Kesshou looked back as Arell came charging through the door. ''What are you doing up here?'' She was the only one up there.
Crystal looked at the door. ''Man, he just ran outta here like a bat outta hell, musta had to go to the bathroom.''

Arell caught his breath (barely) "I reckon I saw most a' y'all come up heah . . . reckon I shoulda came up m'self." the Son of the Bayou said in his earthy rasp.

Kesshou looked up as the galss on the clock tower got shot out, no noise reached her over the wind but she was watching.. She figured that the two could handel themselves so she didn't leave.
Not long after the wind carried a distict smell of blood and her fur stood on end. ''They've been shot!'' Her masive wings spread and she shiethed herself in a force field made of electricity. With one flap of her wings she took off towards the clock tower.

Crystal stared out the window and sighed, being compleatly oblivious to what was going on.

Arell got downstairs. He knew trouble was coming and almost flew 'til he got back on the same floor as Crystal. "Robin's in trouble, che', we gotta move it!" he said, his Cajun twang cut through the air like his cigarette smoke lingered.

Crystaql looked up. "How do you know that? They haven't radioed in or anything yet." She looked to Babs. "Have they?"

"Jest saw d' cat lady wit' de wings take off fer the clock tower an' said so. I reckon dey ain't got time t' radio!" he said, preparing himself, not bothering to knock the ashes off of his cigarette. His mind was preparing.

Crystal pulled a grappling hook from one of her jacket pockets and held out her hand. "Alright well I'll give you a lift then?" She smiled deviously.

Oracle frantically tried to pull up some video feed, but found none, "The Professor cut all feeds. I'm blind. I dont have any signal."

Crystal held Arell close to her with one arm and shot the grppling hook with her other hand. ''You'll have to hold on to the line and me alright?'' She figured that this would be his first trip with a graple line. once he was secured they took off. ''See ya Babs.''

Oracle heard Robin's message and then looked to Nightshade as if to ask a question.
The old vigilante nodded, "I'll take care of it. Batgirl, stay and guard this young lady."
Oracle replied to Robin, "Hold on. Help's coming."
With that, Nightshade ported first the blood bank and grabbed a couple of pints of type O blood. Then, Des ported over to the top apartment of the clock tower....
