Mandarin

Rin clutched tightly at Raven's fur, her tiny, rather water-logged body shaking like a leaf in the wind.
Suddenly, her head turned sharply to look back with wide eyes. "RAVEN!" She screamed in alarm, as a Blaze Kick sent both Pokemon tumbling into the dust.
Tristen smirked triumphantly, and leaped toward Rin with a Fire Punch prepared; an inferno of fire twisting around his fist.
"C'mon, Blue, let's get a taste of this action." The Gallade muttered coolly, stepping toward the fallen Lucario. The Hitmonlee let out a short burst of psychotic laughter and followed, eager to join the fight.
Rin screamed, rolling sharply sideways to avoid Tristen's punch, her delicate fingers scrambling to grab a hold on something as Tristen grabbed her leg.

Raven held on to his cargo tight even as they were toppled over, making sure her fragile body got absolutely none of the initial blow upon impact with the ground. There was most likely an area of fur on his back singed to black by this point but, none-the-less- it didn't take him long to recover and fight back. Seeing Rin in danger as she was at the moment, on the ground and defenseless, sent him into a feral state which left him oblivious to the other two combatants. For the moment all he wanted was Tristan down and he was about to do exactly that. Ducking his head down, the Lucario charged at his prey, reaching ridiculous speeds before his horizontal body collided with a perfect tackle to the Fire type's abdomen; thus leaving himself in a position where nor punches or kicks from the enemy were going to do much damage. From that point of impact he just continued running, unable to control himself as the enemy almost got air up over his shoulders before finally coming to rest slammed against a nearby tree. Raven finally backing off by that point and readying for more hand-to-hand combat.

Rin scrambled hurriedly from harms way, ducking to the side as Rave and Tristen fought. She spotted the other two heading toward her, and she snapped her fingers, Teleporting to safety with a sharp crack.
They whirled around in astonishment as she reappeared on the top of a large boulder in the center of the springs.
Without a word, she flung a Magical Leaf flying at both Fighting types, the multi-coloured leaves slicing at their skin, before Teleporting to another boulder to evade their attacks.

Tristen snarled in fury, breathing a Flamethrower at the Lucario to force him to keep his distance long enough to regain his balance.
Then, after deciding on a plan of action, he leaped forward, swinging his fists at the canine's face.
His Mega Punch would break bone if it hit, and he wanted the Lucario out for the count as swiftly as possible.

Raven reluctantly distanced himself more so to avoid a close contact Flamethrower. He barely having time to react before a plethora of well aimed punches were being thrown at his upper body; he noted their sheer power and fortunately had a way to block them all before he was decapitated by one. As each punch was thrown his open paw met it with extreme precision; every last one never even touching his skin, a blast of aura from his palms deflecting it before damage could be caused. In the little time he actually had a chance he constantly found himself sensing for Rin's aura in the area and making sure she wasn't in danger. Though he was in a life-threatening situation himself, she undoubtedly took priority for the moment and at any sign of danger he was at her side need be. After the last fist was flung at him, an opening was sought out and utilized, the Lucario once again focusing on injuring one area as a Force Palm drove directly into the enemy's close ranged torso. Wisps of dark blue aura that practically looked like flamed rolled off of the feathers of the body that he sent flying back a few feet with his powered attack.

Mandarin

Rin flinched back as the Gallade Teleported an inch in front of her. She Teleported off, but he followed in the blink of an eye.
His hand grabbed her wrist as she Teleported again, and both Psychic-types landed in the center of the springs with a loud crash
"LET GO!" Mandarin screeched.
"Why so hasty?" He muttered coldly, pinning her to a boulder.
Panic and fury surged through Rin's mind, and rush of adrenaline gave her an extra boost of strength. "I SAID LET GO!" She screamed right in his ear, causing the Gallade to flinch back. Taking advantage of the sudden distance, she swung a Psychic-enforced punch into his face, causing him to stumble back.
She flung a Confusion into his gut, the strange, ripple waves of aura hitting him hard.
The Gallade dropped like a stone, and the Hitmonlee on the far bank staggered back in shock, looking rather angry as Mandarin shot him a death glare that would send most Pokemon running for their mothers.

