Mifune smiled as he listened to his cousin. When he explained the Ikamono Chishio (Fake blood) Mifune's tactical mind already had a dozen uses for that particular jutsu and none of them were pleasant. He picked up the kunai he had tossed into the air earlier and formed a single handsign. He threw the kunai at his cousin's neck but not close enough to actually cause blood. He bombarded his cousin's mind with his charka and would make it appear as if the kunai had severed his cousin's Carotid Arteries creating a large stream of blood. His knowledge of the human anatomy would also make this one nasty for him.

Nexus braced himself for the incoming strike of the sharp blade. The kunai seemed to just slip past his neck and the plunge into the tree that stood behind him. Was it a failure at performing the jutsu? Nexus felt his neck and then looked at his hand. There was a single drop of blood on his hand. "It hit? But why didn't it-..." Nexus' train of though was cut off before he then felt a rush of blood spraying from his neck. The crimson color of blood filled the air in front of him and Nexus was forced to drop down onto his knees. Nexus felt his consciousness begin to fade before the illusion faded. He put his hand over his throat where the wound was. The kunai barely even nicked him and there was only a single drop of blood on his hand. "Well, that one was definitely successful. Now, I guess we oughta continue... Let's go back to visual genjutsu. That's what Uchiha are best at, anyway. Plus, I don't en up feeling sick from getting hit by these ones. Now, I want you to use the Drunken Sight Technique on me. Use you chakra to alter my vision and cause it to become blurry. This will throw off someone's equilibrium by messing up their depth perception, too. All-in-all, it works well for slowing people down. Not much of an attack, though. Now, perform the technique."

[Genin] [Ranmaru] [Konoha] Despite the small protest Kaede had shown earlier to him using it on others, Manami couldn't help but glance about and entertain the thought of testing his genjutsu on one of the two new boys. One of them he recognized as a complete douche, in his opinion, and man who was full of himself and didn't yet realize how much lesser than everyone he was. When he gazed at the black-haired fellow next to him, he was indifferent, having never met the person before. Still, he generally had no idea what type of traumatic would she could weave for the others, maybe leave it open to their mind? The human brain was very open to suggestions, even more-so when that suggestion was a gentle push made by a genjutsu user. He turned his had back to the little girl, studying her for a moment to create a mini-horror for her to experience. All he could think of was the stuffed doll that she held in her hand, that she always held in her hand. Maybe it had some sort of significance to her? Nevertheless, he would try it out, as she had asked for it.
Forcing a smile onto his indifferent expression he gave Kaede a gentle way, attempting to attract her attention with the simple gesture. As soon as her eyes would stray to his hand, she would be caught. The impending scene being the result of his quick thinking, what she would see if him slowly walking up to her with the same smile, casually reaching for, and wrenching the doll from her grasp. Then, he withdrew a kunai from one of his pouches and tore into the doll, cutting it to pieces with the same smile etched on his face. Of course, when she stopped the technique, she would find that he hadn't moved, that his expression was back to normal, and that the doll was still within her hand. Hopefully for him it worked, since Manami didn't want to become known as Manami the Mediocre, as he believed many others were.

Takeshi listened as Kaede told him what he was suppose to do, listening carefully he patiently waited until she was done speaking. Once she was done, he focused his chakra into his right fingers. When enough chakra had been formed into his fingers he ran them down the ground around them, small static strings raced after his fingers.

Something deep inside him something dark and disturbing took an immense pleasure in seeing his cousin wrapped up in his genjutsu. Mifune did not know what to make of it other than he needed to think about it. He shook such thoughts from his mind as he listened to his cousin and said," Agreed but when it comes to the stronger ones we may not have a choice." He memorized the details his cousin spoke of and quickly through of a plan. He formed a handsign and maneuvered his chakra into his cousin's retina's and inner ear. From there he would begin crafting the illusion that his cousin had just spend the entire day out on the town hitting up sake bar's one after the other. He actually wanted to see the effects this one had.

Kaede was fairly easy to distract when she wasn't fighting. So her eyes wandered to his hands, and then it began. Manami walked up to her, and grabbed Mr. Fluffykns. She couldn't move, couldn't stop the wretched child from destroying her favorite famu famu. When the genjutsu ended, Kaede stared directly into Manami's eyes. She narrowed them till they were only slits, and seemed to grow in size. It was almost as if blackness had taken over. In that brief glance, death intentions were transmitted. Kaede brushed past Manami into the cover of the tress. She disappeared for a moment, and then silence. Out of nowhere, a piercing shriek sounded, that lasted exactly 1:15 seconds. Kaede then came back to her spot, and did not mention the genjutsu at all. "The next technique is the sly fellow mind skill. With this you'll be able to confuse your enemy, causing them to loop around in the same spot. This keeps them rooted in an area, allowing you to perhaps make an escape or remain undetected." Kaede turned in time to see Takeshi perform the static strings technique. "Very good. The next technique is the Burst Technique. You'll push your chakra throughout your entire body in a steady even flow, which will make you emit an electrical current around your body. People who touch you will get shocked, but you can't move while this is active." Kaede showed him the hand seals and turned back to Manami.

