a lot more fun for her that evening since she was probably going to be the more sober one of the lot. So she played devils advocate and helped encourage, "You boys need to drink more and pour me cup."
She had no problem finishing off her brew. It was warm going down and that was quite all right. Hoshi came over and gave the run down of who was who. Much of which she knew, but one thing struck out in the conversation. She muttered, "Gideon like Wolverine.... exactly like him or different power?"
If he were exactly like him... well now, that just made her questions more interesting for Mr. Gideon at a later date.

Alpha: War Stories
"Well, I have the tattoos down for that. But me taking light drugs is about as effective as trying to hide a mouse from Bella," She laughed a bit and made a joke at her own expense, "Unless the drugs are of the Mystique variety." Her own joke made her stomach hurt in reminder of the two blasts to the abdominal wall she took from the woman that took her for a ride. Putting a hand on her stomach, she made a slight face not liking that Mystique had her number and she knew it.
She took the stick of cicadas from Carlos and was quite intrigued by them. She examined the critters a bit before eating them. She didn't make a face or even think twice. She's had enough guns in her face in a lifetime to be intimidated by eating something out of the ordinary for her. Carlos mentioning possessions being lost at the Institute made her wonder how much of her own was still there. But she also realized that she didn't own much that she was attached to. She muttered, "I never checked my stuff. But I mostly only owned clothes and swords.... None were quite as cool as they one I swiped from Illy. To me, things are just things. Can you reclaim your collection over time? Maybe the fun of the hunt? Although I'm sure it's not as easy as that so I should stop offering advice where I don't know what the hell I'm talking about."
"Now, eel, I have eaten. Have you ever had eel sushi? It's.... different. I have to try this. I'm starving. I blame my mutation. Some days I feel like I burned the calories of an Olympic swimmer." She tried some of Carlos' creation not liking it as much as the fish but it was edible and would do. Her thoughts started to drift onto random things as they sat on the beach and ate. Her last statement led her to randomness, "I wish I could be an Olympian. Although, I suppose saving the world should be gold medal enough. Very all-American of me and completely not my personality type. I got bored on Muir and would think of things like what my career would be if I had to quit being an X-Man. Not quite as dark or deep as your war stories, but the mind wanders and we have all night to share battle scars. If you never came to the Institute, do you think you would have gotten out of your place in life?"
She went back to eating the fish which was pretty good. She didn't try to share war stories. Her interest was more in listening to his. The history of her life was mostly an open book to most already and she always felt it was less of a challenge than folks like Carlos. Yes, it was rough losing her mother to the attack on Genosha. But she grew up at the Xavier Institute. That was a cake walk compared to the places some folks grew up. Maybe her view was skewed. Most kids didn't grow up fighting mutant wars. She was by the age of sixteen. It could be a little of her do or die attitude or her matter of fact, guns blazing approach... but it was all neither here nor there at the moment. She just wanted more of this fish.

Alphas:Rudeness is not acceptable
Hoshi jumped in surprise as the new omaga talked to her. "Oh my god, I'm so rude! I didn't even see you there!" She bowed deeply to the new girl. "Hi, My name is Hoshi. You are?" she asked.
as the omega introduced herself, Hoshi thought about her question. "you know, Im not really sure. Considering the last month of my life there, I'd say any of the rumors I've heard are true. One popular one is that Gideon is Wolverine's clone, but I don't know about that. One is that Gideon is his son. there are more radical theories, but they're all pretty stupid. the least stupid being that he is wolverine, but from another dimension." Hoshi shrugged. "I've only been at the school for awhile and Wolverine is... intimidating when he isn't grouchy, so I've been too attached to my head to ask."she stated jokingly.
