ja, but i don't know what it is. gerard said on LOTMS that he thought it up right about the time they finished Revenge.
as far as stages go... i don't know from music, but in film (which i have a little experience in) the editing is the 3rd-to-last step.
how a cd is made:
1.) pre-production (the artists write & arrange their songs)
2.) production (the artists record the songs)
3.) post-production (broken down into parts like so...)
a) arranging, which is done by the producer and the artist... the final decisions are made as to, for example, how many choruses there will be, whether a chorus goes after every verse or every two verses, whether it will fade out or have a very defined ending, etc. b) editing - or actually putting the arrangements together, cutting out accidental guitar taps (it happens when you touch the pickup - it makes a very obvious tapping noise), pfffs on the mic, etc... c) mastering - or smoothing out the edits, so that the song doesn't sound like the moviefone voice and it sounds like it's being played all the way through in one take (a very rare occurrance, especially nowadays - usually they do each section - a verse, a chorus, whatever - until it's the best it can be, and then do the next section. then they cut and paste the best sections together to make the song sound as good as it can)
4.) artwork/photography (for the cd cover and booklet)
5.) release date announced
6.) mass production of record begins
7.) first single released
8.) video for first single made (sometimes this comes after #9 )
9.) record release date arrives and thousand of rabid fangirls storm their local music stores to get a copy.

RoR told me that it is going to be called The Rise and Fall of My Chemical Romance. and the title is worrying. because it makes it seem like this is going to be their last album.

Everyone seems to feelby the title that this'll be their last album... But I don't. How do you get that feeling?
