"Fathom you will be the new Deputy of Nightclan.Starclanhonors your intellegience and quick thinking."Ravenstar yowled.
"Leopardpaw,Treepaw,Blackflame,Nightclaw,Fathom,Moonflower,and Nightpaw will come."Ravenstar added.She gathered her new Clan,with a flick of her tail,Rvenstar bounded away toward the Gathering place,Nightclan cats following close behind.

No Matter how far I run,NightPaw paced restlessly around camp, she knew she couldn't avoid bothering someone who padded past, so she walked to the fresh-kill pile and picked up a plump peice to eat and keep her mind off of things.She sat and started gulping it down.I can't outrun my Fate....

NightPaw heard something about her going to the gathering and stood up confused.How come I am going when I don't even have a mentor? she thought to herself as she walked with the rest to the gathering.

 [Fathom licked one of the kits on the ground. It mewled.
He felt such love for it.
Suddenly, it froze. It stared at him, despite the fact that its eyes were sealed close (as all kits were at birth), and pressed against its mother, far away from Fathom. It shook with fear.
He felt anguished.
Why does everything fear me? Why?
Before he could do anything, he heard Ravenstar's call. Shocked, he felt the world spinning.
Deputy?
But how?
It seemed that Ravenstar trusted him enough to make him deputy. He felt honored. Perhaps it was because he and Leapordpaw had found the cure?
He nodded, eager to go to the gathering. He batted Leapordpaw's ears playfully, then bounded out for the gathering.]

[Nightclaw nodded, suddenly reverting back to his old self. He padded out of camp, following Ravestar and the others.]

[The little white kit stirred in her sleep. She was hungry. The kit searched around and found she was the only cat in the nursery. She opened her blue eyes. There was a scent trail leading outside of the camp. She walked out of the nursery and followed the scent trail into the forest. She walked until the scent was very strong. She crouched down. This was where her mother tried to kill her! She ran across the NightClan-SeaClan border quickly.]

 Lavenderrain
[She opened her eyes drowsily, it felt as if her head was spinning.]
Where is everyone?
[Looking to the sky, she noticed a full moon..]
I see, they've already gone..
[Looking down at her two kits, she noticed that the she-cat was tucked very tightly to her belly.]
Now why's that? she wondered.
[An image flickered to her mind.
Fathom was licking it.. how the little kit, eyes not even open, had feared him.]
[Her eyes slitted, as she pondered the tom cat.
Shaking away the thoughts, she carefully examined her two kits.]
[The she-cat looked so much like her father it made Lavenderrain's eyes go all shiny.]
[The tom was a dark grey, but in the dim moonlight his fur shone midnight blue.]
Names.. she thought, as she waited for her clanmates to return.]

Lavenderrain
[Lavenderrain jumped awake startling her kits.]
"Hush hush little ones." she whispered.
[The kits obeyed, and fell back into a comfortable sleep.
But Lavenderrain couldn't, not when she knew something had deliberately awakened her.]
[Darkness clouded her eyes.]
I can't smell, touch, see, or hear! she thought desperately.
[But she realized that one sense was still there.]
Feel.. I'm feeling..
[She felt a wave of loss and despair. And also choking sadness.
Then suddenly all her senses came back in a jolt. It was dizzying.]
[As she looked in the sky, the stars were shining brightly.]
"Oh no..." she whispered.
[Realization dawned on her, it all made sense now...
Tears rolled down her cheeks, as she watched Starclan welcoming a new warrior...]

[After watching the stars for awhile, Lavenderrain's paws ached to be racing along in the woods...
The smell of pine, the familiar squelch of the marshes..]
[Then she found that she was padding along in the lush green of Starclan, when a crack of thunder sounded.
Lavenderrain nearly collasped with fright. And she was plunged into darkness.
Without the flashes from the lightning she wasn't able to see.]
She jumped when her mate suddenly appeared in front of her.]
"Don't forget." he whispered...
[Her eyes snapped open.. What am I forgetting? Storm clouds, lightning ...? THE SHINING KIT! she realized feeling stupid.]
[She needed to go .. now. It was her chance.. Everyone was asleep..]
[She scanned the clearing and spotted Fernholly barely visible, guarding the camp.]
"Please watch over my kits! I'll be back way before they wake up." she whispered urgently as she padded over.
[She led Fernholly to her mossy area, where she could guard the camp and her kits.
Then disappeared into the night.]

Lavenderrain
[Lavenderrain padded back from the border as the far side of the sky was beginning to lighten.]
[Fernholly was still watching camp from the mossy bed, and seeing that Lavenderrain was returning she felt that it was safe to leave the kits.]
[Lavenderrain padded up to the mossy nest and settled comfortably.]
[Tail sweeping her kits close to her, she closed her eyes and fell into the land of dreams..]
(( Hey guys! I need help with naming my kits. The tom is dark grey that shines midnight blue in the sunlight. And the she-cat is dark brown with light brown and white spots on her back and creeping up her tail. Any suggestions? ))

[Fathom shook himself, glancing around the clearing. He sat down and stared up into the sky.]
"I wonder where Leapordpaw is," he muttered to himself.
[Instead of looking for her, though, he stared into the sky as if the stars would reveal the answers.]
