Kaichan_101 Mnemosyne Moneta Kaichan_101 Name- Anastasia (Ana) Reich Gender- Female Age- 17 Race-Demi-God Hair Color- Dirty Blonde Eye Color- A green-gray color Mortal Parent- Robert Reich- Male Other/Bio- Born in the northern mountains of New York, Ana was always an inquisitive and intellectual child. At the age of three, she was able to read books far beyond the capacity of normal humans. Her father, devestated after being left by his goddess love, was a deranged and violent man. He punished Ana for being overly intellectual, and discouraged her academic success. When she was 7, her father terrorized her and she couldn't take it any more. She lost control of herself and unleashed a psychic blast from her mind. Her father lay there, and she ran away, seeking refuge in the rustic farmland and orchards of the North. Since, she has been nomdadically romed Northern New York, teaching herself advanced subject matter and further increasing her knowledge at libraries. However, she was often shown kindness by a librarian woman with blonde hair and grey eyes. When she left the library, she was attacked by a monster for the first time. She quickly tried to escape, although she was cornered within an instant. Her anger got the better of herself, and she blasted the monster with a psychic blast. Later, she met what she would soon find out to be her protective satyr and that is how she wound up at Camp Half Blood. Weapon(s)- A circlet, which increases the power of her mind blasts, a celestial bronze spear, and a bow. (Psychic blast?)) It's rather a channeling of super-charged brain energy. I said "Psychic" for the lack of a better term. Psyche= mind, ic-pertaining to. (And to adress the other comment) The Percy Jackson series is rather vague about the abilities of Athena... For all you know, she could have attacked with mental energy... And I'm just trying to be original here. :/ I can create whatever character I feel like. If it seems to unrealistic, I would be glad to revise/and or create a new one. ((Indeed, you are being quite original. You are also correct by saying you can create whatever character you want. But Mnemosyne is a moderator, and she doesn't have to allow any character you want. Therefore you can make freaking Chuck Norris, son of GOD HIMSELF, who shoots death rays out of his arm-pits, but it still won't be accept, or allowed to be played with.))

You pretty much completely distorted what I said... I was saying that I will make changes if it is needed. I was not being defiant, saying that I get to decide. I was simply saying that I have the ability to arrange the character in a different fashion if it is necessary. That was a completely unncessary comment....

SK Loda ((It's a mind blast. You can't shoot mind blasts, it is impossible, regardless of parent.)) While I completely disagree with that comment, I still think that telekinesis should be acceptable. Athena, as the goddess of wisdom and reason, is essentially the embodiment of mental prowess and power. I believe that this has the potential to empower ME to have the ability to use telekinetic energy from my mind to be transferred- Due to the circlet... Would it be better if the Circlet transferred the power, rather than me having a god-inherited mind-blast power?

Her father, devestated after being left by his goddess love, was a deranged and violent man. He punished Ana for being overly intellectual, and discouraged her academic success. When she was 7, her father terrorized her and she couldn't take it any more. She lost control of herself and something unnatural happened, she felt a painful pulse in her head and her father was blasted back, there father lay her father dead, so she ran away, seeking refuge in the rustic farmland and orchards of the North. Since, she has been nomdadically romed Northern New York, teaching herself advanced subject matter and further increasing her knowledge at libraries, she later figured out that whenever she moved or attacked something without touching it, her brain capacity went to 100% for 3 seconds. However, she was often shown kindness by a librarian woman with blonde hair and grey eyes. When she left the library, she was attacked by a monster for the first time. She quickly tried to escape, although she was cornered within an instant. Her anger got the better of herself, and the strange thing happened again, she felt a painful pulse in her head and the monster was blasted to sand and she ran away. Later, she met what she would soon find out to be her protective satyr and that is how she wound up at Camp Half Blood. Weapons: A circlet, which amplifies her abbility to get her brain to reach full capacity, a celestial bronze spear, and a bow.
I edited it, you can use this version because it just sounds more.....normal.

As a recent Percy Jackson fan and RPer, I have only had ideas as to what my character should be like. I'm very open to critique- Considering my inexperience- and I am glad- because it can help me develop my character better. I like how you still kept the essence of my character, while making it seem more "normal." If anybody should still have objections to my character, like I said, I can make adjustments.

And as I said before, if anybody should still object to a god-inherited "mind-blast," I think I would/could make it more plausible should the circlet allow me to do it, rather than the mind blast simply being a talent from my mother.

((Brackets for OOC!
Thing is, Athena doesn't necessarily shoot out mind blasts, or has telekinesis. She's to upper class for that. Yet, a circlet would still make it hard for you to get a power that strong. Where did you get it?))

And the circlet would be a gift from my mother. If it seems to powerful, there would still obviously be limitations... It's not as if every five minutes I would be able to enter the "100% brain function," which would enable me to do the psycho-kinetic blast. It would definitely be a strain, and would scarcely be used, unless in dire circumstances.

