 Konaga RikoIwagakure| Konaga Clan | Genin|| Taijutsu Specialist || Speed || Tectical ||Eyeing her friend and older brother figure of sorts carefully, Riko watched as he turned to smile at her after his short response. Still looking at him with concern, Riko began chewing on her bottom lip lightly as she found a hard time believing Shinji's answer. 'Is he really okay? He looked like he was really in pain earlier...' Deciding to just give Shinji the benefit of the doubt, Riko stopped nibbling at her bottom lip and instead looked up to face Shinji when he stood up taller, a trait that showed him as the superior within their small group of three.
Listening attentively to his words, Riko mearly nodded in response as her mind still couldn't compeletly wipe away the thought of Shinji still going through pain. 'It must be unbearable to have to suffer after using such abilities...will I be able to handle such pain once I start argumentation training...' Riko suddenly felt her thoat go dry and swallowing some silva, Riko in a way tried to gulp down her fears as well. When Shinji brought up the question of training, Riko couldn't help but freeze again in her spot.
Gaze shifting around the area, Riko took in serval deep breaths to calm herself. Once she found her resolve again, Riko looked up and stared at Shinji straight in the eyes. "Honestly Shinji-san, I have yet to really find any time to train in the arts of genin level doton techniques but that doesn't really matter at the moment. What matters is...I...I want to practise argumentation! This battle made me realize just how many strong shinobi the world holds and if I'm to hold my own against them, I'll need to use everything in my power and that includes argumentations...so...if you could, I would really like to learn from you Shinji-san." Though she could feel her resolve slowly slipping away, Riko kept her gaze forward and her eyes reflected both her determination and fear.

"I'vє гєαlιzєd sσʍєтнιɴɢ..." »Right before Kaze answered, he was distracted by the yelling of a guard shinobi to the pruple.. Guy, thing. Either way, it was weird to see a random guy pop up like that. Sure, it's Iwa, it's made of rock and what not, but... THAT GUY, was weird.
Kaze turned slightly, watching Riko join their group. Shinji posed her a question relating to the Chuunin Exams, as well. Her answer was.. going to be similar to Kaze's, actually. Once she was done, Kaze then spoke up. "Missions.... I think I've done enough to enter the exams, actually. What I really need to work on is jutsu, like Riko here. Except... I don't think I can learn those augmentations or whatever you guys are talking about." Kaze chuckled after saying that. He figured it was the clan thing. "Anyway, training is what I really need at the moment."

 Konaga Shinji| Konaga Clan | Speed/Offensive Type | Iwagakure | Chuunin ||| Shinobi Profession: Teaching Master || RPC Profile || Shinji smiled a bit as Riko spoke about needing to become stronger if she was going to be a part of the ninja world. It was the conclusion his father had brought him to long ago and the reason why he embarked on his trip. Augmentations had come naturally to him, but then again, his father had been the Clan head and had taught him from a young age. Now, it was Shinji's turn. Placing his hand on Riko's shoulder, hoping that it would calm her down, as she was still clearly nervous, he nodded his head in agreement with her and smiled once more.
"Don't worry Riko, we will get through it together. A Konaga's is a life of pain and every obstacle is simply developing a way to live through it. You have come this far in life... I know you can continue on." Then turning to Kaze he nodded in acknowledgment to him as well and addressed his need. "Very well, if that is what you need, I can surely provide that... to both of you. I can train you both in Doton and Katon... as well as train Riko to utilize her augmentations. What do you say? So long as Riko had finished all of her prerequisite missions as well... we can spend the remainder of our time before the exams training in ninjutsu to make sure that you both pass with flying colors."
"Sound like a plan?"