Description: An overall simple move that is generally taught to genin to assist in generating and controlling chakra for the sake of ninjutsu, the shinobi vents electric chakra from his entire body, causing anyone that touches or attacks him to receive minor electrical shocks and burns. The shinobi cannot move while in this state.

Nexus looked directly at Mifune as he performed the technique. It was mere seconds before Nexus vision began to blur and Nexus lost balance. He began to wobble and his cheeks grew red. Nexus attempted to walk but fell flat on his face with a loud thud. He lifted is body limply and then wobbled back and forth as he looked at Mifune with a stupid drunk stare. Nexus seemed to be completely intoxicated, but he actually didn't ever drink. Nexus, again, tried to stand straight up and walk, but it was useless. "Y-you...you are good at...this genjutsu thingy... Now...let's wait...for this one to end..." Nexus finished speaking with his broken up speech and then plopped onto the ground until the illusion wore off. It took Nexus a little bit to get up and maintain balance, but he did it. "Ahem.... Now that the whole drunken thing is over, I believe it is time for the last genjutsu on this list of E-Ranks. After this, we can continue with whatever other jutsu that you want to learn. Now, the next jutsu is the stupification technique. This technique is use to stop someone's movements by trapping them in a state of paralysis by using fear. So I want you to use the illusion to strike fear into me. I'll be trying to burn you cinders until you succeed. Ready....BEGIN!" Nexus darted forward with great speed and thrust forward his lit cigarette at Mifune multiple times. Every time he would dodge, Nexus would come at him again and try to shove the burning cigarette against Mifune's skin. This would help Mifune think on his toes a bit better, too.

Fear. That same dark part of him giggled at the thought of introducing someone to pure unadulterated fear. He stared into his cousins eyes as his cousin lunged at him. Mifune had fast reflexes and could easily think on the move. He was incredibly cunning and intelligent. Not to mention his tactical mind. However even with that his brother still surprised him a bit as he nicked Mifune's arm with the cigarette. Pushing the pain out of his mind as he continued to bob and weave, he kept his mind and eyes focus in his cousin he formed a single handsign and unleashed an all out assault on his cousin's temporal lobes, the part that played the biggest part in fear. His cousin was, while a good man, arguably the vainest man in existence. It would be easy to grip him in fear. As he assaulted his cousins brain he would imagine himself hideously repulsive, covered in bleeding sores and stricken with leprosy. A hated outcast. While it was harsh it would serve to get his point across. Not to mention the cunning that went into the execution of the jutsu would make it all the more realistic. When his cousin stopped dead he took a step around him and muttered," Sorry cousin."

Nexus' thinking began to stop and then his mind wandered into a realm that seemed like a whole new reality. Where was was he? He looked around. Everything was black. There was only him. He knew he was in a Genjutsu and just thought he would wait out the effects. Nexus rubbed his eyes, but something felt different. What was that? He looked at his hands. His skin had grown rough. It almost looked like he had scales or something. He felt his hands and they were hard as rock and swollen. What was wrong? He felt his face. He felt lumps. He felt like there were tons of little lumps everywhere, all over his face. Suddenly, he noticed a mirror appear. It came closer to him, close enough for him to get a good look at his reflection. He had grown boils all over his face and there were warts and infested wounds all over his body, too. Who would love him now that he looked like this? How would he be successful in life without his looks? He relied on them so much! Suddenly, a crowd of people appeared around him, pointing at him, and they were laughing, too! "Stop it! All of you! Stop laughing at me!" Nexus began to scream. He was so scared of this reality. He just wanted it to end. He knew it was an illusion, but it was too much for him. He couldn't stand to be inferior, nor could he stand to be ugly. The illusion would then end and Nexus would drop to his knee for a moment from shock. He then would recover and quickly whip out a cigarette and light it. He would take a long toke from and the nicotine would relax his body. "Oh yeah... That feels good." Turning to his cousin, Nexus would grow a scowl on his face. He wasn't too happy with the way that Mifune used that jutsu, but he did it well, nonetheless. "Good job, but I'm not letting you use any jutsu involving fear on me ever again,", he said, finishing his cigarette and lighting another so that he could compltely ease his nerves.

