Zackariah turned around in his seat and looked at Claire. "Excuse me, but what are you doing here, is there something we can help you with ma'am?" Zack asked, not knowing who this girl was and why she seemed so familiar.
"Lucky thing he doesn't know what Setsuna looks like." Raine said and leaned against a wall waiting for Claire to finish her "talk" with Zack. Ultima are you there, can you answer me? Raine thought and suddenly got sucked through the wall. He awoke in chamber with a giant crystal in it surrounded by other small crystals. "Ultima?" Raine asked, suddenly something beckoned him closer to the crystal. Raine touched it and suddenly images came into his mind, telling him a story of how he was trapped inside the crystal and the only way to free him was to defeat him and shatter the crystal, which would also return the world to normal. After that Raine was sent back to Luca wide-eyed.

Clair did not know what to say to this guy. He barely reconised the guy himself a few moments ago, only briefly meeting him when he saved his a** from some thugs. A few days later he had to leave to take up a new job so he did not really had time to make friends with him.
"have you ever known a guy named Raine? He asked me to go over you and talk to you about something." Clair lied.

"Yeah I do, what did he want to talk about?" Zack asked, standing up. He wondered if Raine was in Luca and if he heard his statement from when the game ended.
"Guys, I know what we have to do to get everything back to normal, we have to go out into the country and find folds in space that will take us to chambers with these giant crystal things, we beat the thing guarding them and the universe will go back to normal." Raine said, not really wanting to put the smack-down on Ultima.

( no where did i say that Clair was good at on the spot lying.)
Clair was thinking real fast of what to say to this guy. Honestly She did not think she would get this far. She rembered that he metioned some girl named tara. Now the last parts of her adventure were for some reason very fuzzy, for example if you asked her details about the big epic final fight with seymoar she really could not tell you much. But one thing she barely rembered was that Raine started hanging out with some girl named tara.
"He heard your speech and is not very happy that you claimed this "tara" girl as your fiance. Before these reliety changes she was apperlty one month pregnant with Raine's child and they were going to get married two months from now. " Clair said as she tried to make up a lie on the spot.

Zack was shocked and appalled. "Oh my God really, well I'm sorry you'll have to bring him here so I can formally apologize to him. And after that I should say a few things to him about this as well." Zack said sincerely, he didn't understand it, but it must be true, Tara had been acting moody as of late.
Tara was sitting in the cave huddling around the fire while Vincent looked for food and suddenly got the feeling someone was saying something totally false about her. It had better not be Robert, or Raine, if it's either of them I'll kill whichever one said it. Tara thought grumpily, she really didn't like the thought of an arranged marriage.
"And now all we have to do is find a way to prepare for that, I was thinking of ditching Luca and heading to one of the Ivalice towns." Raine said and leaned against the wall

(wow I did not expect that to work.)
Clair was very surprised inside that she actually successfully lied. Maybe that red mage she drinks with sometimes is not entirely crazy with his whole universe is d26 game theory since the only way he could have lied with his low skills would have been a perfect 20.
"Okay then I'll go get him and see if he is willing to talk. I can not make any promises though since he is feeling a bit irritable at the moment" Clair said.
Clair then opened a portal and went back to raine's location.
"Hey Raine I just talked to Zack and he is willing to break the engagement to Tara. See I can be useful at diplomacy." Clair said

"Uh, I know I'm going to regret asking, but what exactly did you tell him?" Raine asked, knowing he wasn't going to like what he heard, and the problem was that Zackariah was extremely gullible too.
Vincent came back with food and he and Tara began eating. "Somehow, the people think I kidnapped you." Vincent said with a sigh and Tara looked at him weird. "I know, it seems stupid to me too." Vincent said and the two ate without another word.

Clair gave a little nervous laugh when raine asked that question.
"Well you see I uh told her you impregnate Tara and was going to marry her two months from now. I am honesty surprised myself that worked." Clair said sheepishly.

"If you weren't a woman I'd punch you Robert." Raine said and slapped his forehead. Now he'd have to go set Zack straight and try and convince him to change the world back, probably being declared enemy of the state in the process. "You better take me to him so I can straighten this out." Raine said with a sigh.
"It's not surprising, if someone told Zack a lie he'd believe, that kid is just to trusting, he'd betray the human race for a quarter with the right lie." Master Chief explained, he had seen it himself many times.

Clair looked at Raine like he was crazy. He did not want him to tell the truth the first lie that actually succeeded.
" Your saying your going to tell the truth? Why not just go along with this lie? I mean Tara certainly would be happy no longer being forced into this relationship right?" Clair asked

"Dude I know her better than you do, if she knew we said she was pregnant, even to get her out of a bad situation she'd kill us, trust me, it's better that I say you were misinformed and that we ask him to change the world back." Raine said, hoping to dear God he wasn't going to face a painful death from Tara in the future.
