Shayera rolls her eyes, resisting the urge to snort with laughter at Yamatano. She isn’t trying to be cruel, but what most people don’t see about Shayera right away is that she has her own set of values and beliefs and social norms, and she is an extremely narrow-minded person. Her word is law in her own head, and nothing will drive her form her beliefs. Her voice is thick with tears and sarcasm as she responds to Yamatano’s question. He clearly wasn’t seeing what her point was.
“Ask Kanzuki. I will swear on my mother’s grave, and the Lady Kazekage’s life that I have not asked Kanzuki one single question about Kirigakure since we met, with the obvious exception of me asking what village he was from. And I will remind you, Yama, that you were, in fact, present when this occurred. You don’t seem to get that. I don’t care what you do in Kirigakure. I don’t care if you boil live fricking puppies and wear them as slippers while you all run around in pink ballerina tutus! I am with Kanzuki for one reason, and on reason only. And that reason, as I have said before, is because I love him. And, if you would like to periodically ask him for the duration of our stay on Nagi Island, or the duration of the exams, whichever you prefer, I will not ask one single question about Kirigakure, you, Kai, Lord Mizukage, or anyone. The most intrusive question I’ve asked him is why he became a Shinobi, and I asked him because he asked me first. I love Kanzuki for him. Not for any other reason. Not because I’m so ridiculously crafty that I’ve been trying to seduce him into feeding me information about Kiri or its Shinobi, and certainly not because I care in the least what goes on in Kiri. I love him because he is him. I want what most sane girls want. I want to live my life. I want to grow up and have a husband who adores me that I adore back. I want to live in a quiet little house in one of the Hidden Villages. I want to have kids. I want to prove myself. I want to be loved. I’m not trying to condemn Kanzuki to any of these things if he doesn’t want to be them. I’m trying to find that one person that I can spend the rest of my life with. I want my happily ever after with the man I love. And right now, that person happens to be sitting right there.” The last part of her little tirade causes her to raise her voice a bit, pointing directly at Kanzuki, who has remained seated all this time. “I love him, Yama. and not for any other reason than just because he is himself. "Unless of course you want to answer the question instead?" He turned his eyes towards the girl, leveling his glare on her. If she wanted to talk, she could answer his question, and he had no real doubts she had said something at this point. When everyone refused to answer such a simple question, it was obvious what the answer was. He just wanted to know how much these people knew about his villagers, and how much pain the stupid girl would have to suffer before her eventual end. "How much did you tell your new boyfriend about us girl?" He growled again, leaving no place to refuse. If they knew something, he needed to know what, so he could compensate for that knowledge. Shayera rolls her eyes at David as he addresses her. She meets his gaze completely, knowing that he’s trying to intimidate her. He clearly never had met her father.
“First, David, I have a name. I expect to be politely addressed using said name, as I am doing to you. Secondly, I have told them nothing that concerns you, so you can calm yourself down. The most that was said concerning you is that you’re a jerk. Whatever information my team and I may have given away concerns no one but the three of us, Tanzu, Kira, and myself. And another thing, I don’t seem to recall anyone having invited you into this conversation, and it is incredibly rude to interrupt when people are speaking. Since you have chosen since before the start of the exams to distance yourself away from myself, Tanzu, and Kira, you are not included when using the word ‘us’. When I use the word ‘us’, I am speaking of the three of us, and no one else. Anyone else will be added in by name.” She snaps at him. I am so fricking tired of that kid acting like he’s God all of the time. He talks down to everyone, including Lady Kazekage and I’m sick and tired of him being a jerk to everyone, including Shinobi from his own village, she rages to herself.

This had happened the first day he met her, and here it was happening again. Why did these people have to prove they were the top dog? "You were about to start a fight with a foreign shinobi outside of test perimeters, which would get you thrown out of the exams, and the rest of us watched. You have no place left to speak."  "Damn you, Oinin training......" Yamatano thought to himself as he tried to figure out how he would get out of this situation without this girl swearing a vendetta upon him. The arrival of this new boy had seemed to upset her even more. Dealing with emotionally unstable people......was not Yamatano's thing. "Interperet it however you want, I was just reading the situation for what I percieved. Maybe I was wrong, but in any case, I was right to at least be suspicious. And I will not have you talk about my village that way, especially if you choose to date my teammate and friend, who I should remind you, is from that village." Yamatano said, not backing down. Despite her big words and her harsh tone, Yamatano did not fear her. If their discussion escalated to blows, Yamatano would be able to end the fight quite easily by summoning a Kyodaija to scare her into submission. And if that didnt work, well, Yamatano himself was no pushover either. Turning back to the small boy, who apparently wanted to know quite a bit, Yamatano decided to tell him..........some of what he knew. "Well, I know that this girl is of the famed Nara clan, and the other two teammates......seem to hate each other quite a bit." He said, his one visible eye locked in a gaze with the young boy.

