Alex walked up the steps to the tower. She slowly opened the door and quietly closed it behind her. She snuck up the steps and stopped just enough so that only the top of her head could be seen. She saw Jack and Sally talking and quickly took a few steps back. Zero, smelling her sent, flew down the steps. His nose started to glow and he barked happily.
"Shh." Alex whispered, trying to hush the ghost dog.