A small smile crept across his face as Mifune nodded and said," I agree. I am going to have to find another target to use the more advanced ones on anyway. I had no intention of doing them on you so its best to deal with that now rather than later. " He flopped down next to his cousin. He had spent over a third of his chakra and needed a rest.

Nexus finished his cigarette and stomped out the butt of it on the ground. He began to walk towards the village center, but turned his head back to face Mifune as he walked. "Hey, I'm getting hungry. Let's get some ramen or something before we continue. I'll buy." Nexus then turned his head forward and just walked off.

 ____________________________Miho_______ Konohagakure / Assassin / Genin / Iron Sand [RP day 3]Still beat up from her shock training, Miho sat in the brush surrounding the training grounds. Her body ached, the pain almost unbearable, but she needed to ignore it and learn, learn about her bloodline and heritage. Knowing this did not make it easier though, he skin burned, several places were noticeable. As she reached into her dress and pulled out the scroll she ached, but endured. Reading over the scroll it explained how her bloodline had control over metal objects, reading further it explained how the first Kazekage watched, and studied a one tailed host and learned to mimic there sand control by breaking down metals into a Iron Sand. The breaking down of metal objects, like ninja tools, was the first of many jutsu that the scroll explained. Pulling out a kunai, and putting it in front of her Miho breathed deeply as she copied the hand signs from her scroll. She molded chakra, pictured the kunai failing apart, into a small pile of sand. As she closed her eyes, she felt the jutsu start to work, the chakra leave her body, but when she open her eyes again the kunai was only partly broken down. Letting out a deep sigh Miho redid the seals focused her chakra, she did not rush it though, she took her time, slowly molded the chakra, made sure each sign was held tightly. As she focused her breaths were deep, and slow, almost like she was meditating. Just as the jutsu finished, just as the kunai was going to finish breaking down she closed her eyes, and thought of nothing, just let the cool darkness behind her eye lids flow over her and she felt it work. Before she opened her eyes she knew it, and was relived. Missing the jutsu again, having to remold, or use more chakra would have burnt her out. She would have most likely passed fainted, but just like her feeling told her when she opened her eyes and saw a small pile of iron dust. Pushing her chakra out to the iron sand she lifted and swirled it around her hand. As she did this she thought "Along time ago the first Kazekage did this, my family did it, my father." As she thought her emotions clogged her throat, her eyes were fixed on the iron sand that danced around her hand. She waited, and thought, she was exhausted, her stamina dwindling from her training almost to the point she was almost un able to stand. Soon though, she stopped thinking about her father, mother, about her bloodline, she stopped thinking about everything and just watched the small metal flakes as they swayed back and forth to her will, and she happy. With the pain or training came a low calm that Miho found very peaceful as she sat in the brush and the day faded behind her. [Chakra Pool: 22/25]

[Genin] [Ranmaru] [Konoha] Throughout the whole ordeal of Kaede's rage, the creepy slight smile remained, etched onto his face in an effort to keep the emotion with him. However, he couldn't help but shiver at the gaze the little girl gave off, full of hate. Had the genjutsu been a truly bad idea? Did she really have that much of a connection with her stuffed dolls? The concept was laughable to him, since material objects were always prone to decay, and destruction as his jutsu had clearly shone. He flinched when she disappeared, blasting wind in his face as she brushed past him. A slight hint of fear touched him, but it was gone when he heard the scream out in the woods. Perhaps she was mature enough to control her urge to kill, and reasonable, since she did ask him to cast it upon her.
When the little girl returned, he couldn't help but chuckle. It sounded like light, feminine laughter, further reinforcing the idea that Manami was a girl. It took him a bit to settle down, and when he did, the smile faded back to his neutral expression. More concentrated, really, as Kaede began to teach again. His 'teacher' made him want to play with her more and more as she displayed her childish attitude. Part of it was due to him faintly grasping at a false superiority, the other was to simply enjoy himself when he'd otherwise be solemn and depressed. Gently, he nodded his head, absorbing the information like a sponge. Immediately after she stopped talking to him he got to work, his hands moving about in several seals in order to weave the technique. And suddenly, like many of the other techniques he performed it was done, all that was left was for Kaede to experience. Casually, he looked off to the right, and pointed off into the distance. "Hey... that kinda' looks like a random shiny object..."(( Behold! My powerful procrastination skills! ))

Mifune arrived apparently before his cousin since he could not see him. So he simply sat down and formed a single handseal and meditated. He kept his mind and ears open in case something unexpected happened.