"I don't think anyone should be trying to kill anyone outside of "test perimeters" as you so aptly put it, including your comrades in arms," called out a voice from above them. Standing on a small outcrop of rock several feet above the other shinobi was Kaizen, his wild stark white hair blowing in the wind, a small smile playing on his lips as he looked down at the other chuunin hopefuls. Though he wore a smile on his face, one might be able to see a fire burning in his striking stark white eyes as he looked down, looking specifically at the small boy that had been speaking just a moment before.
Stepping off the edge of the out-cropping, Kai fell to the ground, his two sheathed blades making a metallic noise as the jostling moved them about. Landing between David and Kai's two team-mates, Kanzuki and Yamatano, Kai smiled at David as he said, "Hey there, my name's Kaizen, and while I can't stop you from threatening your comrades, I suggest you be careful with that sharp tongue, lest you aim your wit at the wrong person." All the while Kai kept that same happy grin on his face, while his eyes burned with an inner fire."I live to fulfill the dreams of those that came before me"

Yamatano may have been rather shocked at the sudden increase of spiking chakra, just directly above his head, actually. Tanzu was hunched over as he stared down at David, violet eyes drilling ironic holes back into him. Though instead of a scowl, it was replaced by a maniacal grin. "I hate you~..." he muttered in a sing song voice, rather creepy when you hear it...

Yamatano was peasantly suprised at the arrival of Kaizen. It was good to have an even number of teammates should a fight escalate, especially one that would fight for him without a doubt. However, this also raised Yamatano's guard, and at quite an opportune time. He had suddenly heard a voice say 'I hate you' directly behind him, and Yamatano instinctively turned around, his left arm poised to hit the person in the temple to disable and discombobulate them should a hasty retreat be necessary. It might have been a joke from a water clone that Kaizen made or something, but if it was, then that would just teach Kaizen not to do that.

Kai looked up, his expression a mixture of confusion and unease, to find a manic looking genin directly above them. Falling into a defensive stance, Kai placed his hands on his blades reflexively as he readied himself for whatever it is that this strange new arrival might be trying."I live to fulfill the dreams of those that came before me"

Tanzu just clutched the arm the Hatake was about to throw at him, his smile not too close from his face. "Not too wise, I must admit~..." he sang, ignoring him and the Gobi boy to jump down, nearing David. "I~hate~you!" he shouted, hands drawn back above his head in a hammerfist blow...

He wasn't angry with this boy, and had no reason to be. He really just wanted to know what they had been told, and the girl obviously wasn't forthcoming with that. As he gazed into the boy's eye, listening to his words, he could see more from the eye than words could ever tell. He didn't know exactly what it was, but the boy wasn't telling him everything. And he really couldn't blame him. Information was valuable in this world, and those that held it rarely gave it up willingly. "I see. I can't blame you for not telling me, and she isn't going to either it seems." The boy spoke in reply, never breaking the gaze. He was about to ask one more question and call it over, when others began to arrive. One seemed to dislike how he spoke to the girl, but he really didn't mind nor care about that. He was about to reply to that one, when the other annoyance arrived. The other sand genin seemed to be glaring at him. Perhaps he had been right about angering the boy. "Come back later angry lad, I'm busy." He muttered, knowing very well that his words would only make the boy more angry. He just seemed to have a knack for that. "The rest of you might want to leave now." He added on, glancing at the rest of the people around. If this actually turned into a fight, he didn't need others around. "Tanzu!" Sora hissed, darting in between the two shinobi and grabbing Tanzu's arms. "Snap out of it already, Goddamn it!" She whispered. She already knew she was going to get hurt. If she was lucky, she would get away with a few broken bones, a lot of internal bleeding, and maybe an exploded kidney. Kidneys... she'd have to try and get somebody at the medical center to get her a replacement, should that happen. But the jokes aside, Sora's eyes were literally boring holes in into Tanzu's. But if the boy could even sense that she was there, it would be amazing. After all, even his voice didn't sound the same.

(alright, Kai doesn't even know he's the Gobi host, the only people that do are Luo, Lt, Yamatano, and Kanzuki, please do not meta-game knowledge of tailed-beasts, that's just ridiculous, you don't have to edit your post or anything, but Tanzu doesn't have any clue as to what Kai really is) Kaizen Minoru

Kai moved with unnatural speed for a genin, moving in front of David and grabbing onto the Katana he wore on his right hip. Swinging his arm around with all the strength he could must Kai swung his blade, sheath and all, to collide with the manic child. Moving through the air with both hands above his head, the boy would have to have god-like reflexes to avoid the blow."I live to fulfill the dreams of those that came before me"