Tristen hit the ground and rolled, his eyes dark with fury. The flames around his wrists flared out, and he ducked sideways, rolling swiftly around Raven, only to leap to his feet, and grab Raven's neck from behind, fire flaring up and scorching his thick, dark fur.
"You thought you could take my girl and get away with it...? She's mine, you hear?! MINE!" He snarled at the Lucario, spitting in his face as he slammed him into the ground by the neck.

"RAVEN!" Mandarin screamed, struggling against the Gallade and Hitmonlee that had managed to pin her down onto her back in the sand.
The Hitmonlee covered her mouth, trying to silence her long enough for Tristen to finish off his opponent.

Raven hit the ground hard, singe marks in the perfect shape of a claw adorning the back of his neck as he barely managed to recover from the dirt. Truly if it wasn't for Rin's cries and her emotion and pain at the moment flowing through him, he probably would have never been able to stand after such near defeat in the first place. Blood dripping from his snout and discoloring the fur in the immediate area, the Lucario stood for a moment panting heavily. At that moment he would have gladly went right back in to brawling with the main opponent before him, but in his mind other things took more priority than his own grudges. Racing away from the Blaziken, and probably confusing the hell out of him in the process, Raven proceeded to bolt toward the sandy area on the other side of the spring where a certain Kirlia was being held captive. Though his movements were off-beat and slightly sluggish by this point, it still didn't take much time before he was right in the situation. After deducing the most efficient means of action, a Blaze Kick of his own met the nearby Gallade square in the face; the opponent's hands far too busy with other things to block. In his mind this was undoubtedly the best action despite how open it left him for punishment. As long as the other Psychic type was down, even just momentarily, Rin was safe to teleport herself to safety without fear of being chased once again.
"Get out of here! I'll be fine!"
He shouted in a hoarse, exhausted voice; the target for his words quite obvious. Unfortunately though, he was lying. By this point he knew death was inevitable against such strong opponents, but as long as Rin didn't see this dreary outcome all was fine in his eyes.

Mandarin

Mandarin took action the moment her arm was free, swinging another punch straight into the Hitmonlee's face. He loosened his grip for but a moment, and Rin was already gone, Teleporting off in a flash.
A loud, sharp series of cracks could be heard, and all heads turned toward the springs. In one hand, the Kirlia held a pair of suspiciously familiar pants. In the other; a gun. It glowed with Psychic energy, pointed directly at Tristen's forehead.
A shout of alarm rippled from the Blaziken's throat but a second too late, and the sharp, frightening bang of a gun being fired sounded across the clearing.
The Blaziken dropped like a stone, bleeding heavily from his throat, and Rin still stood still as the boulder she stood on, the gun pointing where Tristen had stood but a moment before.
The Hitmonlee and Gallade paused, glancing warily at the two opponents they were left with, and fled, the Gallade grabbing the Hitmonlee by the arm, and Teleporting them both away in another resounding crack.

Raven stood dumbfounded, the whole scene before him practically a blur after his ignited kick made contact with its desired target. Looking around wide-eyed, he found himself with a lack of concern as the amount of enemies before him depleted. Quickly finding the cause standing in the springs he staggered to the water's edge before wading over to the rock upon which Rin stood. Though the water immensely pained his scorched skin in places; none of that mattered at the moment compared to the heart-wrenching feeling radiating from the Kirlia before him. Scurrying up on the rocky outcropping along side of her, even though there was barely any room for the two of them, he cautiously took the weapon from her hands as if to relieve some of the burden that came along with it. He completely understood her pain, it was hard enough to take another life, never mind one of someone you knew despite how much you may or may not have hated them.
"It's okay... It's all over now..."
He assured her, bringing her into a tight embrace despite the physical pain he was still experiencing.

Rin staggered slightly as Raven pulled her close, and she stood there, numbly staring into space with a completely blank expression.
She slowly relaxed, wrapping her arms around his neck, and burying her face in his fur. She stayed like that for several minutes, holding Raven close. But as her fingers brushed the scorched fur on the back of the Lucario's neck, she felt him wince, and she pulled back with a horrified expression, cupping Raven's cheek in her hand, and the other resting on his chest.
"You're... You're hurt!" She stammered in shock, her voice ringing with guilt. This was all her fault... If it wasn't for her...
She shook her head, tears beginning to form at the corners of her crimson eyes. "I've got to get you back!" If she could find a healer of some sort...

