XXXXX"I'll still feel guilt of it but that's just who I am. I worry the most about the ones I love." she replied. She let her body lean against his, feeling for that comfort zone she loved so much. "I understand." Ken said softly, an arm wrapping around her and holding her close. "I don't want you to worry about me, though, alright?" he said softly, stroking her hair softly. "I can take care of myself, and you have bigger things to worry about." he continued in the same soft voice. "The village, and all of that...I'm fine. And I promise that I will never leave you, ever, and will always come back from anything." he whispered.

Ken chuckled. "Give it a few days, and it should be back up. In the meantime, I can whip something up here, if you want." Ken offered. He found it odd that that suddenly hit her, but maybe the stress was starting to wear down and she finally found herself hungry or something.

Ken laughed, kissing her on the tip of the nose. "Nah, it's fine. We've got plenty of food. Come on." he said, standing up and offering her his arm. "I'll make you your favourite..." he offered with a smile.

Ken nodded. "Rice it is." he said, heading around the kitchen to gather what he needed. Within minutes he had the rice cooking. He leaned against the counter and smiled. "You know, you should probably just move in here, with how much you stay here." he teased.