Konaga RikoIwagakure| Konaga Clan | Genin|| Taijutsu Specialist || Speed || Tectical ||Smiling slightly when Shinji placed a comforting hand on her shoulder, Riko felt a bit more confindent knowing that she had someone like Shinji to help and support her through her training. 'I can do this. I need to do this.' At his suggestion, Riko took a moment to think back on the previous assist missions she did and not really sure as to how stuff are calculated, she assumed that she made the mark. "That sounds great Shinji-san, as for missions, I've completed one D rank and one E rank though I'm not sure if that's enough or not."
{Crappy post - have to leave for work in a bit. Feel free to auto move Riko if you guys decide to go somewhere else for training.}

Having left Shinji behind, Deidalus searched for the Tsuchikage. Maneuvering around the wreckage of a building, he caught site of her but was suddenly wracked by a cough. Covering his mouth with the back of his left hand, he looked around to make sure no one had seen him cough. As his coughing settled down, and satisfied that no one had seen him, he checked the back of his hand. Blood? One of my ribs must be chipped and bone fragments must have entered my lungs. Crap! I hate hospitals. he mused to himself as he wiped the back of his hand on the inside of his trench coat sleeve.
Approaching the Tsuchikage, Deidalus spoke in low tones, "Tsuchikage-sama, I will have a full-detailed report on this incident in your office in a few days. We were lucky that none of the Genin were injured in this attack. I took a light beating, as loathe as I am to admit it, so If there is nothing else, I will go check myself into the hospital to make sure that I am fit for duty." After waiting for her reply, Deidalus took off running towards the hospital.

The talk about augmentations interests me...' After having that thought, Kaze stretched, and looked around. Other ninja would have to handle the damage at the moment. I sure they would understand that he wouldn't be able to stay to help. He had a Chuunin Exam to train for.
"So, Shinji...", Kaze felt no need to add on honorifics,"..where shall we go to train? The Training Grounds, right?"

Konaga Shinji| Konaga Clan | Speed/Offensive Type | Iwagakure | Chuunin ||| Shinobi Profession: Teaching Master || RPC Profile || Having received a positive response from both of his students, Shinji nodded in response to each of their comments. "I'm sure that'll be fine Riko. I think the exams are being run a bit differently this time around anyway. Let's get both of you up to speed with your ninjutsu so you'll be ready to crush the exams. I was the only participant from Iwagakure last year and it was sad that our great village was not more prevalent within it."
Looking around the field, Shinji could already see the well-oiled machine of the village working. Repair crews were beginning to assess the damage as carpenters and masons were being brought out to gather supplies and prepare them. Deidalus had left and the Tsuchikage seemed to be running things from here. Shinji felt the need to help, but the Genin were his responsibility now and it was his job to make sure they were prepared for the exams just as he was. Turning back to his students he gave them both a quick nod and was ready to start their training... "Alright good. We're all on board here. We'll have to leave the gates in the Tsuchikage's suitable hands. The training grounds call to us! Try to keep up you two!"
And with those words, Shinji broke out in a full run, rushing back across the field where they had all come from at his full speed. Leaping up to the top of the building they had all jumped down from originally, Shinji continued on into the village towards the training grounds running as fast as he could, which was considerably faster then even those of an equal rank to his own. He knew that Riko and Kaze would likely have no chance of keeping up with his speed, but he did it anyway to force them into an adrenaline rush and prepare them for their training.

Yukio walked to the gates, kicking a piece of rubble around as he did so, taking in all of the destruction. " Whoa... This is pretty amazing... I wonder what did all of this? " he said, seeing scorch marks on the ground in several places. " Volcano? no... Katon user? No... Thunder? That's impossible, we're in a canyon... " he said, touching the gates and turning around, rearing his leg back, but instead of using his own foot to kick the piece of rubble, he used his iron sand to pick it up, spin it once, and launch it in the direction of the academy. He then took off after it, making sure it didn't hit anyone or it didn't break anything.

