Noise punched Joseph's shoulder playfully, "many times eh? how many is many, I think I've killed thirty one, no thirty two, that poor cat was an accident." She was finding it rather hard to stop asking questions about Joseph, things kept popping up, things she wanted to know, things she wanted him to tell her.

Joseph smiled. "Not that many - and they were all human. Maybe... twelve? Fifteen, maybe?" The odd thing was, he wanted to talk. She seemed to care if they were innocent or not, as much as he could gather from context and such. But of course, it could easily all be a lie. Something told him, however, that she wasn't lying. So he decided he would talk.

Noise turned up to the castle, "I s'pose I had better get my usual clothes back, c'mon," she flicked her hair back, she would need a bath as well but that could wait. "So Joseph, you got parents, I doubt you do but it's nice to know, I never really had anyone, grew up in a dungeon getting prodded on set on fire."

"I... have parents - they're fine. I just don't tell them about my hobby. Where the hell did you grow up?!" Yeah, something like that was definately a dirty secret in the government and something he would need to look into. And the chances of someone telling that kind of lie was slim... She was really being honest with him! It would be nice to have a partner for once - although he would still have to be the one to deliver punishment.

Noise stopped again, "what's it like? having parents? I wish I could have had some, I don't even know If I was born, I could have been made just whooshed into existence by some malevolent mage." She punched the ground as hard as she could, "I just wish they would have told me something, I'm nothing more than A glorified tool too them, and that wouldn't bother me if they would just tell me the truth!"

"Having parents is like having people who do what they can to control your life - but only if you give them reason to believe you are not doing exactly what they want." Joseph answered. There were a lot of good things about having parents, too, but he figured now wasn't the time to mention them. Besides, what he just said is what he has to do most of the time, anyway, so... "And don't worry." He continued. "We'll find out exactly where you came from. And anything else you want to know. The question is before or after I take down Althea. She's not a huge threat - there's not really anything to find here, so..."
((I will be gone on v/k for the weekend. I may check back if there is enternet, but there may not be, so... yeah. ^_^ ))

Noise sighed and started to walk again, her anger still evident in her voice and posture, "finding out anything about my past is probably impossible by now. Y'see I wasn't the only little project, a few of them were a little angry, swore revenge and ran away, most of the people who worked down there are dead already." She unclenched her fists as she started to calm down "many of them were my targets, I knew some of them well, even if it was a few words through a wall." Then it struck her, Joseph was being nice to her, overly nice, the offer to help her was a rather large commitment and he just strolled into it, why?

 Rose dipped her head as she was noticed by the king. "You have a visitor when your done here. Its very important." She wouldn't tell the king anything more with Jeremy there. She didn't trust the guy at all but she had made her expression as neutral as she possibly could.

"They're dead already??" Joseph looked flabbergasted. "No way!" He calmed down almost instantly as he continued, "Well, I'm sure there are some left, right? Not everyone can be dead. Besides, just finding information to let out into the open is a good thing. If we do, people will know and they will be less likely to do something like this again - you know they will if given the chance!" He looked her in the eyes with a dead serious gaze.

"I don't think you understand what we are capable of," Noise' eyes quivered as they looked into Joseph's "when you give people the kind of power others dream of... you tend to think of yourself as a god." She looked away, "And when you think your a god, you try and destroy those who have a hold on you, not all were obedient." To prove a point she showed Joseph some old memories, "this might be a bit awkward," she flashed him a sad smile as the area they were standing in dissolved, they found themselves in a meadow, mid afternoon.

"Woah." Joseph looked around. "You really aren't normal, are you? What is this?" He gazed at the feild around him, looking for any sign of what may be about to happen next.

Noise walked forward till she came to the crest of a hill, she looked down on the three people standing below. "This was just after I was let out," she pointed at one that was clearly herself, she had longer hair back then, but seemed sadder. "The other two were my friends once, but they were enemies now," the other two were about thirteen years old, one boy and one girl, both wearing green coats.
"Think about it Luka!" the girl yelled taking a step forward, "you can't be their pet! it's not right! we fought to get out of there and you just stay!"

Krazy Michelle Ranak Rose nodded with a slight smile before hurrying back to Meru. She stopped right in front of him with a rather big smile. "The king will see you now!" She took a deep breath, remembering that Jeremy was still there and she wanted to him to be gone before she brought Meru to the king. She would take Meru the long way to the king then. "The king is almost done with a conversation so we'll take the long way around. So you can tour the castle." She grinned as she led him down a hall to the right. The long way around would take them past the kitchens and then outside where they would have to walk through most of the gardens to get to where the king was. It would give the king plenty of time to get rid of Jeremy before they got there.
