LucyThe older Pokemon remained still for a little bit after Jack knelt down by her. "I... M-My..." Lucy whimpered softly before she just broke down. She threw her arms around Jack and buried her face in his fuzzy chest, letting out choked sobs of agony. She felt Jack was the only one who could understand what she was going through right now, he'd gone through the same.

Jack, not up to date on guild events as he should have been in his position of power, had no clue in hell what was going on at the moment when he suddenly had a wailing Weavile attached to his shoulders. Nearly falling back from her teary embrace, it took a moment for him to respond and comprehend things fully. "It's okay...What happened? Are you hurt?" He asked the most obvious questions first, a fluffed paw of his ended up on the back of her head in a parental and understanding fashion. Something was definitely wrong.

LucyLucy had to let out a few more choked sobs before she could speak. She'd been holding in her tears for a little while, she had to let it all out. "M-M-My Isis... Sh-She's d-dead..." The answer came between sniffles and whimpers as she tried to speak clearly. Her blue eyes were already stained red as tears streamed down her face, dampening Jack's fur as well.

Jack could feel his own heart being destroyed gradually as Lucy's already choking words came to him ever more slowly, elongating the pain felt on his own end. He heard plenty of Isis and all the wonderful past they shared together; it seemed all Lucy ever wanted was her to come home and now that would never happen. The Lopunny wished he could say to her how much he truly related but he feared his words would come out as mocking since he has been putting on the facade of at least the slightest bit of sanity since Kage. Truly he was a wreak on the inside but he managed to pull it together for the sake of everyone else around him and in fact he was just on his way to aid himself to that point when he was brought into this predicament. "Anything you need...I'm here for you." Sounded like a good, reassuring choice of words for now until she calmed down a bit.

LucyThe distraught Weavile sniffled and coughed a bit to the side. She rest her temple on Jack's chest, closing her eyes as no more tears could seem to flow. "Th-Thank you, Jack..." She purred softly. Lucy held the Lopunny close, feeling a bit of a kinship with him because of their similar predicaments. "You're a great friend..."

"It's no big deal, r-really." The Lopunny spoke and proceeded to back away from Lucy and return to his original standing position; brushing out the dirt that collected on his fur and stood out annoyingly. His stuttering voice shown signs of chilling night air and he thought it best to mention this fact; the idea not clicking with him though that the Weavile before him was in fact an Ice type and this probably didn't bother her all that much. "You shouldn't be out here in the cold like this... That one pub is pretty close from here I think; I know I can use a bit of warming up. If you want to join me we can talk about this more."

LucyLucy shivered a little, but not from the cold. Sniffling, she nodded a little and linked her claws shyly behind her back. "O-Okay..."[/color The Weavile said lightly, walking over to Jack. Feeling a need for comfort, she leaned gently against the Lopunny's soft body.

Comfortingly the Lopunny wrapped an arm around Lucy who still seemed to be in need of some consoling as the two walked for their new destination. Hopefully this time he was at least leading in the right direction.

-Timeskip-
With a huff of both exhaustion and annoyance, a certain Luxio pressed on in his prowling hunt. Nose practically buried in the ground he was on a mission that he refused to give up. Having already stopped at the Tower of Rebirth to get a scent off of the scene of the crime without being noticed by anyone in attendance there, all he was able to determine was that the particular Pokemon he was looking for was definitely rodent. Now on the slightest bit of a trail in this cat and mouse game, he was truly challenged to the end of his rope in this hunt. Every so often the scent would break and he'd have to start all over or it would be so faint that he had to concentrate on nothing else but it to keep going. Soon enough, just when he thought he was getting somewhere, his head hit something very hard. Having not bothered to pick up his glance until this point, the Luxio found himself face-to-face with a cliff-side. He looked around with utter confusion, not able to comprehend how his target could possibly just dissipate into the shadows. This wasn't fair at all; he was a complete failure. Wyatt was nearly at the point of breaking down where he was and crying until he perished.

???Less than a second after his nose touched the surface of the cliff, a shadowed pair of paws lashed out, her fingers fixing firmly around his windpipe. A pair of glowing, crimson eyes seemed to appear out of the shadows, and the Lopunny materialized before the Luxio. "Why have you come, little sinner?" She hissed dangerously, narrowing her eyes. Her pride and joy; her glorious and deadly sword, was missing from it's favored spot upon her back. This, among other things, only added to her mood. "Tracking the queen of death and shadows is not a safe game to play~" She loosened her grip ever so slightly, so that the Luxio could breathe to speak, but she never fully released him, wary of his intentions.

Wyatt would have let out a yelp at first if air was permitted acess into his throat; but alas that was not the case. Despite the fact that he was being nearly choked to death, his eyes looked up into the Lopunny's before him with nothing less than sheer adoration and worship like he just met God. Once he was permitted to speak, even though not out of harm's way just yet, he didn't hesitate to take advantage of the moment. "My queen." He repeted the title she gave herself. "I've only come here to serve you. Even though I may be a sinner I wish to show my worth." He spoke with sincere certainty. Though he didn't exactly like referring to himself as a sinner, if that's what she thought of him as then he simply had a name to redeem and quick.

???The Lopunny hesitated for a moment, obviously cautious, and slightly intrigued. "How can I be assured of your trust?" She demanded to know, her long ears twitching slightly as the young lion's hot breath fanned across her fur. "I am not a forgiving soul." She added threateningly, baring her sharp little teeth.

"Please, if you would, put me through any sort of test. The choice is yours. Anything to prove my loyalty." The Luxio's head would have drooped if it could but the way he was being held prevented him from showing his true submission to her in that way. He was slowly becoming more and more light-headed as the moments rolled on in the predicament he was held up in. Unsure how much longer he would last a pleeding tone was apparent in his voice.

???The Lopunny seemed to consider his offer, and she released his throat, her own, short claws magically extending to form shadowy talon that could easily slice through bone. One could not be too careful. "Water. I need to locate a secluded water-source if I'm to remain in this area for long." She elaborated. "They say that your species have sharp sight, and fair senses. You'll be well-equipped to finding me what I desire." She stepped back, her crimson eyes still narrow with suspicion. Little did the young lion know; he would not be alone in his search. She didn't trust him. If he was acting suspiciously, or venturing off to get help, he would find himself dead before he could blink. She had no patience for liars and traitors.

Wyatt felt honored to be recognized for his skills, even though they had almost failed him on his way here. He was determined to prove himself useful and by the Lopunny's look he knew that if he was not it meant his life. This was a risk he was undoubtedly willing to take though. "Whatever you wish." He noted as he was dropped to the ground, gasping for air a bit and hacking up a storm before he was able to walk once more. Head down now with both reference and searching for his new target. He knew of some Hot Springs in the area but they wouldn't exactly provide drinking water; it seemed best though to at least head in that direction where the area became more lush compared to the barren plains. He lead on with keen cautiousness of his surroundings; knowing it wouldn't turn out well if they were caught by anyone related to the guilds in some way. "If we keep heading in this direction it shouldn't be a very long walk." He estimated. Assuming by the time they reached their destination they would still be on the edge of the plains which must have held her hideout. It was a decent trek to go through just for a drink but if it needed to be done there was no helping it. "I don't wish to anger you like this, but may I ask your name? Or at least a title you would prefer me to call you?" The Luxio hesitated a bit on his words, fearful of the Lopunny's reaction to come. He had to break the awkward silence somehow though as they treked on.
