As the creature's tail would sweep for his feet, Bryce jumped a few feet into the air, still getting closer to the creature. As he got close enough he would plunge his sword towards the creature's jugular.

Jinx jumped back from the dieing creatures grasp. She kicked it in the face, making it stumble back and fall over the edge of the ship into the water depth. Jinx turned to see another creature who was running at Bryce. She threw a knife at it, it skid across the deck on its belly.

Jinx stumbled foreword from the blow to her back. Its claws riped through her leather shirt and dug deep into her back. Blood dripped to the floor. Jinx turned around to see her assailant. She clenched her sword tightly in her hand and went to swing, but missed. The blood was flowing quickly out of the wound, making her dizzy and lose her balance.

Worse still for Jinx, the wounds soon began stinging far more than even ones so deep should have, and an additional woozy feeling would begin to spread through her. It seemed these monsters had venom in their claws too... its lips pulling back over its jagged teeth in what could have been a grin of triumph, the same creature whipped its tail up at Jinx's sword wrist, trying to disarm her, then dashed at her, going for her throat with its claws, eyes hungry.

Bryce meanwhile managed to stop his leg becoming fish-Bleck dinner, but as the foe fell down, dead, it managed to drag Bryce crashing through the weakened deck and into the room below, which was fast filling with water from a creature-sized hole in the starboard side. There were also about five other creatures in the room who were in the process of finishing off - or, rather by now, eating - the unlucky crew members who had happened to be in that part of the ship.

Jinx's vision grew fuzzy, she could no longer keep focus on what was going on, she fell to the deck, dropping her sword. It slid across the deck and stopped before it fell over board. She eventually fell into Unconsciousness.

"WOOOO!!!" yelled the elf, firing another cannonball. This time it hit the mast and lodged itself there, the cannonball had a thick chain attached to it. The elf, who's name was Gan Ning, hopped onto the chain and ran along it with immense balance, drawing two elven longswords from his back.

Bryce put his shield up and knocked one Bleck to the ground. He then spun with this movement and cleaved another through the head as it came to him. He returned to the first Bleck and impaled it through the head. A third and fourth Bleck charged at him, he swirled to the side and gutted the third bleck through the side, then charged at the fourth Bleck as it's back was turned and stabbed it through the neck, it fell to the ground with Bryce's blood-stained blade stuck through it's neck. Bryce had been moving swiftly and avoided all shots of acidic bile. The fifth turned to face Bryce, and attacked him confidently now that the Champion had left his sword in a fallen Bleck. Bryce however knocked the creature to the side with all his might, sending it into the wall. Immediately he ran after it and chopped off it's head clean with the blades placed at the bottom of his shield. He jumped back to avoid the bile, then put his foot on the fourth Bleck and removed his sword. He checked to see if it was okay, it was. He then re-assessed himself and ran up the stairs back onto the deck.

Jinx regained consciousness for a brief moment. She opened her eyes and saw Alcharius within her reach, she grabbed the poor hat and dragged it close to her so it would be safe from harm. She then fell unconscious.