"I'm fine."
Raven reassured her once again, though his bodily actions apparently stated otherwise. After the embrace was broken he proceeded to retrieve his pants from Rin's other hand and clothe himself once again. Aside from the blood dripping from his snout, multiple burn wounds, and the tiniest concussion, he was completely fine~
"I think it best we should still get out of here though..."
He noted, positioning himself on the rock in a way that obstructed Rin's view of the lifeless body a decent ways away.
"You're not hurt in any way...Are you?"

"Just my hand. I can deal with it later." She replied quietly, glancing at her hand. A dark bruise was already beginning to form across her hand where it had broken from punching the Gallade and Hitmonlee. Rin wasn't a physical fighter; her body wasn't built to handle hand to hand combat.
With her good hand, she wrapped her fingers carefully around Raven's wrist. "Hold on tight, Raven." She murmured softly. A moment later, both Pokemon disappeared with a sharp crack, and only the lone body of a dead Blaziken remained in the clearing, his blood spilling out across the sand.

Frost

Frost sniffed at the air, and paused, flattening his ears with an unhappy whine. Sulphur. He was at the springs. He'd gone searching for the palace, and now he wasn't even in the kingdom anymore. He was really beginning to wonder why he bothered to even try.
Feeling tired and rather put out, he padded over to the water's edge, staring down with his bright, innocent eyes. He could just make out a slight shimmer of his reflection in the pool, and he touched his nose to the surface.
He'd been here once before, with his uncle. Diablo had shown him around the boundary lands while they'd been waiting for Luna to return from the forest.
It had been just as warm and sulphur-scented as it was now. Although sulphur was a strange smell, it was soothing to the Growlithe, and still subtle enough that Pokemon with poorer senses of smell would not catch it. The air was fresh despite it, and the breeze felt cool on his fur. If he'd known how to swim, it would have been a lovely day to do so.

Cesia, Xenon and Polona

Giggling, a small Oddish with unusual pinkish patches ran towards the warm water, taking a little leap and jumping into a shallow part of the water. Despite her round figure and lack of limbs, she somehow managed to keep herself afloat. While she wasn't fond of the water's heat, it felt comfortable and revitalizing to her dry skin. She didn't notice the bright blue Growlithe.
"POLONA!" came a yell, and a quite large, quite intimidating Charizard flew in at high speeds after the Oddish, who squealed and sank to the bottom of the seat-like shelf she was on, a mere two feet. Xenon landed on the edge, looked down into the water, and was relieved to see her and the bubbles at the surface. He smiled. "'Ey Cesia, she's fine!" He closed his eyes and inhaled deeply, relaxing at the smell of sulfur.
Not a second later a Houndoom padded into the area as well. "If she's okay, why are we here?" She cast an eye around and noticed Frost for the first time. "Hey, kid," she said, looking at him critically. He didn't seem that bad but with kids you could never know.
Meanwhile, Polona had hopped out of the water, shook off her leaves and shied away from Xenon's tail-flame.

"OUT OF THE WAY! COMIN' THROUGH!" "OI VERONICA! VAIT FOR ME!" The sanctity of the Crystal Springs was suddenly shattered as a Larvitar cloaked in a harsh white light, and a Aron of similar aura charged through the trees that lead to the springs. Neck and neck the neared the shore, completely oblivious to the others that happened to be in the same area. Inches before the water, they simultaneously leaped into the air, the Larvitar's Giga Impact and the Aron's Double-Edge carrying them several feet above the water. As the peaked they both curled up into a ball, "CANNONBALL!!!" The natural weight of their respective types carried them down with such force, it really was as if a cannonball had hit the water. The splash that ensued was of tidal proportions, showering everyone and everything in the vicinity with the hot spring's water. "Really girls? Can't you be a bit more civilized?" Armand the Dusclops entered the scene, several Will-O-Wisps acting as a sort of umbrella from the sulfuric rain. He soon spotted the numerous fire-types that had already been at the springs and sighed, they were soaked, "Oh dear..."

Imiti---Celsus

Imiti and Celsus came out of the forest to see a rather large crowd of Pokemon in and around a spring. He checked his map; they were at the Crystal Springs. "I thought this place wasn't all that crowded."

"Well, what does it look like?"

"Alright, fair enough." Imiti walked into the general area of the Springs and greeted the other Pokemon there, at the same time memorizing the surrounding area should he ever decide he want to teleport there. After all, that was why he'd come. "Hey guys~"

Right behind him, there was an explosion of water as Celsus Splashed into the water.