Age: 17 Gender: female. Appearance: Anya has dark brown hair with dark green eyes. She's tall, about 5'8-5'9ish, and her skin, though not dark or anything, is slightly tanned. Her hair is cut into many layers, ending midway down her back, and her bangs sweep to the side, falling nearly into her eyes at some points. She wears around her neck a blue pendant, in the shape of a tear and strung on a chain of pure silver. Chiron suspects it to contain some magical property, but as of yet it goes undiscovered. Mortal Parent: unknown Skills: she's extremely agile, able to balance well on things. She's very manipulative if she wants something, though doesn't abuse this. She is also a good musician, though that doesn't neccesarily benefit her at Camp Halfblood. Weapon(s)*: Though she's profficient in many (favouring swordplay or bow and arrow), Anya carries on her no more than a single dagger, magically enhanced to be light as an arrow, and to every time hit it's target. Biography: The night Anya was found, the director of the orphanage was up late. She was not a superstitious woman, but that night somether felt wrong. Felt off. Outside, it was miserable. Wind, rain and thunder combined to make one of the worst storms of that year, and the normally bright moon was blanketed by thick clouds. But, and the director denied this in years to come, she stayed up mostly for the feeling that it was right. That there was a purpose to her being there. But her pensive state was interrupted that night by a knock on the door. A footstep. And then it was gone, and in it's leaving lay a baby girl, alone in the night, but for a single blanket as her wrappings. Or that's what the director thought as she hurried to pick her up. Until she actually got her into the light, the note tied to her arm went unnoticed, as did the stone around the baby's neck. 16.5 years later, Anya stood at the old orphanage house, waving goodbye. That had been the place of her childhood where years back the director had plucked her from the step and called her Anya. In her hand she clutched the old note, worn so well with tears, rips and stains. The words were now barely readable, her parent's handwriting just peaking out through the dirt. It was going to be a new day, a new adventure. Two months ago, she had gotten the call. A studio, who had been searching for some sort of child musician had set its eyes upon Anya. She was going to play. She was going to have money. But most of all, she would have a home. After so many years of practissing, she had overcome her dislexia, and was even able to perform at several local theatres. This would be her big job. She stepped into the taxi, dragging luggage behind her. But as she looked at the man driving, something almost seemed wrong. This was not the man described to her over the phone. In fact, she couldn't tell his description at all. He was big, but as she looked over him, her eyes seemed to slide in and out of focus. Who was he? Or, she was out of focus. Before he turned around. And that's when she ran. Not human, Not human! Her mind screamed as she sprinted down the allyway. And the man persued. Fast. Faster even than her. Strange, because she hadn't known anyone to be faster than her when she was running. Yet this man made her look as if she'd been walking. Cornered, at the end of the allyway, she stood, ready to bolt the other way. But she didn't need to. In her mind spoke a voice, a voice so clear and so persuasive that she needed no other word. She looked down at her feet, where lay a silver dagger, laced in the same colour blue as that of her pendant. She picked it up, and it felt right in her hands. With a flick of her wrist, she threw it into the oncomming man. And he disintegrated. The world didn't spin back to normal until two hours later. By that time, a hairy man had come and whisked her away, all the way to a far off camp. Half-blood. Demigod, they called her. And she had absolutely no idea what that meant. Likes: Music, drawing, sunlight, nature, writing, running. Dislikes: Worms, moles...things that live without sunlight. Eeek. Super sweet stuff, taxi cars and needles. picture: http://i31.photobucket.com/albums/c356/high_on_shugar/Anime Girls/girl1-2.jpg

Name: Emmet Darth
Age: 15 years old
Gender: Male
Mortal Parent: Henry Darth
Physical appearance: Emmet has shoulder length sleek black hair. Sometimes he will put it into a ponytail, or he will just let it hang. His bangs are short so he doesn't get hair in his face. Being from Southern California, he has a nice tan. He has a good looking face with a bright smile to go with it. Despite his looks however, people are somewhat afraid of him because of his eyes. They are tinted yellow. To avoid people from being scared of him, he wears sunglasses almost all the time.
Personality: He is not a very outgoing person. He prefers to listen and input information as needed. Though he is by no means afraid to stand up for himself or others, especially ladies. Emmet also has some rather devious characteristics as well. He enjoys causing some trouble. He likes to manipulate people who he doesn't like so much. Causing mischief with those people whenever strategically possible. He is very good at getting people to fight, while staying out of it himself.
Weapon: He uses an enchanted celestial whip known as Tumult. Also if people get close enough, Emmet also carries spiked celestial knuckles.
Talents: A talent of his is manipulation. He is very good at analyzing people; figuring out what makes them tick. To a limited extent, he can push thoughts into people's heads. For example, he can make people distrust their teammates. This ability of his takes time though. The more time he has, the more persuasive his thoughts are.
Bio: Emmet grew up in Southern California with his dad. Being a minor god, monsters were not attached to him. In fact, he never met a monster until his time at Camp Half-Blood. Even though monsters never bothered him, that didn't mean he had no trouble. People were afraid of his eyes. In his youth, he was often picked on. During one of these fights, a young boy helped fight the bullies off. This young boy was a satyr. He told Emmet about Camp Half-Blood. Emmet's dad helped convince him to go. So after school ended for the summer, Emmet and his satyr took a series of trains all the way to New York.

Skills: fast, trained in martial arts, good eyesight and hearing (but her smell isn't that good) (hasn't shown ant magical abilities yet)
