Grab your kneecap and try bending your leg... if you're doing it right its more difficult then normal. Now pretend something was intentionally harming said knee cap not just holding it for demonstrative purposes, much much harder to move.

You can't do much with your leg without bending your knee, but what you CAN do is called "punting". Power comes from a weight shift, and the hips. 3nodding