Konaga RikoIwagakure| Konaga Clan | Genin|| Taijutsu Specialist || Speed || Tectical ||Smiling a bit lighter now, Riko nodded her head glad to know that the two missions she completed during the earthquake crisis will be enough for her to make it to the Chuunin exams. As Shinji began glancing around at the gates, Riko did the same and was glad to see the village already hard at work to repair everything. Before Riko even had time to turn her head, Shinji was already racing off at full speed. 'Hmph, Shinji-san definiately knows that we can't catch up to him and yet he still charges forward head on...well at least it shows that he's fine now.' Releasing a sigh, Riko pushed off the balls of her feet and began dashing after her mentor as quickly as she could. If she couldn't catch up to Shinji, she was definately going to do her best and beat Kaze there. Glancing backwards, Riko sent Kaze a challenging smirk. "Better hurry up Kaze-san or I'm going to beat you there." Done with her mini challenge, Riko returned her gaze forward and tried to put more distance between her steps. She was going to win alright, afterall, Riko hated to lose.

"I'vє гєαlιzєd sσʍєтнιɴɢ..." »"Keep up? But he's going so fast, eh, Ri--" Kaze stopped in the middle of his sentence as he receive, from what it looked like, a challenge from Riko. A race to get to the training grounds, but she had already taken off, and at an incredible pace. "Hey! No fair, I wasn't ready!" Kaze explained, running towards the training grounds, and Riko, and Shinji.
Kaze ran until he was able to actually jump onto the roof of a building, and leaped from building to building thereafter. Inevitably, he would most likely reach the training grounds after Riko and Shinji. They were much faster than Kaze, after all.

"Silence is key to a perfectly timed attack..." XXXXXX In silence, Gage stood, with his hands buried deep inside of his hoodie’s pockets, in a tree not far away from the Gates and watched his fellow ninja end the threat that could of plagued his village. In silence, Gage wondered why he didn’t move to help his fellow ninja; his FRIENDS. He had been watching everything that had happened from a set distance for the past few months and yet he felt no need to move in and take part. He couldn’t tell whether he was feeling left out or if he was seeing things in a different light. He wasn’t sure of anything anymore. He had time to think about it and he knew if he didn’t act now he would end up rouge. XXX ‘Better late then never..’ he thought as he jumped out of the tree and landed silently on the ground directly below the tree. ‘If I don’t do this now I may not have another chance…’ He thought as he remembered all the good times he had with Shinji and Kai. Gage removed his left hand from his pocket and reached up to his head and removed his hood. As he did this his dirty blonde hair fell and covered his left eye. He brought his hand back down and slid it into his pocket. ‘Hmm… I wonder if anyone will recognize me…’ He thought as he stood their. He had realized that his scar, which he thought was a birth mark, had disappeared, his hair was a lot longer and he was wearing different clothes, but he still had to return to active duty before he killed himself with all of the mind games. ‘Ah, well let’s just get this over with…’ He thought as he began walking slowly towards the Tsuchikage Office. He was going to return to active duty, he was going to resume training, he was going to finally create a name for himself. It was decided…[Exit - Kage's Office]

The fight was over. In the end, the two warriors who dared to attack her beloved village escaped but not without injury. Looking around at the damaged area, Kiyoko felt sad, angry, and disgusted at the same time. The loss of life was minimized but still she had lost several ninja to those arrogant nuke-nin.She was upset that they had escaped her wrath and she was furious that she had been reduced to fighting a clone. Her mind was not drifting off in the what-ifs but was focused on the present. Her first priority was the safety of her ninja. As she surveyed the area, she noticed Shinji making sure the Genin were safe.
"Tsuchikage-sama, I will have a full-detailed report on this incident in your office in a few days. We were lucky that none of the Genin were injured in this attack. I took a light beating, as loathe as I am to admit it, so If there is nothing else, I will go check myself into the hospital to make sure that I am fit for duty." She listened as Deidalus spoke to her before replying. "Go, I expect that report within the next few days. When you are fully healed, assist Kai and Shinji with training the Genin. They need to be prepared in case another event such as this occurs." As Deidalus left, a brooding mood descending upon Kiyoko. As she walked, a sparkiling crystal appeared in her peripherals. Bending down, she picked it up and examined it. The crystal appeared to be clear, but in it sparked lightning. Pocketing it, she set out for her office, a half of a plan brewing in her mind.

The Genin waiting on Death Spank will begin to notice he is running almost thirty minutes late. Gabreil will be seen far down the street on his way to the Gates but Death Spank will be no were in sight.
